    Brisket Slider

Quick, easy, and always does the trick. I usually order a Brisket Sandwich or slider with crispy fries. There is a nice outdoor seating area where I typically like to sit. There is also tons of seating inside. I usually add the sweetest BBQ sauce option they offer to my sandwich and it pairs perfectly. Free parking available in their attached parking lot in the rear.

Had a great dinner here a few nights ago. Stood in line to order for a brief moment and decided to try the ribs. I ordered them with dry rub only and sauce on the side, I chose the broccoli salad and potato salad for my sides with sweet tea. My food was delivered quickly. The ribs were fall off the bone tender. As a matter of fact, bit into the rib and the all of the meat came off the bone on my bite, I was by myself but it could have been embarrassing. I chose the pull the rest of the meat off the bone using my fingers. Again, it was that tender. This was my first time trying the ribs. You need to try them. Broccoli and potato salads were delicious. Tea's always good. First time at this location too.

This place is always busy. They do an outstanding job of taking care of the customer, especially when they make a mistake. They make it right with a smile. Courtesy has been exceptional every time we order. The smoked meat plates are high quality. Great portions and always hot and fresh. Sides are tasty and not overly seasoned. It gets busy so be patient. One of our favorite places in Nashville.

Can't go wrong with a bbq pulled pork sandwich from Martin's. Always good service. Food usually comes out quickly. I need to explore the menu and maybe try the brisket and catfish one day. Fairly priced. Plenty of space for indoor and outdoor seating. Plenty of tvs. Spacious bar. Even a good place for a family outing. I wish they had more sauces to choose from though.

Martins was decent BBQ. Brisket was probably the best. Ribs were a bit dry and had cartilage but still solid. Next time I want to try different sides- the fries were good but hush puppies I would've changed out. Nice chill vibe here and good location to Vanderbilt campus and in Midtown. Would come back because it's close!

    Country band with amazing talent!

The food was excellent with a multitude of choices. There was a great live band on stage so the atmosphere was amazing. Great for singles, couples, families, business or pleasure

OK!!!! I'm from Las Vegas, you can get non watered down cocktails for a good price and Martins first off stole the show with a spicy margarita and Tennessee mule. Balanced and we were happy. However the show stopper those damn smoked wings. I've never!!! I love chicken wings and I love all kinds of BBQ but this is was it. We had the brisket platter as well, hotcake was great, hand cut fries great, coleslaw yes, potato salad it was ok. Oh the lighter color sauce the bartender had was on point as well as the spicy stuff....so good. We loved the atmosphere, bartender, decor and food and drink! Highly recommend.

The "kid brother" sampler with turkey instead of pork c.

That smoke flavor really came through! The brisket was a lil too fatty, but overall still really good. The turkey was my favorite! The mac and cheese looked soupy, and was kinda cold, but it tasted better than it looked, and the fries were good also. It was beautiful outdoors, but the flies chased me back inside with my meal. Will definitely return while here in Nashville!

3 dry rub 3 BBQ sauced smoked wings with ranch. Delicious!
    Julia O.

I wanted a quick snack so I ordered the 6 smoked wings to go, 3 dry rub and 3 sauced with BBQ. PERFECT! Yummy! I could've eaten 6 more. My only quibble is the ranch dressing I asked for on the side. It wasn't very Ranch tasting. They need to have a delicious ranch to match the delicious wings! The interior was fun and funky. Next time I'm eating in and having a beer!

We tried to come here on a Friday night in January and they were out of the majority of the meats, so they recommended we visit another location. The staff were very friendly and honest and they have a huge bar area and tons of seating. We gave it another try and visited on a Sunday afternoon to try their pork ribs and we got the Mac and cheese and baked beans. The meat easily fell off the bone and Nashville bbq is different if you're expecting Texas bbq but the seasoning was good and service was great!

    Big Bro Sampler
    Amanda G.

Stopped in after visiting the Parthenon and decided to share the big bro sampler. There was a slight line so we headed to the bar and was never greeted so we got back in line and ordered our food. The gentleman that took our order was nice, but the rest of the staff were whatever. The inside was nice and cool feeling which is a huge plus since it's so hot out. The red potato salad was pretty tasty. The mac n cheese was good. The ribs were delicious! Both the dry rub and wet were very tasty and fall off the bone. The brisket had lots of flavor too and only added to the experience. The cornhoe cake was okay, different from anything I've had before.

I had the brisket tacos, which were flavorful, though a little dry. I am giving grace here because it was takeout and possibly was much more moist prior to transport. I did like how the toppings brightened things up: cheese, slaw, pico de Gallo, bean salad, and fried jalapeños. I also had the Nashville hot link, a smoked sausage with house made spicy pimento cheese and pickled jalapeños. It was indeed pleasantly spicy. We shared some fries, which were hot, crisp, and well seasoned. They also have ribs, wings, bbq nachos and fries, fried pickles, bbq chicken and turkey, various sandwiches and platters. They also offer Nashville's staple hot chicken in platter, sandwich, and taco form. Catfish is another option, in all the same varieties. Sides: cornbread, Mac & cheese, baked beans, green beans (in bone broth and bacon). Cold sides such as bean salad, potato salad, Cole slaw. They also have a couple desserts and salads available, as well as a kids menu. Very affordable, as we got meals for 15 people for only 230 dollars.

