While the seafood was fairly good, the prices are outrageous. You think upscale dining, but the staff are dressed in graphic tees and cargo shorts. NO DRAFT BEER available, with a local brewery down the street. Location is in a trailer park, literally. The side dishes are clearly not a priority. The slaw is mayonnaise and preshredded cabbage with NO seasoning, not even S&P. The canned corn side has some sort of Vienna sausage/hotdog meat. They had honey roasted Brussels on special so I got that and while the char was great....again...the kitchen/management must have an empty spice rack or no taste buds. Staff were friendly and prompt, but I wouldn't be surprised if their tips suffered because REAL upscale dining requires much much better food quality for the price you're paying. 4 adults 1 teen= 5 entrees + 1 app Total of 6 bottle/can beer and 1 glass of wine Paid $300 for our meal. read more

Cannot say enough good about Marker 107. Our drinks hit the table before my seat was warm. My wifa had the daily special ( blackened red snapper) and I had seared scallops. We finished the meal off with key lime pie. Everything way cooked to perfection. We will definitely be back. read more

We have been to Marker 107 several times in the last year. The wait staff has been nothing short of amazing. If you want really good options, this is the place to go. I can't say that we have had anything that we didn't truly love. The ambiance sitting outside on the water is just icing on the cake. It's a must try. read more

We have been coming to Marker 107 since 2010. Great views along with friendly/attentive servers. Over the last 2x years the food has gone downhill especially the catch of the day--if you stick with shrimp and anything fried you are ok. Tonight the Mahi Mahi was rubbery and double the cost of the sandwich which was also Mahi Mahi. Additionally, if you swap out a side even though the price is the same there is an up charge. Also, beer menu needs more craft options and tap options. For the price recommend Fish Tales until things improve. Again always very attentive servers. read more

This Restaurant has a long history at this location. While it's had the typical ups and downs, the meal we had tonight was by far the worst ever. Roasted Shrimp with peanut sauce over a bed of rice, it was boiled shrimp with peanut butter.. Chop Salad with grilled shrimp, had to be chop again- by me... Wonderful place. Food is delicious. Ambience is cozy and has a local supportive vibe. Our only challenge is it can be a bit crowded so conversation can be challenging on the weekends. But being crowded is not necessarily a bad thing! So we just try and go at different times. read more

Had an outstanding meal here a week ago. Our server was very good (don't recall her name - blonde hair and I think a nose ring). I had the small shrimp platter and it was divine. It was just enough food for me. Our scallop appetizer was amazing (would have liked one more scallop for the price though). The kids ate all of their food (which never happens) and loved their Shirley temples. My wife had the shrimp tacos and liked them very Much but wanted a couple more shrimp. Thanks for a great meal. Recommended. This is a seafood restaurant on the Georgia coast about a 20-30 minute drive from I-95 (down route 144). It's right on the water in the small Kilkenny Marina. My wife and I visited here with friends on several occasions over the 10-year period we lived on the Georgia coast. The quality of food and service is spotty. Sometimes it's good. Sometimes it is mediocre. You'll note from this review I'm not citing specific dishes. That's because none are memorable. Their prices are little high. This is typical for the area in our experience. Finding "really" good restaurants in coastal Georgia, generally, is a challenge. Many of them charge New York City prices without offering comparable quality. This one walks the line in this respect. The views from this place are unique if you've never seen the marshy Georgia coast. If you'll be in the area for a while and want to see an alternate view, try the Sunbury Crab Company (exit 76 off I-95). Way above expectations and we were expecting great food! Had an unhurried fantastic feast on a busy Saturday night. The hostess was most pleasant and conversational. I mentioned that even though we made a reservation for inside, could we possibly switch to the patio. She went to check and came back with a cheerful "We can make that happen!" Though a chilly spring evening, plenty of silent patio heaters and ceiling blowers made our short-sleeved group nice and toasty. Our server, Mara, gave us five star attentive service and even joked with us. That toasted seafood dip in the crusty sourdough bowl was so good that we had another one as our dessert! The scallops were perfectly seasoned and had just the perfect hint of bacon. The huge flounder presentation was well scored and lightly floured. Two other members had juicy and tender steaks they said were definitely worth a return visit. Even head chef/manager Eric stopped over for an unhurried chat with our table. Working in as many restaurants as I have over the decades, I've never before seen a head chef with such confidence in his staff as to leave them capably running the kitchen on a busy Saturday night! Best views in town! Whether inside or outside on the waterfront screened in porch, your bound to see dolphins or other marine life. A bit off the beaten path down at Kilkenny Marina but it's well worth the trip. She Crab soup is amazing, blackened shrimp tacos are a favorite and you can't go wrong with the crab cakes although my kids swear by the burgers and chicken fingers. Love this place! read more

