Georgetown~ For having such horrible reviews, this place was packed and the food was pretty darn yummy! There were five of us for dinner this evening. We were seated quickly and served right away. All of us had something different for our entrées. Some of us had Carnitas, some of us had enchiladas, some of us had a stuffed avocado, some of us had tacos, BUT all of us decided that our entrées were delicious! Beans and rice were uninspiring but edible. Chips were light and delicious. I can't say anything about the salsa because it was too spicy for me, but that is a problem! lol Margaritas were flowing and very well made. Not the best Mexican food I've ever had, seeing how I'm from California, but pretty tasty.

Had a chance to visit the "MAs" as it is one of my wife's local favorites. She really loves the Cheese Enchiladas lunch plate. I like the Carne Guisada lunch or platter. The service is exceptional. From the host that seats you, to the server taking our order, to the runner that brings your food. The food is always fresh, hot and full of flavor. The menu has a nice variety of creative Tex-Mex selections. Our server today was Lizette or maybe Lizeth. She was so helpful in helping us choose items and so funny. Always checked in on us and helped us pack our things to go. She went above and beyond. MasFajitas is a Georgetown favorite. I see such a diverse crowd here, and in Tuesdays you better get here early. "Taco Tuesday" is well received here. Come on down and visit. You'll love it. Michael C. - Georgetown, Tx.

Lunch combo one chicken taco with one enchilada, rice and beans

I visited this restaurant for the first time today. My husband and I went for lunch. The decor is extremely casual. They have six TVs all showing something different. This is great for somebody who wants to watch basketball and soccer and football all at the same time. The service was good. Our waiter was very attentive and helpful. The prices are reasonable. They have a happy hour menu with ground beef or chicken tacos for $.99 on Tuesday. However, their tacos don't have much flavor so I'm not interested in taco Tuesday. I ordered off of the lunch menu and I had a combo which is one enchilada and one taco with rice and beans and it was $12. My husband had steak tacos, rice, and beans and he said that the steak was way overcooked. It looked overcooked. He did not enjoy it. The food was just OK. I ate until I wasn't hungry and then I let the rest go to the trash. It did not taste bad; It was just blah. The chips and salsa were good. The iced tea was fine. I would never invite someone to this restaurant. I won't be back.

We love coming to Masfajitas. The service is always great sometimes it's busy sometimes it's slow. Our service is always great. 99 cent tacos on Tuesdays with a beverage or a great taco salad. The fajitas are great too. I think they have a margarita special on Wednesdays we'd love going for lunch and dinner.

It's good. They used to do Taco Tuesday. I'm guessing they still do. Food is tasty and the chips/salsa are excellent. They recently remodeled and it's quite nice. Margaritas are very good. Karaoke happy hour on Friday nights after 9p

UPDATE: The beer is here and so is the cheer, distributor probs are gone. This restaurant has developed such a comfortable atmosphere, It's obvious; 1) People like returning here as regulars and 2) The employees have been here long enough to appreciate their regulars. Onviously, the management treats the staff well enough to keep them for extended amounts of time. Tuesday's can -- strike that -- will be crowded. Taco Tuesday is a massive hit here and you can feed a family on the cheap with the prices. But the quality is still there all the way around., Delicious, family friendly, affordable and welcoming,

This restaurant is located in a strip center with plenty of seating and a full bar with 6 flats screens. Once seated, they bring complementary chips and salsa. Their red salsa is mildly spicy, but quite good and the chips are thin and crispy. We got here at 3 o'clock in the afternoon and discovered the lunch menu goes til 4pm. We ordered a couple of jumbo frozen margaritas which were great values. I had the lunch beef fajitas, which were perfectly cooked and very tender paired with their homemade flour tortillas. The chicken salad had plenty of pulled chicken. For the money, this place is worth stopping into, however, when they present you with the handheld device to pay, it does not list what you ordered, it merely gives you the final figure.

I spoke to Mario the owner about food for my wedding and he was very professional and kind. I ended up getting shrimp , beef , chicken , veggie fajitas. All the guest at my wedding couldn't stop talking about how amazing the food was! It was so good there was no left overs! We ate every bit. I want to thank Mario for making my wedding over the top delicious!!!

Best crema enchiladas in Georgetown, Texas! Fast service, better than generous bag of really thin chips included, too! I'll be back often.

We had an early dinner so the restaurant wasn't too terribly busy and the ambience was nice. We could talk to each other without having to speak too loudly. My husband enjoyed watching soccer on the television. Our server promptly gave us menus. Got us waters, chips, two salsas and some guacamole. My husband ordered shrimp enchiladas and I got chicken Flautas and my husband got a strawberry margarita. The food came out hot and quickly. We enjoyed it immensely & the guacamole was fantastic. My husband loved his margarita, but I had to drive home! Ha ha. And to top it off, dinner is very affordable here. Their prices are very good. Our server was Angie and she was amazing. She was very attentive to my meal because she had the knowledge of my food allergies. Our service was so good that I'm going to ask for Angie every time I come here. Since I have to be so careful when I eat because I get horribly sick if I eat any cheese or sour cream, it's nice to be confident that I can eat here without worry because Angie's got my back! She really made a difference in my experience at this restaurant. Thanks Angie:)

Coffee was good and came when I ran low. I ordered the poblano omelette which I thought would be spicier, but it was still delicious! I've been told to not go to restaurants on Sundays or Mondays as that is when the chefs take their days off, but not here. Lots of open tables, chips and dos salsas came quickly . I had the Memos special , which is fajita meat cut up mixed with onions, bell Peppers and jalapeños, I added bacon. Man it was good! I got the Charro beans which were outstanding! As was the rice. It was a great dinner! I'm going to ask for more jalapeños next time....

