Stopped by Master Oh's after work & will definitely be going back soon! Their evening service opens at 5 which was perfect timing & we were quickly sat even though we had a larger group. They have a solid amount of seating & more space than you'd think looking at the outside. The menu had a variety of Korean dishes, many which I haven't seen at other spots in South Bay so of course we had to try them! My favorites were the Spicy Raw Marinated Crab & the Tteokbokki w Ramyun.

This place has my favorite seafood pancake so far. Super crispy, full of seafood. Their stone bowl bibimbap is pretty good too. This might be personal preference (and my first time with clam soup), but I thought their clam soup was lacking in intensity of flavor. The hand torn dough was good though. Parking is limited in the front, but there is more parking in the back. The restaurant definitely fills up though even on a Tuesday.

Tried Master Oh's for lunch and everything was delicious! We ordered the soy-marinated crab set, kalbi tang, and grilled croaker set. The marinated crab was surprisingly fresh and perfectly seasoned, definitely a favorite. The banchan were good too, although they had run out of the bok choy kimchi (or wtvr it's called...) There were only two people working, so service was a little slow, but they worked efficiently and kept things moving. It's a bit of a drive for us, but definitely worth it. Would come back again if we're in the neighborhood!

Soy sauce marinated crab is a treat and this is one of the few places where it's available. It comes a la cart or in a seafood platter that includes 3 crabs (2 soy sauce, 1 spicy), 4 shrimp, and 4 abalone. Friday lunch had seating and steady crowd. Good, quick service.

Master Oh's has a clean, sleek, spacious interior with Korean decor. There's a scent of Korean cooking wafting in from the kitchen to the dining room. SERVICE was friendly, helpful and attentive. Dishes are made to order. FOOD was fresh and delicious: 5/5 Grilled Mackerel - crispy, tender, that came w a Soybean Stew which was piping hot, savory w clams and tofu 5/5 Spicy Raw Crab w Roe - cold, gelatinous, soft crab, spicy-sweet gochugaru - a unique squeeze and slurp experience

What a nice place to get the raw marinated crab and shrimp. Fresh, flavorful and tastes great. The Galbijin was also good. They give service with a smile and the food reminds me of crab from Korea.

    Clam kalguksoo
    Anna T.

Food 4/5 We ordered the gamjatang and clam kalguksoo. For the price of $22, the gamjatang is a steal! It came with four pieces of pork and a lot of cabbage. They also put a generous amount of perilla seeds which makes the soup flavorful. It came with a bowl of white rice and a bowl of barley rice. The clam kalguksoo broth was light, but the gamjatang was so overpowering that I could barely taste the clam soup after. The kalguksoo noodle wasn't bouncy and chewy so I would not re-order. Service 3.5/5 Came on a Saturday around 3pm so it wasn't very busy, yet it was hard to flag down anyone to refill our banchan. Standards service here with the initial water and taking your orders. Ambiance 4/5 It is quite spacious but the lighting was quite dark in some areas. A typical standard Korean restaurant with no aesthetic decors. If you're there, you're there for the food.

    My self-servings of banchan

I recently saw Master Oh's on Yelp and wanted to go. Luckily, tonight, I got my opportunity as some coworkers and I had dinner here. The ambience is modern, clean, and nicely decorated. Two separate single-user men and women's restrooms. They take the space where Moo Bong Ri and later The Bapsang used to be. The parking is ok but could be challenging. The service was super friendly and attentive. A variety of different banchan. Beef Tartare (5/5) - served with a raw egg, julienned cucumbers and Korean pear. The portion size was huge. You could taste the light sesame oil and it was very tender. Pork Backbone Stew (4/5) - lightly spicy, and flavorful. You could really taste the hint of sesame oil and perilla leaves. This was my first time trying this stew. Grilled Beef Short Ribs (4/5) - grilled to perfection and seasoned well. Seafood Pancake (5/5) - served with a soy chili dipping sauce. The pancake was crispy, crunchy, and filled with seafood. It was really good. I'd come back. Support your local business.

    Galbi Jim
    Saya H.

The galbi Jim is not worth the price of $80. Barely any meat, and all the meat was mostly fat. The sauce was too sweet and salty and I was sick of it in a few bites. I do not recommend getting this. The soy marinated crab was ok at best. I couldn't really taste the crab when I mixed it with the rice. I wouldn't get this either. The only good thing was the cold noodles. Nice with vinegar and would get again but I probably won't be visiting this place again.

Came here for lunch on weekday. It's quite quiet. Their banchan (small dishes) is really amazing, they offer 8 different types, and all of them were delicious. We had Beef Short Rib Soup, it's flavorful soup with very tender and tasty meat. Highly recommended! Bibim Naengmyeon: cold noodle is perfect for hot summer day. We asked for the spicy sauce on the side, it's super refreshing. Korean Beef Pancake was quite disappointing. It was bland, oily, and the beef inside was kind of dry. They have a weekday lunch special (Monday-Thursday), good for a quick lunch.

