This place has really developed and is a fun date night, large party, friend group, or even single diner spot. Not only is the original Marty Bs a large concert venue and hangout spot attached to the main restaurant, but now on the same property there is a separate coffee shop and ice cream parlor too. This visit, there were 4 total in my party. I got the southern fried tamale cakes with green chili Mac and cheese and it was fantastic. Others in my party stuck with their signature street tacos and got brisket or pork. It was a dreary Saturday but they had the fire pit going out front and the rain did not keep folks away. Expect this place full on the weekends and anytime there is live music. The food and drinks offer many options and anyone is sure to find something up their alley.

Our first time visiting, we stopped in for an early lunch around 11:30 and were sat right away but it quickly filled up. Towards the end of the meal it was booming with everyone's conversation - it was very hard to hear my own conversation and the noise was overpowering. Our server was attentive and quick, very friendly and welcoming. The onion rings were crisp and golden, not at all greasy. We ordered lunch specials, the brisket meatloaf with green beans and potatoes au gratin and the stuffed baked potato with brisket. It was SO delicious. Both had great portions, the potatoes au gratin were so creamy , and the brisket meatloaf had a great crust to it. The baked potato was HUGE I barely finished a third. We had leftovers to take. It seems like a really cool place with patio, fire pit and outdoor seating.

A gem tucked away somewhere near Lantana, Marty B's is Texas in every way. It's BBQ, it's Big. Craving wings one day, my search of Yelp led to Marty B's. Pleasantly surprised, Marty B's smoked wings were fuego!! The smoke profile was present yet still allowed the chicken to shine. A great thing I did was get the sauce on the side for dipping. Marty B's seasoning has a just a tad of a heat from the pepper used. Overall, great smoked wings. The ribs as folks say today -- tenderism! Were they just falling off the bone, no. Were they melting when you bit them, yup! We call that a good rib. Green beans were a no for me, too crunchy. Got the food to go, however staff were helpful. Order didn't take long either. Outside seating ample, perfect for gatherings.

We have been meaning to try Marty B's for a LONG time. My BBQ-loving in-laws were in town recently, making for a perfect excuse to go. It is a lively, fun atmosphere with a family friendly outdoor patio. There is plenty of parking. The service was great and the food delicious. We were pleasantly surprised by the number of options on the menu. My in-laws loved their BBQ, and my husband and I loved our TexMex entrees. My husband and I noticed that their bar looks like the perfect place to catch a game, and the two of us will be back sooner than later.

We came here with our friends and our 2 year old. The atmosphere is relaxed, fun and very country if you're looking for that- this is a spot for you. I got the grilled chicken sandwich and it was a dream, wonderful sandwich. We shared wings, fries and nachos at our table, all of which were great. I will say the portion size of nachos is enormous, not a problem but we ordered 2 plates of nachos for our table and it was way too much. We got the kids burger for my daughter, I usually cut it up for her and noticed it was quite charred on the bottom- almost burned. She enjoyed the fries and wouldn't have eaten much anyway so I considered it a wash. Service was friendly and quick although I would have appreciated a warning on the size of the nachos, we definitely over-spent as 1 plate would have been enough for us. All in all, I think this is a decent spot to enjoy dinner with friends and family for the atmosphere and main dishes.

A couple of friends chose this venue for lunch today, and talk about a unique experience!! The restaurant also features plenty of free parking, and they even have a corral if you decide to ride your horse to this restaurant.They have an expansive patio, and a large indoor dining room. The menu has a great selection of appetizers, entrees, handhelds, steaks, and of course various bbq smoked meats. Our server, Jared, was very welcoming and engaging. Throughout our whole lunch he was attentive without being intrusive. I chose the Fried Tamale cakes which are sweet corn griddle cakes topped with chicken tenders drizzled with honey mustard, Valentina hot sauce, and cinnamon butter, served with a side of green chile mac and cheese. It was exceptional!! The tenders were perfectlt fried, and the combination of sauces and cinnamon butter made the dish over the top delicious!! The mac cheese was super creamy, and the corn cakes were tasty!! Judging from what my friends ordered, I can defnitely recommend this eatery with two thumbs up!

