I made an appointment for a basic oil change and tire rotation, since the GMC, Buick, Cadillac service center I usually go to is a bit far after my move. I showed up about 10 minutes early for the appointment and waited over 2 hours for the service. When I got my car back, I noticed it was not washed as my last service center would have done. I asked if it was maybe an oversight, and was told they only do curtesy washes for Cadillacs, not Buicks. Plus the price for service was almost double what my last service center would have charged. In the future, I will drive the extra distance instead of going back to this location. read more

Arrived on time for my 8am apt (Recall). Was told the wait was roughly 2hrs, agreed and waited. After numerous inquiry for updates, on the 3rd hour i see my vehicle barely being driven into the shop after i was told by Eric it is already being tended to this whole time. I waited and wasted 3 hrs of my time for no reason bec the process was completed in roughly 20mins from the time they actually went to go work on my truck. Terrible experience.. They way they conduct themselves during the purchasing process is disappointing to say the least. They treated me as if I were stupid essentially. Every time I would request information or hard numbers they would revert to discussing payment amounts. Your trying to sell me multiple products (gap, extended warranty, other extras) what is the damn price?! Why do you keep discussing payment?! Once we have a total amount.. the payment amount will be what it is. Additionally, although this tactic my be legal it is immoral and potentially a huge waste of time.. this part infuriated me.. once your are finally presented with some final numbers to look at.. you'll notice they tack on an "aftermarket" charge to your final sale.. this amount is additional to your already pre-negotiated and agreed upon price!! What the heck!!? Yes so essentially they charge you extras ( in my case it was some GPS crap, supposedly ) and never bothered to mention it prior.. like at all! WTH! This should be illegal but unfortunately it's not. The fact they do this.. and more importantly they way they do it is extremely upsetting, it's very deceiving. I had them remove this charge and i purchased the vehicle still.. but honestly I should have walked away from this deal. I will never consider purchasing a vehicle from mark christopher again. Brought the car in to be fixed. Repair side of the business was supposed to have a car waiting for my as a loner while my car is in the shop. The keys were nowhere to be found. However. Even so we had to wait an hour and a half to be issued a new loner, the sales side of the business could have just told us to come back. GERALD worked his butt off to find us another rental so we had a car to drive. He is an incredible employee and dealt with a mess that wasn't his to deal with. He saved our entire experience. First off I'd like to say that Commercial Sales Manager Frank Villalobos is an outstanding asset to the Mark Christopher Auto team. Frank has assisted our business and myself in my personal capacity in numerous GM vehicle purchases over the last few years. Just yesterday, we purchased another new vehicle from Frank, and as always he made the process smooth and seamless. I have come back to Mark Christopher Auto center despite their other shortcomings as of late these last few years solely to deal with him, and as such refuse to deal with any other sales person on the lot. Frank has always been clear, concise, and professional. He always returns calls, and helps handle any issues that have come up with the body up-fitters or even with the service department over the years. Mark Christopher would be better served to bring in more individuals with Frank's product knowledge and willingness to go the extra mile to close a deal. As such, I have gladly recommended Mark Christopher auto center via frank to numerous other businesses, several of which are now happy customers of his as well. I hope management takes note of this review (Cagey, Lloyd, Rizzy, Etc) and gives credit where credit is due as there are some real winners at the dealer (Frank V., Ray Peters in service, Matt Torres in service) and they would be better served and could bring the dealer up a notch if they had more people helping them with their same attitude. read more

