McKenna has a new salesperson Joe Scott who is NOT your average car salesman. I came in looking for a specific model and color (Audi A5 Sportsback in Monsoon Gray). Joe knew there was one on the lot that had just come in, so we popped into a car and he drove through the car storage building and went around the new cars lifting up the plastic covers (it had just come in) until he found it. Mind you it was 90° and he was running tirelessly like a beast. Once we found it, he said "I know you wanted the Monsoon Gray, but this car is also available in Manhattan Gray. I wouldn't feel right if you bought this car and got on the street and realized you liked the other color better. Do you have a minute so we can compare?" So he found the same car in the different color so I could be 100% happy with my purchase. Joe gave me his cell number so I could text him with any questions I had. When my car was ready to pick up, he asked me to text him so he could come in on his day off to be sure he handed me the keys to my beauty. I was so happy with our service from Joe that my mom went in 2 weeks later and got an Audi from him as well. The team at Mckenna Audi saved me from a great deal of stress after my previous car was totaled. After doing some research online I found a pre-owned car at McKenna Audi that I knew was the one for me before even test driving it. I called right away to see if it was still available. The sales manager informed me that there were many interested buyers for the car willing to pay with cash up front. After hearing my store of how my car was totaled and I was given 3 days by my insurance to find a new car, he told me he would have the car reserved for me for whenever I was able to make it in for a test drive. I came in about 2 days later for the test drive. Upon arrival Joe Scott greeted me and showed me to the car. I ended up purchasing the car with Joe who was beyond helpful and a pleasure to talk to from beginning to end. I would like to add that as Joe worked with me at the pre-owned office, a female manager impeded on the transaction and spoke to Joe in a very condescending way in front of me that made me feel very uncomfortable. I actually got my car from Rusnak, but wanted to give McKenna a chance since it's closer to home & I heard awesome things about the mechanics here. Been here twice, and I've been treated with upmost respect and sincerity. After driving my car for a couple months, i noticed my front air vents (for the A/c & heater) was making this annoying hissing sound while driving. They listened to me, & the mechanics looked into it, ordered the defective part, and replaced it. I also chose to do my 5k maint here. Usually takes 2hours.. But guess what? It was done in 40 minutes or so!! Love the guys here.. Dan & Eddie. They take care of you. Theyre very helpful on the phone, when you pull up, and even while waiting for the service. They explain things that even I (totally car unknowledgable) can understand. I loved how i was able to get an appointment, totally last minute. Water and wifi on mckenna!! The mechanics are great. My car was treated promptly, diagnosed properly, and even sent to the wash. A big plus, it didn't smell of sweat when it was returned to me. Ps. I knew salesmen are shady and unethical at times, and they see you as $$$ and nothing more, but this is just plain ridiculous. The salesman we had, Amir, was really nice and courteous. We liked him. We were even going to buy the Audi Q7 that was on the lot even though we wanted another color besides the one they had. So, most of the family members went home to get something we needed and a couple of us stayed behind. The handshake that sealed the deal was $58,300. As paperwork and signatures were being signed, the sales manager (Mark Gutierrez) comes out and asks if we have proof of insurance for the Audi my boyfriend has at home. Confusion arose because that topic was never discussed or even brought up. The sales manager was supposedly under the impression that we agreed he would use the $1500 Audi Loyalty Incentive for his benefit..... yeah, NO! He has no right to use it because if anything, that incentive was supposed to subtract from the $58,300. Anyways, the sales manager was being rude and said, "If you don't want the car, then fine." He only sold one car that day and I can see why. NOBODY LIKES YOUR ATTITUDE AND SHADY BUSINESS TACTICS!!! We felt the sales manager was unethical, shady, manipulative, and just a nasty person. He thought he could trick us because we were already signing papers. Needless to say, deal was off and papers were shredded. Waste of 3 hours of my life that I can never get back. All the reviewers on here who gave this place 5 stars were either tricked really bad and still don't know it or they're friends of the people that work here (you can tell from the few reviews they have). I was so not impressed during my brief visit to this dealership last weekend. I am shopping for a nice car, but I don't want to buy a beautiful gas guzzler anymore. I want something beautiful and efficient, and hopefully a lot less polluting. I saw beautiful designs, but clearly the car manufacturers aren't really doing that much towards preserving a clean environment. An obnoxious salesman came to offer his sticky services. And we asked him all the wrong questions! "So which one of these Audi's has better mileage and less emissions?" the guy looks at us all so ironic; scoffs... "you don't buy cars for mileage- you buy cars for security and luxury; WHO F'IN CARES if you will pay $600 more for gas, when you drive in style, and fully protected"... Then he continues to dig the hole even deeper: "what benefit do you have from riding in an environmental car, when you die? Cus those environmental cars, you get inside and you are so unsafe, people buy those and die."