After many hours on the computer and several test drives of used cars,[both dealerships and used car lots], we had decided on a certain vehicle and were scheduled to return to that dealership to strike a deal. Before leaving our house, I checked one more time on line to see if there were any other vehicles we would like to test drive. I found one and it was at Maxx Autos Plus. When entering the lot, we noticed how clean the grounds were. The cars were very neatly arranged -- not too close to each other, and plenty of room to drive between rows. The cars were clean, although wet [it had been raining for some time]. I looked through the windows of other cars on the lot - all of them were extremely clean and seemingly in good condition. The salesman who greeted us, Lee Bontempo, was absolutely great. He was extremely knowledgeable about the vehicle we saw, the associated sales price and most importantly, gracious, friendly, and patient . Our test drive was fantastic - not "just once around the block". It tested brakes, steering, wheels, power, pick-up, etc etc etc. He spent quite a bit of time with us, then allowed us to talk privately. We purchased the vehicle from him. It is in fantastic shape. Lee washed and shammied it for us while we completed the financial end of the purchase with the "finance guy". He then took the time to show us some of the finer features of the vehicle before we drove off the lot. For the BEST experience you can have making a vehicle purchase, forget the big, miles-long dealerships on auto row with the fancy flags. You only need to go to Maxx Autos Plus and talk to Wayne Reyes. We live a couple hours away from Maxx Autos, but Wayne had kindly set aside a Honda Ridgeline for me to see. It was SO worth the trip! From being greeted as we parked, to simply handing us the key for a pressure-free drive, Wayne was the perfect guide through this sale. We had a RAM 1500 for the past 7yrs and it was starting to give up on us. SO glad I stopped in here! I purchased a vehicle 3 years ago at Harnish and had the BEST experience, the salesman was upfront, HONEST, and didn't push at all. We had just entered the car buying market a few months ago and I was saddened to hear that the salesman had left. Fast forward several weeks, several "typical" sleazy salesman, and a lot of frustration. We spotted a vehicle on this lot and at first glance thought "What is wrong with it? Its priced kinda low" we stopped by anyways and imagine my surprise that I was greeted by, Mike, my favorite salesman!! What a great car buying experience we had at Maxx Autos Plus. My son needed a new car, I spoke with Wayne at the dealership and reviewed their website for cars in my son's price range. We let him know which cars we were interested in and when we could come take a look. Wayne had the cars available for us to test drive and let us take our time deciding. We started out our search for cars online. There were a couple of cars online at Maxx that we wanted to check out. We worked with Wayne. He was very helpful and friendly. There was no pressure, very relaxed and full of humor. We stopped by "just to look" and walked away with a 2013 Chevy Cruze and a huge smile on my husband's face. We had to run home in the middle of the transaction to take care of some things and Wayne let us take the new car while I stayed behind and worked on the paperwork. Immediately, we were welcomed and told that they would take care of our entire family. Wayne Reyes was so kind to our 2 year old. My experience at Maxx Auto was a positive one, which seems to be hard to come across "nowadays" The whole team from management to the sales people all were great. They were able to shop my mediocre credit score around until they found someone that not only was able to loan me the money, but was able to keep it in my ideal payment range. I didn't feel any pressure into buying any vehicle to meet their needs, it was all about me and my needs. On River Rd in Puyallup, there are lots of auto dealers, but drive another mile or two down from the overkill area, and you will find MAXX Autos Plus, a thoroughly professional operation that went above and beyond for sales and service.
