Second time here, the first time was the same week they opened and honestly I wasn't a fan but that was years ago. Came back again and I enjoyed everything! We ordered sushi rolls and it is more expensive than other places we have been to. We ordered Chicharron de pescado ( deep fried fish chunks) I don't recall the sushi roll names but they all had cooked shrimp. Drinks were so refreshing! Michelada, limonada preparada and ice tea. How? How the hell have I avoided this spot for so long and not been schooled on the awesomeness? Ordered a burrito de pescado for my husband, and a tostada de jaiba for me - and we shared the socrates roll. My husband said it was one of the best burritos he's ever had, and even though all my stuff was spicy, it was so good I couldn't stop eating! I will be back, a lot. read more

5 stars for customer service. Very friendly staff ! Kept checking up on us every other while. We got seated right away. 2 stars for taste of food , Aguachiles were slimy and completely raw, and yes I know aguachiles get cooked in lemon juice , they have to sit for a few minutes, too slimy I got grossed out. breaded shrimp was bland , had no seasoning whatsoever, a pinch of salt and pepper would've made all the difference. Michelada was ehh, nothing special , just a beer with Clamato. 1 star for presentation of food. What's up with the presentation of the Aguachiles , I didn't really understand the onions cut up so thick and the cucumbers cut all weird lol After that, didn't want to order more food. I had two tacos gobernador which were quite tasty! No complaints there. I also got aguachiles, which I was most excited for, and I was thoroughly disappointed. Lacked any and all flavor, no spice whatsoever and they didn't include ANY avocado. Will absolutely not be getting aguachiles here again.