... Wow! Hmm, dear idiot salesman: I am lucky, I work hard and I can afford to pay $600 more per year for gas. It is not the point; I want a clean car because every time I ride a stinky gas guzzler, I feel like I am a selfish bastard. A killer. The earth is dying slowly, poisoned by the humans, and I am adding to this endless flow of poison, every single day... I wake up in the morning, I shower- and use shampooing, rinse, soap, shaving foam, toothpaste etc... So much soap... And it all goes into the ocean water. Then, at lunch, I go to the seafood grill. In the evening, I go to eat sushi. There! Right there, the soap and all the other known and unknown human toxic waste comes right back at me, enters inside me. Maybe one day, I might as well skip the sushi & just drink up directly from the shampoo bottle... it will save me time, and $150- bucks! So, back to the cars... I buy a safe, nicely designed, fun (300 horses raging under the hood) luxurious sport car, I will probably not die on the road; I will be better protected- in the short term. And then, one day in the near future, all of us will die, together. Because it is clear that we have no clue. We continue to cut the branch on which we are sitting... Before I let you go, let me tell you about this interesting article I read recently, about roaches. Except certain similarities with the car salesman type (mostly in personality), it seems that roaches are remarkable creatures, with unsurpassed vitality and capability to survive in deadly poisoned environments... disasters... cataclysms... A roach is able to get accustomed to most pesticides (or is imune to them!) and the only way to get rid of them roaches is to prevent them from swallowing their food? A striking conclusion to the article, too: if humanity ends up self-destroying, be it with a severe climate change, or a nuclear war, or any other existing way... it is likely that most other mamals will die off together with us; and probably most other living creatures on earth. I noticed that there are scatter of reviews for McKenna dealership in Norwalk. The dealership of McKenna dealt with many different car manufacturers under one roof, but could never get their act together. This is one of the worst dealership to buy a car from. Even worse than Norm Reeve's Honda! The story goes is simple, one of my good friend asked me if I can tagged along with him to help out his "little buddy" (his friend's cousin) to offer moral support for that young man's first purchase of a brand new car. When we buy a brand new car for the first time, you usually would have a support group by you to help out on the first purchase. So I figure it would be a simple snap, but coming here was a big mistake because I should had done a little research about this place before I go. Here's the simple thing: the dude knows which car he wants to buy. A Volkswagon. (oh gosh!!). He knows what was the price of that thing and the young man even did his credit check which he knew what would be his percentage. He even figure out what was going to be his scenario on the money down and even the monthly payment with interests. The dude pretty much lay the ground work for himself already, so any vulcher would be snapping out an easy sale on this point, but we really come to the wrong place for this big purchase. The big problem coming into this small lot (deceptively small) is that they spread out their cars. They also sell Ferrari and Porche for some reason along with BMW and Audi. They put the cars into that guarded underground lot behind the showcase room with the big open window. It was not problem until we asked for Volkswagon cars. Apparently that was a big problem for all the sales staff in the cozy air conditioned showcase room. The VW are all stored across the street in what the used car sales lot was used to be in. Wow, I guess the VW cars were treated like an ugly step child. No problem, lead us the way. Again, that seemed to be a no go as they promised that they will sent a "Volkswagon" sales person across the street once we get accumulated on what we are looking for. Like a bunch of Dumb@sses, we jaywalked across to the forsaken lot of VW because that's how we saw a group of sales person leading his customers back to the main lot was doing the same thing. The crosswalk is a long 5 minute walk inconveniently away from the other end of the lot to another 5 minute walk on the other side to that VW lot. What happened? We were ignored. We walked around and eliminated the choices of cars. We took about 30 minutes walking around under the sweltering sun looking at the cars and waited another 40 minutes for anyone to come across the street. We pretty much wasted over an hour even though the guy told us he would be there or the fact that he claimed any of the sales person would have seen us across the street and would come over to help us. What we have found out is that they don't care about showing us the VW cars and would rather sell the Audi or BMW cars. More importantly, they do not want to risk coming across the street in the hot sun where they can be comfortable in their AC'd showcase room. Let's be honest, I would have bailed after the 30 minutes of walking around, but that 40 minutes was just a dagger. It reminded me of being stood up on a date. Trust me, it's not pretty waiting around. With that in mind, my buddy and I decided to break our little buddy the news that Honda would have been a better choice and that my buddy's wife who had a VW broke down on a freeway taking me to the Airport two years ago. Even worse, that car has over $4k worth of repairs. So we bailed and abandoned a VW search that was ill fated from the get go. We were not the only ones that got stood up, but if McKenna don't want to sell VW, they should get rid off it instead of putting on a Dog and Pony show. Avoid this place if you are looking to buy a new car. It was a bad start for this young man looking for his first car and we couldn't be more embarrassed for him after he realized the car that he wanted was treated with so little regard and even worse...with so little respect and service from this place. read more

