I called on a Monday for a Friday appointment to have my check engine light code read. My vehicle is still under warranty. I asked for the first appointment in the morning so I could bring the car in before work. They told me the early appointments were taken and the best they could do was 8:30 am. I brought the car at that time and had to wait 30 minutes in a long line of cars before anyone took my vehicle. By the end of the day, they still had not looked at my car to see what was causing the check engine light to go on. They let me know they needed to keep the car until Monday because no one had gotten to it. I went all weekend without a car, and then got a call at noon on Monday saying car was ready, there's nothing wrong it. I asked if they could wash the vehicle for me because they kept it all weekend, so I wasn't able to take it to the car wash. They told me "We aren't doing washes." Very dissatisfied customer. I purchased a CPO vehicle from MC Chevy, put 5k miles on it in just a few months and had to buy a new battery. There is no way the battery was good when they sold the vehicle to me. Then after i buy the battery from a Chevy dealer closer to my house (delillo) i had to return to that dealer TWICE for the same reason A BATTERY!! It cost me time ( over a week accumulated) i could not use my vehicle for work (uber/lyft driver), plus the "liability cost" of the rental vehicle so i am not liable for any damages to the rental. I called the service manager at MC chevy and was told he would talk to the used car mgr. I have not heard back. All i wanted was to be reimbursed for the battery. I believe its not to much to ask for? After all, they sold me this vehicle which cost me extra time (money into my pocket) and money out of pocket. If they decide to compensate me i will update this review. *1/25/17 update* ... check was mailed to my house for the value of the battery I purchased at the dealer after sending receipts into service manager Jeff R. Had my Cadillac towed on February 4, just received my vehicle back on February 19. The most pleasant experience of this whole encounter was when my car was being towed and when I was being shuttled to get a rental car. I have never been treated so poorly. The customer service was bad, they were inconsiderate of my time. I had to file a claim through my car insurance and they would not work on my car until they received approval from the insurance. Emails were sent but they claimed they never received them. They would have IT look into the issue. Not one time did they give me an alternative resolution. Called me to tell me my car was ready but when I arrived, there were still issues. Very disappointed with the service, inconsideration, lack of communication skills and professionalism towards their valued customers. Not taking my car back to them. read more

This review is only for my Phone experience with them, which is deplorable! I got a message on my cell phone regarding a suburban that I did not purchase. Trying to be helpful I called the dealership main line and sales line to let them know they had the wrong number. I pushed "0" for assistance, but no one answered the phone. I just keep getting recycled to the recording over and over again. I called back a few times and finally someone answered. When I said, "Oh! Wow, someone answered." They hung up on me!!! UNBELIEVABLE! Twenty-five or so years ago I did business with them and had such a bad experience I swore I would never go back. It's a good thing because I think they have actually gotten worse! Do not buy a car here! Customer service was horrible, I felt discriminated upon and treated like if I couldn't afford a car. In fact, I was pre-approved for a loan and have more than sufficient income to make this purchase. If I had a choice to leave less than a 1 star I would have. You will not get a good price here. I have a 2021 chev Silverado 3500 HD, took it into Mark Chrisopher for a ripped front axle CV boot. I was told to take my truck and continue to drive it due to them not having the part in stock, they would call me when it came in . My truck had 23028 miles on it at this point. So a month and a half goes by at this point I have 35565 miles about to run out of warranty. I call them and informed that the part has not arrived yet . I asked for them to check and then I'm told yes it is there and I'm scheduled to take my truck in the next day and drop it off. So when I drop it off I'm told it should be ready by the end of the day, I was out of town till the following day . I call them when I get back in town , and told it's not done yet but it would be done by the end of that day now. So my truck has a tracker that tells me when the truck is on or moving. So I pull up the tracker and see the truck has not been moved since it was dropped of the day before, and 10 minutes after we get off phone the truck started and moved. So I'm dropped off at the dealer to wait for my truck. Several hours later it gets finished and I get my receipt and the is no mention about my other concern about my rear leaf springs on the drivers side shifted about 1-2 inches. So I go back and speak with service adviser and she speakers to technician and he tells her it normal for the leaf springs to shift. I ask for the technician to come look at it and he tells me that it depends on how much weight I'm towing with my truck. You have to be kidding me , the 2021 truck is advertised to be able to haul 36K and I only haul up to 10K with it, so then he changes his tone and says to go tell the service adviser to document my concerns. I go back and speak with her She does not want to document it. Tells me to bring the truck back before it hits 36K so they can look at it, I'm annoyed at this point because a technician just looked at it why can't she speak to him. I'm supposed to stop my day and bring my truck back in and leave it for a couple days to do a 5 min job. I took my truck back home loosened the u bolts straighten the shifted leaf spring and retightened bolts took me a whole 5 minutes.... smh They just lost my business. I've bought several brand new Chevrolet trucks but will not give them my future business due to how I was treated as a customer. read more

