I thought the food was pretty good. There are limited noodle soups compared to other restaurants and they didn't have pho which is almost a standard for Vietnamese restaurants. It seems like this place is known for their com gia đinh/family style dishes, so something to keep in mind! Service is nice and attentive. The restaurant is on the smaller side so if you go during peak hours you might have to wait for a table. Would come back to try other dishes!

Tasty! Delicious! Great customer service. Prices are a bit high, but worth it here at this place. Definitely a treat for us.

Come here for the lesser known Vietnamese dishes. Dishes that are true home cooked meals, foods that families have at their weeknight dinner table in Vietnam. Truly a gem to find a place that serves good Vietnamese food beyond pho and fried rice. Get the thick tapioca noodle soup with crab meat and shrimp. The one of two places I know in DFW serving up this bowl of seafood goodness.

The to-go meal looked promising at first, but the taste didn't quite live up to expectations. The most noticeable issue was the overwhelming saltiness--it overpowered the other flavors and made the dish hard to enjoy after a few bites. On top of that, it felt unbalanced because it was missing vegetables.

Map Kitchen is a cozy family run spot with welcome vibe. They serve tasty Vietnamese, Cantonese, and Thai style dishes that feel authentic and fresh. The staff are friendly and make the experience enjoyable. Great place to try if you like Asian flavor in a casual setting .

Incredible family owned and authentic Vietnamese restaurant. I've been to Vietnam and this was the best Vietnamese cuisine I have had in Texas. Service was fast and friendly. Every dish was packed with lots of meat. All the sides (herbs, pickled vegetables and sauces) were great. I don't love beef and usually prefer pork but the Bon Bo Hue was really well seasoned and had a rich bone broth. The stewed duck soup was made with a very light and medicinal broth and included goji berries. Everything was very fresh. Portions are large. We unfortunately weren't able to try their famous yogurt because they ran out but we will for sure be back!

We enjoyed our visit to this Vietnamese cafe. Stir-fried water spinach with garlic was perfectly seasoned, not too salty but full of flavor. The Vietnamese sweet and sour catfish soup and the Vietnamese braised catfish were too sweet for our taste. Service was friendly and attentive, making the experience overall pleasant.

Mập Kitchen is fantastic for Vietnamese food! The Sweet and Sour Fish Soup with Bamboo and Braised Catfish were delicious. They are different from how I normally cook them, so it was refreshing to see a spin on Vietnamese staples. I also enjoyed the Braised Pork Ribs because it had a good kick. Everything had a hint of sweetness but definitely tart and spicy where it counted. The rice that accompanied the Fried Chicken was amazing!! I have no idea how they made that rice so good, but you should ask for a side of it if possible. Yum! This is now my go-to spot for authentic Vietnamese food.

I came here with my coworkers one day. We came as a group of 8 as soon as they opened. The staffs, maybe husband and wife, were very friendly and super sweet. The food was great. We tried a lot of things from the goi, wonton soup, bun bo hue, com ga toi, egg rolls, and the yogurt. Everything was good, especially the egg rolls, yogurt, and wonton soup!

This little restaurant is very warm and cute, it also offers an interesting menu that I don't usually see at other Vietnamese food restaurants. I ordered crab tapioca noodle soup, and surely enjoyed it. Good amount of real crab meat made me feel obligated to finish the entire bowl of soup so I do not waste any bit of it! The service was very friendly as well, nice and calming classical music was played while I was there. The only thing bothered me was the gnats flying around that I had to keep away from my food although the restaurant seemed clean. Hope there's a good solution to get rid of those gnats!

I ordered the V25. SOUN NON KHO TO. Delicious Braised Pork ribs with such great depth of flavor + it comes with a side of white rice. Cheese yogurt is well balanced and just what I needed!

You know when the waitress doesn't speak English food is authentic and going to be bomb! Good thing my husband is Vietnamese and can help translate or you can just point to pictures on the menu. One look at the menu and I was already getting excited. Dishes I don't see in common Vietnamese restaurants like banh canh, catfish clay pot or canh chua. Most restaurants have pho, rice and vermicelli dishes. This place offers more variety Vietnamese dishes that you should give a try. The banh canh did not disappoint, flavor is rich and hearty, canh chua had the right amount of sweet and sour, both dishes tasted like a home cooked meal. Service was good, food came out quick. I will definitely be back to try their other dishes!

It really gave that street food feel with all the flags, casual energy, and fast service. We ordered the crispy chicken skin, Moo Ping, and Pad See Ew. The place was packed as expected because I know that everyone loves this place. We tried a stew. I was on the specials menu and it was fantastic. Served in a hot pot. It was plenty for my son and I had to share with neither of us feeling stuffed. Service was efficient and friendly, but bearing in mind that this was a "street eats atmosphere" I wasn't expecting , white tablecloth service. When we walked in, the hostess had a poor attitude and was off putting. Unfriendly and borderline rude. We made sure to get there as soon as they opened because we knew it would be dead, and we'd have better luck at quicker service. Unfortunately, they sat us outside because we had our ESA animal in an enclosed carrier after grilling us about what services he performs, and I believe we were forgotten about since we were the only ones on the porch. It was a very warm day with high humidity. I asked the hostess if she could make sure the fans were on since it was so hot, and she asked, "So, you want me to turn them off?" We only ordered two apps of Roti Canai, one order of the twice friend wings, and an order or the donuts (all were ordered at once to help speed things along since it was so hot outside.) It took quite a while, and the wings came out soggy and cold, which is not the norm. A thunderstorm was coming in, and we had been waiting on our donuts for at least 20 minutes at this point. My husband informed the hostess that we would have to either cancel the order or move inside since it was about to start raining. She flippantly said that she would have to ask the manager first if we were allowed inside. We were so turned off that it really ruined the experience, and it was not the way we wanted to celebrate Mother's Day. The donuts finally came out (also cold), and I had my husband just give her the credit card without the check so we could hurry up and get off the porch before it started coming down. We rushed through the dessert and left. Not loving our experience and not sure if we'll be back until the attitude and service changes. We're bummed because we were always a fan of this place until now.

The staff here are very sweet and helpful with questions about the menu and were not afraid to point out popular choices. Our server indicated that the Basil Duck and the Duck Curry were the best and that the Duck Curry was more popular. So I chose that and my husband ordered the Thai Lo Mein with Beef and we split the Fresh Salad Rolls with added shrimp with peanut sauce. All of the items were amazing. The curry was unique and included added sweetness from pineapple and lychee. It was soooooooo good. The salad rolls were great with fresh peanut sauce. So nice with the added shrimp. My favorite was the Tom Kha, with its rich coconut flavor and pleasant sourness. For my main dish, I chose the Khao Soi, which was absolutely delicious. Unlike many Thai dishes I've tried elsewhere, this restaurant's offerings--especially the variety of seafood and meat options--have a more refined and subtle flavor.
