Came in today with my family to eat lunch, only a few other people in restaurant it wasn't busy at all (now I know why) and it took over an hour to get our food. We would get one plate of food at a time so we all couldn't eat together as a family. By the time my husband got his food everyone else was done. My children were the 2nd to last to get their food and it was so cold and hard (Mac and cheese and a pizza) when they got it. So it's not like they were back there cooking it. Every time we asked for an update on their food we would get a very sarcastic and snarky remark from the woman working there, she would just cut us off mid sentence with sassy comments and then walk away. She was white with dark brown hair, no name tag. When my mother's food came out it wasn't what she ordered, when she asked for it to be fixed they tried to say it was what she ordered but it was a completely different salad. When they remade it for her they still made it wrong. But at that point she had waited an hour so she didn't say anything because she didn't want to have to wait even longer. Very rude and unprofessional staff. No apologies, no explanations, nothing. I don't recommend anyone go here. I'd give it 0 stars if I could. read more

Well, same old song with another restaurant that I used to love going to this one as well is going down in quality and service. After getting to go food through the window I come home to find what used to be a large club sandwich to have one piece of bacon, one piece of cheese, and two pieces of ham only on a club sandwich. This is the worst to go food I've had in some time out of Hiram, but I'm very disappointed this used to be one of my favorite locations. my wife also ordered a chicken salad sandwich on a croissant and I can't identify what kind of bread they serve served my wife sandwich own. The French dip is my go to here, it reminds me of home- a spot I used to go to. Food always come hot even when I DoorDash it. When I pick it up, it doesn't take long to get my order from the drive thru either. I've never been inside, so I can't tell you what it's like, but customer service is good compared to other drive thru places around. I wish you can order from the drive-thru but you actually have to order ahead of time which definitely make sense why. We have visited this location probably five times after church for the last several months. The food is good but the service, while always friendly, is very slow. Usually the restaurant isn't very busy, we walk right up to the counter to order, and it still takes 15-25 minutes to get our food. We are a party of two. Today when we arrived at 1:20, there were a few people in line ahead of us and the restaurant had more customers sitting down eating than we've seen on a Sunday afternoon. Before we could order, the young lady at the counter turned to the guys in the back and asked something like, "So you don't want us taking any more orders right now?" Two of the guys in the back were shaking their heads no. She turned to us and let us know it's going to be at least a thirty minute wait and she didn't know if we wanted to wait that long. We, of course, didn't want to wait so we left. This restaurant has a lot of potential but the employees are going to have to get their act together and actually hustle! I had the Mcalister's Club on country white bread with potato salad as a side. The sandwich was turkey, bacon, romaine and spinach lettuce, tomato, cheddar cheese, and some honey mustard type sauce, absolutely delicious. The potato salad was better than most places, not enough mustard for my taste, and a little heavy on the relish they mix in. My wife has the spicy turkey melt, turkey, bacon, white cheese lettuce, tomato on some kind of hoagie bun, we both really liked that. They mac and cheese is just mac and cheese. I had a strawberry lemonade with mine, wow probably my new go-to drink, loved it. Its VERY tangy, make your mouth pucker! This location just opened. My family and I decided to have dinner there. The wait time wasn't too bad. We waited for about 7 minutes to give our order. The young lady who took my order was very friendly and even answered a few questions that I had. There was a national trainer there so they are still learning. The seating area was pretty clean and there was plenty of seating. Our food came out in 10 minutes. There was someone walking around asking if we needed refills amd taking empty dishes which was great. Now on to the food. I ordered the chicken salad on croissant with broccoli and cheese soup. The chicken salad taste great and I appreciate that they grilled the bread. The soup was good as well. The sweet tea is just like I remembered it from another location I use to visit, it was delicious. I had a decent meal and good service. It was a little pricey. It was $35 for 2 meals and a kids meal. If you dine in the kids meal is only $1.50. Not a cheap meal but you do get a good portion size. We will definitely be back to try more things on the menu. Revamed and awesome. The food is perfect. When I say perfect, it is as described. My McAlister's club had flavorful meats, cheeses, toasted, fresh veggies and spread with a appropriate amount of mayo/ honey mustard. Did a half cup of country potato soup. I was warmed to my soul. It felt like home. Firm potato's and bacon in every bite. I will be back to explore more of the menu. Bring a friend and enjoy a conversation. We had seen postings about this place opening recently, so one evening we opted to go check it out. It is located adjacent to the Hilton Garden Inn, just off a golf cart path. The parking lot seemed small, and only had one way in/out, which appeared to confuse some drivers; we saw at least one car have to back up, having missed the lot entirely. You order at the counter and take a number-sign to your table; someone later brings the food out to you. My impression of Macalister's (after this one visit) was that it reminded me of the Atlanta Bread Company, but with a wider menu. They featured the same 'pick 2 half-orders and make one meal' concept. I opted for a BLT and a baked potato. We both liked the food well enough. The dining room was fairly large. My guess is that this place will do okay in this location. It is definitely a notch above fast food. I might return and try other menu options. read more

I hate to leave this review, I really do! The produce at this location is disgusting for some reason. Every time I get a salad or BLT w avocado, it's always old. The lettuce is not fresh! I opened my sandwich and seen black. I asked the cashier what is this and she stated that the truck had not come in just get and they are trying to get rid of what they have already (old avocado). Please learn from my mistakes and don't waste your money here. You can tell the owners wanting to cut back on food cost. We spent 30 dollars on one and a half sandwiches and a half garden salad and there was literally one slice of meat on both sandwiches. Mind you these are 30 dollar sandwiches we're talking about. This place is awesome! Serving a huge variety of sandwiches, potatoes, salad's, nachos, and soup's. You get a side with your sandwich and these are all delicious. They also have 3 or 4 varieties of plate size cookies. Sweet tea and Lemonade are very good and "famous". It is a big clean roomy restaurant which is good because they do a very brisk business. The average meal cost is between 10-11 dollars and is well worth it. The bathroom however is a disappointment for this guy. I have been waiting to try this place. I grew up with regular deli visIts and got super excited when I saw it going up. I got the half New Yorker 1/2 loaded nacho. It wasn't delicious. I take that back- the Arnold Palmer was delicious. As for the sandwich- I never had soggy rye bread in my life and i couldn't taste the promised mustard. The nachos were the opposite of delicious. That was my bad tho- I should have never ordered nachos in a non nacho restaurant. I had a dream about nachos last night so when I saw them on the menu- I thought it was a sign. The meat or chili or whatever it was they put on it had a taste I didn't care for. I picked at it as best i could trying to get ONE chip without the brown stuff to no avail. In the pLate up my pIckle got stuck in the sour cream so I didnt get to taste it. There were two guys sitting next to me who ordered what looked like 3 sandwiches a piece and they LOVE the place so maybe it's me. They got thE Rachel. I will try a diff sandwich and maybe a soup next time. I will give a second chance. Maybe I will get warm fuzzies (i tried to tell the cashier taking my order the counter was all sticky.
