Extremely rude staff. We had an issue with the order and because they did not add the small fries we thought we ordered, they argued with us. The. The manager came to the window and argued. As the line backed up and the arguing continued, the manager (Rufutio?) asked an employee to video us and said he would call the police on us. WHAT??? That is the type of place this is. The owner of this establishment, who has the worst Yelp scores I have ever seen, should be striped of his franchise. This franchisee is a horrible reflection of the great McDonald's organization. I've been coming here every morning this week for breakfast. Sign says they open at 5am, every day this week there's no one inside to take or complete orders until at least 5:15. I'm a delivery driver and I stopped by this McDonald's for breakfast as it was on my route. I placed the order through the app so that my order would be ready to go when I got there. When I arrived to pick up my order, I found that the dining room didn't open until 6 (its was 530). I was unable to use the drive through due to the size of my vehicle. I called the store as I stood outside the door to explain the situation. The manager on duty at the time (I believe her name is Hailey Barrios) answered the phone. I asked her if she could bring my order out because I could not use the drive through. Her response? She told me to use the drive through. I explained again that my vehicle was too large. I asked if I could walk up to the drive through. She said no. I asked her to bring my order out. She said no. I asked if she could let me in. She said no. I asked for a refund. She again said no. What options do I have now? After standing outside for a few minutes after getting off the phone, another employee let me in. I spoke to Ms. Barrios again and she still refused me any service unless I went through the drive through. I explained one more time that the size of my vehicle won't allow me to use the the drive through. She finally agreed to make my order but told me to wait outside. She did bring me my order but was still being very rude and told me not to do this again. I tried to explain that the app showed they opened at 5 but she just shut the door on me. Never open ontime and on top of that...in the morning if someone is there they don't get on the speaker to say "sorry we are not open yet", they just let you sit there!!!!! I saw a lady through the drive thru window and she just ignored me eventhough they should have been open 20 minutes ago. I have lived in the neighborhood for 15 yrs and this is the first time I went through the drive thru. Simple order: 2 sausage biscuits The speaker on the menu board in the drive does not work or is turned down too low, or order taker has a weak voice. Either way I could barely hear him. The display on menu board did not show my order but since it was so SIMPLE, I figured even an idiot could not screw up 2 sausage biscuits. I was wrong. At first window, I paid my money and did not recieve a receipt: mistake #1. Went to next window where the "waitress" had my order hanging out the window, good for you having it pre-made. Grabbed it and left. Mistake # 2, did not check the bag! When I got to work 30 mins later, I had received 2 tortilla things and not what I had paid for or requested. Had the intercom worked so I could hear the order taker repeat my order back to me which I assume they do, had the display actually worked where my order would have been displayed when I ordered it, or had I been provided a receipt upon purchase, I would be in a much better situation to get this corrected. Ok, I know a lot of you would say "what did you expect" and trust me I'm saying that to myself. I guess I held this place to higher standards. I have my pregnant gf get me out of bed to get some grub and he go down the street to the local Micky D's. Order a vegi breakfast sando and a sausage one and cheese sticks. All n all it took them 15 min to get my food, cheese sticks were cold as ice and her sand had meat. I got my money back because I didn't trust getting my food back untouched. There were two dudes and a girl Working and they were just having a mcflurry party not Doing anything. Looking at me like I was speaking a different language actually! So after I got my money back I drove down the street and went to in n out and got two meals that were much fresher, better quality food, way better service from a neighborhood kid and IT WAS 3 DOLLARS CHEAPER! This place is one of the better drive-thru locations in the Tri-Valley area. It's one of two locations I know of that offers any-size-coffee for $1 (the other one is in Pleasanton off of 680/Santa Rita Rd). Their coffee is surprisingly rich and smooth, even certain Starbucks can't compete with that (I found out the hard way that not all Starbucks are created equal). I haven't been inside, so I cannot comment on the interior, but their drive-thru is quick and efficient. I just want to share a bad experience I had this past Saturday. I had to wait in drive thru line for over 20 minutes for them to take my order then waited about another 10 minutes for my food. When I got my soda it tasted nasty so I told the lady and she snatched it off my hand. I got a 2nd drink and as I drove off put the straw in and sipped then again it tasted nasty like gasses. When I reached in the bag to get a fry, I noticed that it was half way filled, cold and half cooked. This was the worse, HORRIBLE service I have ever experienced. I have to give this place five stars to even out all the bad reviews. This is the best McDonald's and drive-thru McD's in a 25 mile radius. +1 for not adding 1lb of salt to the fries and always having decently/well cooked fries +1.5 never ever getting my order wrong (The only Mcdonalds with this status +1 quick and efficient +.5 $1 any size coffee (not offered at any other Mcdonalds in the area). +.5 open 24 hrs +.5 having a native english speaker taking your order (avoids language barrier problems.) Keep up the good work guys. *Side note* do not go to the McDonalds in blackhawk, they are the worst McDonalds i have seen to date, mainly because of the horrible mexican manager with dark hair. This is by far the best run McDonald's I've ever been to. The orders are taken promptly. The cashier knows your total and makes quick work of ringing you up. My food is almost always ready by the time I get to the pick-up window. They have gotten my order right every single time. If you're short of time, this is the place for you. read more

Gross. I love my Big Mac and I came to this location. It's filthy! The soda area was sticky and dirty and the ketchup spigots had flies flying around them! I wanted to order an advertised special on national tv but the kid working had NO idea what the heck I was talking. Apparently they DO NOT partake in many of these national campaigns! I can't understand why a town like San Ramon has such poorly ran chain restaurants! Seems to be a trend Panera and chipotle also have very poor reviews! My two kids and I went there a couple weeks ago for dinner. Do not bring your kids here! The Playland was incredibly dirty and smelled like vomit. The only reason why we stayed longer than 5 minutes was because it happened to be a good half way meeting spot for my friend and I. We doused our kids with plenty of hand sanitizer and notified the staff on our way out but the look on the face of the supervisor/manager was blank. When I was handed the sandwich I asked if it was grilled chicken. That girl said "yeah" really quick and shut the window. I wish I could say I even got bad service, but I got NO service. I ordered 3 items from the drive thru window and thought I was finished. Then I decided to add a chocolate shake, and that's when the trouble started. After sitting for 2 minutes at the drive thru menu window, I was told to drive around and that the "whole system was messed up." I drove around and proceeded to wait 5 more minutes while the managers poked their fingers on the machine, never addressing me. I drove away. This was the first time I have decided to eat McDonald's in years, and mainly because the food is so bad for you. So I thought, why not this once? When I go here for an occasional breakfast stop on my way to work they're usually pretty quick and mostly friendly. One guy that takes the drive thru orders and collects money is always friendly and professional. Inside is a whole different story. Most of them act like you're bothering them and talk and laugh in Spanish then when they have to face the customer the smile vanishes. I've given this location a few chances and have been disappointed every time. The coffee tastes burnt, the breakfast burritos are cold and they got my lunch order wrong today. I got a cheeseburger instead of two hamburgers, no cheese, no onion. To their credit their Gilroy Garlic Fries have looked most like the ads. Small consolation though. read more