The family was craving BBQ--so we hit up Marty B's, a massive restaurant complex featuring a BBQ joint, an ice cream shop, and a coffeehouse. Dinner lineup: - BBQ Brisket Nachos - Three Meat Platter --Ribs, Pulled Pork, and Brisket, with Au Gratin Potatoes and Green Chili Mac & Cheese - Two Meat Platter --Ribs and Smoked Turkey, with a House Salad and Mac & Cheese The food? On point! Meats were smoked to perfection--ribs fell right off the bone, while the brisket and pulled pork packed flavor and great texture. The Au Gratin Potatoes were excellent, though the Mac & Cheese missed the mark. Super creamy, but lacking in flavor with an off-texture on the noodles. And the service? Top-notch!!!!! The staff worked hard, were super welcoming, and made the whole experience even better with their friendliness and helpful attitude. Overall? A delicious meal, great atmosphere, and solid BBQ experience. Would definitely go back!

Marty B's - FM-407 & IT Neely Dr (Bartonville) This is a great wholesome family place, full of upbeat employees, music and the food is grown with ranchers who don't use hormones or antibiotics. I came here with my family to enjoy great company and relax. Overall food was great. I do think some portions are not priced well. One of the dishes we ordered was "Chargrilled Chicken Breast" - $18.99. The portion was small. You can tell they basically cut a chicken breast in half and spread it open to make it look like a big portion. Nonetheless, the dish was very delicious and I would still recommend it. I would price it at $14.99, based on portion size. We also ordered, "Brisket Tacos," "Marty B's Salad" and "Chicken Quarter with Brisket." My family overall enjoyed their meal and we would certainly return here. Our server was so kind and accommodating. She kept coming by and checking on us to make sure we were comfortable and had plenty of refills on our drinks. They also offer live music in their oversized covered patio area that can accommodate over 70 people. If you eat in the patio area, you have an option for a completely different menu list than eating inside. Towards the grand entrance, if you're patriotic, you'll love a Texas-Sized, American flag. To the left of the entrance, you will find a modern style fireplace and additional outdoor seating with tables. Parking can be tricky. Depending on when you get here, you can park right up front, or during busy times, keep circling around. They also offer additional parking lot across from them, next to 7-Eleven gas station.

These brisket enchiladas were delicious! I just fell in love with this place. Huge patio outdoor area and seating. Band area, heaters for cool nights, plenty of seating. You can even ride your horse up to the restaurant and there is an area you can tie them up while you enjoy your meal. Our waitress was very attentive and kept our drinks full with out asking. Everyone's food was so good. Definitely would take my family back here and recommend to anyone who wants a delicious meal.

I just ordered to go this time. It had been a while since I had been, it's nice that they have a separate building that handles to go orders. It can be pretty busy at the restaurant especially on weekends. I ordered the stuffed poblano that comes with smoked chicken. It was quite good, nice smoky flavor. It's a pretty big poblano I had planned to save left overs but it was good and I was hungry so I stuffed myself. I also got their street corn and asparagus as side dishes. Both were good, the asparagus was grilled and really good.