Last Thursday (8/22) Mark Christopher was running a great special on the Terrain. I was at work so I asked my dad to check on the cars. I told him to ask for Joe Gonzales since he was referred to me. My dad physically went down there and Joe told my father that those were loaner cars and had about 3000 miles on them. Joe did not even bother to check anything, just told my dad that. I didn't want to buy a loaner car, so my dad left. After my dad left he looked at the ad and it said, "new", so called back and spoke with Gerald Waters. Guess what...the Terrains that we're at the price were new, not loaners. Why Joe Gonzales could be not bothered to check is beyond me. We went back down that night and bought a Terrain, not from Joe, but from Will (I think he works with Gerald). Will was awesome !! He took the time to explain everything to me and has been professional, courteous and responsive to everything since then. He didn't just sell the car and disappear. I would highly recommend anyone going to see him. My dad will be buying his next car from Will. Now on to Christina...I cannot day enough about her !! I had to bring my car back to have a couple of thing added and she has been on top of everything. If she told me she would get back to me in 2 hours, she got back to in an hour. I wish my experience here for my first time was a better one. I usually get serviced in Anaheim, but decided to try a closer location. Went in for a simple oil change and it turned into a 3hr wait. In the end my car was soaked in the inside apparently they took my car through the car wash without checking the windows. When they brought my car around I got in to drive off and noticed that I felt wet and my car roof was wet as well. No one notified me about the incident. I had to get out and speak with the rep in the service department. They then had to take it to detailing so they can dry it , you can imagine my frustation. I was at Mark Christopher Chevrolet On 1/16 Servicing my Camaro for an oil change and a shimmy in my steering wheel, so they tell me my Roters have to be resurfaced, breaks are good, 450.00 for two, So I go pick up my car, tell Bill I'm not gonna do the Roters. That was at 1315 hrs, at almost 1430 I ask why so long, I'm out of there by 1500 ‍. Take my car today 1/18 to a recommended mechanic to have the Roters resurfaced, 105.00, all 4 Roters, what a disparity in price, it is such a rip off, then this fine mechanic says BTW, let me show you the Master Cylinder Leak that is bubbling up your paint under the hood (pretty obvious when you see it). So I called Mark Christopher to make sure they top off fluids for an oil change, and Juan says yes they usually do that, then why didn't they notice my Master cylinder leak?? He's is gonna tell a Mgr, but doesn't offer free oil changes for life, ok at least one, something! Service ther So I would like to update my review, I called Jeff Rizzi the Service Manager at Mark Christopher (MC) Auto Center, he apologized for my incident and asked me to please bring my vehicle in, he stated he would fix the Master Cylinder at the cost of the product, No labor charge, so I took it in and it turns out, the reservoir that holds the fluid was leaking, not the Master Cylinder, so they replaced the reservoir and covered the entire cost . I asked Jeff why the dealer service centers didn't price match with independent mechanics, even if dealer service charged me 50-100.00 More I would probably stay with the dealer service centers and he said he would absolutely do that for SOME problems and was transparent in telling me, I was misquoted on the resurfacing of my rotors, which I give him kudos for admitting. Even though he spoke to the service guys and the person who misquoted, I still think they need another way to ensure that doesn't happen again besides Jeff looking at every invoice, cause had I been stupid enough to get the resurfacing done, the misquote might not have been found. So I thank MC, Jeff Rizzi for being Honest, transparent, and stepping up to fix my problem which I now give 4 stars read more

