went for a birthday dinner with a group of 7. Service was decent and quick. Food came pretty fast and food was average. i think this system and the size of the grill works for a smaller group. For a large group of 7 with a small charcoal grill, space is not enough. The variety and price as a all you can eat is decent. But they stopped filling self serve items at around 830pm which is way before their closing time

AYCE Asian griller. Great for a small group of 4 as it takes time to cook and they have a 2 hour limit. As it was a weekday and not so busy, we didn't feel the staff wanted us out. Shout out to all the great staff who were so helpful and friendly. As it was our first time, they sorted us out and pointed to the centre area for us to grab other cooked food while waiting. I like their seaweed salad and fruits. We order the deluxe level which is the middle of a tier menu. Limited parking so most of us took Canada Line to the Richmond Centre and walked over. Although I had a great time with friends, good marinated meat, and the staff were fantastic, the long cooking time is the only draw back.

All you can eat Chinese bbq place! 3 price level and we chose the medium which is $49 ppl, including premium level Pork Beef and some seafood. We love the short rib and pineapple Beef and fatty Beef the most! Their vent works really well, i barely feel the cooking smell on myself after left there. Services were great! Efficiency and polite!

A pretty cool place to grill some food over charcoal fire. They have a great selection of meats that you can get from their all you can eat menu. We opted for the Supreme combination as it came with all the best cuts of meat. They also have a self service hot station bar. This is a place that should be tried at least once if you are in the area.

My birthday was March 14th but my friends weren't available, and all of us could only come out on March 15th. We asked a staff, and sadly I did not get the birthday person gets to eat free choice. There's a 2-HOUR eating limit, otherwise there's a cost charge for any leftovers. Food-wise, I really liked the differently priced tiers with each tier offering an amazing variety of options. My 3 friends and I agreed on *DELUXE TIER* for $39.85 per person, and it includes all of the food options below its tier which is classic tier for $28.85. All of the beef belly choices had amazing flavour when grilled over charcoal stove, and honestly it was probably my most favourite item on the menu. The chicken wings were on the smaller side but it still packs great flavour somehow. And the 'cold noodle with soup' had excellent flavour as well but it's a hefty bowl so it's better to save your stomach space for just meat only instead of carbs. The downside of my experience is the open bar which you can find in the middle of the restaurant. Its options was pretty lackluster and after circling the options at the open bar twice, I ended up NOT grabbing anything for the counter. Maybe they will change it up in the future, but at the present time I was a customer there, I did not like any of the choices on the open bar. Picture will be attached with caption. Overall, would I come back to Jin Tan Grill House? Yes. I would like to try their top tier called *SUPREME* for $68.85. For the choices supreme tier offers, I hope it's worth it in my future visit. For now, the *Deluxe* tier option was excellent but I might consider just coming here alone or with 1 or 2 friends next time because it is pretty expensive. Definitely recommended.

Love coming for hangout with friends, lots of different variety of food to eat. Different tier levels for different budget. Something nice is that they switch up their ready made food bar often, so you don't get bored of it. Our favourite has to be the corn cheese, always a hit with friends!! Servers there are also very friendly and attentive, ready to change the grills whenever it needs to be done so that's a bonus! Meat always seems fresh and pretty good portion size per order. Strict on 2 hours limit, so keep that in mind. Overall recommend coming here with friends or family for a fun meal!

Arrived at our scheduled reservation time and were seated promptly. Our server was great and took the time to quickly explain the layout and format of the restaurant to us. We ended up going with the second tier of AYCE ($42.85), and ordered a selection of meats to try. They do pretty good with actually honouring the amount of food you ordered. Our favourites were the short rib, blade slices, and beef tongue; all the other beefs tend to be a bit on the fattier side and we prefer leaner meats. Meats were pretty good, there are two powders and a sauce on the table for you to dip the meat in. Sauce was a bit lacking in flavour but the powders were nicely flavoured. I was pleasantly surprised by the appy bar that had a variety of small side dishes, shrimp crackers, candies, crab, watermelon, and even marshmallows for you to roast. The server was really attentive and changed our grill multiple times. My only complaint is that the grill was too slow - it didnt cook our meat fast enough so I don't feel like I ate as much as I could have because of the cooking time constraint. Thicker meats and meats like chicken and pork took really long to cook. They eventually did change the coals out for us but it still wasnt not enough to cook things fast. I would recommend sticking to the thinly sliced beef options so that you can eat at a more optimal speed. Ended off the meal with a soft serve cone, which was not bad. I enjoyed my visit here and might come again if their grills work harder!