Bad first impression. Location is very nice, great atmosphere, but customer service was terrible. Sat in the bar area for 5 mins without any acknowledgement, started timer to see how long it would be. A family sat next to me, they too were ignored, the husband went to get attention and the waiter that helped them didn't take notice of me, another waiter helping a couple to my left didn't take notice either. Meanwhile I'm watching 10 waiters and a couple of managers stand at the waiter station. Finally 20 mins in a new waitress that just came on shift talked to the family to my right, then turned to me and asked what I needed. I told her of my long wait as I turned off my timer. Everything is amazing. If you're not coming here, you are missing out!!! The staff is so friendly, the ambiance is Texas (nothing better), the food is incredible. I have good and bad reviews for this place... here is the good: - beautiful rustic atmosphere, love the fire pits! - really friendly staff... even though the place is new and still trying to work out the kinks the staff made you feel welcomed and was so nice - the food was amazing!!!! - best brisket I ever ate and the ribs were delicious, the smoked chicken on the nachos had amazing flavor - Desserts were also amazing Now the not so good: - the cheese fries needs more cheese, there was barely any on there - the nachos with the chicken, while it had great flavor I felt like there was more chips then toppings, very little cheese and no sour cream - a few of us at our table ordered the 2 meat plate... I'm sorry but for $17.99 I should not have to walk away hungry so 2 small ribs and 2 slices of brisket with 1 small side just did not cut it. I wanted more. I can go to Hard 8 BBQ and eat until I am full. Do I was sad that the portions here were so small - there was a woman sitting next to us that ordered a potato with pulled pork and she said it was a plain potato with just pork, she said it needed cheese and sour cream and butter... she complained that it was really bland This place is so nice with so much to offer. To just relax by the fire pit and listen to music with a few drinks or make s'mores at the fire pit was so much fun... I am really hoping this place succeeds! I will defiantly come back and hopefully I can write another review and give 5 stars!!! read more

Was in town for a wedding and our Uber driver recommended. We had a great time. Live music. Full house. Hot a table outside really quick. Enjoyed beers and shared brisket, ribs and pulled pork. I've know about this place and have heard it's awesome and something that had to be experienced! I know weekends and evenings can get pretty crazy so I went for lunch which was the perfect vibe for me. We were quickly sat and greeted by our server who was awesome (wish I had his name but we told the manager he was fantastic) walking me through some of the favorites or different ways to order things being that it was my first time there. So I decided on the fried chicken sandwich with everything on the side and the green chile mac and cheese instead of fries. Wow, that was one of the best chicken sandwiches I've ever had. The bun complemented it perfectly and having everything on the side allowed me to experience it different ways with every bite... even with mac and cheese on it! Then the Mac and Cheese itself was awesome, the green chile was subtle enough to give it flavor but not spicy and the cheese was on a different level of cheesy! I am absolutely beyond happy with my experience from the atmosphere, service, and of course the food!! I can't wait to go back to try other stuff on the menu. As I mentioned they do have live music, outdoor cabanas that are available to rent, and a great family friendly environment, so check their website before you go to see what's going on and find the time and vibe that fits you... but definitely find that time!!! read more

We love Marty B's! Great patio/place for kids to run around. I had my 30th birthday party in one of the cabanas and the communication booking was fantastic and our servers were also great! Enjoy live music, play corn hole, or just have a casual drink outside. Bathrooms outside are also nice. The only downfall is they don't have the same menu for the patio as their menu on the inside of the restaurant, and I LOVE the baked potato with brisket--so I have to be seated indoors to get that! read more

Ribs and brisket were juicy and bbq just right but the jalapeño sausage was disappointing as it was bland. Chicken breast was a tad dry but the melted butter helped somewhat. Side house salads were great especially factoring in that they included chopped eggs, wedges of tomatoes, red onion, extra jalapeños when requested, and a good size. Grilled asparagus was delightful as those were plentiful and had a fajita like seasoning. I had a Hefeweizen which was so smooth it all went down my into my tummy because I had to cleanse my palate after tasting my hubby's food, naturally. read more

I'm new to the area and this is going to be my go-to entertainment place when I have visitors! They are a large restaurant with lots of other activities including bean bag toss, lots of outdoor seating, and a large stage in the back. You can even order s'mores supplies for dessert that you make at their fire pit. Not only is this atmosphere fun, but the food was really good. Next time I go back I want to try the nachos; they seemed to be a popular order! The only negative I would say is it can get pretty loud if eating inside. Its not a huge place considering its popularity. read more

Monday 7/15 - First time to visit Marty B's - not sure why this place is always packed unless it's because nothing else is in the area. Had the 3 meat plate which is overpriced for what you get. BBQ is marginal at best. Had brisket, ribs and sausage. Brisket was juicy but lacked flavor, ribs did not do anything for me and the sausage was tasty, The baked potato not warm enough to melt butter. Service was very good but the place is way to loud. Could not have a conversation with people at our table. Not sure I'll make it back. read more

Love Marty B's, we have only ever eaten or gotten drinks outside. It can be a little bit of a wait on a busy weekend but food and drinks are always great. Cheese fries are a must, half the time we fill up on them before ordering a meal. read more

We had a large party and the waiters (Beatrice and another quiet guy) were fantastic. They kept everything moving, food, drinks, and clean-up. Great service. Established in 2017.

