It was a huge feast with plenty of food to share, and every bite was absolutely delicious. The House Special sauce was the star of the meal, bringing together the perfect balance of buttery, garlicky, and spicy flavors. The crawfish were perfectly seasoned, juicy, and cooked just right, with a flavorful blend of spices that enhanced the seafood without overpowering it. I saw that you could add a fourth sandwich to the trio for $15, so I did that just in case she was hungry. The trio came with 3 different flavored lobster sammies. I asked kiddo to pick the 4th sandwich and she choose the spicy honey to get a second of. I'm so glad she did as this was the first sandwich we dug into when we got back to the hotel. We both loved this particular one because it wasn't overly buttery in taste. It was just perfection with a good flavor. The other two had more butter topping. The lemon and truffles flavors while still good were not as standout for the both of us. When we go next time, we will get the bigger sandwich. These trios were a good way to share and not fill completely stuffed and try out the various flavors they offered! I would definitely return again if I lived here. The trio comes with a soda and a choice of two flavored chips. For take out, it was really good! Pricy but it's lobster and that stuff is always more! I'm so glad the meal was a hit with the kid! The lobster was meaty and fresh and the toast it was served on was buttery. A bite that had my tastebuds dancing! So good they we decided to also order their lobster blt. The lobster was still great but I prefer to have my roll warm, not cold. And the lobster is so good, it doesn't need anything from the garden, just the butter. Great service, very accommodating when we asked for extra butter. Clean and good amount of seating. Not to sound like a fatty but we definitely went back two more times during our four day stay. The oysters were the main draw for me, and they were totally worth the visit. Old Stove serves them with a savory watermelon sauce in addition to a traditional cocktail sauce--eaten together, it's a flavor explosion that I can't quite describe. We also enjoyed the garlic everything fries, which were delicious! We just had to try a flight to sample the brews. There are some really good beers available here, especially the Belgian blonde, citra pale ale, and the stout. I did not really care for the seasonal sour (grapefruit, I think)--to me, it just tasted like a sour and nothing more, but someone with more interest in sour beers would probably enjoy it just fine. Despite the busy night, our server checked on us regularly and was very personable, stopping to chat with us about the local sports scene. There's plenty to look at, inside and out. If you can snag a seat outside, you'll get to enjoy the waterfront. Inside, the decor is industrial but fun. Not sure if this runs all the time, but when we were there, the tvs were playing vintage beer ads, which was quite fun. They also sell some pretty good t-shirt designs.
