What we are talking about is fast food. Nothing less, nothing more. IMO, McDonald's is one of the three best fast food chains around. I like the menu choices from the norm of burgers, grilled chicken, salads and now they offer soups. The coffees are good . The Iced Mocha is excellent. Team it with the soft chocolate chip cookies and you have a nice pick me up. Breakfast choices are equally good. I usally go for the Bacon, egg, cheese biscuit. I've been frequentling this location for about seven years. The drive staff is normally pleasant and fairly accurate. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I've had numerous bad experiences at this location..from the manager throwing change out the window at my car to orders never being correct. Now their thing is the night shift can't ever take any orders other than door dash or mobile orders. They might as well shut this location down because it's not even worth going to anymore. read more

I live half mile from this location, so I usually come here when the kids want McDonalds. They are the slowest "fast food" resteraunt ever. Never can get thru the drive thru in under 20 minutes. Curbside pick today, took 25 minutes. The last car in the drive thru when I parked was gone for 10 minutes before they finally brought my food out, without my drinks! I sometimes drive to the McDonalds 6 miles from my house and still get back home quicker than going to the one at 16 Ecorse rd in ypsi. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Once it hits a certain time they don't pay attention to the drive thru. I'm not sure if this is a corporate owned McDonalds or an independently owned one, but either way they should be disgusted in the service. I waited 20 min in the drive thru, I wasn't silent and you could hear me talking with someone else in the car. I called after 20 min and they immediately picked up. What the fuck?!?!? Went there to get a quick lunch for my 30 min break and was just standing there for over 35 minutes. They just could not give me or the 7 other customers and doordash drivers our food and could not tell us why. Mean while there getting orders together for there friends and leaving the register to go hug them and just conversing with each other while wait for nothing. I never got my food. Drive through is supposedly 24 hours is constantly closed in the evenings for no apparent reason other than the weed smoke wofting from behind the store. They mess up my order every single time I have been here. The last time though was the final straw as I will not be returning. They had a sign posted for 2$ Double Cheeseburgers, which we ordered 4 of, and some other items. After paying I notice that is not the price on the receipt. I ask the lady working the window about this. She was rude, and basically implied I can't read. They then proceed to miss one of my sandwiches. Once we told her about that, she tells us she put it in the bag. So now not only can I not read but I can't count according to her. I handed her the bag back so she could go through it herself and see the sandwich was not in there. To top all of this off their fries were a bit soggy, cold, and undercooked. The excuse for not correcting the amount we paid? They aren't able to issue refunds. First restaurant I have ever know that can not access it's own POS system. So I contact the corporate office with the above information. After speaking with Karen who says the manager claimed they removed that sign two weeks ago. They not only did not compensate me for the overcharge, but they did not even offer to replace the gross fries. Karen basically said there is nothing she can do. This place is a joke, slow drive thru, food always incorrect, poor quality and rude employees. And the Manager do not even care enough to make it right when they screw up. Well this was the last time I will spend 20+ minutes in a line to be served sub par food rudely by people who do not care. The other commenter is absolutely correct, there is another mcdonalds 10 minutes away either in canton, or huron st exit off of I-94. We went here with our church through the drive through and they told us they could only serve 2 people at a time because we had 12 kids. They told us if we wanted to order we have to drive back through the drive through 6 times. We ask for the manager and he agreed to this stupid policy. I think they was just being plain lazy. I'd give this a less than one star if I could. Every Time I go here they mess up on my order. They are so preoccupied with talking to each other or goofing around to do their job. For example I ordered an extra sauce didn't get it but it was on the receipt , took it in there and showed them, and they still couldn't understand. So I just got pissed and left. From the time I walked in the door until I got my food, I waited 20 minutes. There were only TWO people in line in front of me and the staff seemed be more interested in serving drive-through customers than paying attention to anyone in the restaurant. Their attitude was lackadaisical and even when we went back up to ask for napkins, they didn't even turn around to acknowledge anyone at the counter. I saw at least two customers who were in line leave the storer rather than wait longer. McDonalds should be a turnkey operation. But this team clearly had no interest in serving customers. I've never been to a more embarrassing representation of the McDonalds franchise. They should be ashamed. My only regret is that Yelp forces me to give one star to post the review - otherwise it would be ZERO. read more