Ever since Marty was a teenager learning the ropes in commercial kitchens decades ago, it's been his dream to create the establishment you stand in today. Inspired by family vacations in the Texas Hill Country, Marty made it his goal to share the warm, welcoming feelings and memorable moments he experienced there. He crafted each detail of the kitchen to ensure efficient, high quality service for his guests; serving delicious meals made with care and creativity. He chose the finest meats available from ranchers who never use hormones or antibiotics because they taste better and they're better for us. I've been going to 407 BBQ for many years and I'm well aware of his sign that says if you don't specify, you get what you get no returns lean or fatty. Well I did specify, but the hostess didn't write it down on my order. OK you know what I am disappointed as all hell but that's my mistake since I didn't look at the receipt. Fine, but if you look at the receipt where I ordered a pound of brisket to go that clearly says lean, and it's a hell of a lot closer to fatty than lean. Look at my pictures below. Maybe he felt they needed to be more mainstream? Who knows. With the proliferation of really stellar barbecue now available around DFW I can no longer recommend 407. Maybe he's got too many young kids maybe I'm not aware and he sold out. Maybe he's gone corporate. I'm not sure what's going on. Maybe there's something going on in his life I'm not aware of and he's preoccupied with that. But I think I'm done with 407. He could've easily responded to my yelp review on the mediocre taco disaster, but he didn't. He didn't attempt to make it right. I published my receipt and he can go back in his system and see who I am. He's got my full name and phone number, but I doubt he'll contact me. It's a shame when he was working out of a small wooden shack, there seemed to be a lot more care about Customer Service and Support. There's always my standby Angelo's downtown Fort Worth, North Texas smoke out near Decatur, which is actually closer to me than 407 but has limited hours. Hutchins in Trophy Club and Daynes's barbecue in Aledo. I wish Brian and the 407 crew all the best. Hopefully they get things back

We came during a very slow time around 2pm there were just 2 other tables in sight with a group of 8 servers standing and talking next to the computers. We waited about 15 minutes and when no one came to greet us i got the attention of a passing waitress. She looked annoyed that she was having to take care of a table that wasnt hers. She went and got the correct server and he was also in a bad mood like he wasnt happy to be there and make money.where are the managers while everyone is standing around not doing anything while a table is sitting left ungreeted. Came here for the grand opening and wow this place was packed!! My husband and I originally came to to sit at a table, but while waiting for about a 10 minute wait we fell in love with the bar staff and stayed with them all night instead! It's the first night being open so obviously there was some kinks in the kitchen, but Maddie and Corey did and awesome job of making sure everything was top tier for us while we waited. Once our food arrived we were even more surprised of how flavorful it was. All the way down to the croutons on the salad was perfect. The food is the best in the zip code guaranteed and well priced for its quality. The bar staff is witty, with a perfect personality. 10/10 recommend and definitely going to be the new hot spot! Marty B for President! Okay, that might be taking it a bit far... My family and I are frequent visitors here and have never had a subpar experience. The Brisket Queso is a must and is ordered every time we go! I have had every side and was delighted that they finally added Mashed Potatoes to the menu. The Grilled Chicken, BBQ, Steaks and Tacos are well seasoned and delicious! The service has always been fast, friendly and Marty himself stops by the tables from time to time to say Thank you. You just cannot find that anywhere anymore. The atmosphere is cool and always clean! I was in the Restaurant and Bar business for 20 years and now Manage Properties, so I look at everything when I am out and about. The foods takes too much time. The kids working there are not even making miniumn wage and they should be reported to child labor laws. The waiters and waitresses are making $150- $300 a shift and the bus boys and food runners are making $2.15 per hour and receiving $20-$30 tips for 7+ hour shifts...wrong and shows the owners do not care about their employees. The managers and owners are well aware of this fact since they collect the pool from wait staff and then give tips to food runners and bus boys. Not an establishment anyone should support. We could care less about atmosphere or anything else but the way you treat employees says more about your establishment and owner than anything. Not to mention it is against the law these kids are not making minmium wage! read more

