The food was delicious! Service was awesome, would definitely recommend this place. The grits and shrimp were very good!!!

Food was fine. Oysters were over cooked. Our waitress was absent most of our meal. Request for additional sauces was forgotten. It appears that the table next us had locals seated that warranted more attention. Our table was never completely cleared and refills only occurred at the end of the meal. To round it out she completely disappeared after dropping off our check. We had to send our cards back with another waitress. For the price we paid and the hour we traveled I expected better. read more

After reading all the great reviews here, I guess I expected more. Service was average food was average at best. The lobster flatbread appetizer was disappointing. Very little lobster and most of it was claw meat. The she-crab soup was delicious, creamy and the best part of the meal. The Fish of the day was okay. It was a little on the dry side and bland. It felt overpriced for the quality of the food. We will try it again in the summer when we can enjoy the view and try dishes other than the specials. read more

The views from this restaurant are amazing. Wow! Just to sit and relax with a drink and look out is worth the drive. Okay, so it's not that far for me since I live in Richmond Hill but it's quite a trek from Savannah. (The last comment is directed at my Savannah friends who DID NOT want to come all the way out here! But once they did, they were happy, happy, happy.) As an appetizer the low country seafood dip is so good next time I might just have two orders and call it dinner! No, I couldn't do that because then I'd miss out on the fabulous Grey Ghost platter. The platter consists of crab cakes, flounder, shrimp and oysters. YUM! My dinner companions had the fried flounder and the fried shrimp. Rave reviews for both entrees. Along with the delicious food is a fabulous wait staff. The staff is nice, friendly and very attentive. Our drinks were brought out ice cold, and our food brought out piping hot --- and all with a smile. (Don't you just love great service!) The superb view alone is worth the drive, but the food is excellent too. I particularly liked the She-Crab Soup and Shrimp and Grits. The French fries are nothing special and portions are a bit small on the sandwiches and baskets. In the second of two meals there, the service was agonizingly slow. However, the manager gave advance warning of this and offered a complementary appetizer. The service ended up being slower than I could have imagined, but it was an opportunity to enjoy the spectacular view so I wasn't complaining. When the bill finally came, they had comp'd everything except the entree, so I wasn't unhappy. I will return, but will try to avoid peak hours on Friday and Saturday nights. read more

Fantastic service, great owners, even better views! Food was really good, a huge plate of flounder, shrimp, brocolli & sweet potato fries, I'm just not crazy about all fried food, although menu did have options for blackened fish sandwiches. Come into this understanding that the 1 star is because my beer was cold. They at least got that right. First time visiting this restaurant. We had read mixed reviews. We are there on Saturday March 11th. We showed up around 7:15pm. Had to wait about 30min for a table, no big deal we got drinks at the bar and hung out until we were seated. 15 minutes after being seated, we finally stopped a passing waitress to bring us some water and asked about our waitress/waiter. Another 5 minutes passes and here comes our waitress with some waters. This set the tone for the rest of the night. I'm going to make this very long story as short as possible. The she crab soup and seafood dip appetizer were great. Took us 30 minutes to get them... but they were great. Sadly, that and the alcohol were the only things worth a damn. Hands down the worst service I have had at any restaurant in the Savannah area. We placed our orders(after waiting for service on other things) and after an hour we were fed up. We had heard our waitress tell a couple seated next to us that they were out of cheese grits. This was about 35 minutes after we placed our order. 20 minutes later, our waitress comes up and tells us they are out of baked potatoes. We choose different sides, and as she goes to walk away I ask her about the cheese grits. Oh yeah, they are out of those too. After an hour or more of waiting we FINALLY get our food.... keep in mind this is an hour after ordering our food, not after sitting down. And we were not the only table complaining. What a waste. Everything was luke warm at best, my buddies wahoo was like a piece of rubber, my founder and shrimp were useless, my wife's steak was luke warm but good, and her steamed broccoli was cold. Absolutely disappointing after waiting so long. The manager we spoke to was clearly not trained to be a manager and had a half ass answer to the problem. Best thing to come out of her mouth was "we will take care of it, what else do you want me to do?" Night ended with them comping everything we had. We had already decided we were not paying for anything else than the alcohol and appetizers. My wife found it somehow in the good of her heart to leave a $20 bill on the table. I don't know if we caught them on a bad night or what.... this was HANDS DOWN the worst service we have had in the past 7 years of living in savannah. I will choose Waffle House hand over fist before I come back here again. Disappointing..... read more