As soon as I walked in everybody was extremely friendly and helpful. Ray got my car in right away for its oil change and inspection despite how busy the service department was. I really appreciated how fast their service was!! Ray kept me updated on the vehicle's progress while I waited... I had a bummer of an experience here. I live out of state, so negotiated a deal remotely with my sales rep, Norman. Deal in place, I took a bus from Vegas to the dealership, expecting to drive off in the new car. Long story short, turns out Norman made a painfully simple mistake in the initial paperwork, which effectively made it that they couldn't sell to me anywhere near the agreed upon price. A little basic awareness and diligence by Norman, and it would have saved me a day's worth of bus trips. His lack of engagement was really disappointing. His shoe was untied, food stains on his pants from who knows how many meals ago. In his defense, he did make himself extremely available in the process of negotiating remotely, I appreciated that, although it ended up being for nothing. Bummer. read more

I am trying to get a deal from them over email or phone for mother whose 70 years old, they keep wanting her to come over, covid is out of control right now, and I don't think it's right for a 70 year to come out and spend 5 hrs at the dealer then maybe at the end we can't even make a deal. I have bought many many cars over the phone and just gone over to sign documents and pick up the truck. But these guys can't even give me a quote over phone or email, about 3 different salesman, I tell them what I want, and all the info they need, they say" we will get you quote within a few mins" then to never hear from them again.... even before covid I bought most of my cars over email/phone, and I change cars quite often, every year I get a new car.... these guys just horrible, don't wanna do a deal over the phone so their customers can be exposed to covid. On Friday March 6, 2015, I took my 2014 Chevy Camero to Mark Christopher for an oil change, now please know that I live about 2 miles from Singh Chevrolet in Riverside but choose to go to your dealership for two reasons. 1. I bought the vehicle there in August 2014 and was very happy with the way in which your employees treated me. 2. I have always been treated with respect and this is where I have the problem. On the day I was there I purchased a new remote for my car the cost was $92.61. The parts person told me I would need to take the remote over to the service department to be programmed. I went there and spoke with the service advisor who informed me that the cost to program the remote would be $105.00 and would require 2 hours on the computer. Due to the fact I did not have 2 hours in addition to the 3 1/2 hours for my oil change, I told the advisor I would make an appointment and bring the remote back at a later date. At the urging of a friend I checked YouTube for a video on the programing of my remote which I found. After watching the video I went to my car and followed the instructions and guess what IT WORKED. The remote was now programed and working fine in about 6 minutes and for zero dollars. I am shocked that a dealership that I trusted would abuse that trust by trying to trick me into spending $105.00 for something that was unnecessary. Due to this betrayal of trust, I will not be returning to Mark Christopher Chevrolet for my future service needs, I will also be removing all the positive post about your dealership that I posted on Yelp. I will also be contacting the corporate office of Chevrolet and inform them of this incident. read more

Service dept. simply sucks. I never purchased a vehicle at Mark Christopher so can't comment. But I took my vehicle with an appointment to get my check engine light service at 8 am. First, they couldn't find my appointment. Second, left the vehicle for 6 hours and received a call that they can't even look at it until tomorrow. After mentioning about my appointment she said "sorry that's how it goes" with an attitude. Not even a "let me see what I can do", nothing. Didn't bother to make an effort. It was a waist of time. Do not recommend going their for service. Now after reading reviews I should have never went. Took my vehicle to Rotolo in Fontana and was taken care of in 4 hours all parts under warranty and they actually had great customer service. Service Department is terrible! 3 hours to get the oil changed is absolutely terrible! In a time when dealerships are trying to compete with other companies like Jiffy Lube or mom and pop shops , Mark Christopher is clearly losing. Once they take your car in back, it's all over for the consumer. They boast about 90 service bays on their hold services but can't crank out an oil change in a 2014 truck? In think they may have forgot it was back there. Once my free measly 2 yr / 24,000 miles of oil changes are done, I'm done with them. My 2013 Hyundai Sonata's maintenance is way better. 10 yr / 100,000 miles and 5 yr / 50,000 miles of free oil changes! Glendora Hyundai's service department kicks MC butt. Anyhow, really disappointed with Mark Christopher's games. By the way, they didn't have time to fix the 2 recalls on my truck! What a shame. That's 4 recalls on a truck that isn't even a year old! Go USA. By the way, it's made in Mexico and my Hyundai is made in Alabama, USA! Go figure..... read more

Apparently they are only interested in helping those that need major work done. Higher commissions I suppose.
