I can't believe I went eighteen years as a Plano citizen without discovering this place! Marco's is BY FAR the best pizza I've ever had. My favorite is the Pepperoni Magnifico. We call it Little Boats of Grease because the Old World Pepperoni curls up into little cups and becomes the best part of the pizza. I seriously cannot recommend this place enough. read more

Full disclosure that we did not pay for the pizza, but was served the pizza at a neighborhood pool party. Hubby and I were excited to try Marco's because of the advertisement blitz connected with its Parker Road grand opening. Not sure if it is due to the pizza being preordered in bulk for the party, but the thin pizza was terrible. No flavor cardboard that pepper flakes could not even help. Hubby and I walked away thankful that we did not have to spend any money to try Marco's pizza. This experience did not sway me from my FAVORITE pizza in Plano - Ferrari's. read more

The pizza is still delicious, but this update review comes from a lack of good customer service. The four or five times I've gone back since my initial review, my order has been incorrect. Every time. And not once has a full refund been offered for the inconvenience of having received what I did not pay for and having to wait for the correct order to be made. Instead, I've gotten excuses which I have no patience for. As someone who's worked in the food industry for many years, I've found it's best to eat the bill and make sure a customer is happy and will return than throwing excuses their way. Ordered a Canadian bacon and pineapple pizza that was good. The steak and cheese sub was kinda lacking, asked for onion with it but it wasn't grilled or even warmed up, just lots of raw onion tossed in along with canned mushrooms which apparently come with it. I gave it a 3 for the pizza part, they didn't screw that up any. Go earlier than they say for pickup so your stuff doesn't sit. read more

Marco's Pizza was served at Fenton's Dance Factory Grand opening. It was delicious we had the pepperoni and also the cheese both were full flavored and nice and fresh. My daughters and I all enjoyed it. Tonight will be watching Halloween movies and making it a Marco's pizza Night. read more

I really want to like Marcos's, I really do. They've got good tasting ingredients, not the bland flavorless see through pepperoni and crumbles of something that *LOOKS* like sausage that you get from some places... However... The attention to detail at this Marco's is absent, I've gotten quite a few deliveries, and while they're usually fairly on time, I don't think I've gotten a SINGLE ONE that's been without mistakes. Any customization is likely to be missed.. or something random put in. We've had sandwiches that were wrong, pizzas that were wrong, missing substitutions, salads that were wrong... you name it. My last order, I got a chicken caesar salad that someone had dumped a handful of shredded mozzarella on... instead of the shaved parm that's on the menu. Lettuce, chicken, mozzarella, croutons, dressing... it's something, but it's not a Caesar salad. I just wish they'd pay attention to what's on the ticket, then they'd easily be 5 stars. read more

First time ordering from here. Hubs and I got a pepperoni pizza and the cheesy bread. The pizza had really good flavor and plenty of cheese! Not certain I'd get the cheesy bread again. It was good, but would probably be better stuffed instead of just having it on top. Though, I'm picky about my cheese bread. Pizza was a little more greasy than I like. Was also delivered quickly. Love the old world pepperonis but I asked for my wings to be "well done" and they were delivered warm and soggy-definitely far from well done. In fact, my pizza actually looked well done. The cheese was very dark and my son almost didn't eat it. read more

Usually pick up ready to bake. Day two of building a patio, couldn't lift arms. Google, found Marco's. Non- irritating website, emailed confirmation of my order w/arrival target of 40 mins. Arrived 39 mins. Professional, courteous driver drove cautiously through kid-packed neighborhood. Hot, exactly what I ordered. Happy with experience, choice, quality, ease of site, time, delicious. Horrible service. Pickup pizza was quoted 30 mins and it took an hour. They also neglected several phone calls. We won't be back.