Ok so I went here with great thoughts in mind. The view was beautiful we sat outside warm energy on a cold night. Ordered a pink lady I will say the drinks were phenomenal. So I thought to myself can't wait for the food. Had fried shrimp, potatoes and collard greens. Shrimp are a little tiny but I really didn't mind that. But what I did have a problem with however was the fact that it tasted as if the shrimp were refried or the oil had not been changed. My collard greens were definitely not Southern. They were overwhelmed with to much vinegar. My waitress did offer to exchange these horrible collard greens with something else. I decided plain rice there's no way that could come out wrong. My husband had the grey ghost which was a platter of seafood. While the portion was small he was still very eager to dig in. As he began to eat his I notice a very unpleasant look on his face. And I asked what was wrong he said it taste as if the flounder had too much flour on it and none of the food was seasoned. The green beans were hardly cooked and I don't mean sautéed. Now the manager did ask how everything was. At that moment I should've gave my opinion but there was so much wrong with it I felt as I would be there all day. I absolutely fell in love with this place. The view is remarkable. We unfortunately got there a little late in the evening and didn't get to enjoy it very long before the sun went down. We sat on the outdoor patio that overlooked the dock. It was a chilly night but the outdoor heaters kept us plenty warm! Our party all order seafood and there wasn't anything left on our plates when we finished. The shrimp and grouper were both very fresh tasting and the sides were very good as well. We also got the low country seafood dip in a bread bowl as an app.... YUM! Their wine list was extensive, good beer list, great service and amazing seafood. I can't wait to go back! read more

I was ready for a nice birthday celebration for my mother-in-law on the water. They take reservations and were happy to accommodate our small group. The food is interesting with a twist- fried okra with smoky jalopeno sauce, salads, pecan crusted grouper with lemon butter, etc. The view was to die for with marshland, the boardwalk, and the cruising alligator. The night couldn't have been more perfect until the owner decided to visit with all the tables asking about the meals. We observed him just skip by our table being the only minorities there. A bit of a drive to get there but the food is so worth it. Hubby ordered the "Marker Hamburger", I ordered the "St. Catherine's She Crab Soup" and the "Low Country Seafood Dip". We also ordered the chocolate brownie with peanut butter mousse and might I add- that mousse was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! Not even a peanut butter fan but it was soo good. The burger was cooked perfectly (really juicy and tender). You could tell everything was very fresh and flavorful including the sourdough bread served with the seafood dip. This place is a hidden gem in Richmond Hill. It's tucked away but well worth the drive. The only thing better then the amazing river view is the food and customer service. The staff has always been very attentive on every visit. I've sampled about half the menu and it's all been delicious. Try the okra fry's; you definitely won't go wrong with the scallops. Unfortunately I was not able to dine at this establishment after a confirmed reservation. I was sent a notification through the resy app that the reservation was canceled due to a 'failed water pump' only 30-minutes before our reservation while on the way to their more remote location. If we had not had notifications turned on we would've never noticed the cancellation. While I understand things come about, a phone call notification with an explanation would've been a better route and more personal. We are now left with no reservation on the evening of a holiday weekend. read more