I have been attempting to reach Cadillac service at this location all day and even left a voice mail message as well as a message with the operator and when i didn't receive a call back for several hours called again and was told by a giggling operator everyone was at lunch that she was sure I'd receive a call back after. Tried again and was told line was busy. Last time I called, Operator attempted to transfer me but was again told that the line was busy. When I explained that it was hard for me to believe the line is busy each time I've called,, she replied in a scolding manner to be patient as she would connect me with the Chevrolet service since only one service ctr that was open today. No apologies for not hearing from anyone or being unable to reach anyone??? I wish I had been told only one service are was open earlier! And isn't it at least common courtesy to inform a caller regarding the delay? Since they aren't able to return a phone call or at least have the operator make me feel like a valued customer They missed an opportunity to earn my future business! So my husband and I have been looking for an SUV and wanted to look at a Denali and the Escalade. We get to the dealership and before we got our daughter out of the car seat we were approached by Caesar. He asked if we needed help and we told him what we were looking to see a Yukon or a Denali. He tried to look for one but was back before we got our 1 year old out of her car seat. He said they didn't have any. Even though there was a Yukon on the lot. I asked really you have nothing? Not even inside? Now before I continue, I know there is a shortage of cars and we are in no rush and we are willing to wait. We just want to get something we love and want to narrow our choices before we commit. He proceeded to tell us they are low on cars and are sold out of anything. My husband asked him even inside? I had seen the Yukon outside and was turned off by him because he seemed to not want to help us. Just turn us away or get us in the waiting list. We told him we didn't want to be out in a wait list we don't know if we would even like the car... then I said to my husband " let's go see the Escalade then." Which Caesar quickly responded and said we don't have any of those either. At this point we were dumbfounded because there was 3 if not 4 Escalades on the lot. THIS IS SPECIFICALLY DIRECTED AT THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT. My truck was drooped off for a front a axel seal that would have taken my mechanic an hour to fix. My truck is still under factory warranty, and I had it less than a month when it was dropped off. I was lied to by the service manager Juan over and over again. "Its the next vehicle up for diagnostic" then was told from someone else that they are looking at it now. After it sat for 3 days they finally looked at it and determined it needed a seal which they did not have. They ordered the seal and said once they had it, it could be installed same day and I could pick up my truck. Followed up on the day they said it would be fixed and of course was met with another excuse. "We will work on it tomorrow and it should be done the same day." Well that day came and went and it still is not done. Then a new timeline, "It will be done tomorrow morning" sure enough that morning came and went and no call nothing. I called to follow up and was told by Juan that he would check on it. No call back nothing. Picked it up after a week and a half! Less than a month later and the same axel is leaking again!!!!! Mr. Leggio you have got to do something with your service department. They are giving your business a bad name. I have talked to numerous people including my employer who purchases fleet vehicles from you and they all say the same thing about the service department. You are loosing loyal customers to a mis-managed service department. I will never take a vehicle back to Mark Christopher for service ever again and I will be sure to share my experience with anyone that will listen. Very disappointing. read more

I can't say this place was good or bad. What I can tell you is about my experience. I brought my vehicle to this location to get a quote for the transmission. They said there would be a cost to examine the vehicle however, any money given to them would be applied to the coast of the repair, which I felt was fair. When I arrived for my appointment I quickly learned they are short staffed as the Cadillac service area was closed. I was directed about 100 yards east to the Chevrolet Service area. I had to wait for an unreasonable amount of time. There was quite a line of cars waiting to be checked in, but the wait for having an appointment time was definitely longer than expected due to their staffing issues. I was greeted by nice employees, but you needed to initiate contact, otherwise, they are very busy trying to attend to customers as quickly as they can. I was asked to leave my vehicle for the estimate. The vehicle was kept overnight, but available the next day. The estimate was a bit more than a non dealer quoted me so I chose to take it elsewhere. As a Cadillac owner I have a much higher expectation of quality customer service and unfortunately this place seems to try, but is not capable of meeting higher standards. I am a previous Mercedes owner and the quality of service they give to their customer service was very high. So I guess my expectations were much higher. I don't mean to sound like a snob, but I also own a Ford vehicle and I take it to the Ford dealership and even the quality of customer service is much higher at that location. Mark Christopher's quality of service can be much higher if they invested on customer service 101, but it seems they may be cutting corners just to meet the demand of their customers. read more

They have had the car for 10 days after I paid for, I won't see it for another (who knows when) they continue to give me excuses on something that should have been taken care of the day I paid for it. I asked them to delivery the vehicle to me because they demanded I pay them the price for the car the day I was there so I did, now they're expecting me to pay for an Uber for the driver to deliver the van. What is the point of having an appointment? I took my car in Tuesday morning with an appointment and it didn't get seen until the next day. It wasn't finished until the end of that next day. Cars without appointments got seen just because they were in line early; however, this defeats the purpose of having an appointment. So hire more techs, take care of your appointments FIRST and walk ins last. Better yet, because you have a depleted staff you should be by appointment ONLY! Control the chaos! Even barbershops have this successful business model of 99% appointments, 1% walk ins (if they're able to squeeze them in due to cancellations). BARBERSHOPS! C'mon People! Avo did great by the way considering he didn't have the amount of staff he used to. He communicated the whole time, was accessible, and friendly. So give Avo a raise to keep him from leaving, hire more staff, and do an appointment only model for now because when you aren't even open on the weekends for service you are going to get a lot of people angry if they have to miss work due to service. One last thing. It wouldn't be so bad if you had LOANER cars available. read more

I requested to see the Traverse which they showed me. I explained what I needed which was a bucket style seating and the customer rep try to tell me I needed to bench seating which is not what I want. I left very pressured and was told they would call me when they have more available. I was upset that they did not let me test drive. After we left Riverside we decided to head to Ontario for better service which is where we meet Norman Edwards who gave me a great experience!!
