They have SOME rotating international McDonald items so I came to try it out. They have a working McFlurry machine. I had onion rings and a McFlurry it was super good.
While in Chicago, I had the opportunity to visit one of the few McDonald's in the States that serves international meals. My Godmother works for McDonald's corporate, so we had the chance to explore the area and try some of the international foods served around the world. My heart remains close to McDonald's because it was my first job as a teenager, working at a corporate McDonald's where I learned about food service and presentation, as well as the importance of customer service. Today, I experienced this McDonald's location as a customer, and all I can say is that the place was spotless, the ambiance was welcoming, and it didn't feel like a typical fast-food place. The staff looked presentable, and the General Manager was walking around greeting everyone and ensuring everything was running smoothly. She came to our table and greeted us. The service was quick and efficient. We tried the McPops, which are soft dough mini donuts filled with Biscoff, hazelnut, or mixed berries. If you like munchkins, you will absolutely love the McPops. The dough was airy, the filling flavorful, and the powdered sugar gave a nice finish. These McPops are only available in Canada, Australia, Spain, Switzerland, and at the unique McDonald's at the headquarters in Chicago. I would definitely travel again just for these! My favorite was between hazelnut and Biscoff; I kept tasting each and mixing the flavors, almost like a Reese's combination. Additionally, I tried their McShaker Fries from Hong Kong smoky BBQ flavor, which came with a BBQ powder pack and a bag to add the fries to season and give them a shake to season them perfectly. Because the fries were hot, the BBQ flavor was a plus; it wasn't spicy, just very savory. We also had some pancakes, which are hands down the best pancakes of any fast-food restaurant; I can't resist having a plate of hotcakes. Overall, the food, service, and ambiance were a 10/10. Thank you, McDonald's, for a full 360-degree experience. Loyal customer.
Super friendly and clean McDonald's! Came for the global menu and only ordered from the global menu. I was told they rotate around every 12 weeks. I tried the BBQ shaker fries, the Kung pao mcchicken, and the mango curry mcwrap. The fries taste like lays BBQ chips flavor. It's quite nice but doesn't feel like a wow. The Kung pao mcchicken was really good. It's an elevated regular mcchicken with crissed crossed buns, 2 crispy peppered chicken patties, a sweet yet Peppery aioli-like dressing, and lettuce. I really enjoyed this burger. The mcwrap was really interesting. The mango curry was a sweet sauce that had a hint of curry spice, like a salad dressing-way. The crispy chicken, cool cucumber slices, and the sauce really brought them together. I enjoyed it for the novelty but it's not really filling unfortunately and at that price point. If you dine in, they bring the food to you and if you didn't order a beverage, they will automatically bring a cup with water. All the tables have wireless charging. The restrooms were spacious and clean! Highly recommend to come to try the global menu.
Located at Hamburger University, this spot has international menu items from around the world you can't normally get in the U.S. I tried the Sweet Chili McWrap and it was pretty good. Nice being able to try something different from the usual McDonald's menu. Clean restaurant, easy ordering.
First off, this isn't your normal McDonald's!!! It has a rotating international/global menu! Theres only one in the US and that's this specific one in Chicago next door to their headquarters. We ordered almost everything off the global menu. Did it taste super gourmet fancy? No, at the end of the day it's still McDonalds. BUT I will say that everything felt higher quality and it was such a fun experience overall. Cheesy Onion Burger-- Just tasted like a cheesy burger with caramelized onions. Not the craziest invention but hey it's really good for McDonald's. Kung Pao Double McChicken-- I've never seen such a pretty burger from McDonald's EVERRR. Look at how gorgeous the bun is. 2 chicken patties and very, very, VERY mild spice in the sauce. Pretty good no complaints. McWrap Mango Curry-- Ok this one was a flop in the sense that the mango flavor just really wasn't working for us. It's like tart and just ... weird. Smoky BBQ McShaker Fries-- WHY ARENT SHAKER FRIES A THING EVERYWHERE!!! It tastes exactly like potato corner in the mall. They give you BBQ powder and a paper bag for you to combine and shake up yourself. Super fun 10/10 would recommend and actually tastes good. McPops (berry, biscoff, Nutella)-- Basically just filled donut holes!! Very standard like I don't know how you go wrong with donut holes. They were good! If you're in Chicago I'd recommend going just for fun. Just order everything off the global menu. It's not going to fill you up so just think of it like a snack. They DO have the full menu but ... the special part is the global part. Also as a whole, literally the cleanest McDonalds... ever I think. It's right next door to headquarters so they do NOT mess around! No self serve, they'll provide drinks in cups ready to go for you. There's people walking around ready to service you if you need anything. There's a lady by the kiosks directing traffic. Also there's SO MANY kiosks and SOOO much seating! And really clean bathrooms like wow we were so impressed.
Located at Hamburger University, McDonald's headquarters, you can randomly sample regional specialties from around the world! A must-visit for McDonald's devotees! (Although, a little disappointing) Cheesy Onion Burger: Brazil limited. Very small, just a simple layer of meat patty, cheese, and chopped onions. I have no idea where the Brazilian flavor is. Feels very perfunctory. McShaker Fries: Smoky BBQ: Malaysia limited. The seasoning seems to be five-spice salt and pepper, the smoky flavor mainly comes from paprika, plus a layer of tomato acidity. It's probably closer to Mexican than Malaysian, and rather average. Golden McFlurry: Global. Coconut pralines and caramel toppings reminded me of Ferrero Raffaello. The taste was good, but a bit too sweet.
SUCH A COOL CONCEPT wish there were more of these around the country! My favorite thing to do in another country is to try their McDonald's. It was so unique to get to try that here in Chicago. I will say, the fries and the desserts were great, but the sandwiches themselves were just a slight variation from what we already have here. I wasn't wowed by the flavors, but I was wowed by the option and the experience! It's still fast food at the end of the day. I will say, this location was very clean and run smoothly. They brought our order to the car and everything was included, service was quick and nice. HIGHLY recommend, I check the menu on the app to see what new international options are available
There are many kiosks inside. Was disappointed they didn't have as many global menu offerings. Currently only Brazil Cheesy Onion Burger (not that diff from a regular burger just extra cheese and grilled onions), China Kung Pao Double Chicken Sandwich (double patty is a lot, wish they had a single layered chicken sandwich), German Mango Curry Snack Wrap, Malaysia Smoky BBQ shaker fries, Golden McFlurry (caramel & coconut), Switzerland filled beignets. The bbq fries seasoning was good, a tangy savory, slightly smoky flavor similar to bbq chips. The Kungpao chicken was just okay, not really a fan of the sauce. Tasted kind of like a seasoned thousand island dressed mixed with chili sauce. The McDonalds also had some mints that you can grab.
This is a spot where you can order items from McDonald's menus across the world. We had just had a big lunch, but enjoyed a sweet treat from Switzerland. They were kind of like a beignet and they were delicious. You order via a kiosk and wait for your food. The ordering process was easy and we got our food quickly!
Fun fun fun! Got to try some of the international cuisine. Not pictured is the Mango chicken wrap, which was kind of meh. The McShaker fries are the naughty union of MickeyD fries and Lays BBQ chips. Quite yummy. The McPops are like jelly filled donuts. Tasty also. McFlurry was a little too sweet for us. Maybe less of the caramel sauce would be better. Brazillian Onion burger was the winner. Kind of like a Philly cheesesteak with Whiz! I also forgot to take a picture of the Kung Pao chicken sandwich. That was kind of like Panda Express on a bun! Yum! Restaurant is clean and quiet. Kind of out there a ways from downtown though.
This isn't your typical McDonald's, it's one that is located next to the headquarters. The whole atmosphere was completely different. This is the nicest and cleanest McDonald's I've ever been to. There's plenty of seating available with lots of sunshine coming through the windows. It gave a very relaxing vibe where you can just sit and enjoy your meal. As soon as I walked in, I was immediately greeted with a smile by the staff standing by the door. She saw that I had two kids so she walked up and handed them each a happy meal toy - that definitely made my kid's happy. I was actually quite shocked because this has never happened before. Apparently the toy was one that's suppose to be releasing in the coming months. The staff there was all so friendly and ready to help. I guess it's because it's connected to the headquarters so you can't really mess around. We wanted to try their global menu but then realized some items were only available after a certain time like 11:30 so we just ordered their breakfast while we waited. The ingredients used was fresh and high quality. We ordered mcpops, a cheesy onion burger, mcwrap mango curry and smoky BBQ mcshaker fries. The global menu turned out to be okay, not that special but it's fun to try for sure. If you're in Chicago, I would highly recommend making a visit here.
I would never review a McDonald's but this is the one and ONLY global McDonald's in the world. I rarely eat McDonald's but I had to try this one. They have 5 different menu items from across the globe from different countries and it rotates every 2 months. I got the kung pao double chicken, Brazilian cheese burger with grilled sweet onions, french beignets and Malaysia Smokey bbq fries. I wasn't able to finish everything but just wanted to try. It was definitely different. I liked everything! My favorite was the kung pao chicken but the bbq fries was also pretty good. You should definitely go if ur in Chicago
It was so rewarding visiting an International McDonalds. Being able to try a popular menu McDonald item from Japan, China, The U.K and Canada was fun. It made the journey felt extremely special. I truly enjoyed the Garlic & Pepper CrissCut fries from China . My second favorite was the Philly Cheese Stack from The The U.K. The meat was well seasoned, the caramelized onions the cheese sauce. This burger was the truth. I also admire how dress everything was. The doors and windows where very polish and clean. No hand prints. The counter where clean and sanitized. All the staff seem happy and take pride in their work. I love that! Noone had a sad or down face. Overall wonderful experience.