This place never fails to put a smile on my face. Awesome charcoal bbq goodness. Excellent side dishes like crispy fish, onion rings, etc and free ice cream at the end too. Meats are fresh and good quality. And price can't be beat! Service fast and efficient. Place is clean and well organized. They take credit and debit! One of the best bang for the buck places. Reservations are highly recommended. Cheers! Happy eating!

We went for a late lunch at 2pm and it was a packed restaurant. Cost was $28.85 per adult and $14.99 per child (up to 11 years old) for the Classic, which is the lowest tier because I figure we can't eat that much at that time. We ended up tapping out after round two. The must gets are the beef belly slices. There were 3 types of marinade but I liked the simple sea salt ones the best and you can dip into your sauces. The beef tongue was on the chewier side but not too bad. Pork belly was fatty and delicious and the pork shoulder was tender. Veggies are very much needed since you get the meat ick after a while to change things up. Service was great and no complaints there.

Came here for their AYCE for dinner. There were 3 tiers to choose from and we chose the middle tier. It gave plenty of meat choices and seafood choices. Definitely recommend booking a reservation ahead. I used google to book a reservation and it led to a yelp waitlist. Use the time you picked on google & don't use the wait list because they don't actually follow it. We ordered most of our food at the beginning & were very full. Parking can be hard and tight to find.

We had a great time checking out Jing Tan! The service is friendly and fast and the food is unreal. The meat quality is great - it's definitely a great value AYCE! I would 100% recommend checking this spot out if you like AYCE!

Charcoal grilling definitely adds that extra flavour, and everything was fresh. But overall it was just an a-ok experience. Not the best BBQ I've had, though still a fun night out.

Strolling up, there was a line. Good sign. The meats in the window were glistening and dripping delicious juices. Through the corner of the glass you could see the meat carver chopping each order and placing it in containers with their signature sauce. We waited a short time and were greeted at the counter. Almost every customer before us was Chinese and I'd watched the staff speak with them in both Mandarin and Cantonese, but both employees spoke to us in English (sincerely appreciated). We ordered a small amount of fatty and lean char siu and some roast duck, which he promptly selected from the window and chopped to order. The fatty was a bit much for me, but the lean char siu was absolutely delicious, and the duck had a nice crispy skin and juicy meat, all of which was delicious too. The sauce took up to the next level. IDK what it is about the soy served with bbq but it's either infused with the seasonings of the meat or the two combine in your mouth to make magic. Parker Place is a solid stop for this type of cuisine and a good starting point for exploring it in Richmond. I look forward to comparing them all over future visits.

If there's one area for improvement, it would be the food temperature. Nothing came out piping hot, which left me wondering if the dishes had been sitting out for a bit -- or perhaps the restaurant just doesn't see as much volume during off-peak hours. It wasn't a dealbreaker, but hotter plates would elevate the experience. We intended on getting the à la carte menu at first but realized that based on how many big eaters we had, it was more bang for our buck with the all you can eat menu. We chose the lowest tier of all you can eat and there were some people who preferred seafood; even if you upgraded to the highest tier the selection in our opinion, didn't get drastically better that it was "worth it". We had a party of six and was seated at a long table with a divider. When we got to our seat, the staff had placed the divider at exactly the table edges connecting the two stove but it was so squishy and uncomfortable for 6 people that we had to move the divider over a little. There's a time limit for all you can eat however with one stove and us not knowing that the vegetables came raw and in full foiled packages, it took a long time to grill anything. Our waitress came over many many times to remind us about the time limit and even then... we were well over our time limit even though we only put in two rounds of food. One stove shared between six people was awful. It's not like our stove could cook any faster even if the waitress rushed us. We were even ending the meal with s'mores and the waitress couldn't wait any longer and brought over the bill. We had to put down our s'mores stick to pay the bill so she could leave us alone to finish the meal... the restaurant was not busy, there were plenty of empty tables and there was no one waiting in the lobby. Did not appreciate the service here. Overall, food was greasy and not memorable (as I just tried a different grilled meat spot a few days prior). The portions were weird. Most of the dishes were severely under portioned so we made sure to up our portions for round two. Our time was up before we could even put in our final round three order. The staff also didn't respect some of the items. We put in ice cream on the first order as people wanted to use it as a grease palate cleanser and it was only when we followed up with the waitress did they say "oh we thought it should be served at the end of the meal instead since it's a dessert". Perhaps following the orders of what customers mark off would help with better customer service....
