I have tried the Salted Cheese White Champaca Matcha, Guava Matcha, and Oolong Matcha. Pretty solid each time. Great location

We tried the hojicha latte float and the hojicha & black sesame gelato. hojicha latte float - 10/10, the drink itself is not too sweet, creamy and has a nice hojicha flavor. the ice cream has a bold, roasted taste that enhances the tasted of the latte.very delicious. hojicha & black sesame gelato - 10/10, both flavors are amazing. the hojicha has a nice roasted flavor while the black sesame is nutty. both gelatos are creamy and have a great level of sweetness. Before getting your drinks/ gelato, you need to order through one of the kiosks. When we ordered, staff were friendly helping us decide on our gelato; moreover, our drink came out quickly soon after we decided on our gelato. The interior gives off a bougie vibe that is clean and classy. Not too much seating, like two tables with few chairs. Overall, although somewhat pricey, drinks/gelato were delicious and would come back again.

We came across this place online and realized it was practically right next to our house, so after washing our car today, we decided to stop by for a little treat. This location used to be a Jamba Juice, but it's been transformed into a really cute and inviting shop. Ordering was easy through the kiosk. My daughter tried the new Strawberry Matcha, and I ordered a Matcha Latte with oat milk. One thing that pleasantly surprised me was that there wasn't an extra charge for oat milk, which seems pretty rare these days. We noticed a sign outside saying you get a discount on your first order if you use the app. We ended up ordering at the kiosk instead, so we missed out. It would be nice if the discount also applied to first-time kiosk orders. Everything on the menu looked delicious. The ice cream and cakes especially caught our attention. The cakes looked beautiful, although they were a bit on the pricey side. We'll definitely be back to try them another time. My daughter said the Strawberry Matcha was better than many of the other places we've tried, which is saying a lot. I enjoyed my Matcha Latte, but this one didn't wow me, so I think I'll try a different drink next time to find my favorite. Overall, a great addition to the neighborhood, and we'll definitely be back!

I've been wanting to try Matcha Town since they opened their Cupertino location. When I saw this one near HMart, I took the chance to try it out! Fortunately, when we went on a Sunday afternoon, the line wasn't bad at all, and service was quick! Matcha town offers a selection of drinks and gelato. My partner and I wanted to make sure we got a taste of it all! First, we ordered a regular cup of their gelato and got their hojicha and no. 1 matcha flavors (we sampled hojicha, jasmine matcha, no. 1 matcha, and pineapple & passionfruit). From what we tried, their gelato flavors were really good! I really wish they had their different levels of matcha gelato when I went. Next time, I also want to try the white champaca. For drinks we got their salted cheese matcha float with jasmine matcha gelato and their matcha latte with oat milk. Both were solid! The salted cheese matcha float with jasmine matcha gelato was definitely more of a sweet treat, and it was yummy. I got 70% sweetness which is good if you're craving something sweet, but for me, I feel like I could personally go down to 50% next time. My partner got his matcha latte with 100% sweetness, and he really enjoyed it.

It was my first time here. I used to always come to this plaza to go to HMart with my parents. I ordered on a kiosk and then went in line to get my gelato. I ordered a regular cup of gelato and it was a total of $8.25 for it. It was a very small cup and I didn't know I had to choose 2 flavors of gelato. I wish I could choose only one flavor for the regular cup because I just wanted matcha gelato. I would come here again. It reminded me of the matcha gelato I got in Japan and I was craving matcha gelato.

Matcha Town has opened in my neighborhood. I love to see new businesses popping up and wanting to try them. They are located in the same plaza as H Mart, Ono Hawaiia n, California Fish Grill but closer to Starbucks and Panda Express. The parking is challenging in this stripmall. The interior is modern and simple with a few tables to sit at. It's definitely a grab and go feeling. Order via kiosks. I ordered the... Pink Guava Matcha: Guava Milk + matcha cheese foam (4/5). Flavorful and fragrant. A nice change from all the milktea or fruit tea places. Support your local business.