I got a chance to visit the McDonald's HQ on my recent trip to Chicago and it definitely exceeded my expectations. The interior was extremely clean and well kept and the workers were so kind and helpful. They continuously came to our table and asked if we needed anything else and even refilled our drinks for us. It was definitely something I wasn't expecting at a McDonald's. We ordered in a Kiosk which was very easy to use and similar to any other McDonald kiosk. But what made this specific location unique was that it had items from other countries. I think this menu rotates throughout the year but when I went, I got the samurai burger from Malaysia, the winter fries from France, and the Mcpops! I also got a McChicken because you can't go to McDonald's without getting one of those. The samurai burger was good but it honestly tasted like a gyudon bowl in a burger. The winter fries were so addicting an really tasty. The McPops were honestly underwhelming. It's definitely worth trying if you're there but it's not anything special. read more
Super fun experience! There wasn't as much international food as I thought there would be but I did enjoy the options I got! I had the mango McFlurry, it had little bitty chopped up mango and smooth ice cream, super good! I also got a standard happy meal, potato wedges and the samurai burger. The potato wedges were pretty average tasting. The samurai burger was not for me, I prefer the normal cheeseburger. A great experience though and all the workers were helpful and nice. Cool location to visit if you are in the area. Besides the normal American food items they also have a few rotating items from other countries. I tried the Triple Onion Burger from South Korea, it was ok it's more to just say I had something that you normally can only get in South Korea. Order at the kiosk and have a seat, the staff will bring your order to you. read more
Kind of disappointed buy the selection. I remember back when McDonalds did their Around the World menu years ago that they had offered a bunch of main entree items. So to come to the Global Menu Restaurant and for them to only have 3 entrees, that was a bit of a letdown for me. My friend ordered the McCrispy Bacon & Cheese melt and it was as just as described. The cheese had a weird taste and the bacon was a little limp. The triple onion burger I didn't really have any issues with. I was worried about the horseradish sauce being overpowering but it was very mild and didn't outshine the rest of the burger. Granted this is a McDonald's so I didn't expect much in terms of it being a fantastic meal, but considering it was a special McDonald's I thought they'd have a real emphasis here on the global menu. It was so much fun trying the global menu items! This is what we got: - Triple Onion Burger (S. Korea) - McAloo Tikki (India) - McCrispy Bacon and Cheese Melt (Brazil) - Deluxe Potatoes (France) - Banana Tart McFlurry (Japan) - 3 McPops mix (biscoff, berry, white chocolate) (Spain and Switzerland) My favorite burger was the McAloo Tikki because it tasted the most novel to me. The curry taste was really good. The Triple Onion Burger was yummy too, but a taste I was already familiar with and didn't stand out. I was not a fan of the McCrispy Bacon and Cheese Melt - too much meat in a burger and needed a vegetable or fries to cut through it. The Deluxe Potatoes just tasted like regular potato wedges. I surprisingly really enjoyed the Banana Tart McFlurry since I don't usually like banana flavor, but the banana flavor was very subtle. I loved the biscoff McPop, but wasn't a fan of the berry or white chocolate flavors because I felt the filling was too overwhelming for those. This McDonald's is located in West Loop and is very clean and straightforward, with friendly service. Great experience. read more