One of the few places in the area to serve soy marinated crab. I personally prefer the soy crab over spicy so I really wanted to try it here. We came on Tuesday 6pm and there were plenty of tables available but they filled up quickly after we sat down. The banchan came out soon after we ordered and the food didn't take too long to come either. Here's my take on the food: **Soy marinated crab: I was pleasantly surprised that there was roe in the crab! Very fresh. I wish the marinade was sweeter. Also enjoyed the fish roe rice bowl that came with it but I think I could've used a bit more rice since the crab was more savory. **Spicy marinated crab: Seemed to be a bigger portion than the soy crab but it was different type of crab. This marinade was too sweet imo. ** Bossam: Pretty standard and tasty but the large size wasn't very large. Service was so friendly and sweet. We did have to ask multiple times to get a refill on banchan and by the time it came out, we had finished our main dishes already. The parking lot here is usually tough to find a spot but maybe because we beat the dinner rush, there was plenty.

My daughter wanted to try raw marinated crab for her 21st birthday. She found Master Oh's and they did not disappoint. All the food we ordered was delicious, down to the banchan. The food is made fresh and served hot. I especially liked the crust on the seafood pancake. It's different than what I'm used to, in a good way. The servers took excellent care of us. Checked on us frequently. Had no problems answering our questions and giving recommendations. I was told they get pretty busy on the weekends, but we were there in the middle of the week so it was fine. Most of the tables were taken up at some point in the night, though. It's a casual place to eat and drink while you eat like a normal Korean hang out. The crab wasn't something I was particularly interested in, but it exceeded my expectations. It came with seasoned rice which all went together nicely. The other grilled items we ordered were also delicious. So basically what I'm trying to say is, we had a good time with good food and we'd all come back again!

    Crab

Spicy Marinated Raw Crab -- This was my favorite! The spicy version comes with several crabs Soy Sauce Marinated Crab -- This is one of the restaurant's signature dishes. The crab was super fresh! It also comes with rice mixed with fish roe, which was absolutely delicious. Marinated Raw Shrimp -- The shrimp were pretty big, and each order came with four. They were good, but personally I liked the crab much more. Seafood Pancake

The modern decor is nice and sleek. Whereas the vibe is bustling and welcoming. We ordered the combo of 2 pounds of shrimp with heads on, garlic noodles, and 2 steamed rice. The seafood boil came out in a large silver bowl instead of the usual large clear bag. I found this to be much better in presentation. Everything was so delicious. The captain Loui sauce was so flavorful and sweet. The shrimp were plump and juicy. Garlic noodles were tasty. A couple of saucy yummy corn and potato were found in the bowl which was a good surprise. Overall we enjoyed our experience at Cap't Loui. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The combo options were a great deal. Free Ice cream popsicles for dessert were a nice surprise at the end. We really enjoy going to the Cupertino location as we prefer the vibe and delightful ambiance. We were greeted kindly by the hostess and seated to our liking. Our server Frederico (sp?) was superb! He was knowledgeable about the menu items, friendly and approachable and he was very attentive. We started off with a drink and steamed edamame. My husband had a watermelon mule and I had my usual Shark fin. Both really good! If you like a cocktail with a little bit of sweetness to it, Either one is great. I believe the watermelon mule is a summer seasonal drink. The edamame may be a simple appetizer, however it is perfectly steamed and a great addition to a cocktail. I ordered the house salad which I really enjoy. It not your ordinary house salad. It has shiitake mushrooms, tomatoes, edamame, sprouts, miso dressing over greens. So god and well placed together. I also ordered the grilled salmon chowder and what an amazing mixture of flavors. So delicious! My husband ordered the Verlasso Salmon with Thai Brussells sprouts and creamy mashed potatoes. He really enjoyed the combination of flavors. We followed our meal with their signature coffee and we split a Crispy Dulce de Leche (banana cheesecake) spring roll with a scoop of vanilla ice cream with caramel sauce. Oh my goodness....so amazingly delicious! Overall a great experience especially being treated well by the server, the food runner, and the table busser person. The steak taco had a slightly spicy chipotle-type sauce on it that gave it a nice flavor. The cod taco had a big piece of fish lightly breaded with a different kind of sauce that was also very good. I'm surprised by how much I enjoyed the side salad. I'm not much of a garden salad person, but the salad was extremely fresh with delicious edamame and miso dressing. I loved it. My friend also had the two taco platter, but she chose a sea bass taco with pineapple and a breaded shrimp taco with black beans and fries as sides. She enjoyed it. The waiter explained to us it was his first day and was attentive and polite. One dish came out incorrect, and he apologized profusely and took it back to the kitchen immediately to be fixed. It wasn't a big deal. I'll definitely be back to Pacific Catch.
