My car was totaled in a wreck, and I urgently needed a new one. McKenna had a hybrid 5 Series listed for sale, so on Saturday night I clicked to check its availability. Almost immediately, I received an AI-generated text asking when I'd like to take a test drive. I booked one for Sunday afternoon and made the 45-minute drive to the dealership. When I arrived and said I was there for my scheduled test drive, no one seemed to know anything about it. Eventually, I was directed to "J," who couldn't find the car in their database. Frustrated, I pulled up the dealership's website on my phone and found the listing myself. After poking around for a while, she apologized and told me the car had actually been sold two days earlier. Naturally, I asked why it was still listed on their website--and why their AI had scheduled me for a test drive of a car that was no longer there. She explained that they'd been having "problems with AI" and wasn't sure why the system hadn't recognized that the car had been sold. So, the AI's "intelligence" was pretty questionable, and I wasn't exactly overwhelmed by the human intelligence either. What a waste of time. I did, however, learn a valuable lesson: Always call first and talk to a human before making the drive. read more

I just don't understand if your service drop off is at 9:50am with an apponinent but my service technician was in a meeting till 10:20am to check me in. Why even have that time slot available? I even showed up early at 9:40am to make sure that I would be able to get my car done same day that was recommened by your technician. I was also intrested in buying a BMW X3 that my sister wanted but your sales representive didn't want to go show me the car. He just showed me what was online. I'd give no stars for this place however that isn't an option. The customer service is trash and their service center is horrible. I left my car here for a recall repair and when I came back to pick it up there was a fresh scrape and dent on my drivers side door. What was interesting was that the first thing Rob said to me when I picked up my vehicle was how he noticed the dent ((scratching my head)) I told him that wasn't there when I dropped the car off and he insisted it was. Telling me he has video. Yea video of the walk around of my vehicle AFTER I had already dropped it off. From my experience, I had a very pleasant and memorable experience at McKenna BMW. I was in the market for an M2 and kinda already knowing what I want. I had saw their listing posted on their web and stop by to visit. Prior to this visit, I had test driven a M2 already and I know what to expect. I was greeted by Judith who helped me further look into the M2 I wanted. I like what I saw and decided to go through with the purchase. Judith helped set me up for the loan application and I wanted to know what would the final out the door price, which they provided quickly. My sales manager Joshua was nice and willing to negotiate a good deal for getting the car, which we agreed. My financing manager was Robert who helped finalize the paperwork while the car was being washed. Afterwards, it was a wrap and I was ready to drive off with my car. It was around maybe close to 8:45 pm and the whole staff had stayed behind a little after closing, which I did appreciate very much. Although I had came late in the evening, I was in and out of there in a reasonable amount of time. Judith, Joshua, Robert were all friendly and professional who helped me out with the whole process and I can't thank them enough for it. I never felt any sort of stress with buying a car from them. We stopped at McKenna BMW Used Car Sales in Norwalk to look at a 2022 BMW i7 M50 with about 47,000 miles. We liked the car and took a quick test drive. I was very upfront with the salesperson. The car was listed around $52,000, and I offered $45,000 if we could make a deal that day. I specifically told him I knew my offer was low and didn't want to waste his time. He said no problem, the worst they could say was no. He then drove us across the street to the main dealership. The sales manager came out, said we were too far apart, and offered about $1,000 off. I politely declined and explained again that this was why I had been upfront about my number from the beginning. Not reaching a deal was completely understandable. What wasn't understandable was what happened afterward. The salesperson and manager walked back into the offices and disappeared. After waiting outside, we realized the salesperson who had driven us across the street wasn't coming back to take us to our car. We ended up having to cross a major street on foot, around ongoing construction, to get back to it. I have no issue with them declining my offer. But if you choose to drive a customer across the street to continue a negotiation, basic courtesy would be making sure they get back to their car -- even when you don't make the sale. That's what turned a simple "we couldn't agree on price" into a disappointing dealership experience. read more

SHAME ON YOU AND YOUR MANAGMENT! My husband visited the BMW dealership in Norwalk today fully prepared to purchase a BMW M3 with cash. He owns a successful company, but after a long workday he arrived in his Prius wearing his work uniform and an old T-shirt. Unfortunately, it became painfully obvious that he was judged based on his appearance rather than treated as a serious customer. When he politely requested a test drive for the BMW M3, the sales representative told him he needed to "check with the manager first." After some time, the representative returned and informed him that the manager had refused the test drive, without providing any legitimate explanation. My husband remained calm, respectful, and humble throughout the entire interaction. He did not argue or cause any scene, he simply left. However, the experience was deeply insulting and incredibly disappointing. What speaks volumes is not only the behavior of the staff, but especially the attitude of management. A luxury dealership should treat every customer with professionalism and respect, regardless of what they wear or what vehicle they arrive in. Sadly, this dealership failed to uphold even the most basic standards of customer service and human decency. People should never be stereotyped or looked down upon because of their appearance. Today, your dealership lost valuable customers because of that exact mentality. We will absolutely be taking our business elsewhere. I came in on SCHEDULED appt for rear brakes. Of course like a fool I get loaded up another thousand in add on services. Techies in airing they come to me and say they don't have the brakes in stock. They waited u til they got me on the add on services , which in million years I would not of done if wasn't doing the main thing I came in for which is my brakes. I expect this kind of tactics from some shady back ally shop. I hope there is some state agency I can complain to. I'm not tripping over poor customer service. I'm tripping over them doing a thousand dollars of relatively useless things before telling me they can't do my main thing. THATS THE SHADY TACTIC that leads me to warn anyone reading this to go elsewhere. Oh yeah one more thing, as a middle finger to me because I let them know how upset I was they didn't do the normal complimentary wash and sweep car with. The almost one thousand dollars I did spend. Please heed my warning and go elsewhere. If your cars under warranty might I suggest Long Beach BMW or the one of thousands of small import shops that will do the work for much less. read more

Be careful taking it here for maintenance I took my bmw for a cpo repair and as soon as I left 5 mins into driving away from the dealership the car started rumbling and all the lights went on. Somehow it was my fault to cover the repair , they didn't want to look into it and made me pay for a repair that wasn't mine due to their negligence on a multipoint inspection. I spoke to Dwayne and Leo to verify price for a replacement key and the requirement to get one. I'd get a replacement done in Vegas but they want to charge a $200-300 service to "program" a key which is a scam. I'd rather not give them my business. Called here and both people said it won't be a problem. Don't need an activation. Coming from out of town wont be a problem if I have proof of ownership - DL ID and registration. Great. I was coming out to vacation in Disney and my parents live about 20 minutes away. I come in and an older gentleman with a mustache and glasses and no name badge acts like I stole a car. Says my registration has no date on it? It's a current NV registration. Like I didn't pay cash for this vehicle and immediately waves me off not to bother. When I namedrop the 2 gentlemen that helped me he says he calls them and they said we can't do it - .. because I can sue the dealership and get a new car? Brother, what? I drove out of the way to come to this dealership as they reassured me this would NOT be a problem and quoted me a reasonable price but when I get there they refuse to honor what I was told over the phone? On top of that, to act so brazenly rude and act like I don't own the vehicle when I have literal proof of ownership. Then proceeds to lie to me that they cannot order a key because I'm out of state? I can get a key ordered in a South Carolina dealership done today lol. I just need to provide physical proof not digital or a saved photo of proof of ownership. Stop with the BS and lying - don't waste my time. I would not have been mad if they quoted me $800 over the phone or said it would not be a problem coming in from NV. Instead, I made time to come up and they absolutely wasted it. Disgusting coming from a respectable BMW dealership my family has purchased from before.