Rating: 3.8/5 [dine in] I was surprised to find a McDonald's in the U.S. with a global menu, so we had to make a visit while in Chicago. Located next to Hamburger University, the restaurant's sleek, modern design matched the school's aesthetic, making the experience feel even more unique. We placed our order at the kiosks, which allowed us to browse the menu and customize our selections. A nice bonus is that you can use McDonald's app coupons here. Once you order, you grab a number tent, find a table, and they bring the food to you along with a complimentary cup of water. Service was fast, and our food arrived quickly. 6 Piece Spicy Garlic Black Pepper Nuggets - Japan ($3.49): I had high expectations for this one, but it was just okay. The nuggets tasted like regular McNuggets with a hint of black pepper, and the spicy garlic flavor didn't really stand out. Masala Shaker Fries - Canada ($4.49): They provide a masala powder packet and a bag to shake and mix with the fries. The fries themselves were standard, but the seasoning was flavorful. BBQ Smokehouse McCrispy ($5.99) + Extra Sliced Red Onion ($0.59) + 3 Stripes of Bacon ($1.87) - UK: This was the better sandwich of the two we tried. The soft potato bun, crispy chicken, and balanced flavors made it a solid choice. If you eat dairy, I'd recommend keeping the white cheddar cheese for a flavor boost. The 280 Dijon ($5.99) + Shredded Lettuce ($0.49) - France: We opted for no Swiss/American cheese and add slivered onions. This one was a letdown. The beef patty was dry and lacked flavor, and the sandwich overall was underwhelming. We ended up adding McNugget sweet & sour sauce to improve it. McPoPs - Spain & Switzerland ($3.99): We got the mix to try all three flavors: Spain's white chocolate & biscotti cookie butter and Switzerland's berry. Heard about an international McDonald's today and of course I had to test it out. The top recommendation was the Korean triple onion burger (and also given that I'm Korean I had to go with this choice first). Sadly I was very disappointed. The burger uses the brioche bun (was expecting the classic sesame bun (which I often associate with my go to Big Mac) so it was a little on the sweet tasting side (not my fav). The meat patty was standard. The burger as the name states gives you a decent amount of onions prepared in three ways (grilled, fried, and fresh) and lettuce. Just not my idea of a burger. Couldn't even tell you what it tasted like. The other choice for an international burger was the McAloo Tikki (India) which is vegan (should have tried this one instead. I also remember seeing banana tart McFlurry (Japan) but was so full couldn't try it. The remaining menu is the standard McDonald menu you see everywhere else. Wondering if they change up the burger options. Wouldn't mind trying the others. read more
My guilty pleasure truly is McDonald's. This is by far the best location in terms of variety and efficiently. I believe this is the location where they train people as it's connected to their headquarters. What's also great is they offer global options here that you can't get anywhere else. They rotate every few months. They also have some special items like chocolate ice cream cones! I always come here when I want the best McD experience. read more

