Was here today, usually come most days a week. I ordered a LG water with 5 lemon slices. I tried to pay the 1.08, however they said no. I got the water with no lemon, I then asked for 5 lemon slices, the Mgr said I could only have one. I told her I tried to pay, she didn't care. So I asked if I could buy some, she indicated no price so I gave her 1.00 She came back with 5 slices and no change. I said what? She told me then the water and lemon was free, I said you just charged 1.00 for lemon. I said if it's free I want the dollar back. So rude, and so simple. Probably the nicest McDonald's I've been to. Clean, comfortable seating, you can order via kiosk and they bring the food to your table (or order at the counter like normal). Automatic door entrance, and hand sanitizer stations throughout the eating area. Not sure what more you'd want from a McDonald's. read more

This McDonalds has done great improvement to improve their quality of food and customer service. I only do mobile orders and the staff now is well trained on how to get my order ready and any mistakes they have promptly fixed and made right. I'll definitely at this location again. read more

If I could give a negative number I would. I have never been treated so poorly at a McDonalds ever. I understand that the menu may be limited due to Covid19, but everything we asked for was not available. Ok I get that. But the person on the headset was SO RUDE! He was condescending and I cannot imagine having to work with that "gentleman". Once we got to the window we had to go wait at a different location to wait for it. We were the only people in the drive thru of a location that had the lobby closed. We could see that the person on the headset was the manager. Hit the drive-thru at this McDonald's STAT!!!!!! I failed to heed my own warning and I regretted it. For some reason the employees here just don't give a rat's ass about the concerns of their patrons. I was in line waiting to order an iced coffee before I made my way back to SOCAL and the guy next to me was full on harassing a kid. He was about 60 plus years old and he scared the crap out of this 6-ish year old talking about some random stuff--I don't recall what, but the kid was scared!!! Anyways, the mother started to pull the kid away and the guy followed them, eerily stating, "WHERE ARE YOU GOING? I KNOW RONALD MCDONALD, HE WANTS ME TO GIVE SOMETHING TO YOU!!" Eeek, freaky... the staff stood there and just watched... I mean I dunno what they could've done but either way, would you want to eat at this McDonalds after hearing this? On top of this let me tell you what happened to ME... I asked for the hazelnut iced coffee w/o the ice because I didn't want the ice to melt since it was going to be in the car throughout the night--who wants watered down coffee anyways? So I asked the server who handed me the coffee if if I could have it w/o ice... in front of everybody she aggressively grabbed the coffee from me... flung it into the trashcan and poured me a new mug (plastic cup) w/o acknowledging any eye contact... eesh, how rude... but man the coffee was good, so +1 star for that, HAHA. read more

We left for L.A. early as hell this morning, and needed some nourishment to combat my state of well being and the GF's hangover. To McDonald's! I ordered the Southern Biscuit Chicken combo meal, and GF ordered a Sausage Cheese McGriddle. It was what it was. It killed the hunger and kept the engine going. I was surprised that at seven in the morning they had some brisk business at this location. A group of 4-5 old ladies were talking, and having a good time. They livened the joint up a bit. We got our food, ate it, and shook the spot. This location is right next to the freeway and next to the Mobil/Shell gas station. We got gas, so after the fill-up we drove next door to these cats. This placed was jammed. It was the most crowded I've ever seen a McDonald's. It was a Monday at 9:20 AM and the parking lot was packed with cars; I didn't know if I was pulling into a car dealership or a McDonald's(I knew but I'm trying to illustrate the immense amount of cars). I guess they have the attached Coffee Bean coffee house which might made it even more crowded I have to say I was worried initially. The drive-through line was backed up as well. This McDonald's drive-through line splits in two. Things were adding up to be a time-wasting ordeal. It ended up going very smoothly. I ordered two number twos, one with coke and one with coffee nay can I have two number twos one with coke and one with coffee the other with an extra sausage mcmuffin. The lady taking my order navigated the above mine-field of an order valiantly; she even responded to my on-the-spot order changes. To be fair, she did initially mistake my coke and coffee for just two coffees(at the second window) but I corrected her; she was immediately came back with the coke in hand and not the coffee. Great McDonald's. Be careful though, it might be incredibly crowded; it seems unpredictable. read more

EVERY time I have ordered the anus or steer supreme or McSpensive burger, I have been promised it will be 'freshly made'. Apparently "FreshlyMaid™" must be a trademark of the kind of microwave heater they use to warm pre-made their preformed burger insert pucks, because of the THREE times I have fallen for this, all three were suspect. Given that McDonald's pretty much has the same basic items on its menu throughout the country (if not the world) with Big Mac, fries, Coca-cola, and the American imperialist Ronald McDonald, I'd generally expect the quality of the food to be the same as well as consistent. For the most part, this location has OK food (I like the fact it's cooked quickly and sort of fresh). However, what sets this location apart is that the interior is different from a typical McDonald's...it has a jazz/music theme going for it! And if you use drive-thru, 2 cars can order at a time. Unfortunately, they coned off one of the sections the last time I used their drive-thru. Thankfully, this location's drive-thru is open 24 hours, so that can be quite helpful if you are heading home late at night and every other food place is closed. Yeah, it is a little slow late-night (I ordered through there once after a long study day at college), but at least the food is still cooked and tastes alright at that hour. read more

I've been going to this McDonald's since it opened. Mostly for early morning coffee. I mean, how can you beat their $1 large coffee deal. Plus, the coffee is great. My warning to everyone is to give yourself at least 10-15 minutes of wait time,if you order decaf coffee. It's like Russian Roulette, you never know when you'll get it. Poor service... So, this morning I ordered the Big Brkfst. Asking for 2 extra butter.. Instead I recieved the pre prepared baggie containing syrup, salt, pepper, silverware and 1 butter !! Usually these packets contain 2 butters..and the EXTRA butter? No where to be found Surely did return to McDonald's, spoke w/shift manager she did compensate my meal.. Though it's now 10:36; 3 hrs AFTER my original stop for brkfst... Went thru the drive thru this morning and ordered a sausage mcmuffin no egg and a medium shamrock mocha, The guy was making my drink right next to where the coffee cups are,so I could see the size differences with my own eyes,lol. I can see he is using a small cup for my mocha, I wait until he is handing it to me and ask is this a medium, he says yeah, it clearly was a small, I took it anyway, because I didn't want to argue in the drive thru window. I waited for 7 minutes for two drinks and a fry. If took that long to be greeted by someone at the pick up window as well. There was employees on their phones. I asked for a refund on my card, the manager I'm assuming brought me cash saying their machines can't put refunds on a card which is not true. He got upset with me asking for him to put the refund on my card. As we were driving away he came outside flipping us off. I don't go to mcdonalds unless it's for drinks and I go very regularly. Really nice and the people who took our orders, the guy Myke or something, dis not rush us! Unlike all the other Mcd's in the world! AND this one is open 24 hours! Plus! It is decorated with big band/jazz posters and instruments; a Benny Goodman poster! So I automatically like this place. If I come down to pismo again and I'm craving some Mcd's, I would def make it a point to stop here!
