Brought my car into the service department on a Saturday, because 2 service message lights were on. Below is a review for the service department only-not the dealership. I was recommended 3 services-I DID NOT NEED- because I had just had one of them done and the other 2 checked, in front of me, a week before somewhere else before taking a small road trip. When I questioned the writer as to the accuracy of the technician's recommendations since I just had it all done/checked the week before, he said "I'm not sure. That's just what he recommended." That's a pretty flimsy "reason" for services totally over $500 dollars. Keep in mind when I talked to the service writer, this was me seeking him out after 2 hours of waiting to see if my car was going to be fixed for the service warnings I brought it in for and additional maintenance services were the first things mentioned to me, second was that what I came in for could not be fixed until Monday. FYI: When I checked out (on Monday), the paperwork was altered with a reason and it said recommended based on "mileage" so that means they weren't even checked-(plus the transmission service that I was recommended with reason-I have only 42000 miles-was not listed on the final check out paperwork.) In regards to why I brought my car in (service light/messages were on-I didn't "claim" they were on as the standard language of the check/in paperwork suggests -which is pretty condescending to customers) I asked to see the extended warranty "handbook/description" to see if the part I "needed" would be covered when I came back on Monday, (since nobody could answer that question) and I was told it's "pretty confusing." I have a degree in English, pretty sure I could have figured it out. Manager, Frank, came into the lobby and gave us all his card and donuts, I called with a simple request "Could he get something out of my car that was back in a stall?" Did he help me? No, he told me to go find my writer, who wasn't there, so my only option was to see the manager on duty, Jeff, who had already told me the thing I wanted to read was "pretty confusing" instead of going to get me a copy. Against my better judgement I brought my car back for the part it needed on Monday at 7am (after reading the paperwork from my car and finding out very easily that the part would be covered) and when I called to see when it would be finished (around 1pm because I had not heard anything about my vehicle since 7am) I was on hold for 22 minutes, only to be told it had "...been ready to go, Nobody called you?" by the service writer (different writer than from Saturday). read more

I don't leave reviews, like ever. I reward good businesses with repeat visits and rarely do I get such horrible service that I have to say something about it. I would give 0 Stars if I could. I won't go into tons of details here because in the end this isn't about us getting what we wanted, but rather how we were treated once our purchase was finalized. The floor mats that were with our vehicle during the test drive were missing after we took the vehicle home(except for the drivers floor mat). Floor mats for the car (a 2019 Suburban) are only about $100, which is a small extra expense for a vehicle like this. We have since made this purchase on our own. The complaint is the horrible lack of customer service and failing to follow through on simple commitments of keeping communication with us while trying to resolve this. We were constantly told someone would call us back and they didn't. Our most recent attempts to contact Mark Christopher have gone completely ignored. Why does it take more than a Month to either locate missing floor mats or just buy new ones? And why can't people simply call you back and keep you updated? Of course during the sales process we were treated like gold. Afterwards? Like we don't f$@&*%# matter. They made their $$$, and now they don't care. Over $100 floor mats? Almost 0 communication. No integrity. Poor character. Awful customer service. You lost a customer for life over a situation with $100 floor mats that you refused to resolve. I would have been MUCH happier if you just told us from the beginning that the floor mats weren't ours, they don't come with pre owned vehicles and we just had to buy them ourselves. At least then we could have saved time and energy constantly chasing you to give us an update. SO BUYER BEWARE. Get EVERYTHING you want for your new purchase before you sign anything and leave their lot because once a sale is finalized this place doesn't care about you. read more

Our Cadillac Escalade had the dreaded check engine light and abs, as we were going to the dr . In Loma Linda. After the dr appointment we gingerly drove to Mark Christopher Cadillac, and as it was 4:30 in the afternoon we had to leave the car for the weekend. Avo, our service advisor assured us that they would get on the vehicle asap. To no fault of their own it was several days before Christmas and they were closing from the 23rd to the 27th. When they came back from Christmas it was discovered that the engine cam gear had self destructed so the engine was toast. Avi went out of his way to procure a new engine for the car and first week of February we had our car back and it was great. read more