My niece discovered this McDonald's serving a variety of international options while visiting Chicago and was begging for us to go. We decided to try several options, so that we could taste different things. The Mcaloo Tiki was really good. I think it was a falafel patty. The overall consensus though was the McRaclette was everyone's favorite. The location was so busy even at 2:30pm. I was impressed that the staff being all of the orders to the table. We had a really nice time. You can find both indoor and outdoor seating, which was really cool. read more

The international menu items are fun! I had a mango curry chicken wrap, ghost pepper chicken sando, garlic waffle fries and some lil donuts. All 3 flavors of donuts were good. Ghost pepper chicken sandwich was a lil anesthetizing but ok. The wrap was awesome. But the show stopper were the waffle fries so good. Crazy friendly and attentive staff, and very very clean. read more

What a good McDonald's! Service was quick and arrived less than five. Food was perfectly cooked and tasted authentic. Only downside is that there was not many options on the global menu and the elevator smelled bad. Overall great experience and i would come back! read more
So if you didn't know - this isn't just ANY McDonalds... It's the GLOBAL McD's under their HQ! I had friends visiting and somehow we got on the topic of fast food and I had no idea visiting the global menu McDonald's would be such a hit for them, but it was LOL. So apparently this is a fun spot to take out of towners visiting :) Everything tasted like you'd expect from McDonald's (not necessarily the best food lol) but the pistachio McFlurry alone is worth everything!!! Deff recommend checking out the menu online before you go so you can see what global items they're offering! They also offer curbside fyi! Oh - and how cool - some of the tables had built in mag safe chargers! I was impressed. read more
We enjoyed the opportunity to explore McDonald food items from other countries. Opportunity was great but taste left a bit to be desired. We tried the items as described but next time would definitely make a few tweaks ...ie... more sauce and/or an extra patty. Like they say you don't know till ya know!! Since we were already in downtown Chicago and just a short drive to the McDonald's Global Menu Location, we decided to swing by and see what international flavors were on rotation. Having spent a month in India, I was excited to see the Aloo (means potato) Tikki veg burger on the menu. I had to get it, and it instantly brought back memories of the ones I enjoyed abroad. They're also offering Malaysian curly fries (think Arby's curly fries with a twist), though I skipped those this time. Other rotating items included dishes inspired by Guatemala and Sweden but with so many great dining options in Chicago, I didn't go all in here. Ordering is straightforward: there are three self-service kiosks, or you can use the McDonald's app to punch in your four-digit code and earn points. Of course, there's always the option to head to the counter and order the old-school way. About parking, it's rough! There are a handful of curbside pickup spots, but they're almost always full. Your best bet? Park a few blocks away (three or four if needed) and walk. Worst case, one person stays in the car while the other runs in to grab the order. All in all, this location is a fun stop if you're curious about global McDonald's flavors, but just know parking requires a little strategy and patience. Hamburger University is literally next door where McDonald's HQ is. read more

