Took my 2005 320 CLK Cabriolet in for new "engine mounts" that the dealership told me was making the funny noise. My car is fixed - and for a fraction of the price at the dealership, and without all of the frustrating "upselling" the dealership tries to pull on me. Prompt service, they kept me informed throughout the day on progress. I give four stars instead of five because 1) I had an 8:00 am appointment and no one was there until 8:10 am. Nit-picky, I know, but I have to get to work by a certain time and that is why I make appointments. 2) The car still had a problem when I picked it up. They promptly fixed it when I pointed it out in about ten minutes, but it was a problem you would hear when you drove the car. How come they didn't pick it up to begin with? When I pointed this out, they were really good about apologizing and fixing it at 5:00 on a Friday, which makes it a lot better. read more

This is a long overdue review, but Brandon and Steve are amazing!!! My c250 of less than 2 years (of which I had purchased brand new from the dealer) started to have issues with the air conditioning. Each time I started the engine and turned on the a/c, a pungent smell (reminiscent of mold/mildew) filled the car. Seeing how new the car was, I didn't think that I should be having any issues so soon. I called Fletcher Jones in Newport Beach and explained to them the problem, they said sounds like the filter needed to be replaced. They said they could fix it for me but couldn't just replace the filters, I needed to book a Service A or Service B package with them. The Service A package ran about $400 and Service B was about $600. I couldn't believe that they could charge so much for a simple service like this. Luckily, my dad mentioned to me that he brings my mom's c350 to MB Elite for service so I should check them out. I am so glad I did! I called and explained to Brandon and Steve the issue I was having and they assured me that they could fix it for me...for HALF the price the dealer was trying to charge me! Making an appointment with them was super easy. They were a pleasure to work with, very honest people!!! They even gave me pointers on how to use my a/c properly and to this day, I've been doing what they told me and my car hasn't had that pungent smell ever since (it's been almost a year!). If your Mercedes ever needs any service, skip the hassle of the dealer (and save yourself hundreds of dollars) and bring your car to MB Elite!!! You will not regret it!!! MB Elite is my new Mercedes mechanic. When I had a problem with an oil leak and rough idle, I got an estimate from FJ Mercedes that seemed very high and a week to fix. MB Elite fixed the problem at nearly half the cost quoted by FJ Mercedes and did it in 2 days without having to make a reservation. About 2 days after the repairs were made, I had a rough idle again. Steve checked it out and said there was a problem with the manifold gasket they just replaced. They fixed the problem at no cost to me within 5 hours and loaned me a car at no cost. They deserve 1 star but because they did great in the past I will give 2 stars. I have been going to them for about at least 12 years Steve the owner is not there anymore except one week a month now. Bobby and another fellow work there. They are way off there game NOW. Got nothing but excuses for the poor service and damage to my girlfriends car. The hood apparently slammed down while they were working on car and there was a dent the shape of a socket wrench on the hood. They claimed they did not do it. I know otherwise. They lost the paperwork from a service 6 months before where an oil change was done. The car had a new problem and had only been driven less than 1,000 miles since the oil change and because they did not see the paperwork and the light was on for service they ASSUMED that the car needed an oil change. WRONG. I am never going back there never another person I know said the same thing. They also did NOT do the service they claimed they did and we paid for as we took to another shop and they said the work was NEVER done. Worst is that they would not fess up to the damage to the hood. They did refund the money for the unneeded oil change at least. YUK. read more

I purchased a 2003 CLK 320 in 2006 and this shop has been servicing my vehicle since 2009. They have always been honest in regards to what my vehicle needs and offer competitive prices. I cannot say enough about how knowledgeable and efficient they are. I had my car towed to Fletcher Jones Motorcars in Newport Beach once because I used the Mercedes roadside assistance and regretted it because they were obviously way more expensive and suggested repairs that I did not need at the time. Today for example, I just needed coolant and they noticed one of the drive belt idler pulleys was halfway broken off which meant that at any moment it would have caused me to stall god knows where. They replaced it on the spot despite being busy with other cars. Even though it was just a simple coolant refill, they always inspect my vehicle before I leave the shop. This shows that they go above and beyond for their customers and in this case their safety. I highly recommend this shop for Mercedes Benz repairs/maintenance of any kind. Thank you MB Elite. MB Elite is amazing. I bought my 430 E Sedan in 2001, and have been paying thousands to Fletcher Jones over the years. I had a very strange sound coming from the back side of the car for years and Fletcher Jones could not figure out what the problem was. When I took it to MB Elite they figured out it was a barring that was loose. They fixed the problem immediately and there was no more wretched sound! I was living with that sound for years when I would speed up on the freeway.... I also had my warning signal light coming up over and over again for my headlights even though they were working fine. MB Elite found out that I had a short by going through the car's left side wiring system. It was like finding a needle in a haystack, but I was so impressed that they found the problem! I was referred to MB Elite from someone who works in my office and I could not be happier with my experience. I don't write reviews of any kind, but I do always read them for reference. After my experience with Steve and Brandon MB Elite Service deserves 6 stars!!! I was referred to this mechanic shop and was told that they could check out my car and diagnose everything within 5 mins. AND THAT WAS EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED! I have a 1999 E 430 Mercedes that was acting up every time I would start the car. It sounded like a belt was loose or that the car was dry, even though it wasn't. I let this problem go for a while and needed to take her in before things got bad. I am so incredibly happy with every aspect of my experience. I went into their shop during my lunch break, so I only had an hour to drive to their shop and back. Once I got there Steve talked to me about what was going on with the car and then we started her up. Within 5 seconds of having the car on he was able to diagnose the problem. Brandon was able to confirm with his diagnosis and even check it out just to double check. It turns out the frame of my car was bent (from hitting the bottom of the car on steep driveways I assume) and was rubbing against the radiator fan belt. As a result, if I did not come in this could have potentially become a huge problem. While Brandon was working on my car he also gave me two new tire pressure caps that were missing along with fixing my brake light that I though was broken! AND ALL OF THIS WAS DONE FREE OF CHARGE. All in all this would have probably of been a $50 fix at a normal mechanic but these guys aren't your usual mechanic! They are completely honest and very nice dudes! I would recommend MB Elite Services to anyone! The shop is located in Newport Beach, which is a 10 min drive for me from work, but I would be willing to drive from Anaheim (were I live) to have them work on my car! read more

We also had them troubleshoot the airscarf which they did at no charge even though we elected not to replace the part at this time. These guys were so easy to deal with and friendly. These guys are legit! After researching places and all the good reviews I decided to give this place a try. I have gone there 3-4 times in the last 6 months. I unfortunately needed some expensive repairs. My car is 8 years old, but it's in perfect condition now. I had a power steering leak, which they fixed, but I'm still nervous about it so I pop by every now and then and they check my fluid levels, and top me off for free. The guys here are so nice and trustworthy. The trust factor is so important at a car repair shop. They are very personable, honest, knowledgable and upfront about your options and costs. They are trying to up sell you either. You also get a really nice complimentary car wash (inside and out). They will also pick you up and drop you off anywhere that's local. I won't go anywhere else. Even if I get a new Mercedes at Fletcher jones, I will still take my car to MB Elite for service. read more

While doing some DIY dash swap work on my GLA 45, I got totally stumped by the AC air vents, tried to follow guides and videos online for pulling them out for 3 hours before I finally gave up. Looked around yelp and found MB Elite close to me and with good reviews, so I decided to stop by and see if they know something that I didn't. Showed up, told them I needed the vent removed, and they immediately went to my car and popped it off with no questions asked. Best thing is, they didn't charge me a thing.
