Worst experience ever! The young, asian, female who was working last night around 8:50pm is very rude. I asked her if I could have caramel for my apple slices and instead of telling me politely that they do not have caramel packets she said "Caramel?! We don't have caramel! *sigh*" yes she sighed and had a look on her face that expressed "Are you stupid?" Also, I ordered chicken nuggets and asked for bbq sauce while placing my order and failed to receive even 1 packet! The store was not busy so I have no idea why I received such terrible service. This McDonald's Smoothie machine NEVER works. They should just have a sign before entering the long line because sometimes people just go for the smoothies or the fraps and they have to wait 30 min to get out of the line. I came to This location through the drive-Thru and I had bad service. My husband paid at the first window I ordered a Sunday and a McFlurry. When we drove up to the second window the girl gave my husband our order and the ice cream was melted and gooey, she didn't give us a chance to even talk she slammed the window. I asked if I could get my money back and she comes back with a large coke instead. Keep in mind the coke had no flavor either as if all machines weren't working. I asked her to return my money and she gave it to my husband looking away, the money would have fell if my husband didn't grab it. Worst experience ever. This place is just straight up ghetto. I ordered a mc-double plain with cheese and asked the girl if the cheese can be melted. She said yes. I drive up to the first window to pay and the girl said " is it okay if I owe you the 31 cents ? " I didn't make much of a deal about it. I pulled up only to find my fries cold as hell and I specifically asked for my cheese to be melted. I checked my burger it had cold cheese not melted at all. I asked the guy if they can melt it for me like I asked at the speaker and he said " sorry we don't do that here " I asked " so you guys just throw cold cheese on the burger ? " he said " yes". The guy didn't want to warm it up probably because the drive through was packed and he was trying to get me out of there as fast as possible. Talk about lazy ! No, no, no. Close this place down! Worst experience I have ever had at any McDonald's. I didn't expect outstanding service but this was just ridiculous. I came here on my way to work with what I thought was plenty of time (30 minutes). I ordered and then was stuck for 20 minutes in the drive thru while getting harassed by a panhandler. When I pulled up to the window to get my food, a fake blonde with too much lipstick on asked me what I ordered. No hello, no anything. Just "what did you order?" Mind you, after I told her, she kept looking at a monitor above her and kept running around for like 5 minutes grabbing random items and disappearing. Then she asks me again what I ordered and almost didn't give me everything had I not checked the bag. She didn't ask me if I wanted sauce, which I did, and I never got a thank you or anything either. When I pulled away, I realized I didn't even get the right sandwich but I had no time to go back and have them take another 20 mins to get it right. Also, when I took a bite of the hash brown while driving late to work, it was raw. After talking to coworkers about my horrible experience, they all said this is a location none of them go to because of service and questionable cleanliness. Ok. Where do I even begin with this travesty of a restaurant. I've been to countless McDonald's over the years and this location is by far the worst one of them all! Upon arriving via drive thru, I see a security guard with bullet-proof vest and firearm at the front door, not a good sign. Then I proceed to order my Big Mac combo and a Happy Meal for my daughter and told them I want extra fries and orange juice. Pulled up and ask the cashier lady (rude) if I can purchase additional toys and she said no and that I'll have to purchase another happy meal. WTF is this? All the other McDonald's that I've been to allow me to do so but just not this one. F*ck up #1. Okay...pulled up to get my order and got apple juice instead of orange juice. F*ck up #2. However, the food lady was nice enough to exchange back to orange juice. Open happy meal box for inspection, they gave me a small white bag that was half full. I went back in and told them I ordered extra fries and the manager lady gave me this dumb look and said that is extra fries when it suppose to be 2 red pouches full. F*ck up #3. Went home, fries was stale and taste like sh*t, coke tasted like carbonated water without the coke flavor. To sum it all up, the food taste horrendous, the service was terrible, no wonder they need a security guard with bullet-proof vest and firearm at this location. Worst. McDonald's. Ever. Reasons why: 1. The last couple of visits I bought a egg McMuffin and the English muffin tasted stale and hard. I don't even know why I keep ordering them from here but its one of the things my daughter likes and I guess I have hope the next sandwich won't be as bad as the last?; 2. I am not kidding when I say the last couple of visits here, they forgot to give me 2 or 3 items in my order. Seriously??? How hard is it to go down the list and make sure every item in the order is present when you call out the customers number?; 3. And here's the kicker...the last time I was here (this past Monday), I found a hair in my food. I took the sandwich back up to the counter and I wasn't even offered another item to compensate me for what I had just encountered. First, if I could rate a zero star I would. I just moved to Pomona to manage a company down the street from this McDonalds and to be honest, every time I have been here, something has been wrong with my order. One time they forgot one of my fries, then the other, they forgot my fish filet. When I went back a few weeks later to get my fish filet, the manager could not find my name in the book of mistakes they have. He showed me the book and said "your name is not in here" there was at least 8 pages of mistakes of missing food. Today I went for lunch and I ordered a fish filet meal and a quarter pounder meal through the drive through. They told me they are waiting for fries which would take a minute and a half, so if I could wait out front and they will bring the food out to me. 10 minutes later out comes this same manager but hes bringing the food to someone else that was behind me in the drive through. He asked me if I had two happy meals and I said "no" and explained to him that those other cars