The chef here is amazing. Everything we ate was delicious. The ingredients were fresh, cooked and seasoned perfectly. We had samosa and Punjabi papdi chat to start. Chicken korma and dum gobhi aloo with an order of roti. Bravo. Finally a great Indian restaurant in the area. The room is lovely. Nice wall hangings. Although a little warm even with 2 portable fans. We will absolutely return

I finally got to try Masala Delight and let me tell you it was delightful. Everything was delicious and the staff was great. The light music playing in the background was very welcoming and relaxing. The butter chicken was delicious and also got the lamb shank. We will definitely be back. Welcome to the neighborhood and thank you for a great meal.

Lunch special butter chicken with dal makhani. Also came with naan (not shown).

So happy to see an Indian place open up here. Came in for lunch. Ordered two lunch specials and an extra Haryali Tikka. Nice decor and pleasant service. The butter chicken was good, the dal makhani was great. The tikka was soft and tender and mildly spiced. I'm from Delhi, the chef is from Delhi, and I can tell you that this is authentic food. And, the lunch special is a great deal if you want to try a few different dishes. We came in early at noon, by 1pm (on a Thursday) nearly all the tables were full. I can't wait to go back and try some more menu items.

We tried the Punjabi Papdi Chaat, the Duck Pepper Roll, the chicken Tikka Masala and the Palak Chicken. All very good. The regular spicy is not too spicy. The restaurant was crowded with a lot of people wanting to try it on a Friday evening. Even so, the service didn't suffer. Definitely worth a try!! I will be back.

Two friends and I went to dinner at Suko Restaurant on Middle Neck Road. When we arrived, I asked if we could sit outside, and the owner had no problem with that. While we were enjoying our meal, one of my friends mentioned that the edamame needed a little more salt. Seeing the owner outside, I politely asked if we could have some salt. To my shock, he suddenly started yelling at me and told me that I was being rude. At first, I thought he was joking, so I responded, "Can you imagine how rude I am to my husband?" His response was completely inappropriate and offensive. He said that if he were my husband, he would slap me on my behind over and over again in a sensual manner and that I would enjoy every moment of it. My friends and I were absolutely stunned. When I asked him to stop and bring us the check, he then said that "you Jews always give me problems." A few minutes later, after I told the waitstaff that I intended to share my experience on GN Mommies, he came over with hot sake to apologize. He even offered to refund our meal, but I declined. I don't want anything from someone who makes hateful remarks about Jews. After living in Great Neck for 40 years, I have never experienced anything like this. As a Jewish resident, I was deeply offended by both the inappropriate sexual comments and the anti-Semitic remark. I will never set foot in this restaurant again.

The restaurant has crisp white tablecloths, and the bathroom is always spotless and well maintained. It's a comfortable and inviting place to enjoy a nice dinner. The entire staff has always been attentive, courteous, and welcoming. Tonight, we had Johnny, Alex, and Miki, who worked very well together. Everything flowed seamlessly, and they made us feel truly valued and well taken care of. The food is consistently good, as are the drinks. Tonight, we shared a House Mule, which was refreshing, delicious, and a great way to start our meal. For dinner, I had the Crunchy Seafood Fried Rice without XO sauce and the Buddha's Claypot, a vegetable dish. Hubby had the General Tso Chicken. All three dishes were flavorful, satisfying, and well prepared. I even had some of the fried rice left over to take home for tomorrow! Once again, we left happy. That's exactly why we keep coming back to Moonstone.

Confirmed I would be back for sushi and picked Valentine's Day to try it out. Not surprised place was jam packed when I arrived. Online order promised 20 minutes, I showed up a couple of minutes after that to see a bag making its way out of the kitchen. To my pleasant surprise that bag was indeed my food! Timing was great. Sushi was well assembled, had good flavor. Would be back again. Only little thing was got the tom yum soup with shrimp. It literally had 1 shrimp. Big. But single shrimp little bit disappointing. Overall great experience. Might be my new go to sushi spot!

Salmon roll the fish was old and tasted like it should have been thrown out two days ago!! Who The F would serve that!! Boston roll was horrible lettuce too much fake crab bad. And they didn't provide soy sauce plates so it made for a shitty all around experience. Tuna roll acceptable I get better sushi at Stew Lenard's !! Go here for great sushi comparatively!! At a better price!! My wife had chicken teriyaki it was swimming with sauce and her salad was the size of a tangerine. Not even a tangelo. Miso soup vile!! Don't waste your money. Better value can be had almost anywhere else. Maybe go back to being the Planview Diner

But what missed the mark for me was the "room for improvement" on a few things. The ramen was decent, broth was not packing enough umami for me. The extra noodle portion was ample. Overall the ramen just lacked that oomph factor but it's a decent noodle soup otherwise. The other item was the poke bowl we ordered. It sounded great on the menu but arrived a bit disappointing. The bowl was only half full and skimpy on the rice and ingredients in general. While it offers so many choices and includes a variety of items in three categories - it doesn't justify the portion. I believe you get more at standard poke place. Now onto my sashimi deluxe. It came with a bowl of rice but not with miso soup. I realized it when I got the bill. Many places have entrees that come with soup or salad (my bad for assuming). Overall food was good so no complaints there. I just wished the proportion was to par. On that note, I've ordered from them many times for home delivery and they are very good with packaging and delivery times. Despite my rating on this visit, it's still a solid spot to dine in.

The Malaysian-style red curry with seasonal vegetables, roti, and grilled shrimp, served with brown rice, was equally flavorful and well executed. Prices reflect the quality--and it shows. Also, early on, we had a little service issue that was tacitly resolved in our favor. We only wanted to order appetizers at first and later order the main courses. The server told us words to the effect that they take the order for everything at the same time because if later the restaurant is packed, the kitchen gets overwhelmed, and, also, they bring out the food whenever it's ready. As requested, we gave her our order for everything, but ultimately she was able to just serve the appetizers first and then pause until we were done with them before she brought out the main courses. My wife wanted a sweet white wine with her fish, like a Mosel. The closest they said they had was a fruity white Riesling, called Selbach/Incline, which turned out to be very fruity and delicious!
