They have a main level patio and the rooftop, both have to be sat by a host most hours of the day. As far as restaurants go in Shakopee, McCoy's is a great choice for happy hour with a group who like to drink a wide variety of options while still getting a deal. The food however, was to be desired. And, maybe that's because we ordered off the happy hour food. But we didn't find it to be tasty, even on special. However, the atmosphere at McCoy's is fun for the area. Which, is evident by the crowd this place draws in! It has a rooftop patio, as well as a ground level patio with a large inside dining area. Ate here with my husband tonight. Walleye appetizer was good! But I had the brisket tacos with corn tortillas. Tortillas were falling apart and the brisket was so dry that it was hard to eat Lemon rosemary martini was good (sticky glass) but the Bloody Mary was extreme sodium over load. I had a group of 4 and we all had a great experience with the food, staff, safety, sanitation, parking and everything that matters when you go out. I would highly advise the appetizers as they were all great! I thinks that's so cool that you get "2 fers" at this place, I don't drink personally but my family at my table loves when you can catch a buz for cheap ; ). I stopped here when they first opened. I took many photos of the place, menu and food. This was before Covid hit. I just didn't get to this review so my photos are not attached. This is a spin-off from Willie McCoys in Bloomington which has good food and drink specials. I thought that I would give this new place a try and it wasn't as good as i had hoped. Maybe it was growing pains. The food arrival was very slow especially for a weekday lunch where you have a limited time to get back to work. I ordered Broccoli with my meal and it was hard, under cooked. I wanted to give them another go around and then Covid hit and then I lost the job in the area because it hurt our business by 70% - Tough times. The staff is great, first of all. I have mixed feelings on my pizza. Perhaps I showed up on a wrong day. As I'm looking pizza pictures others have posted, I can't help but wonder why all my cheese was in the middle and so little of it. Well, we just got back from having lunch at this restaurant today, and I got to tell you, total disappointment. The bread we ordered was SO SALTY. Had to scrape it off the outside of the bread. Cheese curds were ok. We both got the Triple B Burger, and the burgers were ok, but, my husbands Onion Rings were so overcooked he could not eat them, and my baby red potatoes were so overcooked they were brown on the inside! I could not eat them. When we were ready to check out, I told our waitress, Skylar G., the issues with the overcooked sides, she came back with a $3.00 discount! I met up with an old classmate of mine from High School. He recommended this establishment and I agreed to meet up with him. I arrived alittle early. I was greeted at the front stand promptly and friendly. I continued to wait for my classmate for a few minutes and I noticed the establishment very busy for a lunch which was promising. My friend arrived and we quickly were given a booth. The service was quick! Greeted with a very friendly waiter asking if we wanted drinks. Since this was a lunch break from work I asked for an ice tea. My friend had a Coke. We ordered our food. I had a chicken pot pie with walleye fingers as an appetizer. My classmate had a French dip. By this time of ordering the place started to pick up with customers. Wow! Our food came quickly and piping hot. The apps were fantastic and my chick pot pie was absolutely delicious!!!!! I like that they tend to put their own unique twist on their menu items. Their service tends to be generally really good and the atmosphere is nice. Might be confused on why In giving a 1 star, let me start - I went in a couple weeks ago and my family and I 4 people waiting about 20 minutes for a table, I'm totally fine with waiting . That's not the point, when we were waiting there is a bench next to the host stand, a worker, who I assume is a manager given he was not wearing the typical shirt like the rest of the employees, he was wearing a suit with a fedora hat, short looking guy maybe late 40s early 50s I heard him say some very strange thing about an employee no more then 17 maybe, it was a sexual comment, made me uncomfortable to say the least, my wife said she wouldn't let our kids walk them selfs to the bathrooms on their own or to the game areas, our kids are 10 and 12 there's a issue with that kinda language, needless to say we won't be return to that location anytime soon, I hope management can figure this stuff out maybe, the rest of the night my wife said was good, my experience was overshadowed from this situation sadly. read more

