Pepperoni and sausage pizza. Is there any other pizza to order at Marion's?
    Dan S.

Marion's is an old school Dayton staple square cut thin crust pizza. We went with a large group had a fun time and everyone enjoyed the pizza. It is always a fun time for a group. The pizza is as it has always been which is a good thing. Although these days they don't count out each paper plate like when Marion was around

Visiting Marion's is like stepping back in time to a pizza parlor from the 80's. This location is at the southwest corner of Shroyer & Patterson. We drove past it the first time because the larger of the two entrances is actually on the back side. The inside of this location is massive, with three separate dining areas. They have 9" or 13" pizzas, along with a few sandwiches, salads, and pastas. We ordered take out and got a 9" deluxe, 9" pepperoni and banana pepper and cheesy garlic bread. I was intrigued to see they actually sell beer by the 6-pack, and various other beverages out of a convenience store style refrigerator. Oh, and they have draft beer -- $10 domestic pitchers at that! The pizza was good, it's thin crust like a typical Columbus style pizza (it's a thing, I swear!). The slices were very small, basically bite sized. That said, a single 9" pizza was good for two servings. We also tried the cheesy garlic bread, but weren't huge fans. It was pretty soggy and the cheese had somewhat of a plastic taste to it. Overall, we enjoyed the pizza and plan on trying Marion's again. I'd be interested in giving their sandwiches and pasta a try as well.

I hadn't been to the Shroyer Marion's in probably a good 20 years. Don't plan on going back after this salad!

Two large. One supreme, one just pep. They were both amazing. Could not stop eating.

Everyone I asked in town says if you want to know Dayton Pizza try this place. I did not disappoint. Cracker like thin crust and flavorful red sauce. Plenty of toppings. The thing that makes it so different is the way it's sliced. You can't stop eating cause you just want another little bite. The sausage was different than I've ever had. Overall it was good. Old school 80s style decor inside.

We got half mushroom and half Marion's Deluxe pizza. They are known for their special thin crust, which was very good. The special pizza was good, but the mushrooms are not fresh, possibly canned. The service staff is very friendly and helpful. The pictures of famous celebrities on the wall from the past decades were fantastic!

Like a Totino's party pizza, but fresh. It was delicious! We called one in and drove there, only took 10 more minutes and it was ready.

Tried the new restaurant in Mason, Ohio. It was awful and we will not be eating there again. We had to throw the pizza away.

Awesome pizza. It's a Dayton original and a landmark. If you're looking for Chicago or New York style, you're in the wrong place.

Do they still have the games for the kids?

Marion's has an arcade game room filled with electronic games and pinball machines. I believe each Marion store is so furnished.

If you are running a pizza buffet, imo, you should always have at least one each of cheese and pepperoni pizzas in the queue coming out of the oven at all times. I would definitely eat here again. I would probably skip the buffet only because it's a little painful. Then again I'm basically reviewing this one visit I had and maybe it's not normally like that. And even this one visit was pretty good. The people at the counter were extremely helpful and friendly. I revised my review as far as stars go because it really is a good place.

That's not necessarily a bad thing unless you want to share a pizza with your spouse. Then you're back to building your own or ordering two small specialty pizzas. Now, the good part. The pizzas are delicious. I come from NY and Pizza Dive's NY style pizza is pretty darn good. Their servers are friendly college age kids. It's the new location that Pizza Dive did it right. It's open, well lit, modern, with plenty of seating. I certainly wish them and hope to visit them often. Just remember, it's NY pizza done fight. Suggestion - tech the pizza makers how to hand toss the pizzas.
