Once our waiter came around to take our order, he automatically asked if all wanted the steak and eggs. Assumption correct! At $5.99, the steak and eggs were such a steal! We found this place when we were looking for cheap eats off the strip in Vegas. Their menu is huge so there's something for everyone. The meals are also quite large as well so if you're on a budget and you're looking for a filling meal, come to Marilyn's. It's tucked away in the Tuscan Hotel and Casino. My boyfriend changed his mind several times before deciding on a meal and the server didn't seem to mind. I ordered a fried chicken meal which was huge. I could barely finish it. His friend ordered a steak meal with shrimp and I think my boyfriend ordered the same. They have a super cheap pancake deal that is under three dollars. They also have daily specials. It's definitely a better choice than some expensive buffet on the strip. read more

We decided to have dinner out and had recently had a flyer delivered to our mailbox, but addressed to the former resident. It has a few specials listed and we decided to take advantage of them. I have been to this restaurant before and knew that it was within the Tuscany Hotel and Casino on Flamingo Road. You could easily pass it and write it off as another locals casino, but it is very nice inside. When we got to Marilyn's Cafe, we were seated right away and the menu looked good with many things to chose from, including some breakfast specials in the evening. I ordered the 10 oz prime rib medium and my wife ordered the patty melt. We also ordered two dinner salads with blue cheese dressing on the side. The salad was very fresh and it's amazing how little dressing you actually use when you order it on the side. The prime rib and patty melt came out in about 10 minutes and looked really good. The prime rib had lots of flavor and very tender. The patty melt was thick and cooked perfectly with lots of seasoning and flavor. We were both full after this so dessert was a no go, but maybe next time. I remember this place used to be 24 hours, but for now, Covid 19 has struck again and they close up at 8:00 pm. This is your run of the mill Vegas cafe, but my review today will be based on their Friday offerings. Because of Friday, it's Friyay, and that's because you can get Cr-cr-craaaazy with their all you can eat CRAB! Currently priced at $23.99 it includes two side dishes (mashed/baked/french fry potatoes, mac n cheese, fruit, veggies, etc). It's actually an impressive list of side items. Frankly, if you're there for the crab, like me, they just get in the way. My absolute favorite thing about their all you can eat crab is that it's served to you. That's right. NO BUFFET LINE!!! How awesome is that? They are steam crab legs, so buyer beware. In my opinion, they are outstanding. Much meatier than the Station Casino offerings, they are served with a little cut in the shell in them making them easy to break via hand. Almost all of them are juicy and not overcooked, which often happens at buffets. They even give you butter with a little candle under it doesn't harden. They must know that guys like me are in it for the long haul. Oh yeah, and you always get complimentary dinner rolls and corn bread. These are really good too - the dinner rolls are always warm and fresh. The corn bread is surprisingly good, sweet, very much like my Mom's corn bread. Make sure to ask for it! The one negative is that it can occasionally take a little while to get your crab refills. Because it's not a buffet line you have servers running around like crazy trying to keep up. They do the best they can, but often it' takes a good 4-5 minutes to get some additional crab. On a non-crab night their service is spot on, but I definitely give them some leeway given the demand they have on Friday nights. In my opinion, this is up there with the M buffet for best all-care-to-eat Crabbing, if not a slight notch above because of price point. Speaking of run-of-the-mill cafe's, they're kind of a thing of the past. I love the feel of older Vegas diners. Sadly they are all starting to disappear. We were staying at the Platinum hotel and needed a quick place for breakfast, so we decided to try Marilyn's. First of all, you need to walk through a large casino area to get to the cafe. The cigarette smell was not a good way to start breakfast. The seating area is okay, but pretty run-down. Our booth was comfortable though. The waitress was friendly enough. Everything on the menu is extremely affordable, especially considering it's Las Vegas. The unlimited pancakes option was pretty great and only $4. The pancakes were perfectly soft and fluffy. The french toast I ordered was not so good: too eggy and not enough flavor. Ended up just sharing the pancakes. You pay at the register, which was good considering we were in a rush. Total for four people was less than $30. There are definitely better places on the Strip. We would not come here again, but it was okay for such a cheap price. read more

She checked in with us once and assured us that our order was coming out despite waiting about 40ish minutes for 4 orders of steak and eggs. She then came out with a basket of delicious cornbread for us to eat while we waited, which was a first for me! Amazing service, props to this lady who took her customer service seriously.