This experience--Copper Pint is a casual place to grab a drink and a bite to eat. It is definitely a bar first then a restaurant . It is not a dinning experience or a place I would take children. The food was good for "bar food" but was priced like a sit down Restraunt. We had two "daily special" burgers, an app, one beer and one Long Island iced tea, our bill came to $60 with tip. For that price I expected a little better food. The Restraunt was very noisy and it was difficult to have a conversation with my husband. Typical bar noise. So excited to have this restaurant in the neighborhood! We needed an elevated place to eat! I will say it has a fun brewery vibe to it. We came for my brothers birthday dinner and we didn't have to wait long because they have a lot of seating (and they were packed). The roof isn't open yet, but I'll be excited to go back when that opens up. The patio area is very nice too. For food, we got the MN surf and Turf, Fish Tacos, Gyro Wrap, Shrimp Fajitas, and the Sweet and Spicy wings. I will say that the surf and turf and fish tacos were more bland and less seasoned that I would have hoped. I wouldn't order those again. It also felt weird because there wasn't a piece of fish in each of the tacos, it appeared as if they cut up a bigger piece of fish and stuffed the tacos, but one taco only had breading innit and no fish. The steak we ordered was over cooked (we asked for medium) and the plate didn't have much flavor at all. The gyro, shrimp fajitas, and wings were really the dishes that we ordered that held the most flavor, they were all delicious and I would definitely order those again. I really want to come back and try the burgers & pizza, I feel like those are probably their strong suit. A new standard is set! Shakopee restaurants be put on notice. This is the place to be. First, ignore some of these old fuddys complaining about pickles and the price of a 2 for 1 beer. I'm 37, spend time at Crooked Pint the new bohemia Maynard's and Charlie's and get a good "scene" and food... This place has IT... Went with my wife and kid and sat outside...2 for 1 beers and a dollar off...so two surleys for 6 bucks! Ample space on patio but the rooftop patio goes in next month! Can't wait! Waitresses were all friendly, cute, and hospitable...greeted by the managers twice... Ordered the bomba burger with no bun...incredibly good with just the right amount of cream cheese (tasty but no tummy issues later). Wife got a bbq burger...pretty standard looking but awesome. Tots came without an up charge...sour cream dipping sauce...kid got apple juice and Mac n cheese which was enough for an adult to eat! They are adding an outdoor fire pit or two and rooftop bar...50 dollar tab for 3 people that got beer moscato wine and a patio... First time visiting here, second day open so I was pretty excited to see what they had to offer. Upon coming through the front door my friend and I were greeted by two hostesses. We looked around and I loved the decor and it wasn't terribly busy but as time went by many others came in to check out and see what they had to offer. We ordered drinks and my friend said the drinks were great, I myself had a lemonade and it was good. We ordered Walleye fingers for an appetizer, they were really good and had a nice little kick to them. My friend ordered the Chopped Chicken Salad, and I ordered the turkey burger. Food came out reasonably fast, and the food was good. Our server was great, she was attentive, and wasn't pushy. I didn't like the fact that the lady we found out was one of the owners did not appear to be a people person. I seen her walk by plenty of times with food and seemed really irritated. Who knows what that was about but the fact that she was an owner I guess I expected more. I will definitely come back, hopefully when the dust settles she will be a little more at ease. Newer restaurant in Shakopee on the east side of town. They have a call ahead/online seating reservation system that allows you to not have to wait in the waiting area the whole time. Great bar area. Wide open with lots of TVs. There are 2 levels to this restaurant. The main dining was downstairs. We went during the winter which is why most people eating were downstairs. In the summer you can eat outside and also upstairs on their rooftop seating. Different place in the summer than the winter. Dining area downstairs was very loud because it was the bar area. Not the most ideal spot for a dinner conversation. Food looked good coming out of the kitchen. We ordered the beef stroganoff and the chicken marsala. Both came out very well prepared and looked delicious. The overall taste score was a 4 and found the pricing to be reasonable. My only downfall to this place was the amount of noise in the lower level. If you want to go eat and have a conversation, sit upstairs in the smaller inside bar area. If you want a noisy bar experience with great drinks to watch the game, then the downstairs would be an excellent choice. Can't wait to try it in the summer time and give another review. read more

Really unsure why this place has 3 stars. It is a classic "anything you get here will be good" establishment. Almost all their beers are 2-for-1, which is a nice touch. I ordered an appetizer of shrimp and cucumber, it came with tons of crumbling bleu cheese and cilantro as well - it was delicious. Main course was a mozzster burger with no bun. Huge slices of fresh avocado on top, liberal usage of cheese, crisp and fresh lettuce and tomato, and edible coleslaw. This place doesn't mess around. The burger meat was also just incredible. I really wanted 2 or 3 more patties to enjoy. I honestly don't know what more you could want from a restaurant. The food is chosen and prepared with obvious care, the atmosphere is lively without being belligerent, there's sports on tv, the beer is good, and the food is delicious. The Bartendar was not very forthcoming with answering my questions about the menu. The food was descent. I ordered a soup and pizza and a beer. My main issue was the lack of service I was unable to obtain a condiment for my food, nor did they check on my progress or needs or clear my empty plates while I finished my beer.
