Been using Marcos since covid and enjoy the pizza and calzones. All food was as ordered and was well prepared.

Great staff, very friendly, good pizza, traditional pizza toppings options. Would eat there again.

Grabbed a to-go order last Saturday late afternoon and went back 15 minutes to pick up our order during the walk-in, I should have called beforehand. Got the Chicken Dippers Boneless appetizer for $10.99 with Bleu Cheese as a dip, it was delicious and had a pretty good serving-though a little thick on the breading as I have noticed. Also ordered the Philly Cheesesteak Pizza-12 Slices to share with the rest of the family and we enjoyed it very much and happy to have tried it. read more

Heather was so great this week. I had a large catering order for work with little notice. I already knew Marco's always provides a quick, good lunch for my company. She got the pizzas, sandwiches, chicken and brownies ready quickly and great quality. She even said she was the only one there that morning. The brownies and all the other food was still warm when it arrived. Marcos is my new go-to place for large lunches for my company. As a side note, the "big" cheese (5 cheese) pizza I do not recommend. The cheeses' flavors don't mix well and people don't eat it. I do recommend Marcos highly. read more

Update: 4/2023, worst "cheesesteak" ever! So nasty our dog won't even touch it. And the large pizza was mediocre, but you better eat it all while it's fresh....the leftovers are like Little Caesars. The service at this place is horrible and I gave them another chance the first time a fly was in my food and the manager was rude after getting home and driving all the way back. He wouldn't even try to compensate or apply a discount now today I ordered my kids food at 6:32 pm get there at 7:15 because it take forever for my order to be wrong and told it's going to be an additional 30 min wait like wtf is the purpose of calling an placing a order ahead of time and no form of compensation or care for my time. Food is good but the service is much desired. The restaurant is clean and neat but that is because you can't get anyone to wait on you. Placed the order online and gave extra time for them to make it. Arrived in drive through and pushed button but no one comes to help. You can see the workers and they can see you but crickets.... After 10 minutes of pushing the button someone finally came and tried to give me someone else's order. If it was something better I would have taken it.... I placed my order and paid for it through the Yelp app. After completing my order, the he app said it would be an hour and I could pick up between 7:54pm and 8:14pm. I rrived around 8:00pm. They had no clue what I was talking about. They hadn't received my order at all. Of course when I opened the app to show them, they he message telling me what time to be there was gone. I was given the option to order again. No Thank You. I had already waited an hour for a pizza that takes half of that time to make. Showing some love for the newest Marco's Pizza store! If you play your cards right, you'll walk out in an unadulterated food coma. A few interesting tidbits I noticed right off the bat: 1. Having not stepped in a Marco's in years and knowing it's a takeout pizza joint, I was surprised to see there were two, six-top tables and a few two tops for seating. And the entire place was spotless! 2. To the right of the counter, there's a real-life size chart of the different pizza pies, which I thought was such a smart idea! Now you know what you're getting into before ordering a small, medium, large or XL pie. 3. The owners, Kurt and Shannon, were the sweetest couple. Kurt is still enlisted in the military and is going back to the Navy in eight months. Even though Marco's is a franchise, it's still locally owned and operated, and there's a great story behind the scenes. Pizza-wise, we tried the gamut. My two favorites were the Meat-Lovers and surprisingly, the Chicken Florentine. I highly suggest the Garlic Butter crust topper, because it elevates the crust game! Four stars reflects my overall opinion of all the different types of food we tried. In my opinion, Marco's Pizza fills a valuable need in the community. They use fresh ingredients, the product is super affordable, and the people behind the counter care about your experience. Ok, I was off of work this week. It was time to head to Baymeadows Marcos. I saw a few postings on Instagram and I told them I would come in for a meal soon. Ernie's daughter, Autumn came over to visit. I decided this was a perfect time to head that way, so we did. We found it very easily, near 295. This Is a Military family owned franchise. But, the quality of the food is higher than average. You could savor the freshness of the deluxe and meat calzones we enjoyed. We also shared an order of bbq wings. The wings were crunchy, just the way I like it and then tossed in bbq sauce. Devine. We dined in, but we saw a lot of take out, pick up and delivery. We were very happy to see a large high top table, a lower(large) table, & a few quaint tables in the back. The place was very fresh and clean. We all wanted water. So, we were served a bottle of water. I will come by here as often as I am in the area. I sure wish I lived closer. Now, that your are having cravings, get in your car and head to Marcos! read more

Pizza is acceptable. Service is usually good, but I have been ignored two out of the past three nights. Stood at the counter and staff was very determined to NOT make eye contact with me. I called after I returned home to inquire about this and was hung up on. Not good! I would give this place five stars if I only came in on certain nights when service was dynamic, but left frustrated twice because of the "dead atmosphere." These people are intolerant of customers and quite the discredit to the brand. I usually order one or two pizzas a few times a week-- I'm done! No more. If they're not in business to serve people, lock the d--- doors! BTW, I always tip $5-$10 to each person when I come in at 10:25 because I know it is difficult to work late. I ordered thin crust BBQ chicken and regular pepperoni. While both had a good taste, thin crust won. Pepperoni was a little too greasy and floppy. It was not perfect, but definitely better than majority pizza places in Jax. I would order their pizza again. I ordered it online and delivery was very quick. read more

