Worst McDonald ever. I understand it's a fast food chain and im not expect fine dining food however I do expect some sort of freshness. Their chicken nuggets always look, feel, and taste as if they been laying out for hours. My daughter and I ate at this location I ordered a grilled sandwich and my daughter had a happy meal with chicken nuggets. I should have known to stop eating my soggy chicken after the first few bites. It was horrible but I was hungry and ate it. My daughter said her nuggets where "crunchy" and nasty but I told her to try to eat it. Biggest mistake. We both got pretty bad food poisoning. My daughter ended up at the hospital that night. Didn't know why but I understand, so I paid with another card. When checking my card history of the day I noticed they charged my card as well as the card that was declined! A solid location as McDonald's go. I'm able to perch -- even longer than the 30 minutes* -- use the free internet and slurp on a soda for an hour or more without being pestered. Restrooms are tidy, the crew efficient, so no complaints there. Parking is rubbish, and the drive-thru gets bogged down at peak hours (see "parking is rubbish", same small lot). * I'd suspect the signage is more to have the OPTION to boot folks versus the necessity to do so, given the proximity to Evergreen College and the desire to doge becoming a study hall for folks nursing a coffee for hours on end. read more

I feel kind of guilty giving such low marks to this location because the employees here have been pretty friendly in my experience. However, the last time I was here, I saw that the guy that had been emptying trash and cleaning the tables just suddenly put down a huge, filthy bin and started preparing food without even stopping to wipe, let alone wash his hands. My sister and I only ever come here for the drive thru and we always get the same thing. French Fries and ice cream. Sometimes we'll mix it up with a burger or one of those grilled chicken wraps. A plus is that they always give us sweet and sour sauce for free even though they're supposed to charge you $0.10 per packet. But one thing is for sure, they rip you off on the ice cream cone. I remember when I was younger and it was this huge swirl and I would always be so happy. Now when I go, it's always just sadness. A sad little mound of ice cream and sad me. I came here just because it's close to the college and I wanted a quick bite to eat between classes. It can be full of college students just hanging around, but they don't cause a drama or anything. They are super slow. If you are in a hurry, don't bother to go there. They are slower than a turtle. Drive thru service supposes to be fast but took forever (it happened to me couple times before). It took us more than 20 minutes to get the food. The cashier lady took a long time to charge the credit card and get receipt printed so we had to tell her to forget the receipt because we were late. A car in front of me was so pissed that the driver took off after getting frustrated with a person taking order. Today, I told my son not to buy from drive thru but coming in. It was big mistake. I came here about 2 nights ago and ordered a shamrock McFlurry from the drive thru for my little sister. We got our food and left. She tried her McFlurry and she didn't end up liking it, so I turned back around and told the worker at the first window if I can get a refund or get a different flavor McFlurry. The worker said I was not allowed a refund or exchange, so I asked for his manager. The manager comes and approaches me very rudely. At first, I asked him for another manager who I was familiar with and knew could help me. He told me yes she was working, but she was unavailable at the moment. I asked him for the refund, and he rudely said "we don't do refunds or exchanges for anything." How hard is it to throw the McFlurry that I had away and just give me a different flavor? It's the same price. Anyways, he started to initiate my refund after minutes of arguing back and forth, and he aggressively held the card machine out the window and told me to put my card in. He was facing the other way, so he made no eye contact whatsoever. As the transaction was in process, I told him I was going to buy an Oreo McFlurry. He ignored me and acted like he didn't hear me. My refund receipt printed, and he grabbed it and gave it to me and walked away as fast as he could. What kind of customer service is this? I come here often to buy food for my nephew and never had a problem until now. After class, I had a craving for some apple pie and decided to buy some other stuff at McD's. I'm a McDonalds lover sad to say. Now with that out of the way, This is right next to my college so it's not too far off when i'm on campus. I actually do drive a extra minutes passing 2 other McDonalds to get to this one. It's large, clean and semi-slow (which means short waiting period). It has Starbucks right across. And it still pretty new which I like. Of course, they do need to clean up a bit with the grease on the buns. Otherwise they're great in my book. read more

Pretty solid McDonalds. The cashiers at the drive thru and the registers do their job pretty efficiently and look like they enjoy their job. It's a pretty nice McDonalds but I sometimes see trash on the tables so I don't think they clean the tables regularly. I must say this is one of the best McDonald's. Hardly any mistakes when going through the drive thru unlike the one on Tully Rd by KR Smith. There is this one lady who works the drive thru and sometimes the 1st window and because we go there frequently we have a customer friendship relation. Or it could be she knows me because I go there 2-3x a week or cuz I have 5 kids lol. Who has 5 kids these days hahah.. we love this place because everyone is always friendly. Ok I know it's McDonald's, but some are really better than others. Personally, I rarely go to any fast food joint just cause my body doesn't know how to digest the food. I have been to this location a few times though. Almost always used the drive-thru out of convenience, but it doesn't turn out to be so convenient after everything is said and done. This store is usually what you would expect from a fast-food place. There was a few messed up orders here and there, but that's pretty much all of the mistakes they've ever done. Except when I ordered orange juice they practically gave me water with a hint of orange juice. I understand that at that time it was near the end of breakfast and supplies were pretty much out, but I'd rather have the employees tell me they didn't have enough orange juice than give me 90% water and 10% orange juice in a cup.
