I thought the food was pretty good. There are limited noodle soups compared to other restaurants and they didn't have pho which is almost a standard for Vietnamese restaurants. It seems like this place is known for their com gia đinh/family style dishes, so something to keep in mind! Service is nice and attentive. The restaurant is on the smaller side so if you go during peak hours you might have to wait for a table. Would come back to try other dishes!

What a special hidden gem for authentic Vietnamese food! The service was exceptional with very kind and attentive waiters. The restaurant itself is very clean and well decorated, making it an inviting and cozy place to dine in with your friends and family. Lastly, the food was SO good. You really get what you pay for with the high quality food. I got the water spinach with garlic, braised pork belly with quail egg, sweet and sour catfish soup, braised catfish, and the sugarcane juice with calamansi! Everything was so delicious. We can't wait to go back to try more food!!

Tasty! Delicious! Great customer service. Prices are a bit high, but worth it here at this place. Definitely a treat for us.

Come here for the lesser known Vietnamese dishes. Dishes that are true home cooked meals, foods that families have at their weeknight dinner table in Vietnam. Truly a gem to find a place that serves good Vietnamese food beyond pho and fried rice. Get the thick tapioca noodle soup with crab meat and shrimp. The one of two places I know in DFW serving up this bowl of seafood goodness.

Map Kitchen is a cozy family run spot with welcome vibe. They serve tasty Vietnamese, Cantonese, and Thai style dishes that feel authentic and fresh. The staff are friendly and make the experience enjoyable. Great place to try if you like Asian flavor in a casual setting .

Incredible family owned and authentic Vietnamese restaurant. I've been to Vietnam and this was the best Vietnamese cuisine I have had in Texas. Service was fast and friendly. Every dish was packed with lots of meat. All the sides (herbs, pickled vegetables and sauces) were great. I don't love beef and usually prefer pork but the Bon Bo Hue was really well seasoned and had a rich bone broth. The stewed duck soup was made with a very light and medicinal broth and included goji berries. Everything was very fresh. Portions are large. We unfortunately weren't able to try their famous yogurt because they ran out but we will for sure be back!

Mập Kitchen is fantastic for Vietnamese food! The Sweet and Sour Fish Soup with Bamboo and Braised Catfish were delicious. They are different from how I normally cook them, so it was refreshing to see a spin on Vietnamese staples. I also enjoyed the Braised Pork Ribs because it had a good kick. Everything had a hint of sweetness but definitely tart and spicy where it counted. The rice that accompanied the Fried Chicken was amazing!! I have no idea how they made that rice so good, but you should ask for a side of it if possible. Yum! This is now my go-to spot for authentic Vietnamese food.

We enjoyed our visit to this Vietnamese cafe. Stir-fried water spinach with garlic was perfectly seasoned, not too salty but full of flavor. The Vietnamese sweet and sour catfish soup and the Vietnamese braised catfish were too sweet for our taste. Service was friendly and attentive, making the experience overall pleasant.

I came here with my coworkers one day. We came as a group of 8 as soon as they opened. The staffs, maybe husband and wife, were very friendly and super sweet. The food was great. We tried a lot of things from the goi, wonton soup, bun bo hue, com ga toi, egg rolls, and the yogurt. Everything was good, especially the egg rolls, yogurt, and wonton soup!

The to-go meal looked promising at first, but the taste didn't quite live up to expectations. The most noticeable issue was the overwhelming saltiness--it overpowered the other flavors and made the dish hard to enjoy after a few bites. On top of that, it felt unbalanced because it was missing vegetables.

This little restaurant is very warm and cute, it also offers an interesting menu that I don't usually see at other Vietnamese food restaurants. I ordered crab tapioca noodle soup, and surely enjoyed it. Good amount of real crab meat made me feel obligated to finish the entire bowl of soup so I do not waste any bit of it! The service was very friendly as well, nice and calming classical music was played while I was there. The only thing bothered me was the gnats flying around that I had to keep away from my food although the restaurant seemed clean. Hope there's a good solution to get rid of those gnats!

I ordered the V25. SOUN NON KHO TO. Delicious Braised Pork ribs with such great depth of flavor + it comes with a side of white rice. Cheese yogurt is well balanced and just what I needed!

You know when the waitress doesn't speak English food is authentic and going to be bomb! Good thing my husband is Vietnamese and can help translate or you can just point to pictures on the menu. One look at the menu and I was already getting excited. Dishes I don't see in common Vietnamese restaurants like banh canh, catfish clay pot or canh chua. Most restaurants have pho, rice and vermicelli dishes. This place offers more variety Vietnamese dishes that you should give a try. The banh canh did not disappoint, flavor is rich and hearty, canh chua had the right amount of sweet and sour, both dishes tasted like a home cooked meal. Service was good, food came out quick. I will definitely be back to try their other dishes!

Good food, good mood, amazing server. Everything made the experience 5 stars!…read more Kelly was super informative and friendly. She took care of us and made sure we got the good stuff. We've been to the watauga location before which is owned by the father. The Carrollton location is owned by the son. It's newer and more modern and bigger than the original location. They also had a lot more workers too. They have the same recipes for the pho and banh mi. But Kelly said the drinks and Bbh were different so we had to get them. It did not disappoint. Got the da chanh which is their limeade. Just like my mama makes it. Their coffee is different too she said. I loved my BBH. It did impress me. The meat was tender. Usually places don't make it as tender. The cuts were good too. Had some fatty pieces. I like to dip mine in nuoc mam. My son loved the crispy egg rolls. Overall would definitely come back! Everything we got was $57 so not bad.

Only if the vegetables were more in the soup.. it would be perfect. It just my opinion…read more Spring rolls and egg rolls were great and soup was good. I would recommend this place for young couples who have kids. They have great kids meal options. No need to share or order the big bowl for them.
