Sadly I can no longer recommend this shop. For all they do to pride themselves on being able to service Mercedes vehicles, their response to fixing my car was pathetic. If you need to get your oil separators and rear main seal replaced on your M176 or M177 engine equipped Mercedes (an unfortunately common repair on these engines) beware MBS will turn down the job because "it will take too long and we don't want to tie up our mechanic". Fortunately the shop that services my Porsche also works on Mercedes and will do the job. It's a shame as these folks are otherwise nice to work with. read more

Came to MBS because I had a very slow leaky tire on my older MB. It took some sleuthing to find the culprit which was a 18 gage finishing nail hidden in the rubber, which was probably from a neighbor's remodeling project and sealed it up. The technician also noticed my half lit LCD instrument cluster and asked if I wanted the bulb replaced. Yes! It had been bothering me, but didn't think it could be fixed with a simple light bulb replacement. Ended up replacing two bulbs because he noticed another bulb in the cluster was actually the wrong wattage! That bulb was overheating and slowly melting the plastic around it, he saved the cluster from total failure and an expensive replacement replacement! Just wish these guys were closer to where I live, but will use them again on my older MB. read more

Super nice Euro automotive shop. They found the cause of my misfire on my 2004 e500 ( which almost nobody wanted to work on my car) in the span of a couple hours it was diagnosed and had it fixed by the end of the day. Same deal with the main gaskets. Had my car ready by 8am the next morning. They did miss something when switching the gaskets yet they took full accountability and told me to bring it in and they'd fix it right away, as well as a free liquid flush just for the inconvenience . Super cool dudes who know exactly what they're doing and are 100% trustworthy! read more

I was looking for a place in Illinois to do the service B for my car. This was a trustful place to leave my car and the service was done in a couple of hours. The drop off was really easy and they can arrange some time for you to pick up your car when is convenient (even after business hours). The prices are not crazy and fair. When I first reached out to ask a quote, I received an instant answer and they walk me up through the process relatively quickly. Another thing I liked is that they are honest and will only charge you for what your car actually requires (no hidden fees). My only suggestion is to work on the customer service at the front desk but overall the service and price was good. I will coming back! read more

I used to be happy with this place but now I am not. It seems like the good mechanic has left. My car had developed a misfire, they couldn't schedule me for 3 weeks. I brought it in, by then the code was already in history which they didn't write down, but there was an active code for a bad cat, well that's weird since my car only has 49k miles on it. They said to just throw on some o2 extensions, I said well something caused the cat to go bad, wouldn't we want to know what did that. No, they did not, they are short staffed and they do not want to have to deal with real work. They quoted me $418 to put the extensions on, I questioned why it was so expensive and the front desk guy said because it takes a lot of time to get in there to put them in. I said okay fine, 40 mins later I get a call and he says there done, surprise surprise. I take the car back, didn't even make it back home, and it threw the code for the cat again. Then they couldn't schedule me for another month, so the next day I decide to drive the car to auto one to get the codes flashed and during the trip the car starts misfiring again, and then it got even worse. I was so fed up, I decided to never come back again. read more

Purchased a ML350 and dreaded going to the dealer for my service A or B appointment. I was lucky enough to find MBS which specializes in Mercedes. I spoke with Telly and he gave me an amazing quote that was literally 60% cheaper from the dealer quote. Sure enough , Telly picked up my vehicle, did the service and within a few hours brought back my vehicle . Talk about outstanding customer service! My vehicle runs as good as new and will be a life long customer! My only recommendation is I'd wish they offered washes after servicing the vehicles . Overall, 100% satisfied !!! Just came back after another year for my transmission oil and engine oil change . MBS did another outstanding job and saved me literally half of what Mercedes of Edens would've charged me. Once again MBS just keeps topping my expectations. My mother was at another shop near her home who noticed an oil leak in her BlueTec 320. They didn't even know how to fix the problem. I told her to bring the car to Telly who arranged for a loaner car at a discounted rate. The leak was coming from the intake manifold. I looked up the job online and found that its anywhere between 12-14 hours of work. It took Telly a few days to get the job done as well as some extra work that was needed because of the oil buildup.