This used to be a good dealership. I leased an Audi S4 here last year, and they treated us so well, I came back when it came time to lease 2 more cars. I spoke with Kevin who put together a package for a 2015 Audi Q5 for my mother-in-law's 60th birthday. I felt like it was a solid offer, but I didn't feel like I was getting the BEST deal out there. I tried negotiating back and forth, but I was repeatedly told that the deal I was presented was the bottom line, best offer I could possibly get, deal. Kevin is a great guy and an excellent salesman, but at the end of the day, we just couldn't reach an agreeable number. I shopped Kevin's offer to a couple dealerships and found that he had presented a solid offer. Downtown Audi offered to beat the offer by $200 and throw in Audicare at no charge, but they just sold the car we were looking for. I also contacted Commonwealth Audi, and boy am I glad I did. They blew McKenna out of the water, and I ended up leasing TWO new audis from them because the deals were so great. Commonwealth also did not have the vehicle I wanted, but they had one similarly equipped that cost $1500 more. They also threw in Audicare and offered the Lease wear & tear protection plan at a discount. That is nearly $1750 just for the Audicare and protection plan. What amazed me is that my monthly payment was actually $20 less than "the bottom line" offer that they gave to me at McKenna without both of those packages. The second car we leased from Commonwealth Audi was a 2015 Audi q6 2.0T premium plus quattro. I won't say how big of a discount we got, but after all the rebates and discounts were applied, we were able to take thousands off of MSRP. On top of that, no money down AND they threw in Audicare for no charge! I don't really take the time to write reviews unless I'm really happy or really pissed. I'm sad that the management at McKenna changed because things have really turned for the worse. read more

I purchased an Audi from Nick in 2005. The treatment that I received was horrible. I bought one of the few old models left of the A4 and we negotiated that I would get the compass mirror. Since this didn't come with the car then they would swap mirrors with another car. Coincidentally, I had to schedule a time to do this. They told me it would take 1 hour and I can wait for the car. Well, one hour turned into 4-6 hours! I kept checking on the status of my car while I waited and they kept telling me that it would be ready in 30 minutes. Stupidly, I kept waiting until they told me that it can't be done because of some internal electronic/mechanical system associated with the compass. So, they gave me a free tint instead - which would require me to go to another location (on my own time) to do this. I drove the car home and was about to stop at a drive in when I realized that the change I had in the car was missing. I had put $30 worth in there for emergency purposes, such as parking meter, drive in, gas, buying a paper, etc. Nevertheless, I was appalled by this!! I called Nick the next day and reported the problem. He tried to make excuses for the mechanics but I didn't want to hear any of it. He offered to make it up by filling up my gas tank or reimburse the money. The nerve... Unbelievable!!! read more

I've bought two cars from this stealership....I mean dealership. The first experience was amazing. Our salesguy was "Vlade". The second experience was painful the salesguy was "Nick Locasale". I had ordered a car and had already put a down payment on it. When the car got here they wanted a premium. They threatened to sell the car that I already had a down payment on. They even brought the owner into it. It's unfortunate that a salesguy like Nick, who is exceptional in his knowledge of Audi, would stoop to something that low. When I asked him why he was being so difficult he said he wasn't being difficult......it's just the way he is because he's northern, not southern, but northern Italian. Oooookay. Anyways, the service department is the bright spot of this dealership. Though I haven't been to the service department in years I continue to hear good things about them. Mr. McKenna, I called and spoke to 2 different people and online help wanting to get a quote on a 2014 Q7 after receiving one of your company's newsletter. It was for a $0 due at signing lease. 1st call was made on 8/24/14 around 5pm, spoke to Michael, spoke to him twice, what I gathered that the deal was for a $56k Q7 and that if the mileage was to be increased to 15k/year instead of 7.5k/year that payment would go up to "approximately $35/month". He didn't really want to give me an exact number. 2nd call was made on 8/25/14 and I spoke to a gentleman from the sales floor at 11:33am, I do not remember his name. He did get my name and number down, he promised he would call me at the end of the day for a quote for 12k and 15k/year on the $0 due at signing Q7. No one called. 3rd attempt was I went online and chatted up with James W. I told him about my concern that no one has gotten back to me and he apologized. He got my name again and phone #, promised that someone will call me. I asked when, he said it would be within the day. No one called.