It's close to home and some of their dishes are really good. I often choose not to eat here because my phone will not work at all at this restaurant. It's too hard to leave home and have no ability to contact a sitter or work mate in an emergency. This could be resolved by Marker 107 so easily. read more

My first time here. Very lovely place off the beaten path. The view was nice and there was live music which made for a very nice atmosphere. I went around 6:30, there was no wait but I sat at the bar. The bartender seemed like someone pissed in her cornflakes. I don't think she cracked a smile once. I ordered SheCrab soup and the crab cake. Both were very good. The food came out quick. I needed another cocktail but the bartender was caught up in gossip with the waitstaff and didn't notice. Ordered chicken tacos for her and she crab soup and shrimp tacos for myself. Asked server to bring out the soup first but she forgot us. Asked someone else to check on it and our server brought it out but took it to the next table. Mediocre for 8 dollars. Brought out tacos. Fries cold. Not much shrimp in mine nor chicken in my wife's. We went here to be on the waterfront but avoid the chaos of Tybee. It's definitely off the beaten path - the approach into the restaurant was a bit sketchy with the trailer park and all. Once we arrived though, we were pleasantly surprised with the location. They have a nice marsh front view and the interior has modern, rustic chic decor. Their menu is fairly accessible, mostly seafood with a few vegetarian options. Portions are small and very expensive, and the only beer is in bottles. Service was pretty good. Overall it was a pleasant expierence but I'm not sure we'd make the trip back out there. read more

We made a dinner reservation for eight last night over an hour in advance, and still had to wait an hour after we got here. There was a party of 23 outside and we had to wait for them to eat and leave before they would seat us. This really isn't the best place to have a party of 23 for anyone who is wondering, you might as well just rent out the whole place for the night. I ordered the special of the night, flounder with a citrus glaze, and two sides. I chose the baked potato and coleslaw. The food took awhile and I asked for sugar for my tea and never got any and had to ask again when she came back awhile later. The food came out and it was all hot and fresh. The flounder was amazing, and the citrus glaze reminded me of the sauce they use in Chinese lemon chicken. The baked potato was overcooked, the coleslaw was bland, and there were a few hard hush puppies that almost hurt my teeth they were so crunchy. My tea was low for some time and she brought out a pitcher to refill it, but the pitcher had barely any ice and I don't know why people don't understand tea needs a lot of ice because it doesn't come out of a cold dispenser like the sodas do. I didn't want to bother her anymore so I dealt with luke warm "iced" tea. Overall the experience was enjoyable, the patio is screened in so no bugs. The lighting was very dim and we liked it but some might not. I would go back, the owner came around a few times and he was a pleasure to chat with. read more

Boy, talk about a local spot that is a hidden treasure? Sitting right on the river, this place is one step from amazing (it was dark and windy when I went) but I bet it would be better if it was day time to actually see the river. Came here with two friends, one who grew up around the local area so everyone basically knew her. We had a lots of hey's and hello's. Everyone was VERY friendly. It's refreshing that nice people are still around. Started with the seafood dip. Came in a bread bowl and boy, that was delicious. If you were to pick a starter, this would be a good choice. I haven't tried their crab cakes (and I am a big fan of crab cakes) so if I were here again, I'd try those. For the entree, had the swordfish since it was the catch of the day. Thick cut, no smell, grilled. I've never had swordfish before so I'm not sure how it's "supposed" to come but from what I had, it was pretty tasty. Filling, doesn't taste "fishy", very hearty. It was by far one of the thickest cut of fish I've ever experienced so they aren't skimping you on quantity here. For the sides, had an order of cheesy grits and baked potato. Nothing to rave about there, just normal sides that you can assume. Overall, if you're in the area, go and find this place. It's a great find for both food and people and a great place to enjoy a relaxing dinner weather with friends or a nice date. Totally recommended read more