came after me. He didn't apologize or anything just walked back in and said he will be right back. Another 5 minutes go by and no food. I walked in with my drinks and asked for my money back. Again, no apology from the manager as they started the process of putting the money back on my card. The manager stated "we were just waiting for fries" and I said I have seen several cars get their food and they were here after I sat in my car for over 15 minutes. The manager said "I don't make the food, I just take it out." What a dumb thing to say to a customer. Again, no apologies or anything. I will be contacting the owners today because this manager is costing them money and customers. I went to Jack in the box on the corner of Garey and Holt and I was in and out under 7 minutes with all my food and drinks. This Mc donalds is the worst McDonalds I have ever been to by far. The manager is not customer service oriented and acts like we are in the wrong for his employees getting our order wrong. I will go to Garey for now on. read more

Looking down at these last reviews, I can definitely say I would have to agree with all of the negative experiences with these customers. Years back when I first moved here, I came to this McDonald's several times, & I was a dissatisfied customer. I had bad encounters, & I would consider myself a very impatient person when it comes to my meal time. I don't like to wait so long, & I even had this young fellow be very rude to me, I had even called the store for a complaint. I remember saying to myself,"If I could be employed there, I would show those workers a thing or two about customer service & how to get the job done RIGHT! Right? Especially having to bring up the $15 debate. Of course! These people do not deserve it if they can't even get my order right, or let alone have good customer service at LEAST! How dare they ask for $15 an hour! It was not till I actually had finally understood how things go. I actually applied for a job here & became one of their staff. Piece of cake right? WRONG! I met many many great staff & managers who are all struggling like the rest of us. Under pressure, & stressed just like a regular person in life. I've learned out they how work, & basically learning what it's like "on the other side." Now I can see where mistakes can occur. When they are times when I see those in the kitchen working as fast as they could to make the order right for the customer. Not only do they have to get drive thru orders out, but they also have to get the orders out in the lobby. Double the work! Of course mistakes happen, & whoever is bagging the orders can accidentally grab the wrong McChicken when it should of been a McChicken with "No Mayo," because in their mind they're remembering another order they have to get out immediately. It happens! Or simply when a back drive thru employee can see that the people in the front taking the food out in drive thru are struggling, so they will leave their position to help get the line moving.. & a common mistake by running back & a car that should of been charged passes by & accidentally charging the wrong order. It happens! Or simply when you take someone's order, charge them, & they would just like to make another HUGE order on top of it causing the line to wait longer while their are cursing customers in the back honking & demanding you to hurry up, when the wait isn't even the staffs fault. Oh, & this. Those very customers who finally get their order, & though you've repeated it to them many times to verify it is correct before you charge them, they tell you their order is wrong. Yet you have many more people to take care of & it can be stressful & may seem like your putting up an attitude. Or simply when it's time to "single booth." Single booth requires only 1 employee to take orders, cash them out, & take orders & drinks out, by them self. Talk about PURE PRESSURE! Not only that, youare being "timed," where these orders need to be out, or you'll hear it from the boss after hearing it from angry customers from telling you, "you're too slow," or other lovely curse words you'll find in a sailors dictionary. & my favorite, when the customer becomes absolutely furious when the "ice cream machine is broken" or "the frappe smoothing machine" is broken. So they decide to take it to a personal matter & curse you out or demand "free food." Obviously it's NONE of the employees fault if the machine breaks. It happens! It may be a bother to wait in line in order to find out that the machines aren't working, but it's also a bother having to let the customer know that it's broken as well & getting cursed about it when it's not even your fault. There are so much more to share, but since I've worked here, I am glad I've learned the other side of the story. What these amazing staff go through, & managers. They are all great people with a lot of pressure on their shoulders, but they somehow pull through it everyday. They still find a way to put a smile on your face & a good laugh to get your day started. They're a team. All there for the same reason, to try their best to make customers happy & well, basically pay their bills like every other citizen in this world. I definitely believe they deserve $15 an hour without a doubt. Thank you McDonalds for showing me as a person how to become more patient not just with "McDonalds" but for every fast food restaurant. Now when I am in line for a long time, or my food is made wrong, or if they've forgotten to serve me the right order, I Don't worry about it, because I completely understand. To start this off. It good food and great to walk here but I don't know about other people but I've notice that homeless people tend to hang out so much inside and out side the restaurant and they bother people trying to eat. Asking for change and also watching you eat just cause they are hungry. It bother me that the employee never tend to do nothing about it and that the police haven't even came here and do nothing about it. Something has to be done about it this cause these people choose to be living like this and this restaurant needs to do something about this homeless people asking for change all the time and it's all ways the same one. They either need a security guard or the police needs to be here more often . I use to be a homeless but I would never ask for change instead I will ask for work. This bothers me and may be it bother other people cause we bring our kids here to eat and enjoy it but how can we enjoy this family restaurant when homeless people just be asking for change.