A few days ago I called the location on Parker rd. To see if they were previously on Parkwood, as I've eaten there before, it was called Marcos and it was great, the call was answered unprofessionally and i was told she didnt know...no attempt to try and find out. Since this location just opened I wanted to give them a chance by ordering pizza and subs tonight, about $45 worth. I created an account online and selected my items, I was issued a 30% off coupon code while I was browsing their menu online, so I applied that to my order and went to hit "place order" nothing happened so I tried again, nothing happened again. So I decided to call to place the order, upon the call being answered I was placed on a 5 minute hold, when the person came back to the phone I explained what I had experienced online, again nothing helpful was being offered by the staff. I started to place my order and each item I ordered was read back to me incorrectly..wrong size or wrong name of pizza, I explained that on THEIR website was a deal for a medium specialty pizza for $9.99, she repeated what I said to her manager who was close by as I could hear her unprofessional replies back, they were unaware of the type of pizza I was asking for, again which I was reading from THEIR website, due to the frustration I was feeling I decided to cut my order shorter than I originally planned and was finished, I explained that I had a code to get a discount, she then repeated that to her manager who again was rude in her reply that I would have to bring the coupon in, I explained it was online, just a code not a coupon that can be presented as its on my computer, again unprofessional comments. I then just canceled my order and will never give this establishment another try. The customer service was the worst I've encountered, no respect for the customer, no trying to be kind or see what can be done to assist a customer, nothing. Ordered here quite a few times and more order was always perfect except one time. I ordered online and called to change the pepperoni to the old style. The gentleman never asked my name but said he would fix my order. I should've double checked however I didn't. My two pizzas came without the requested crust flavor and with the regular pepperonis. Also, my salad was missing. The driver offered to go get my salad and return. I called the store about the incorrect order and was offered replacements or credit. Again, this is the only time anything has ever been wrong. Love the flavor and it is one of the few places where the pizza is good reheated later or the next day. read more

I've been ordering pizza for the last two months, but NYE has been the worst experience ever. It took over two hours for delivery and I had to go up to the store because no one answered the phone. The best part was when I went up there the two employees were sitting down doing nothing, but they could not answer a phone call. We were very excited for a new pizza place and went to the opening. There was a lot of cheese! My kiddos love cheesy pizza. It was good and close and we agreed to definitely give it another try. A few months later we did just that. I looked up online ratings and ....meh. So we ordered on line, got the wrong pizza, returned pizza (because it was the kids), still tipped driver because it was raining, and ordered elsewhere. We called to say why we were returning and the proclaimed manager said they didn't have black olives but she would be happy to comp our next order. Ok. Called tonight and spoke with "owner" who basically called me a liar and said it would take 2 days for him to go through online orders to "verify" my order. I said forget it and hung up. Harrie (owner) called back in about 30 minutes and said he had found our order and while he "couldn't confirm what the manager had promised me, because she was on vacation" he would give me a Pizza. I had already made other arrangements....kids gotta eat. Poor customer service, don't have necessary ingredients, and lax leadership. read more

So we ordered two pizzas online - one with anchovies and one cheese. I tried to pay online but it kept timing out so I said to pay instore - didn't want to risk getting charged multiple times. My husband goes in to pick up and the order is wrong - they gave us a cheese pizza with anchovies on the side and the other cheese pizza. My husband asked that they remake it as ordered which per the order I asked for anchovies on the entire pizza (it gives you option of if you want it on half or whole etc.) This was around 350 pm. We eat and head to a basketball game around 730 around which time they start blowing up my husbands phone. Obviously he can't answer and we aren't trying to get out to answer the call....apparently we forgot t pay them- no fools you didn't charge us. Mind you the order was $18.39. After we got done with the game - we headed to the pizza place - around 930. When my husband went in to pay he was informed - oh good you came in because the manager was going to call the police!!! Are you kidding me????!!!! You screwed up my order - you forgot to charge me and now you want to call the cops over $18.39 - you obviously have no understanding of customer service and have a crappy expectation of mankind - sucks for you!