We love this place! It's such a great addition to the Bartonville/Lantana/Argyle area. We've been a couple of times since it opened. The first time was during their opening week. Service was a little slow and chaotic, but what else would you expect during their first week in business? Went a second time and it was a much better experience. Both times the food has been outstanding. Love the filet, green chile mac n cheese, BBQ plates, brisket queso, street corn....everything is fantastic! We've heard rumblings from neighbors in Lantana that the live music is too loud for the neighborhoods across the street, but it ends promptly at 10pm. Hasn't been a problem in our neighborhood so I can't complain. We'll be customers of Marty B's for years to come! read more

The atmosphere is lively and fun, with plenty of space for groups, and the service was friendly and attentive without feeling rushed. This place is usually extremely busy but we still manage to get a table if we come a little earlier than the normal 6 or 7. The food is pretty consistent and delicious! Loved the filet, another time the bbq plate, the brisket stuffed baked potato was filling so tasty my mouth waters thinking about! I am also a big fan of their house ranch that has a little kick to it and needs to be bottled! I could go on cuz I've had their burgers, tacos and strawberry salad! I heard so much about Marty B's.... well based in the 1 star I was very disappointed. Service was very poor waitress was too busy to check back after the food was delivered. I ordered the 16 ounce ribeye steak cooked "Medium ". See attached photo of raw steak... My wife ordered the pork-chop , see photo of raw meat. Side dishes were average to below average. I adore this place! Fantastic experience all around. The atmosphere was relaxed and entertaining, the outdoor spaces are gorgeous. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was GREAT, I had the Texican Tamale Cake, Brisket Queso, and Ooey Gooey Toffee Treat and loved every bit of them all. The best part was that there are tons of things for the kids to do while the adults got to sit and talk, and took turns with the kids. Feb 2021 Marty Bs barbecue continues to get better! I have gotten takeout here - with wine and beer - twice in the past week. Moist brisket was excellent, ribs great, salads and sides fantastic. The street corn is a must and I would suggest the green beans too. The staff bringing the food out is spot on. They check and recheck to make sure your order is right. They are also fast. My friend and I had a super friendly waiter (Mike) and the BBQ platter was amazing! The BBQ didn't need any of the house sauce, but it was a plus. We were both upset that we didn't order ribs for our two meat platter because they were falling off the bone good! I like this place because the patio is an easy atmosphere for kids, but I went here with a group of coworkers, and 2 of them didn't get their food with everyone else...for about 30 minutes before I left, they waited and waited. That was not impressive. Sunday, 6 pm on the patio We had salmon and fajitas. The salmon was dry with way too much salt. The chicken for the fajitas was fresh. The toppings (cheese, sour cream, tomatoes) must have been outside too long. The graded cheese was clumped together. The guacamole was way too salty. For that price I expect better. read more

Marty B's is absolutely fantastic! The food is flavorful, fresh, and hits every note just right. The service is friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere makes you want to stay a while. Honestly, everything about this place exceeded my expectations--I can't recommend it enough! Definitely a spot I'll be coming back to again and again. read more

Best restaurant in the area. Awesome drinks, atmosphere, great service, great steaks and bbq. couldn't ask for much more from a Restaurant. Ordered the NY Strip and it was excellent, brisket queso was on point, Cucumber Lemonade was one of the best drinks I have ever had. Wife had the brisket and it was the best she's ever had. read more

Marty's is fantastic! The food is amazing! The atmosphere is fun. I've never had poor service and we've been here 20 times or so. Plus, Marty is awesome! How many other restaurant owners are consistently onsite and checking on everything? Not many! I can't imagine why anyone would give this place a bad review. read more