I've ordered from here many of times. At first, it was very good and then went down hill. A few months ago I ordered a pepperoni pizza to be delivered. When I got it, it had ham pineapple huge onions and tomatoes with mushrooms and my 2-liter was missing. I called to have it remade and redelivered (we live 1 minute down the road) but the manger said they would only remake it and have to charge me a delivery fee. I emailed the owner and never received a response. Since then, it has just been bad. Tonight is the last time I'll order from Marcos. There is no sauce on this pizza as well as having a very thick and chewy texture. read more

This is the newest location of the hit franchise Marco's Pizza on the Southside of town. The place is so brand new, the paint is hardly dry! They deliver but they also have a small dining area, unlike a lot of pizza places in this category which only offer take out or delivery. The dine in deals are pretty fantastic too. I took my daughter here because she loves pizza . This joint is kid tested and father approved- there are even high chairs available. The staff is warm and friendly and for those with little ones, there is a changing table in both bathrooms. And the pizza???? Bellisimo! The first 6 times the pizza was great fast service and friendly staff. Plus the convenience have a drive-through window. But the last 2 times we went staff was so rude it was ridiculous food was not hot and fresh but have been in the past when you called to speak with the manager or franchise representative they Obviously aren't getting the message. I have heard about this pizza, but when my boss asked us what we wanted for pizza, I knew I had to ask if we could order from here. She raved about their pizza as well, so we ordered two pizzas and a Greek salad. It was ready within 20 minutes, and they were fresh from the oven when I picked them up. The pizza was oozing from all the cheese they put on their pizza. I think the Hawaiian chicken is my new favorite! The Greek salad was more than enough for the four of us, and they made sure to give us extra Greek and Caesar salad dressings when I asked for them. They also provided extra plates as well. Tonight's pizza and cheesy bread was excellent. The order was exactly right and so so fast! We live within walking distance so we walked over to pick up our order that we had placed via the app (super easy btw!) and it was still burn-the-roof-of-your-mouth hot when we got it home. Pizza is just think it is like a deep dish ONLY. I just wish they offered something between the micro crust and very thick. I will have to go somewhere when I do not have to eat a pizza cake not a PiE. I think the staff is so poorly trained that they pick up the same amount of dough and just between VERY THICK medium and thick EXL it could be good but TOO BAD They have gone back to normal sliced veggies. So, I normally don't write a negative review unless I feel compelled to do so. My daughters and I decided to come in for food, and I was really taken back and surprised at how out right rude the service we received. We initially asked politely if seating was permitted before we placed our order, and the girl behind the counter, "Emoni", seemed to act as though we were intruding, and gave us a slight "yes" but seemed to be bothered in some way. She gave us nothing but scorned attitude, and when I asked a few basic questions about the menu, she spoke so low and seemed to be glaring us down. There were a few other employees in the lobby area, and we weren't greeted, or given any type of acknowledgment. I honestly thought perhaps the place was closing up or something, due to bad weather, even though it was only 3:30. There was a soccer game on, that the entire staff seemed to be vested in, so while I didn't fault them for wanting to watch a game, the unnecessary attitude was so deliberate and unwarranted. We have been here a few times in the past and never experienced this sort of service, and were always given friendly service, so it was a bit surprising. It's almost as though this employee went out of her way to be rude to us; which made little sense to me since we had only walked in to place an order. I don't condemn younger employees for perhaps their lack of experience or people skills; however this specific girl should NOT be at the register taking orders and seemed to be upset over something. The bathroom was also a hot mess with trash overflowing. With that said, our food was very good and was served up in an efficient time, so there was absolutely no complaints in that area. However; unfortunately, based on this encounter I will no longer come back to this location, and wouldn't encourage the eat in option based on this situation. Simple common courtesy seems like a basic 101 skill, and it was TOTALLY lacking. Really sad , I truly hope that this was an isolated incident. read more

So we got 2 medium pepperoni pizzas and had to wait 20 mins. The people who work there was pretty chill and the place was clean. But other than that, the pepperoni pizza was DAWG AWFUL! We had Marcos's Pizza the other night as we do many times per month because they are always good! We usually get it from Kernan but got it from Baymeadows this time. And they are consistent on their product at both locations. There service is always very fast! We usually get a cheese pizza and a pizza with all the toppings. They are both delicious! We are big pizza people and by far this is our favorite place! The offer garlic crust which is the best! The toppings are HUGE and plenty and fresh! The cost is great! The website for ordering is horrible but we have called to explain this and that we can't enter the online coupon and they still honor it! We have never ever had anything less than perfect at at Marcos! If you haven't tried it, you have to take the plunge and you won't be disappointed!
