Great spot. Plenty of beers on tap brewed in house, and the staff is super helpful and willing to help in making a selection you will like. This place could be so fantastic if they fixed the kitchen. Location is amazing! The menu is odd (Greek, Italian, Asian, pizza) and none it is very good. The beer looks good, the bar is huge and a good place to watch a game. But wow the food is expensive and completely awful. Simplify the menu for simple and tastey bar food. Sliders, a good Flatbread menu, and some really good appetizers. Do away with lobster stuffed filet and the overly complex food. read more

Had a great day in Nashua was looking forward to a great dinner out with group (6) of friends. Waiter "Scott" came over noticed something was off from go of conversation. Advised of the different tabs he Told us he would handle at the end. We ordered our drinks and meal. Our meal arrived mostly correct, Scott missed a side Of Vegetables when told he didn't go Get it. Burger request was with pretzel bun, noted didn't offer to exchange. He was very casual. The food we did receive was fantastic. The bill came one slip, asked about separating he brought back separate slips completely wrong. We told him this went back, came back and said once separated he couldn't fix and walked away. We were left to figure the 4 slips that each had something from all six of us each on it. Scott also mentioned the sweet shop was open all night, we arrived at candy shop 10:01, and were told they close at 10. Security guards setting up music and were moving tables and chairs and wanted us out of their way, they were very rude and pushed. the paying customer was treated horrible. Came for dinner a couple of weekends ago with as part of a group of 5 and had a very enjoyable experience. There was a solid selection of cocktails and everyone like what they ordered. I was also pleased that I was able to swap out the filet for a NY strip for the steak that had lobster claw meat on top of it. The steak was cooked exactly as ordered and the lobster meat portion was generous. Vegetables weren't great so I mostly skipped over those. The service was great thoughout the meal. I was especially impressed because we were sat in an area where no one else was sitting, yet our server made sure to come by often to ensure we had everything we needed. First, let's start with the good news. The entree that I ordered (lobster stuffed haddock) was cooked well and tasted a little above average. Most of the beers were good too. As for the bad...the service, the confusing menu and the poorly prepared side dishes were the low lights. The most frustrating part of the visit is that the menu doesn't tell you what sides come with many of the dishes. Do fries come with the paninis? Does a choice of potatoes and a vegetable or salad come with the entrees? The menu not only doesn't make this clear but it doesn't list any side dishes at all. The answer ended up being equally confusing!! The waitress had to keep looking at a queue card to answer and couldn't quite provide a logical answer. It turned out that for the haddock, the only thing that came with it was mashed potatoes or rice. No vegetable. Though it might be possible to substitute a vegetable for the potatoes, I was told. I asked the waitress if I could get a half-order of mashed potatoes and a half-order of broccoli. To which she said "Sure!" The broccoli was ice cold and bland; boiled with no seasoning or anything. The mashed potatoes were adequate but nothing special....to cap off a frustrating situation, when the bill came out she charged me for a side of broccoli. Not cool. Bottom-line is, the entree and beer were decent. The service and sides were terrible. For the price, I expect a starch and a vegetable or salad. If I come back it will be for the beer!! read more

Service-5 Stars. Beer-5 Stars. Food-4 Stars. Perceived Cleanliness- 2 Stars. We have had this on our destination map when in the area and have been coming here, two or three times a year for many years. We chose to seat ourselves outdoors to enjoy the splendid day. Prompt hostess and waitress. IPA was excellent. My fish and chips were excellent with an acceptable fish portion of three pieces but it could use more fries. The coleslaw was great but with such a small portion, it was embarrassing to receive it. Either go with more or forget it. The spanakopita portion was huge and very tasty with a great tzatziki side that was low on garlic. Well worth it. My wife went to wash her hands before eating and noticed that one stall was closed to use in the ladies room and found the toilet seat up on the only usable one. The men's room was closed for use on this side of the restaurant so obviously this became a mix use john with no notice. When I went into the restaurant and walked towards the ladies room, the hostess instructed me to use the men's room on the other side bar, down the hall. (I told her that my wife informed me that it was mix use. The hostess went off to put up a sign directing to the other men's room) This lavatory could use a cleaning. The toilet also didn't turn off and was wasting gallons of water. One measure that I use for a restaurant is the bathroom condition as it reflects both perception of the restaurant, cleanliness and a concern about kitchen conditions and respect for the customer. Three johns plus out of service. Dirty in the men's room although the ladies room I was told was clean. Call a plumber. Get it fixed. Walking through the restaurant I thought that it was dusty and could use a cleaning and some improvement. Dark and dusty. Worn. The place was busy on the street but dead inside. No wonder. read more

I couldn't finish my meal because of the taste. And the cocktails were so small and overpriced. I do have to say service was great. Waiters have always been so friendly. My husband and I decided to go to Martha's Exchange which we usually never have a bad meal. I ordered the Greek chicken which was supposed to half a chicken, Greek potatoes and veggies. The chicken was a chicken leg quarter NOT half a chicken like I was expecting. The chicken was overcooked to the point it was hard. The green beans were almost soggy due to being overcooked. I know there isn't much of a view but I really like sitting outside here during the nice weather. It seems like I am not the only one, because the outdoor seating seems to fill up fast all summer long. Their beers are great. And they must know it because they aren't cheap. Be careful because some taste great despite having wicked high alcohol contents so they can sneak up on you. There food is by no means bad, but I haven't found anything on the menu that I really like. But I will keep trying because I love to come here to fight for an outdoor table and try the new beers on the menu UPDATE - Two for one drinks before 6. Not bad. read more