Came from out of state and wanted be by the water to eat had heard this was a good place to eat. We were able to sit on the screened in patio which was great. Service was so so, food was brought out in multiple trips, but we did have a party of 10. Half of us were done eating before the rest received theirs. Food was so so. Marker 107 has amazing food and beautiful dining on the water. After discovering this place, I ate there again the next night. The crab cakes were the best I've had, and I order crab cakes at nearly every seafood restaurant I go to. The owner, Eric, was seen walking around and checking on each table's guests. He introduced himself to us and was super nice. I enjoyed delicious food and watched dolphins swim past the dock, I love the atmosphere. The food was definitely the best I've had in Georgia, and I visit often because my brother lives in Savannah. I cannot wait to go back to Marker 107, multiple nights, on my next trip! read more

I gave it one star for the location The past two visits there were disgusting. The chef seems to feel she can cook. but: Gritts and shrimp were so runny you needed a net to find the few tiny shrimp she could part with....when I say runny I truly thought is was soup (It was really embarrassing because out guest ordered it) I have given up trying to get grilled onions with the overpriced hamburger since the "Chef" claims her grill is too small to grill onions on it Food temperature seems to be a problem if you don't order it rare anything else is tough and dry If you don't want fish the menu is really limited. My husband is allergic to fish so he can either get a dry hamburger OR tough steak. The baked potato is actually good (but lets face it ANYBODY can cook a baked potato) Service is really slow and average from our last two visits was 45 minutes to get food after waiting 20 minutes for them to take our order Even though there are no other decent places in the Richmond Hill area I'll cook before we go there again.. read more

I stopped here on my way to Florida looking for a nice place to eat on the waterfront. It is a beautiful river, not the ocean, though it may be inter coastal. The hostess seated me outside much faster than she first envisioned but then I waited, and waited, and waited. After flagging down a number of employees to see if one of them was my server, I finally told someone my drink order. She responded, "Let me ask the hostess who your server is"....brrrnntt, wrong answer! The setting was amazing. The food was beautiful but too much salt and too much butter. I hope they can improve the food and service. This place could be a destination all on its own. read more

Delicious. Friendly and rustic elegance type of place. I loved that the owner came out and spent time with each table. I had the Salmon Roulade special with collard greens and broccoli. It was all done perfectly. Our waitress needs a bit more training in fine dining and serving the fine diner lol but she was ok (forgot the appetizer- kept asking "are you ready to order yet?" but she was sweet.) I took my mother here recently with some friends on a Friday night. There wasn't a wait for a table which was nice since it was 7:30pm. The decor is very tasteful and would be a good place for a date night. It was too dark to see the water and boats but hope to do so this summer. The owner made it a priority to interact with all the customers. He was very friendly and has a great sense of humor. I am a veteran and my husband is currently deployed and to thanks us for our service and sacrifice he comped our meal. This was such an amazing surprise. The food was incredible! I recommend the she crab soup and shrimp and grits. The cocktails were very good as well. I will defiantly be coming back with my husband this summer. read more

The food here is devine. I have been here twice the first time I had the sea bass. I do not like fish but my husband said try something new. I do not regret it! The appetizer crab dip in the bread bowl is delicious! The service is fantastic and even the owner made rounds and talked to everyone. He gets all his fish fresh daily from his boat which is right outside the restaurant. Upscale food with a down to earth atmosphere! I am originally from Maine so slightly bias that the best seafood is in Maine but Marker 107 beats a few places in Maine outta the water!! Marker 107 -- what's not to love? Great location, fast and friendly service, wonderful views, and delicious food! I've been wanting to try this place for a while (I guess my only complaint is that they are not open every day, haha), and tonight was finally the night. I had the grilled Georgia shrimp with the fresh veggies (collard greens, done right!) and sweet potato fries. My guy had the Grey Ghost platter. We also had the calamari appetizer. I have eaten calamari all over the world, and I have to say this was about the best I've had, ever. We cleaned our plates as far as the entrees went, too. We sat on the screened porch overlooking the water and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I cannot wait to go back! I tried to check in on Yelp while there, but unfortunately it's impossible in an area with little cell service. :) read more