Had to come here as they offer a rotating menu from other countries! When i came in July 2025, I ordered the bacon hot honey McCrispy from Canada, the twister fries from Malaysia, and the McPops mix from Switzerland and Spain. I really enjoyed the McCrispy- the chicken was super crispy and juicy, and the bun was moist and fluffy! The hot honey wasn't too spicy. The twister fries reminded me of curly fries from other fast food chains so they weren't that special. The McPops reminded me of mochis, my favorite was the white chocolate, then berry and biscoff. Came on a Sunday around 1PM and there was a short line to order on the kiosks, then they bring the order to your table. It was a cool experience and I would come back to try their other rotating items! read more
I normally don't go to McDonald's while out of town but I had to come here and try the global offerings! The menu isn't too big, but they have some good choices. I think they rotate it every few months too so today I got to try the bacon hot honey mccrispy, the mcpops and the chips ahoy mcflurry. All delicious! I love the biscoff mcpop the best of the trio, just a soft donut like pastry with biscoff cream in the middle. So good! I normally don't go for spicy, but the sandwich was soooo good. I enjoyed the hot honey and the crispy jalapeños, it didn't have a lingering spice. The bacon was nice and crispy. I thought it was worth the trip to try the global menu items. read more

Came to the McDonald's global menu restaurant the other day to try some international favorites and had a great experience. We ordered our food on one of the touch screens which was a hassle free experience but we were sad to see that a lot of the international items were out of stock. That was a little disappointing since it was the reason for us coming to this spot but we were still able to try out some different items and everything was great. This McDonald's has very nice seating and a very modern interior design. Our food came out quickly and we enjoyed everything we tried! read more

This was such a fun experience, getting to try the international menu. We got one of each and split everything. Our faves were the spicy black pepper chicken nuggets, masala shaker fries and the koldskal McFlurry. It was DIY screen ordering and call a number at the counter, so no real service involved. It was very clean, modern and we would definitely go again!! read more

I incidentally found out about this from a YouTuber foodie. My husband and I were in the area visiting family and tried this McDonald's with a couple of friends. The restaurant itself is very cutting-edge and clean. The employees are very nice and the service very fast!!! I got the McAloo Tikki burger from India. The patty is vegetarian and made of mashed potatoes and peas. I added cheese, but it comes with tomatoes, onions, and a spiced version of burger sauce between two wheat buns. This burger was exceptional!!! The patty tasted a lot better than how it's described. I'd love to make it at home!!! For a side, I got the deluxe potatoes from France. They were very well-seasoned and cooked!!! My husband got the triple onion burger from South Korea and really enjoyed it. For dessert, I got the strawberries and cream pie. Oh my gosh, that pie is better than the apple pie!!! It's the perfect blend of creamy and fruity!!! My husband got the berries pops, which were like fruity donut holes with filling in the middle. He loved them so much, he said he wishes they were available in all McDonald's here!!! This is a McDonald's worth visiting on more than one occasion. This is a unique McDonald's as you can get foods from around the world for limited time. But at the end of the day it's just another McDonald's. It is very large and very quick. Plenty of kiosk for ordering and lots of seating options. I ordered the $5 dollar meal deal around 2pm on a Thursday and despite everything that makes this seem like an elevated McDonald's experience it was the same. The service is really good. But the food is so so. Their sweet potato fries were just ok. But their McPops were so good. My favorite flavor was the berry McPops. The sweet chili wrap was good but I couldn't taste the sweet chili. My double cheese burger was good as always but they added so much ketchup that my patty kept sliding off the burger. The decor and lights were really cool though. Even though the food wasn't five stars it was still a fun experience. read more
There are limited "global" items but it's still worth it to check out if you are in Chicago. We tried the samurai chicken burger and mcpops (hazelnut chocolate and biscoff), both were tasty and flavourful. The location is accessible and is right next to Mcdonalds university. read more

