Stopped in and ordered a couple pizzas. The inside was very nice and clean. Bigger than I expected from the outside usually quick pizza places are grab and go. Just for next time we might stay and eat. Employees were very friendly and manager helped us with a coupon we asked about. Put our order in and like 15 minutes it was ready to go. We live like 10 miles away and it was still piping hot when we got home. Haven't had Marcos in a while and it really hit the spot. The pizza did not lack for toppings at all. This was for a pickup order, ordered online. I've never had Marco's. My son had it when he was at Skate Naked's Skate Camp and dug it - so we ordered some tonight (because his favorite is Papa John's, and I told him that if he wanted pizza tonight, I'd get it from anywhere that wasn't them). First and foremost, it was fast. This is the "closest" location to my house, and I ordered, left, and it was ready when I arrive in ~15 minutes. Now, for the pizza: It's a little "crust heavy." Solid flavor, crispy, crunchy. Crispy pepperoni. Good sauce. I'm liking it. Nice coverage of pepperoni (not "edge to edge" donatos style, but a nice, healthy, crispy amount). I liked it, my son enjoyed it. For the Chicken Caesar Salad: ...I really liked the salad. Shaved parmesan, chunks of chicken? They say "two servings" but you could skip the second dressing they give and consume it solo, and it's maybe a favorite of the chicken caesar salads I've had recently. The brownie: this was a standard "pan brownie" that isn't exactly a "make or break" dessert, just something fast and easy, clearly. I wouldn't say it's the draw (nor, should it be, IMO). I like them. I have been getting coupons to this pizza place for a while, so finally decided to try it. I did my order online, which was easy, but the buy one get one free coupon code was not working online, so just did the pay cash option and used the physical coupon it in-store. The pizza was done on time as I had ordered it for 4:15 pickup. The large pizzas are $17.99. I got two specialty large pizzas, Philly cheese steak as is and BBQ chicken. Since I had BOGO offer, I just payed $17.99 and left a tip. On the BBQ chicken pizza, I customized it with red onions and jalapeños instead of the bacon and white onions on it originally, and also added garlic to the crust. I must say the garlic on the crust adds a whole level of flavor, otherwise I didn't really care for the crust. Overall, the pizza was average to me. I found the Philly cheese steak a bit too salty and did not like the cut of the chicken on the BBQ chicken pizza, I like it in smaller pieces so that I get meat on every bite. I will start with the food. My wife and I tried the pizzoli. they were ok. Very, very greasy! They tasted fine but too much grease. They only serve bottled drinks and we enjoy fountain drinks to sit down and enjoy dinner. The staff working that night not very helpful and seemed like they really did not want to be there working. I took offense to the music that was playing. Rap music with profane language. For this reason alone I will not be back. I could not get out of there fast enough. I am assuming all these 4 star ratings were carry out orders. This was my first time, most likely my last. Too bad. My daughter and her entire family have COVID and ordered pizza from Marcos in Lewis Center because the website said they had Curbside Pickup. When they arrived, the woman she talked to refused to bring the pizza outside. My daughter explained the situation and she still refused. My daughter cancelled the order and the woman said, "You are cancelling a $25 order because I won't bring the pizza outside???" and then she hung up. I'm on a hunt for some great pizza. I get so many coupons in the ads that I have decided to look for some great pizza. I'll start today by adding Marco's pizza to Yelp and get the ball rolling with my review. I downloaded the app and signed up for a free account. I'm impressed with the app. I like that it's user friendly, and no hassle. I ordered my pizza, picked some alternate options, entered my coupon, paid for the pizza, done! 15 min later my pizza was done and ready for pickup. From start to finish the process was perfect. Now to taste the pizza. I ordered a specialty pizza - the Hawaiian Chicken - Ham, grilled chicken, bacon, pineapple, our signature sauce and three-cheese blend. I also added all 3 crust toppings (garlic, parm & roma). The pizza looked pretty fantastic when I opened the box. The toppings were spread out evenly and the crust looked fancy. The pizza was pretty good. I wouldn't say it was amazing or over the top. I would compare it to Papa Johns. It had a similar taste and quality to it. Nothing bad or negative about it. Tastes like a chain. No complaints. It was alright. No wow factor. There was some sort of drizzle on the crust: we asked for all the crust modifiers. I wasn't a big fan of the crust even with the drizzle. What I did like was that the Hawaiian pizza not only had ham and pineapple but also bacon and chicken. That was a nice flavor combo. Overall a good solid pizza, but it doesn't have any special flair to it. read more

Really good pizza at a reasonable price. Location is clean and the order is always ready on time. We've ordered online for pick up at least 10 times, using the custom order option. The subs were perfectly toasted and made exactly as we asked, as well as the pizza. The loyalty points are awesome too as we usually have a $10 coupon waiting for us every other time we checkout. Long time customer - big time disappointed.... Ordered through their app around 5:50pm and was given a 6:32 pickup time.... Went in at 6:35, paid for the two pizzas and gave a $10 tip and was then told it would be another 10-12 minutes... ok. Went and listened to the end of the 2nd quarter of the Buckeyes game in the truck.... Go back inside 15 minutes later and after waiting in line for 2-3 minutes I was told it would be another 5-6 minutes.... The excuse given was 'to make sire my pizzas were cooked 'extra done per my request'.... Really?.. pretty sure my pizzas were not even made yet when I arrived at the time I was originally told for pickup.... To add to the frustration, I get an email update at 6:50pm that my order has already been picked up, yet I'm sitting in my truck still waiting! 10 minutes later when I get to speak to a worker and was told my order would still be a few minutes longer (almost 30 minutes after the original pick up time) I ask how can it show on their tracking system that my order has already been picked up?.. Deer in the headlights for 5 seconds and then about 5 different excuses - manpower, Covid, blah blah blah... Covid has been here for almost 2 years now.... there were 4 people in the kitchen working - more than normal, so not buying it.... I get being busy, but getting the lip service runaround just pisses me off.., speaking of not buying it, will likely not be buying it from them for awhile.... read more

I ordered dinner Friday evening (10/30) - Large pizza, cheesy bread, and 3 marinaras. Upon arrival, around 5:58PM, we had received 1 ranch (not ordered) and 0 marinaras. I called right away (roughly 6:00PM) and spoke to a female, asking if someone could return with the 3 sauces I had ordered. She explained she didn't think her manager would let a driver make a run for "just sauces", but would ask. She never returned to the phone, but instead put the location manager "Brad" on the line. I explained everything to him. He was extremely rude. His comment was "We have several orders ahead of you, can't I just give you a better offer for next time?" I was clear I did not want anything but the sauces I had already paid for. He said "This could take a while" trying to deter me. It wasn't our fault someone read the ticket wrong and didn't place our order correctly in the bag. I understand things happen and that's okay, but he should have made it right by having someone deliver what was already paid for. Trying to be understanding, I said fine. At 8:30PM (an hour and a half post our conversation) we had still not received anything (yet we received our food within 45 minutes the same night)!! I called Brad back, explaining we had yet to receive the sauces. He said "Well I sent them." I highly doubt he did. You could tell it was a total inconvenience to his evening. I asked for a full refund. Nothing posted Friday, Saturday, or today (11/02). I called Brad again this morning in reference to the refund. He responded, "I don't know what to tell you, it's handled on my end. Call your bank." I have never been so disappointed in a manager in my life. It's not even about the 3 sauces that we paid for but never received, it's about his unapologetically poor attitude about the whole situation. What happened to good customer service?? This location- because of the manager- is lacking people skills and just lost a routinely purchasing customer. He declined to give me his last name or his manager's info.