This review is for the restaurant: I went here with my fiance on a Saturday afternoon and I was blown away by their food. I had their Basil Alfredo flatbread pizza which had artichoke hearts, sun-dried tomatoes, and broccoli in an alfredo cream sauce. When the dish came out, it was a square piece cut in half diagonally with a nice Caesar salad in the opening between the pizza slices. Both the salad and the pizza were among the best I've ever had. My fiance had a burger with a side of potato wedges and the wedges were nice and thick with the perfect amount of crisp on the outside (I know because I helped him eat a few of them). Next time I am in downtown Nashua, I would definitely stop by here again. read more

Out of this world beer...delicious and ever changing. The brewers really know what they are doing and you can bring growlers home, too. Martha's happy hour (bar seating only) is the best deal in town... buy one, get one for a penny. We come to Martha's enough to be treated like royalty every time we stop by. The servers and bartenders are excellent and make you feel at home. Sometimes the music is iffy, but I can overlook that unless it is pop country. The restaurant turns into a night club after 9pm on weekends, so beware if that is not your thing. For vegetarians, I like the spanakopita best, and the veggie burger with avocado spread and habanero cheese is also tasty if you are looking for classic pub fare. read more

The bartenders and waiters demonstrated poor customer service across the board and spent more time socializing with each other than waiting on customers. The atmosphere overall was disconnected. Was served a RAW Turkey burger. Manager came over and said she would take it off the bill. When we received the bill they didn't comp my meal they merely just deducted $10.00 off the bill. My meal was $12.99, so they charged me $2.99 for a handful of fries and the one bite I took out of it. We had lunch here yesterday. Since their menu has many Greek offerings, we decided to go with Greek dishes. Their gyro is chicken. Our helpful waiter suggested the lamb wrap which came with a huge order of FF on the plate. I saw they had spinach pie with a Greek salad and ordered that. The filo pastry on the spinach pie had collapsed and I suspect it was not freshly made. The bottom crust was hard! The salad was nice but had only 1 Greek olive! I love them and couldn't believe it when I only had 1. The restaurant is huge with tables and chairs and their bar as you enter. To the left is their bakery, a term I use loosely here, and booth seating. What the meal lacked our waiter more than made up for. He was the best. Will go back, but not for a while. read more

Usually come here for their selection of brews and the outdoor seating in the summer. The only thing that bothers me is they won't take a list for the patio seating, which is OK if you don't mind hovering over someones table until one opens up. The jumbalaya is what I'll usually order and very good, although they usually skimp on the shrimp (4 maybe total). Their sandwiches are decent (rueben) but was disappointed by the size of their pulled pork sandwich. They do offer potato salad, fruit salad and fries which is nice if you're trying to eat healthier. The chocolate store/bar on the way out is pretty impressive, nice to pick up a couple chocolates for desert. After 10 or so on Fri/sat it transforms into a hip-hop joint. read more

The California Burger: Brought no tomorrow or Avocado Mayo as stated. The burger was requested medium. It came out Well done with no juice to it. The burger was sooo well done it was tiny compared to the bun it came out on. The Dulce Leche can be good if you want straight up sugar in your mouth. I took the burger, after one bite, to my house thinking it may be good after I'm drunk..? Let's hope for the best... After I Paid for my meal (because I wasn't trying to get a comped meal) I let the server know she did a great job and to let the chef & manager know about this maybe stepping up their menu. read more

One of the women's bathrooms has been broken now for at least 8 months and it's still not fixed. The door on the other stall doesn't lock so good luck when using the bathroom. read more

Its not that the food at Martha's is bad, however, my last experience was just that. My last. They were advertising a thai plate special that came with shrimp, lobster and scallops. When the plate came and I began eating I noticed plenty of shrimp and scallops but no lobster. I went digging around and eventually found red meat that I recognized right away as imitation crab meat. I brought this to the attention of the waitress who brought it to her boss (this boss never came to the table to say anything by the way). They're offer was to put real lobster on it and stick it in the microwave. I told her she could just go ahead and take it off the bill. I didn't snap at the waitress because she doesn't cook the food. Bottom line: 1. Martha's lied and said there was lobster in a dish and instead put in imitation crab meat so they engage in false advertising. 2. They're crap solution was to put lobster meat on it and then microwave it. 3. The manager never came to apologize. 4. I'm guessing not everyone recognizes fake crab so they probably still use it. 5. They evidently have lobster on hand so just decided to see if they could get away with using shit instead. 6. Incidentally the service was excruciatingly slow. read more

Martha's is good for a quick meal and a decent drink. I never go out of my way to go here but if I need a place in downtown Nashua to grab food and drink this is where I sometimes end up. The food is good and what you would expect to find at a downtown pub at lunch. The beer selection is very goodcraft brewed at the top end and then of course your bottom rung Bud, Miller, Coors options. My only real beef with the food is that it sometimes tastes less than freash. Seating is ample and they have some nice tables outside along the the Main st. If you care that the tables outside are spotless though I wouldn't recommend sitting outside as they aren't wiped down frequently enough (pollen and dirt). Martha's does have live music if you are into it being entirely too loud on the nights they do have it. On the whole I recommend going here for a quick lunch rather than a night out. read more
