Here is what came with ours: - Prickly pear margaritas (complimentary sample) - Bread serives with olives, baby radishes, and sopressata - Course #1: Oyster shooters with caviar (shots of vodka) - Course #2: Seafood tower with crab legs, prawns, and clams, finished with an amazing chef's specicial pasta that was probably the best pasta I've ever had! - Course #3: Tuna Tartare & Maple & Ash Salad - Course #4: 28-day dry-aged NY Strip (with an amazing sauce), Branzino, ricotta agnolotti (pillows of love) with winter truffle, asparagus, whipped potatoes - Course #5: Sundae tower with a bazillion toppings (the cherries, warm peanut sauce, and chocolate sauce were so good!) OMG! What a fabulous brunch place!!! We flew to PHX from SBP for a long weekend. The plan was to have an older couple who were neighbors of ours on the central coast and one of their sons with wife wife join us. We had planned a brunch at the Phoenician, where we are staying but for whatever reason, they are not doing it. (Covid, Delta, whatever.) So the lovely Concierge team suggested Maple & Ash! When they went online, nothing was available. But they called and were able to get us a reservation for 6. Long story, short! They could not join and my husband and I went. Again. OMG! A lovely ambiance! Despite their dress code, of which we had no idea, they let us in. I had the most gaudy, bright shirt on. We had the most lovely server, Kyrri! But the whole staff took care of us. We opted for the What the what the F prix fixe. It was incredible! More food than I can eat. And delicious! Thank you all staff! and another post script: Seeing some other very bad reviews: We were at first not happy with the loud music. Once we realized that there were many party tables, we realized why. The waiter welcomed us with a complimentary cocktail, along with one of their iconic menus that is customized for our occasion. The food was all incredible with amazing flavors!! We went for happy hour and had planned out what we were going to eat, once we got there we were seated but didn't know that if your in the dining area you can't order happy hour, it can only be done in the lounge. We weren't aware of that rule. Anyways our servers were very attentive and very helpful I loved the pillows of love definitely recommend (they're addicting), didn't care much for the truffle ribbon or whatever is put in there -- it was too salty for me. I stopped in with no reservation while visiting family in the Scottsdale area. The staff was very accommodating. At the very moment I was seated at the table the server greeted me with a welcome cocktail. Very nice touch! (So I had to restart my review because I posted a whole story of another restaurant thinking it was this restaurant and had to delete that because I had to remove the photos because it didn't make sense of the restaurant. Lol I've been dining everywhere so here it goes) I love fine dining restaurants. I love to dress up and spend on high quality food. Not all the time though but once in a while lol I took my friends who visited from Cali here at Maple & Ash. And one of them had an upcoming birthday and wanted to celebrate earlier. We were cute and fancy af! We took photos of the decor outside and the interior was a dark themed. Had to use flash or the candles that lit up our photos. Reminds me of the Haunted Mansion ride at Disneyland. So in coming in, we had to check in for the reservation and waited to be seated. If I can say though, since the line piled up and everyone was squeezing themselves in, I think it'd be best to place the people who already checked in seated. Because it gets packed if the guest service desk were asking the rest of the people outside to come in and check in while the rest who checked in are already inside waiting. Do you know what I mean? But just a thought. It wasn't a long wait, but to avoid the excuse me, pardon me, coming through.. once your name is called. Love the decor and different candle arrangements in each table. The restroom was fancy, as there is a lady handing out dry paper towels to wipe your hands after washing them. I've seen that before but my friends who have not yet seen that were confused as to why that was neccessary. One of my friends called herself the garbage disposal because not only she ordered another round of lobster but she ate the food the rest of us ordered that night. She is so skinny and I was surprised she had the room to eat some more. I salute her. Lol The highlight of the night was spending time with my friends, it was a lady's night for sure. The main courses were delicious burst of Ricotta Agnolotti, melt in your mouth, my goodness I want another! and the steak tartare with the egg yolk was amazing. The first and best I've ever had thus far! Loved the mashed potatoes. Some I've tried were runny or overcooked but this one was really good on point, seasoned well mashed potato. Big serving too! We thought it would be a small serving. For the dessert the ice cream on a bed of crumbled cookies, next to the Lemon Mousse. Omg that was on point! I devoured that before my friend could take another bite into it. Although my stomach didn't thank me because I'm lactose. It was one of a kind. It tasted like you accidentally sprayed perfume around your face and somehow licked your lips and tasted the perfume. Or it tasted like Earl Grey Tea. More towards that. I forgot what was on the actual dessert. The chocolate was delicious as it was rich in flavor. The cocktail they served that night, well I drank like 3. I forgot the name of it but I love sweet drinks! Love the timing of the waiters in coming to refill our water and we were seated in front of the kitchen. Having a good dinner and a show. One last thing: I had to modify this reservation several times and called to make sure it was perfect. Thank you for making accomedations and for serving us this splendid dinner! The ambiance is a vibe. My husband took me here on my birthday. I recommend going early if you can, we had a 5:30 reservation which was actually perfect as it was not busy at all. The staff was super attentive during this time frame and I assume it was because they weren't busy. We received excellent service!!! It was my bday I received an awesome keepsake in the form of a menu transformed into a bday card with a fitting bday greeting. We received complimentary mini raspberry martinis which were delicious!! They brought out small sample plate with , bread, veggies and salami...pretty tasty. We ordered the passion from a distance drink which was outstanding!!! I know a steakhouse isn't the place for a vegetarian but sometimes we are with a big group of people and would like an option. Even the pasta was made with animal stock. I asked the server if the fries were cooked in animal fat and he said "no". But they were. So that was a serious misstep in my opinion. I had a cocktail that was very pretty because it was served with a sphere with a flower in it but it was awkward to drink a cocktail in a martini glass with a ice sphere that large. My fiancé and I came here last night to celebrate our engagement! 12/10!! Wow! We were greeted with warm smiles and congratulating us on our engagement. We were taken back to the climate controlled patio which was beautiful! It wasn't too loud with the mall traffic behind us. Our waitress, Jennah, was one of the best we've ever had at any restaurant. We took our son here for his 19th birthday and all three of us had the we don't give a f' dinner so I guess it would be appropriate to say we really didn't give a f'! I had a wonderful experience here last night. My friend and I came for happy hour for her bday. The staff was so friendly and warm. It is complimentary valet parking. Went last night on a date here with my boyfriend, We arrived earlier than our reservation to sit on the bar for a drink before food but it was full, they sat us right away, I enjoyed the dark theme, and the little complimentary shot they give you upon arrival. They use real long candles, super pretty tho but i thought was a little liability. Service was great, everyone was friendly and professional, our waiter was awesome. The reason for my 4 star and not 5 is because my boyfriend ordered a filet medium, was completely rare and even raw inside. He did not eat it all. Three words: pillows of love. My husband has named this his favorite restaurant in the Phoenix area and it is easily in my top 3. The first time we went, we got the I Don't Give a F*ck (omakase). It was entirely too much food, but we enjoyed every minute of it. And it made it that much easier to order when we came back with my husband's colleagues.
