I decided to give this place a try this weekend and although I wouldn't necessarily say that I disliked it, I wouldn't recommend it. Finding parking is the first obstacle since it's located in a small strip mall with limited parking space. The lady who took our order was really nice but don't expect to be waited on because it's not that kind of place. Regarding the food - I had the shrimp ceviche and the haiva - both were just ok. My sister and her boyfriend had been hyping this place up, but after tasting the fish tacos and a small cocktel de camaron...I was NOT impressed. On the contrary, I was disappointed. This is a hole in the wall restaurant that was crowded with people when I decided to come here for Sunday lunch with the boyfriend. I read that their ceviche was famous and I decided to get the shrimp ceviche and octopus quesadilla. It is pretty cheap, the food was BOMB. It was crowded but we got our food pretty quick. I should have gotten the mojarra frita but I wanted to try the octopus quesadilla. The octopus quesadilla was okay but I thought their ceviche was really good. Pretty good spot with pretty good food at pretty good prices. This restaurant is kinda hidden and wouldn't be somewhere you stumble upon. You would only really go here if someone told you about it. But that is why I am here to tell you all! I was looking for somewhere to eat seafood with my cousin, when he let me know of this place. When we got there, I asked for their 2 fish taco + drink for about $5 dollars. I was expecting the tacos to be small so I ordered some of their ceviche marinero (assorted seafood ceviche) as an appetizer, but when the tacos were given to me they were surprisingly large. They were between fried/grilled with a delicious salsa/crema topping. This meal alone filled me up but the appetizer was so good also that I had to finish that as well. The actual facility isn't that fancy though. A couple of tables in a small room which leaves you little space to move around is the only negative I can give. Looks like your typical mariscos/carniceria marketa with some tables on the side so this isn't the ideal place for a romantic outing but if you are looking for a place to kick back and relax while eating some fresh food, this is as good as it gets. read more

Hands down this is probably the best seafood place around this area. I know for a fact this is the best place for me and my family to eat. I come here often because I work around the area and after work I love to enjoy something very worth it. They are very good fresh fast and friendly. They have amazing seafood soup. Fresh seafood stuff obviously lol. I love this place and they have never failed or disappointed us. I've drove one hour and 30 minutes just to come here one day and enjoy the food outside of work with my family. Regardless of the inconvenience that it's cash only and that its a small place I still give it 5 stars. Would give it 100 stars if I could. The owners and people that work here are super friendly. The best part is the food, try authentic Mexican style seafood. I've been coming a few years and each time i come it's like the first time coming, the food is so delicious and so fresh. I can't get over of how amazing it taste. The fish tacos are my favorite, they're not your typical baja style that everyone seems to rave over. Just like most of the reviews say, this place is THE SPOT if you want good aguachiles. I tried a little bit of everything today and it was all at least 4 out of 5 stars for taste and portion. The shrimp quesadilla is loaded with nicely seasoned grilled shrimp and cheese and is delicious. The scallop ceviche was good but out of everything I tried was my least favorite thing. The mixed tostada was very delicious and had a nice variety of seafood, recommended for sure. I had a campechana cocktail as well and it was the best one I remember having anywhere, definitely recommend it. It had lots of mixed fresh seafood, avocado and the liquid is quite delicious. I tried the seafood soup as well and it was also very good. Heaped with mixed seafood in a delicious broth, this was a very good hot soup. Out of everything I ate today though, the aguachiles was the star of the show. We ordered the spicy version and it was as spicy as I would like, but no more. Probably too spicy for most people, so get the mild or medium unless you like very spicy food. The flavor of it is amazing! Super intense citrus flavor and the fresh herbs make for such a great flavor bomb you won't believe it. Loaded with fresh shrimp, avocado, onions and cucumbers in the delicious sauce. Best thing I have eaten in a long while and I will be back for more! Big thanks to the other Yelpers out there that reviewed this place and got the word out! Decided to give this small restaurant a try. I brought my daughter who is a seafood lover. We both had three tostadas each. All were topped with various seafood civiches. We also shared a dozen oysters on the half shell. Neither of us expected to be served tostadas that were piled high with some of the best civiche I have ever experienced. Hands down the best seafood I've ever had, and I've had my fair share. I was indecisive when ordering, as everything looked delicious and fresh. They offer a wide variety of ceviches, some that I had not seen offered anywhere else. I ended up ordering a calamari tostada and a 7 mares, and both were excellent. Now let's talk about the service, our food was made to order and totally worth the wait. The owners kindly offered to pack our left overs to go, and even gave us a little extra. I do have to say, however, that if you're looking for a nice dining experience, this is not the place. The decor is old and outdated, and just not pretty to look at. It had a lot of shrimp and it was spicy. If your not a person that can handle spicy food, I don't recommend the extra hot one. They do offer mild, hot and extra hot. I also ordered a Quesadilla de camaron and it was so pack with shrimp and flavor. It reminded me of BC. I was in heaven. My co-worker tried the shrimp tacos and she was not that big fan. Maybe because it was take out by the time she got it they were cold. She also ordered Oysters and she did mentioned me they were not fresh. So there you have it I love my food and my co-worker had a bad experience. Maybe she might just selected some items in the menu that were not all that. I've been to other places and they cut up the shrimp and add veggies to their quesadillas, this one was just shrimp and tasty cheese like it should be! the ceviche comes in different sizes I ordered a small which is a good portion and just $4. The shrimp and fish ceviche where amazing. Veggie to shrimp, fish ratio was on point. The mixed ceviche was good but just wasn't my thing had octopus, squid, shrimp and some other stuff in there.
