I visited Mashawi for the first time today for lunch with a business colleague. Wasn't sure what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised. When you first walk in, it feels like a really high-end restaurant which made me second guess my choice for just going to lunch. The lunch was top-shelf and the food is served similarly to a Brazilian Steak house, but all Mediterranean food. $25 for a lot of food with tremendous variety. I think they basically served their entire menu in small dishes, so you can have a little of everything which is something I love. Chicken, Beef, hummus, sauces, salads, skewers, etc...too much to name. Food was all first class with flavor off the charts....and love the interior design. It's like going to a foreign, enchanted country for an adventurous lunch. Very friendly staff and super clean. Would highly recommend for a business lunch or nice dinner. You wouldn't be out of place in a nice dress or a business suit because this place is first class. read more

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and outstanding service. The staff was incredibly attentive, making sure every detail of the dining experience was perfect. But the real star of the show? The food. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The meats were incredibly juicy and tender, bursting with authentic spices that made each bite an experience in itself. And then there was the mint lemonade--an absolute must-try. It was perfectly balanced, refreshing, and the ideal complement to the meal. I only have one complaint--I wish they would open a location in Orlando! There's truly no place like this in the area, and I'd love to have a spot like Mashawi closer to home. If you're ever in Georgia, do yourself a favor and visit Mashawi. Friday, we stopped to experience a new Mediterranean restaurant for lunch out of curiosity. Mashawi Mediterranean (new to the area) did not disappoint. It was excellent right from the start!! The ambiance of the decor was very welcoming to the senses. It felt of great quality. The service was outstanding; the server insured that we understood the menu. For one price, we would a sampling of everything that they offered. All came out in small plates served family style. It was so much food and everything was delicious and of great quality. The chef was wonderful and confident about his cooking skill. The five of us agree. The food was so good and satisfying we could not contain the joy of what we were eating to ourselves. He deserves a hand!! Thank you to all, the Chef, the servers and the beautiful smile we received coming in the front door. Mashawi Grill is not comparable to places like Fogo de Chão or Passador Brazilian Steakhouse. While they offer table-side meat service, the overall experience falls short. The meat selection is limited, and the cuts brought around are not particularly impressive. More importantly, the flavor was lacking -- nothing stood out, and it honestly felt like something you could prepare at home with better seasoning. On top of that, the service was disappointing. Instead of being attended to properly, you have to go to the front counter to pay, where the staff didn't even offer a basic greeting and came across as unwelcoming. For a bill of $145 for two dinners and three drinks, the experience simply didn't match the price. I loved it because literally a nice spot aesthetic inside the service here for how they deliver you the food on a stick like when it comes to the meat so creative and unique I loved the kebabs, the lamb, the shrimp the salmon that they gave us. The shrimp was my favorite the green salad that come from Mediterranean and Palestinian types of dishes were so yummy the hummus the bread the salads, the beet salad everything was fresh each sauce was so good their lemon, mint juice and their orange carrot juice so good. Went for lunch today with a very picky brother and best friend. We were greeted and seated immediately. The concept is family style and the selection was spot on. Meats, salads and dips all high quality, perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of olive oil. I loved the food, the pita bread is soft on one side, toasted with a hint of garlic on the other.....perfect with our meal. I enjoyed the feel of the restaurant, the music was soft enough so you could actually talk with one another. Coffee and dessert to finish. Hats off to the Chef! I plan to be a regular. I've been going since they first opened and i adore it! the food is authentic and takes you right back to the middle east. the food is perfectly cooked, perfectly seasoned, and taste amazing. when you eat the food you can tell it's made authentically. The staff is also very sweet and tentative! The structure of the restaurant is also beautiful. the decor and look is very pretty and very welcoming which is something i always look for in restaurants. when we have friends and family come from out of town we always bring them here and they love it everytime, they will still talk about it.