The sides were kind of meh. The green beans tasted like they were from a can and I think the noodles for my Mac and cheese were too firm. But it was still good. I'd go again just get different sides. Oh and the banana pudding was great!

Absolutely the Best BBQ in Nashville - Honey Fire BBQ on Sawyer Brown Rd is a Must-Try!…read more I recently visited Honey Fire BBQ in the Bellevue area and left completely impressed. From the moment you walk in, the place feels welcoming with its clean, modern vibe and that cozy wrap-around covered porch--perfect for enjoying a meal with family or friends. The star of the show is their slow-smoked meats paired with that signature sweet heat sauce. The brisket was incredibly tender and packed with flavor, the ribs had the perfect bark and fall-off-the-bone texture, and the pulled pork was juicy and delicious. Their house-made sauces (especially the honey-based ones with just the right touch of tangy sweetness and a little kick) elevate everything--I've never tasted BBQ quite like this Nashville twist on tradition. Sides were equally outstanding: the baked beans had a great depth of flavor, the mac and cheese was creamy and comforting, and the sweet corn pudding was a standout. Everything felt fresh, generous, and made with care. Service was friendly and efficient--true Southern hospitality that made us feel like family. Whether you're dining in or grabbing takeout, this spot delivers every time. If you're in Nashville (or driving through Bellevue), do yourself a favor and head to Honey Fire BBQ on Sawyer Brown Rd. It's become my new go-to for outstanding barbecue. Highly recommend. I will definitely return and bring friends. From our family to yours--thank you, Honey Fire!

This time, we switched things up and hit it for lunch instead. Good call. We grabbed seats at the bar, where Todd was holding down the fort. The guy was outstanding. Drinks never sat empty, food came out smoothly, and he somehow managed to be attentive without hovering over us every five minutes asking if everything was okay. My wife started with the Nashville Margue, which goes down way too easy for something packing moonshine. Light, refreshing, and carrying enough kick to remind you you're in Tennessee. Then Todd introduced us to a Bloody Mary made with a new pickle-infused vodka. Now, that sounds like one of those ideas that should either be amazing or a complete disaster. Turns out it's amazing. My wife loved it so much she's already talking about coming back tomorrow for another one. For food, we started with the pretzels and beer cheese. Simple. Warm. Soft. Salty. Exactly what you want while settling into a Nashville afternoon. Nothing fancy, just done right. Then I went all in on the mac and cheese topped with Nashville hot chicken. Yee Haw. Creamy mac and cheese. Crispy chicken. That signature Nashville heat. Comfort food with a little attitude. Just the way it should be. The best thing about The Stillery is that it knows exactly what it is. Good food. Good drinks. Good people. No gimmicks. No trying too hard. Just a fun place to sit down, relax, and enjoy yourself. Fifteen trips to Nashville (together) and it's still one of our first stops. That's probably the strongest review I can give. Five stars.

The spot is in an old building in the middle of the entertainment district (Lower Broad area). It has a small outside seating area, for when it is not a sauna, Inside there is a nice sized bar, if you are just seeking a drink. They are known for their mac & cheese, which I have never tried in all of the times I have been to the Stillery. Very creamy, cheesy mac & cheese. The Nashville hot chicken has a nice spice to it. A bit mild for the serious hot chicken fans, but the flavor is there. The chicken tenders are fairly standard. And the crinkle fries are mid. I enjoyed both of the drinks. At $14.50, they are at least $1.50 less than the standard Broadway cocktails in the star bars, so iti s a less expensive option to get a drink. I don't think they ever have live music, unlike some others here, so you are going for the food, not the noise. Service was great, as always. The staff is always prompt and knows their menu. It is more bar food and the menu is limited, but what they do, they do well.

Parking was super easy, and the woman at the counter was friendly and helpful. The bathrooms were clean, and the restaurant itself is spacious with plenty of tables and room to spread out, which is always appreciated when dining with little kids. My kids played outside while we waited for our food, but the food came out quickly. The kids' meals are some of the best values in town. One tip: the bun on the kids' cheeseburger is huge compared to the patty. I asked if they could add an extra patty, and they did for just $1. After removing some of the bun, it made for a much better burger and still kept the meal incredibly affordable. The spicy chicken tacos are also some of the best tacos in town. Our family of five ate for about $50. We usually buy Edley's gift cards at Costco, so our actual cost was closer to $40. It's refreshing to have a restaurant in Nashville that truly welcomes families while still serving great food. Highly recommend for anyone dining with kids.

The nachos were super MID. I got the Country Salad with the brisket. This was by far the worst "brisket" I've ever had. It was super dry and extremely tough. It really seemed like a horrible chuck roast more than anything. The cut was so bad, that I'm convinced that somebody gave it to me like that on purpose, as some kind of cruel joke. Any real brisket person would be ashamed to serve such a thing. I did not send it back because I don't complain about food, and then trust the people to prepare something else without tampering with it. I just take the L. But If I can keep somebody else from having this happen to them, I'll take that instead. I left ALL that food in there. Money gone. I'm poor, so do you know how bad food has to be for me not to eat it? Especially food I PAID for. I wish I had taken pics of it, because my description here can't do it justice because I want to cuss really bad, and probably talk about the cook's mama. But I'm classy, so I won't.