New location! Yaassss!!!! I've been to the Cupertino branch several times, so Matcha Town is not new to me. I was thrilled to find out anther Matcha Town was open near me. However all I tried was the Gelato, nary have I dabbled in their other items. Thought I'd change up this time... ~ SALTED CHEESE SERIES: - Salted Cheese White Champaca Matcha - 5/5 (0% sugar) I wasn't so sure about getting no sugar. LIFE changing decision... this was still absolutely amazing. Salted Cheese foam on the top with perfectly balanced hints of White Champaca and Matcha. BRAVO! I definitely gotta try the entire drink menu now...lol I'm not sure how many other Boba spots offer 0 % sugar, but I'm happy this is an option here and the drinks are still brilliant! Trying to trim down, and sugar is definitely the enemy! lol This location doesn't have the crazy lines yet. I don't think this Matcha Town has quite been discovered by folks as yet... Not that I'm complaining, as the parking is already a problem in the North Park Plaza. On the weekend or peak hours good luck with parking, place gets jam packed. Just like the Cupertino location, there is a bit of room to stand around inside and a table or two along with a bench. I suppose they don't want you to hang out inside. Orders are placed through the kiosk. The staff were fast and efficient. My drink came out fairly fast. Needless to say... I'll be back!

Definitely my new go to for matcha! I enjoy the options to have no sweetness and alternate milk choices. Definitely a plus for that. The matcha has a great flavor and you can taste the matcha. I tried all the drinks and enjoy the salted cheese topping and the guava while the smell and taste were great, it was too sweet and you can't reduce how sweet the guava is. I like zero sugars in my drinks esp matcha and guava can be greatly reduce for the minimal amount of sugar needed and increased by choice but you can't modify the guava since it's premade. It's ok, I skip the guava and stick to the cheese series or basic matcha latte. While the drinks are great, the indoor atmosphere can get very loud bc the noise inside from music is way too loud and annoying when you can't even have a convo inside. There's limited seating so people stand and talk to one another really loudly. The music needs to be modify to lower setting it's really the biggest problem for me. While they push the drinks out quickly and correctly, I give them an overall great matcha place just not to sit and have a convo.

It's great to see another Matcha Town location open in the Bay Area (the other is located in Cupertino). I was craving gelato and had this spot bookmarked. Food/Drinks I was able to sample several gelato flavors before ordering, which made it easier to pair down my choices. Small Gelato (2 Scoops): Flavors - Matcha 1.0 & Creamy Rice The Matcha 1.0 gelato has a lighter amount of matcha, was smooth with rich matcha flavor notes. The Creamy Rice gelato had bits of rice grains and a subtle, milky sweetness that was a nice hybrid. One small cup is shareable between 2 - 3 people. Pink Guava Matcha (100% Sweetness) I was initially hesitant to order this since I typically lean toward non-fruity flavors; the rave reviews made me do it. The drink must be stirred well for the guava to blend evenly with the matcha. The drink combination made it surprisingly creamy, a nice balance of fruity guava, and earthy matcha. It was a bit too sweet for me and plan to adjust the sweetness level next time. Salted Cream Jasmine Matcha (80% Sweetness) It looks like a standard matcha milk tea with foam, but the salted cream adds a unique twist. The drink was creamy and smooth, with a slight saltiness from the cream that complemented the jasmine and matcha flavors. If you're a fan of salted cheese or salted cream drinks, this is definitely worth a try. I plan to order this drink again. Customer Service Orders are placed through two self-service kiosks. If you're ordering gelato, you'll be able to customize your selection at the gelato bar. A Matcha Town employee will scoop the gelato flavors that are selected. There's an open waiting area near the kiosks for customers to wait for drink orders. There's a rewards program that you can sign up for using a valid phone number. You'll earn points towards purchases that can later be redeemed for Matcha Town merchandise. Ambiance The aesthetic is reminiscent of Molly Tea, featuring a bright white interior accented with bold green details. Seating is very limited as there's only three tables and bar stools available. There is a display case of Matcha Town's branded bright green boxes and ribbons, which look like Hermes luxury-inspired packaging. These boxes are used for their gelato cakes, which are available in 4" and 6"sizes ranging from $30 - $60 each. Location/Parking Matcha Town is located in the same plaza as H-Mart. Ume Tea on the left and Panda Express on the right side. Parking can be a bit challenging depending on the day and time, since the lot is already busy because of H-Mart.