By far the best dining experience I have had in a while. Great staff all around. Started at the bar the table service was the best. Had a group of 14 and one girl handled us like a pro. Then the food. Off the chain! Yes a little pricey but the real deal. I was more than pleased to drop the money for an experience like I had tonight. Don't know what else to say but an experience that almost has no words to describe the all around delight as tonight. Had to double our waitress tip and she probably deserved more. Love, Love Love this place!! Great views to enjoy, great food to enjoy and very nice wait staff. Go early so you can enjoy the view while you sit outside or inside and watch the boats go by. We had the fried shrimp and they were really nice and "fresh" tasting. We can't wait to go back here again and again. It looks like a place where mostly locals go because you have to know it's there to go there. There is no way to accidentally come across this gem. ALL GOOD! Locally owned Known for locally caught Georgia shrimp right off Grey Ghost which is docked at their dock. Shrimp and grits are excellent. Same with blue crabs, and locally caught Fresh Seafood, For a change, the rib eye is also excellent. Usually, the quality of a restaurant decreases as the view gets better. We just had a fantastic sea food dinner and the food was fantastic I'll rate it at a 5 star +. The owners and staff were absolutely fantastic and we're from California and our first time here. It's a must if you're in the area. Hope to see more people rate it. And talk about Southern hospitality it' was fantastic the owner and staff were great. They just put in a brand new ADA compliant ramp for wheelchair and scooters. The do need to add a good ramp going to the porch, they probably could add a nice by utilizing the small deck that has a double door on it and adding a door to it from near the entrance.. read more

Bad experience. Last year we were there twice an everything was perfect for service and food. So we went there Friday March 10th 2017 and before go I checked Yelp reviews and was hard to believe that there were some negative reviews on the last 6 months. So we give them a try. Bad mistake, we had an horrible experience. Bad service, they got there once to ask for drinks, and it took about 20 minutes to get the drinks for us. After that we ordered the food and it took an hour for the waitress to return and inform us that food was in a long line of waiting. They never offered chips or bread. So after 60 minutes they came again to say that in some minutes the food will be ready,so those minutes were 30 more, in total we were waiting for 1.5 hr after order with no food and bad service and we decided to request the check and leave. I can't have an opinion about food because we never tasted it. Place looked like no order, no management. We won't return again until we have any information from the manager or owner that corrective actions are in place. We're giving only one star because they offered the drinks with mo charge. read more

Been there a couple of times before and some items were good while others were fair at best. Decided to try again for my wife's birthday. The water view is always worth seeing although not an upscale restaurant. The young lady waiting on us was very friendly and attentive but the food was a disappointment. Better to order shrimp appetizers and seafood dip instead of an entrée due to price and amount of food. We had 3 seafood plates and 1 hamburger plate with 2 appetizers and with 20% tip the bill was $161. This will be our last trip. read more

Love this place. From the views, the wait staff and the food. Low country food at it's best. Love their shrimp and grits. I drove up there just to try it because I fell in love with the pics on their website. I get there at 5 pm and watch the sky over the marsh change in color. If you are lucky, the Grey Ghost will come chugging into the dock bringing fresh shrimp from the ocean. I have tried the Low Country seafood dip-more than enough for 2 and quite delicious. Shrimp and Grits---which is the bomb! Seafood tacos -just the right spice. Grouper sandwich done to perfection. Blackened scallops moist and tender. Not a bad dish on the menu and it has a full bar. I will be going up again and again. Can't wait for my next trip north....save a seat for me! ps...live music on the deck. read more

This is an amazing restaurant where "everyone knows your name"! My latest favorite is the Marker Chopped Salad with buffalo shrimp but, truthfully, everything I have eaten here has been wonderful! I am always pleased when I visit this location. Sometimes there is a wait, and I am politely directed to the bar for a drink while I wait for my table. I have noticed they seem more busy on the weekends and especially during the peak dining hours. But we wait patiently for our table and enjoy the fresh drinks and view. I love the Grey Ghost Martini named after the Shrimp Boat parked outside. Freshly chilled grey goose, hint of dry vermouth, and with a few olives. We frequently come here with an expectation, and it is met every time. On to the food, no one has scallops like Marker, I have to order the appetizer every time. Then main course I usually decide between the fresh catch which, is ever changing, or I stick with my favorite, the lightly blackened shrimp with jasmine rice and steamed broccoli. I have tried everything on the menu to my liking, but I know what I am ordering depending on catch. The wait staff seem to love their job, and love seeing returning guests. They are very knowledgeable on the menu. We will return. read more

Ate here on 1-14. We really wanted it to be good since it is right around the corner. First I have to say the service was excellent, the food not so great. To start the swordfish special was 86'd early then the filet was knocked off. The crab soup was overpowered by basil and not very good. We also had the scallops and they were basically old bay and blackened. For our main course we each settled for the ribeye. While not a bad cut of meat it was overcooked especially for the price. Think western sizzler or Ryan's for Ruth's price. Overall the experience was not worth the tab and we won't be back. The 2nd star is only for the service. read more
