Thought I'd give this little restaurant a try. The family and I ordered all different menu items and I must say I wasn't too impressed. We had ordered the garlic shrimp, shrimp tacos and fish tacos. The fish tacos were pretty decent, and the green sauce on the tacos was good however the shrimps for both the tacos and the garlic shrimp were over cooked. The shrimp were so over done it didn't have a fresh taste but more of a rubbery tough texture and burnt taste. The rice and beans were good. I'm willing to give this place another try, it might have been a bad day for them. I will update my review on my next visit. read more

1st time here. We usually go to thebone in Downey & I think we will keep it that way. There waan't too much variety on food. I was looking forward to eating some Langostinos. Apparently they dont have them at this location. So I settled for the baked salmon roll. Eh it filled me up. Hubby ordered some oysters wow they were so tiny, not worth it. Waitress & manager were very attentive. We got our receipt my husband was going to pay and I see almost $200. What. I take a closer look. We were being charged extra food. I kindly let the waitress know, this is not our ticket. She takes it comes back and says. "It is your ticket I just hadnt cleared the tables ticket before you" wtf then its not our ticket. Everything is so flavorful. Monique was our server and she was the best/sweetest we love her! She made our experience really great. she made us feel warmly welcomed and she was incredibly helpful with the menu as non spanish speakers. she gave us info on spice levels and recommendations on the menu. They have a lot of options and offer a variety of food, so there is something for everyone to enjoy. The food came out pretty quick too, so that was nice. They have a small parking lot, but we were able to find parking just fine during lunch. They played upbeat music and it was over all a great vibes for our lunch experience. I brought my puppy and we were seated at the outdoor patio, so doggies are allowed outside. I found this place via Instagram. They advertised a molcajete that included bone marrow alongside the other fixings which included bacon wrapped shrimp, tender new York steak, queso fresco, chorizo, cactus (nopales), grilled chicken served with some house chile. We had to try the prepared oysters with ceviche on top. Of course I tried the michelada with cerveza Pacifico. Everything was delicious. I stumbled upon this Mexican style seafood eatery. It's not fancy but loved their Negro Aguachili. Very different flavor from the traditional green one which they also serve. The place itself is small and modest with limited seating and the interior a bit warm, but who cares! The seafood is fresh! Much to my surprise they have sushi aside from the traditional seafood cocktails, tostadas, tacos, seafood and meat. They have a few mix drinks which were pretty good. But the best thing was their friendly service. That aside from the good seafood makes it worth a visit. Parking is difficult to find and it's not a fancy place, but I don't care. I'll definitely go back again and again! There is a wait due to its size, but again I don't care. Their food and friendly service make up for it.
