It was surprisingly not that packed but it was also a week night. For my soup base I just got their house beef soup. You order 3 meats at a time and then you can get self serve veggies, seafood, noodles, sauce, and apps. The selection here is smaller compared to other hotpot restaurants that I've been to. I would pass on all of the apps and the side dishes as well, the bulgogi was good though. New soup was decent but I had to add a ramen packet soup base later. The meat quality here is really good. They give you really thin slices of meat and give you smaller portions so you can try more meat options.

Came here on a Friday night date night as hot pot regulars and had an overall pleasant experience here! I got the house broth, and found it average overall in flavor. The bar had a relatively diverse selection of toppings, though I found it catered more so to fish than to vegetables. There was a small smattering of premade food that I didn't try, but bf said the japchae was pretty good. Sauce bar and rice are also self serve. I did want to warn that we had better experiences with some meats than others. They do provide them in pretty small plates of thin cuts. While we really enjoyed the pork belly and beef belly, the ribeye fell very flat and kind of just tasted like plain ground beef when cooked. The lamb to me tasted odd. And because you have to finish your meat plates, we had to eat what we didn't like anyways. Bf tried the fish option and said while it was okay, it was thin and falling apart. Wait staff was kind and would come when the call button on the table was pressed. We were offered ice cream upon paying and it was pretty good! I'd say overall our experience here was good and we will likely return!

I liked the rib eye, beef belly, pork belly, and lamb legs. The meat is cut very thin and tastes delicious. I also enjoyed the octopus. They have a sauce station. They have soy sauce, Chinese BBQ sauce, and sesame oil, but they don't have Chinese black vinegar. They have the white vinegar that you can clean with (I did not like this in my sauce), but I really would like the black vinegar instead.

Finally tried this location of Manna (since the Plano location had closed) and overall enjoyed our visit. Everything was consistent with their Plano location in terms of broth and veggie station. The extra plus about this location was their ramen bar. I loved the variety of their ramen selection! The cuts of meat were sliced perfectly and good quality. The staff were overall very attentive and friendly. Much more friendly and helpful than their bbq joint next door... which made the visit so pleasant. We will definitely be back!

This was my first hot pot experience and it was super fun. They have a huge variety of meats, veggies, sauces, seafood, noodles...basically anything you could want, they have it. Come prepared with a big appetite! Will definitely be back. Super cute spot with pretty good service.

I had a great first ever hot pot experience at Manna Shabu. The toppings were ample. I really love and prefer the buffet style of hotpot to the conveyor belt/ order at your table types. I had no issue with the heating elements. Interior was very cozy. They had the most fresh and delicious broth. I really enjoyed the fish they served here and of course, my most favorite, kabocha squash. Hot pot is a special treat, and this is my favorite of the three hot pot places I've tried in DFW! Staff in the restaurant were friendly as well.

We did the combo dinner option for both kbbq and hot pot ($35) per person. Great service! We all got seated quickly and ordered 3 meats per round. They have a large self serve section for the shabu part with hot foods, desserts, and veggies/seafood. The meat for the shabu was extremely thin, however other items were great! Would rec a large group for this restaurant.

Service can be a little slow, but they easily seated our large group within 10 minutes on a weekend. I LOVE the corn cheese. It's not consistent (sometimes more oily, less cheesy, more corn), but I don't mind, I love the sizzling plate. I enjoyed the ramen as well! Meat options are good, and I like the cleanliness of everything.

Stopped by as a party of 4 on a Thursday night. Everyone got waters. Total was $130. Meat was good quality, you order 3 at a time . It's get your own veggies from the veggie bar and they have some fruit to choose from. There are also some cooked sides/ appetizers like mandu, spicy bbq chicken bites , Tteok-bokki & japchae. They have like 5/6 broths to choose from. I ordered the miso one and it was good. They also have a sauce bar. The restaurant was not too busy, they have a two hour limit and although we had not kept ordering meat and going up to the buffet area, you could tell they were ready for us to leave. The waitress kept walking by and giving dirty looks. Until she finally came up and basically kicked us out. We had been there just before 2.5 hours so the time limit is VERY STRICT. It was around 9:30p so well before closing time at 11.

Locations in Carrollton, Lewisville, and Plano, Manna Shabu specializes in Korean style shabu, or hotpot. For only $30 a person you can have unlimited broth, 11 types of meat, and wide variety of toppings at the bar including veggies, seafood, noodles, and even BANCHANS! (This is new). All their meats are excellent and served perfectly shaved thin for easy cooking. The options of meats vary from fish, lamb, chicken, different cuts of beef, etc. Rating their broth: (5/5) Manna House Beef Soup Although I usually prefer spicy broth, their beef broth is the best imo as it has light yet very savory flavor that gets better and better as the broth evaporates and broth condenses. (4/5) Chinese Hot Pot "Huo Guo" This is my go to if I want more a little more spice and herbal flavor broth. One thing about Korean hotpot is that the broth is always kept light instead of bold like the Chinese style, so keep that in mind. Also it's not that spicy. (3.5/5) Tomyum A traditional Thai soup base with a sour and spicy taste. I will again emphasize what I said in the Huo Guo broth. It's very light with a bit of tart and lemongrass as tomyum should, but it's very light. The flavor didn't deepen as much as I wanted it to as it evaporated.

Came here again for give it a try hoping it would be a little better than before, cause my family came in town and we were in the area for hot pot. But I was definitely wrong, I feel that the service got worse? We were seated when we got in, but when we finished our first round of meat we clicked the button 4 times (we waited about 5-7 minutes before clicking it again) before getting someone to actually come over to get our next order. Keep in mind it was a Thursday night and it wasn't as packed probably about 5 other tables. When we finally got her attention we got the meats, but some of my family needed more soup because we waited so long for the meats, and we clicked the button multiple times again (just like before, waiting a few minutes before clicking again) and no one ever came, we had to get up to go to a worker to ask them. Not sure why the service has gone so down, but probably won't be back again unfortunately, sucks because this used to be one of my favorite places for AYCE hot pot. The only positive thing about my experience was seeing how they did a mini remodel in the inside, they now have a section to serve warm foods, like Tteokboki, japchae, dumplings, chicken, and etc. but other than that, my experience was not great.

How much is shabu shabu AYCE for 4 people?

$25.99 per person for shabu shabu. Combo with bbq $31.99 per person

Anyone know the brand/flavor of yogurt drink they give to you when they bring the check?

It was just the original yogurt flavor, but I do not recall the brand. I will say that they stopped doing this for months now.

Does anyone know if any of the noodle options are gluten free?

They had rice noodle when I was there which I believe it's gluten free.

    Do y'all have crab?

They do have small crabs but it's not a lot of meat.

Would this be good for a team lunch? There are 8 of us so can we all sit together?

Yes, they can arrange the table for 8 ppl. However; it would be better to have a space in the middle to walk in and out get get the stuff u need for hot pot. Have two table for 4 ppl each so u and ur friends can go in and out freely..

We ordered the grill and hot pot all you can eat combination. This is my recommendation, especially if you're new to this kind of restaurant. I had the spicy hot pot liquid. I think my favorite food was chicken dumplings but there are so many different choices. Don't be shy about asking for help to create a dipping sauce.