The pink guava matcha is a must. The sweet and tartness of the guava compliments the earthiness of the matcha. I think it's best to not drink with a straw and instead, sip slowly so you get both flavor profiles in every sip. It's a whole experience that must be enjoyed with intention. It was easy to order on the kiosk. I was in and out (after taking the obligatory photos). This is going to be my go-to matcha spot in this area now.

I was walking and I saw that this place was soft opened. I was lucky there was no line as there's usually a line at their original location. It looks like they specialize in matcha is you look at their name. There's a lot is specialty with unique drinks. Guava matcha (5/5); Probably one of the best guava boba drinks I've ever had. The earthy matcha balances out with the sweet guava . It gives this fruity earthy flavor that is very enjoyable. Will definitely be trying their other drinks

Seen this place was open so decided to go in. They don't have any ice cream yet or "gelato" I was informed. They won't have until end of the week or month one of those. So not much to choose from just drinks and their cakes. Would come back again but the guava matcha drink I got was delicious. Quiet fast service maybe because no one really knows about it yet. They do have kiosk to order so that's a plus. Minimal seating and place is kind of tiny.

pink guava matcha and jasmine salted cheese matcha

I was in the area for Hmart and decided to check out Matcha Town since it's on my list of places to try. There's two kiosks to order from and I believe you can order at the cashier as well. Drinks were quickly ready in 5 minutes since I came in 10 minutes after it opened. The pink guava matcha was too sweet in my opinion so I'd highly recommend getting 50% sweet. Overall, the guava flavor was overpowering with little to no matcha taste. Guava syrup was very fruity and even refreshing but the matcha flavor fell short. The jasmine salted cheese matcha tasted very milky in general. The jasmine tea flavor wasn't so fragrant as I expected and the matcha wasn't strong in this drink either at 70% sweet. The salted cheese cream was very light, not as salty as I preferred. Shop was kept clean and spacious with minimal seating. I wouldn't go out of my way to come back unless I'm in the area. For a matcha place, I think the tea notes could be improved to be more bold since both drinks didn't taste as earthy. I'd love to try the regular matcha latte next time though!

This is my third time at Marco Polo and it really hit the spot. The location is in Vietnam Town, on the far right side, next to Pho 90. When I went this time around, there was no lines but there were still people sitting in the store eating their desserts. Parking here can get tough because of the plaza itself so just a heads up to folks who do not frequent the area. What makes Marco Polo so special is their Asian gelato flavors that you cannot really get anywhere else (that to say a lot of places are now expanding their selections). This was the first spot where I could finally get my hands on durian gelato and it was absolutely delicious. The store itself has around 3 tables for you to sit in and is pretty bare boned. It is good for a grab and go but with the limited seating inside and outside you could spend some time here. Service is quick and you are able to try out some samples. This time around I ordered black sesame and Pandan, while my partner got mango and lychee. It was near close so they ran out of mangosteen unfortunately when I went. While the flavors were great, stood out, and were bold, I will say texturally it was a bit icey for my liking but that might have been because they started crystallizing from being out for a while. Overall, this is a small business I will continue to support!

It's an interesting blend that kind of works, even if it takes a second to figure out what the "theme" is supposed to be. They offer a wide range of desserts and drinks. On one side, you've got items like tartufo (chocolate, cappuccino, limoncello, pistachio), sorbets, and cheesecake slices in the display case. On the other side, they have traditional Vietnamese-style desserts like sweet soups (chè), grass jelly, black-eyed bean pudding, and combo desserts with things like cassava, jelly, and coconut. There's also a solid drink menu with milk teas, fruit teas, smoothies, and specialty coffees. I ordered the latte with matcha foam, and while I don't usually go for sweet drinks, this one was definitely on the sweeter side--but still really good. The matcha foam added a nice earthy balance to the coffee underneath. My friend got the three-color iced drink (the one with layered beans and jelly), and if you're into that texture and flavor profile, you'd probably enjoy it. The service stood out. The man helping us (possibly the owner) was very friendly, patient, and took the time to explain menu items, which I appreciated since some of the desserts aren't as familiar if you haven't had them before. The display case also looked well-stocked and clean, with everything neatly packaged and labeled, which made it easy to browse. Overall, it's a solid spot if you're in the area and want something a little different from the usual dessert shops. The only reason it's not a full 5 stars is because the concept feels slightly all over the place, but the quality, variety, and service definitely make it worth checking out.
