Placed a order via Grubhub and this place completely screwed up the order. I asked for cooked shrimp on my ceviche and they put raw shrimp. Very simple thing to do is look at the order and make it as the customer asked. I called the restaurant and they acknowledged the mistake but told me I now needed to drive to the restaurant and pick up the correct order even when I already paid Grubhub to do the pick up and delivery. I get to the restaurant and had me wait another 25 minutes for them to actually make the order. Plus on top of that the restaurant charged me extra for "cooked shrimp". Like most people on here say the customer services is horrible. I wouldn't recommend this place. read more

Horrible service !!! I went today with my family and they were so horrible treated. servers didn't care to much about how we felt practically said to just suck it up. The food wasn't good and they take sooooo long to come to the table. They don't check up to see if everything is okay or if anything is missing. Had to ask for lemons three times before i got them and they didn't get any of the drinks correctly one of the plates wasn't cooked right and we asked if they could change it and the server said there was nothing she could do and tried to convince my cousin to eat it with salsa to make it "better" because if you eat it alone it doesn't taste good. Food was okay. Service was horrible. I went on a karaoke night unintentionally. The music was beyond tolerable, I asked 3 different employees to have the guy controlling the karaoke to lower the vocals a tad - not because the singing was bad, it was actually pretty good. The associates argued that they had already told the guy rather than trying to satisfy their customers needs. This place has good food if only the service was as good as the food. Waited 15 minutes to take our drink orders another 15 for food and after we received our food it took 40 minutes for a check and that was due to us going up to the desk to ask for the bill. I placed an order to go and told them I needed it by 12 and I got there right at 12 and my order was hot and ready to go. The waitress that helped me was helpful and friendly, reading reviews before had me thinking when I walk in they were just going to be on there phones or just ignore me. The langostinos were delicious and I wanted more. The ceviche de pescado was fresh and full of flavor. The empanadas couldn't have been any better. The chips and salsa were made in house and to die for. I will definitely be back. read more

Even though the food was not good I'm giving two stars because the waitress was very pleasant. My husband had the Mojarra Frita, the plate came with a salad and white rice. It was very bland the only thing with a bit of flavor was the rice. I had the large shrimp cocktail. I was very disappointed with my meal, the shrimp were extremely tender to the point that they were falling apart. They didn't have any flavor at all, and the sauce it came in was really watered down. I had to add a lot of ketchup and tapatio along with lime juice, and then would have to add even more tapatio to every bite to give it a bit of flavor. The saltine crackers that my cocktail was served with were very stale. Definitely not a place I would come back to. read more

Worst service ever. Took more than 10 minutes to order our drinks. They didn't even write down the order they verbally took an order and assumed they would get the order right. Well guess what they were wrong. They missed one of the main plates we ordered. They took 15 minutes to come back to realize that they were missing one of the plates we ordered. Even then they did not respectfully say "I'm sorry" they said "we never ordered it" well that's why because if they would of properly took an order and wrote it down this would have never happened. They took 30 minutes after we were done eating to come around and ask if we were done eating and if we needed anything or if we were ready for the check. Please don't waist your time coming here this is not the first time this happens to us but it is the last time we will go. read more

To go order ...........I recommend the agua chiles good taste and they remove the tail on the shrimp it's very clean and they are very good when it comes to giving all necessary things to go. The shrimp tostada is very well served but we weren't fans of the cucaracha shrimp it's over cooked and the taste didn't seem that great. It's definitely good for the basics. Great food but service is terrible. First time I went the waitress was bad. It wasn't busy at all. Didn't check to see if we needed refills or anything else. Second time I went my girlfriend and I walked out after waiting 25 min to get our order taken. This was in the afternoon and there was only another table of people in the place. Tried this place out for the first time and I think its going to be one of my favorite places to go. Love the chips and salsa and ceviche they serve you when you first sit down. The Micheladas are the Best! I got Shrimp Tostadas that was really good. My husband got Shrimp wrapped in Bacon with melted Cheese on top with some dipping sauce. I intially came out to corona to try a differant mariscos place but it was way too packed.So I searched for ones near by and this one popped up.I thought "hey how bad could it be?" I got there and waited to be seated and waited and waited.Nobody even botherd to look my way and ask how many in my party.So I took it upon myself and sat down with my party.I ordered a shrimp cocktail and my sister a mixta tostada.When the food arrived, my shrimp cocktail was warm and tasted like soup.Shrimp cocktails are supposed to be cold, my sisters mixta tostada was all jiva and one shrimp.Thats not a mixta tostada, I cant even get started on the service.We basically were tended to once and thats it.I never seen the waitress the rest of our visit.I will never come back to this place.Ever!!! read more

Love this lil gem of a marisco place on 6th st! Ceviche de pescado has my heart! Longostinos & micheladas are perfect! Just a warning the ceviche de camaron is really raw! I mean like gray, just de shelled, shrimp raw! I'm a girl that likes her ceviche shrimp to be cooked in lime juice for hours. But if you don't mind that, by all means!