I was getting a repair using my extended warranty and I basically had to do everything from communicating with them and relying the message back to my rep at Mark Christopher. That person who handled my repair needs better training. I literally had to call Simpson GMC make sure the car gets released so mark christopher can work on it they email the release my rep Leslie is saying it's they haven't released it so I call Simpson mad saying why haven't they sent the release they show me proof of a email they sent releasing it now I look dumb. Now I tell them my car has a check engine light going on and off they check that it was just my truck needing an update they charge me $225 for the diagnostics to find out my truck needs a update ! My truck was there couple weeks before for an oil change why didn't they update it then? Then they call me to tell me my truck is ready to be picked up and that there's now a extra charge of $200 more because my extended warranty only covers $200 a hour of labor cost a hour and they charge $225 and sorry we didn't know. So I myself email century who is my extended warranty provider and they adjust it for me on the first call. My rep didn't even attempt any of this. So I send my rep proof of email that it's being adjusted and she will be contacted by them and they contact her that same day at 9:40 am and misses it. And she's texting me that it hasn't got approved so now I'm calling them again trying to see what's happening doing her job. She's asking me who should she call like I work there. The contact was literally on the bottom of the email. The girl that worked at Mark Chistopher name is Leslie. I'm going today to trade in my GMC and I will never buy one again due to this Experience. And Leslie not once ever try to be helpful she had this "it is what it is" attitude never once offering to talk to a manager or go out of her way to figure out the issue I had, I literally had to do everything read more

Brought in a 2016 gmc terrain for service, have only 49500 miles, needed an oils change, transmission service and the all wheel drive front and rear differential serviced. $830.00 for the service, the next day after service was driving home and the transmission was slightly jerking, I took the suv back to the dealership same day, now they are saying my torque converter is bad, they want $4300 to repair, this was the first time the transmission has ever been serviced and it was at the recommended time in the owners manual, so I declined service and took to a independent mechanic, transmission was a quart low. Also they charged me for 16 quarts of transmission oil and the vehicle takes 10. This dealer doesn't stand behind there work, no loaner cars no courtesy shuttle, when they make a mistake. read more

I bought my first car in 2012 from them. It was a 2012 chevy cruise base model in black. After doing thorough research I decided to come here to buy the car. As with any dealership theres sales people lounging around "eager" to help people buy a car. My guy jaison? Or Jason was really nice, helpful and friendly. I told him I wanted to test drive a new Chevy cruze base model and he let us test drive multiple cars giving us information about each one. They had a seperate lot at the time with so many selections to choose from in a variety of colors. We were able to even take it on the freeway to test its acceleration. When we decided to go with this particular cruze the negotiating part wasen't painful at all. They played ball and we got a great deal on the car with a low APR. We were satisfied with it. The financing dept next handled us quickly and efficiently and we were out the door with my new car in no time!!! (Unlike BMW of Monrovia, SMH) Over the years I've had multiple oil changes here and they have a nice little waiting area to wait for your vehicle to be serviced. Depending on how busy or what day you went, it took anywhere from 30 min to 2 hrs. This is a great dealership to buy your chevy from. HORRIBLE!!! My hubby found a vehicle from this dealership. It took some negotiation, but he got he price he wanted. He got paperwork to get a loan from our bank. He drove out to test drive the vehicle and all seemed fine. Then our bank sent the check directly to them for payment IN FULL, and the dealership confirmed receipt on Wed or Thurs. We were going to go the following Saturday to pick up the van. On the Friday before, the salesman called my husband and told him that the vehicle he was about to pick up was sold! WTH! How is this good business to have a deal completely arranged with check in hand and then sell the vehicle to someone else? To pull the rug out right at the end? Not to mention the COLOSSAL waste of time on everyone's part. Did that salesman have that much time to waste jerkin' my hubby around? Thankfully, they did not cash the check so it was voided. I've never seen such shady practices from an auto salesman. I would never recommend this place, an in fact, I will tell EVERYONE I know never to go here. At least, the other dealership we went to was honest. They were up front that they weren't going to push, nor were they going to go down on the price. I RESPECT that. That place was Connell Chevrolet. Go there. At a minimum, you won't have the rug pulled from under your feet as your standing on it to sign the contract. read more

Purchased a brand new 2024 GMC 3500 from these guys due to the no dealer markup I flew from Northern California just to get it from them. Everything was great. Process was smooth drove home, put 300 miles on the vehicle and the check engine light goes went off. Vehicle gets towed to gmc up in Northern California. 27days later I still have no vehicle. Ubers adding up. Got offered no rental nothing. $117k for owning it less than a month. Reached out to Mark Cristopher, who sold me the truck and advised them of the situation. I texted and called the salesman that sold me The vehicle still to this day has not responded to me 20 days later. I then reached out to a manager Lloyd spoke to him on a Friday. Today is a Thursday was supposed to get a call back on Monday. Still no phone call no nothing. I've called him twice and left voicemails. Still nothing. I will have to be contacting a lemon law lawyer at this point this is too high of a purchase for such horrible customer service. read more