I mentioned to my wife that these kinds of places often have kitchens and boy we were in luck. The man in charge, Albert, descended on us and started simultaneously asking what we wanted to order AND praising the virtues of his tamales, among other things. But he had me at "Birria". After being introduced to birria tacos by my lifelong friend, Joel, I have been a huge fan ever since. So we called an audible and decided to get an order for takeout (Albert could convince you to buy anything, I think). We got two orders of Corn QuesaBirria Tacos and the Jalapeño Popper Specialty Taco. Both were great and I especially liked the Birria Tacos, even eating my wife's portion... "You going to eat that?" Outside of the corner kitchen, convenience store is great, with all of the different varieties of foods, beers and other items that you would expect at Mexican convenience store.

The food is good but I, personally, don't think I can eat here again. The tacos are greasy and I think whatever they use to cook gives me really bad gas (bloating). The restaurant has many tables and there's enough room around the tables so one can talk comfortably without being overheard, I like that. There's plenty of room around the tables for a wheelchair and it's easy to get through the restaurant with a wheelchair, which is nice. The bathroom has railings on both sides so a person in the wheelchair can get in and out easily. There's handicapped parking right in front. My mother's in a wheelchair, so this is very helpful for me. The food is really good. The chips and salsa are great! The coffee and tea are wonderful. I just can't say enough nice things about this restaurant. I'll be back on Sunday!

Mhm I was expecting…read moreso much more than the experience I received during my most recent visit. When I arrived, the restaurant was almost empty, which was strange to me, given the early evening hour and past visits. This place has been jampacked, standing room only. The slogan on the wall "Andamos Al Cien" Is a great goal for the bar area, but on my visit, it fell woefully short. The house margarita was barely drinkable, although the presentation was nice, the actual beverage itself in the glass was something less desirable/drinkable. The bartender commented when I ordered my next margarita, with specific ingredients, he said that should make a much better beverage than what you had the last time. Although, It was better, it was not a a great drink, it was not well balanced, something was off. The food itself, the chicken fajita quesadillas was very average food, and I have to question the chicken fajita component. The chicken did not taste that great and it tasted and appeared to be more like a shredded chicken than a fajita chicken. The flavor just wasn't up to the standard of what I have come to know and expect from a great chicken fajita. Service itself, was OK, but nothing spectacular. The bartender did a decent job of keeping my alcoholic beverage needs filled, but my water glass did not receive the attention it deserved and I had to frequently ask for it to be refilled, when I would expect that your normal server/bartender would see that it was empty and either refill it or ask if it needed to be refilled instead of waiting for me to bring it to their attention Super friendly, bartender, and I have heard great things about their food, so I am thinking I may have just caught them on an off night and will give them another chance. If this place was jampacked like it normally is, I think my experience would have been much different.

I went here with a large group (10) on Sunday last weekend. We went during Happy Hour (3-6p daily)…read morewhen their margaritas/beer/wine and appetizers were all $2 off. This is a very scenic and modern upscale restaurant near the heart of downtown Georgetown. The interior is nicely appointed and understatedly elegant. The inside and outside restaurant and bar areas are expansive but easily outstrip the provided parking. There is also street parking nearby, but don't be surprised if you wind up walking from nearby public lots or garages. I can easily see this place being packed. We had a reservation and were promptly seated and offered water service. As with most Mexican restaurants, there's an expansive menu, so we ordered drinks while we perused the menu. I found the Encantada margarita to be quite tasty, but it was a bit expensive. At $11 for a single serving with house liquors, closer to what we've come to expect locally for a Mexican martini (theirs was $18 with house, $24 with call). That's a bit over-the-top IMHO. We were offered complimentary chips and salsa; I remember the chips to be excellent, and the red salsa just right for my taste, but others remarked that it was too spicy. Our waitress (Paulina) joked that the only thing less spicy was their ketchup. They also have a green salsa, which is even spicier, but that we all skipped. The food menu has a lot of chef-inspired offerings. I tried the Grilled Chicken Tacos (Grilled Chicken, Cilantro, Onion, Fresco Cheese) at $16. I had one on flour and one on corn to taste the difference in tortillas with the same ingredients, along with a side bowl of black beans. I found them flavorful but also on the small side for the price. Additional tacos are $5 each. No rice was offered. This was one of their least expensive plates. We had a great time and our drink and food service was nothing less than excellent, but I couldn't help but come away feeling that, for a check that tabbed in just under $100 (with tip) we should have had a fuller tummy. Would we come back? Maybe. We'll have to explore their other options and perhaps graze more off the appetizer menu; however, less than $5 separate most of their appetizers from their plate dinners. This is a place to go for a culinary and visual experience, not an everyday meal.

I noticed they had…read morechanged their name and thought they might have made some improvements, so I decided to give it a try with my family. We went on a Friday and had about a 45-minute wait, which wasn't an issue. I would recommend making a reservation if you're planning to go on the weekend. Once we were checked in, our experience was great. I sincerely wish I remembered our server's name--it was something like Jeane or George--but he was excellent. Truly some of the best service I've experienced. He went above and beyond, recommended popular dishes, and even guaranteed that if we didn't like them, he would take care of it. To my surprise, he was absolutely right. All the appetizers and entrées were great. I ordered a burger, which isn't what you'd typically expect at a Mexican restaurant, but it ended up being one of the best burgers I've had in the area. My wife had the fajitas, and we also shared queso with chips and a sampler of chips and dips--everything was excellent. I'll definitely be coming back to try more items and hope we get the same level of service again.