So cool that they offer a rotating global menu so I had to come check it out! I ordered the twister fries from Malaysia, the McPops mix from Switzerland and Spain, and the bacon hot honey McCrispy from Canada. The twister fries were just crispy fries, and though you can't go wrong with curly fries, it was pretty similar to curly fries from Jack in the box or Arby's so it wasn't anything special. The McPops were soft, fluffy donuts and had different fillings inside. I enjoyed the berry and white chocolate McPops, the biscoff one was decent. The bacon hot honey McCrispy was actually pretty good as the chicken was crispy, juicy and tender! The bun was also moist and fluffy and the sauce wasn't too spicy. We came around 1 pm on a Sunday and there was a short line to order from the kiosks (they have multiple kiosks at the entrance but more in the back near the restroom entrance). Service was nice and quick and they bring the order to your table. It's a fun experience so I would come back to try their other rotating items if I'm back in Chicago! read more

(each month they have a new global menu with different items from around the world) loved this mcdonald's experience as you get to try items from around the world without having to go around the world. our global menu: (in order from most enjoyed to least) mcpops (variety: berry, biscoff, white chocolate, 5/5): these were very yummy, like a filled donut, very soft. would def wish they were on the u.s. menu ramen mcshaker fries (5/5): i loved the idea of this as you add seasoning to normal fries and shake them yourself. loved the ramen flavor. spicy garlic black pepper chicken nuggets (4/5): the pepper was a good addition to the typical nuggets but i didn't really taste the spicy garlic flavor, still delicious. mccrispy honey mustard bacon (4/5): loved the crispyness of the chicken! pistachio mcflurry (3/5): not the biggest fan of pistachio flavored dessert but still yummy to try. spicy big tasty (2/5): didn't really taste anything different from a regular burger off the us menu. the staff was very friendly and clean dinning area, wish there more locations that incorporated this idea. read more
Was excited to try the international items during my visit to Chicago. There were only a handful of international items and majority weren't super different from what we normally see on the menu. Tried the ghost pepper chicken sandwich, butterscotch crunch McFlurry, teriyaki burger, garlic pepper waffle fries, and the donuts. The McFlurry and garlic pepper fries were wonderful but the rest were very mediocre. The donuts are super dry and taste stale. read more
We came around lunch time and it was so full! We were able to snag some seats but I would keep that in mind if you're trying to come with a larger party. As a tourist, I was a little sad to see that there were only a few global options. But if I were to have easy access to this location, I would love that the menu switches out for different global locations every once in a while. But it looks like the ebi filet from Japan is on the menu year round because this was my favorite thing we got here. It's a must get! McDonald's located at hamburger university. They have a lot of unique international food items that alternate every few weeks. Overall a fun concept but I think the quality of the food isn't as good as the original locations read more
I'm not sure why some ratings are so low! It's still a MCD after all, so keep your expectations like you would any other MCD. The decor and furniture is quite nice and tables plentiful inside and out. I was so excited for their global menu, where they feature a couple global items that rotate about monthly. We ordered: Big Tasty (Sweden): My personal favorite, a huge burger with fancy cheese. It was juicy and delicious. Lots of tomato slices and lettuce. Chicken Tasty w/Bacon (Switzerland): Our least favorite but it wasn't bad. The chicken patty was a little thin and dry/overfried. The bacon flavor overpowered the rest of the burger. Ebi Filet-o (Japan): My husband's favorite and I really liked it too. Juicy shrimp patty with a few whole shrimp pieces inside. This burger was a bit smaller and buns a little flat like some typical MCD burgers. Salted Caramel Dipped Cone (South Korea): I was excited for this but it fell short for me. The salted caramel tasted a bit off for me. A bit too sweet and not salty enough. Chicken nuggets & fries: We always have to have some nuggets and fried with our MCD meals, and these were yummy as expected! The nuggets were perfectly fried. Service was quick and they brought our order to the table. Some servers were a little cold and some were really friendly, it was fine. Note the global menu items are a bit more pricey, about $7 per burger but some of them are quite large. Overall very satisfied with our experience here and would come back when their menu changes again! read more
