When I got over the grammar issue in their restaurant name (I'm a Spanish teacher and am used to being a grammar nazi, especially in Spanish), I stepped through the door and was kindly welcomed in by a lovely, humble young lady. She got our order of a trio of tacos (carne Asada, Al Pastor and Barbacoa) started straight away and also advised on some sangria concoctions they can mix up for you! The restaurant itself is open, light and decorated simply but tastefully with mosaic tile and there's plenty of seating at the clean tables inside and out. We arrived as the sun was setting and decided to sit at the high tables outside where a colleague found us very shortly afterwards with our order. The tacos were delicious!!! The meat is soft and pink but cooked and seasoned really well. Each are plentiful with meat as well as the other ingredients and the sangria mix was strong but refreshing and light. Was so impressed! The only reason I drop a star is because the portion sizes are a little small for the price you pay. Looking for something different in the District I stopped in me Gusta for lunch. The menu offered basic Mexican style food, some with a twist with all Natural Meats, Sustainable Fish and Real Fruit Agua Fresca. -I decided to try the California burrito. You get to choose your protein, mine was Kalbi, and it comes with tater tots, cheese and sour cream. A small side of chips on the side and I ordered a side of guacamole. Kalbi had excellent flavors and I like the crunchy tots vs potatoes or fries. I wasn't sure about the pineapple mint aqua fresca before order but glad that I did. Wow! What a neat little spot. Nestled in the District (which is such a beautiful area to begin with) this little taco shop isn't the easiest to spot. It is well worth the trip in though, I promise you. I grabbed a California Burrito and a chicken taco from them and they were both fantastic. The tortillas had a lovely crisp to them, which paired well with the ingredients they contained. There was a lot of flavor but nothing was overdone. It was all well articulated and it worked together to just be a very satisfying meal. We ate outside, enjoying the beautiful views of the area and the hustle and bustle all around. Not worth the hype. I found this place on Instagram, the food looked so good in photos so I decided to come give it a try. Came here for dinner and there was not one single person eating in there. I tried their fish tacos, korean kalbi tacos and carne asada tacos. Now, keep in mind that I'm a bit picky with my meat. I did not like their meat at all, they contained a "stinky" smell, I believe their meat wasn't fresh at all which is why they carried that funky smell. The meal was also kind of cold when it was served to us. I definitely had high expection for the korean kalbi and it tasted just as disappointing as the carne asada. The fish taco wasn't too bad but it was cold. I wouldn't recommend this place at all. Go to Tacos el Gordo or Taco y Taco, they won't disappoint. read more

I've been eating at this place for the past 6 months now. I go every week sometimes twice a week. They are 100% consistent!!! So far I've eaten their fish, shrimp, and veggie tacos, mission burrito, anthem burrito, and black bean salad! Had a craving for some tacos one day and saw this place nearby. The tacos were pretty good. 3 tacos for about $10, but for that price and the size of the tacos it was a bit high. I've been to other taco places where the portions/sizes were bigger. So I got the Carnitas, Korean Kalbi, and Charboiled Carne Asada. The Korean Kalbi and Carne Asada were definitely my favorite! The kalbi was tender and flavorful. The Asian coleslaw balanced out the sweet and salty taste of the marinated beef. The Carne Asada was the same with its topping, pico de gallo and queso fresco. Very delicious! As for the Carnitas, it was my least favorite because it was way too wet! What I mean is there was too much of the liquid pork goodness in the taco that made it hard to eat and very mushy. The tortilla fell apart after my first bite and the liquid was dripping down all over my hands. I know eating tacos isn't one of the eloquent meals and you need to get messy, but too messy where it ruins the meal and taste of the taco is not so good. With the whole 3 tacos, it also came with some tortilla chips. Now that was very good. Warm, crispy, crunchy! I definitely like that it wasn't all stale and cold like if someone just got it from a big bag brought from some warehouse. So if that's the case, thumbs up for not doing that. (Dont quote me cause I don't know if it's true or not lol) Anyways, I also brought a side of guacamole. The guac came in a one of those plastic cups and it was $2.50. Again, for me the size and price doesn't really correlate with each other and I thought was a bit high. However, due to the restaurant's area it's explainable for the price. Other than that, the tacos taste delicious and the service was good. They had three different types of hot sauces varying spicy-levels in their small fridge, but I couldn't find any salt or pepper. I've passed it many times while at the District and finally joined a friend for an early dinner/late lunch. There were employees lined up on the side tables eating their pre- or post-shift meals taking up seating, plus other customers, so we sat on high stools at the tall table. I'm pretty short and was wearing a short dress so between balancing on this high metal stool where my feet didn't quite touch the little foot bar, keeping my knees together and trying to hold my burrito and maintain conversation...well it didn't work. What we ordered: the 6 tacos for $18 (pork belly, korean kalbi, carne asada, and barbacoa). All the tacos fully loaded, with the right seasoning. The pork belly and kalbi, soft and tender which also gave off a sweet taste. They also sell burritos, seafood options, and desserts. We also both checked in and got a free agua fresca on one order. A complainer Mexican here ‍ I usually have nothing but bad things to say about "Mexican" places outside Mexico. I came because it was close and was craving some spicy comfort food, but I didn't have great expectations. Well I was wrong, the piña-bassil agua was amazing, the habanero salsa was spicy and great and I ordered a bowl (not really mexican, I know) but the barbacoa was actually good, reminds me more to a good salpicon more than barbacoa, but great regardless. Looks small however I was full pretty fast without feeling sick. Prices are good, except the aguas frescas, they are very expensive. Came here for dinner our first night in Henderson. We didn't know what we wanted after a 10 hour drive and decided on this place. Super glad we did! The tacos are amazing! My nephew had the spicy bacon burrito which he also loved. My wife had the me gusto bowl, with no meat(she is vegetarian) and it was also top notch! I love this place. I go to lifetime gym across the street so it's a really convenient choice for a post workout meal. The staff is great, the environment is clean and the food is tasty, clean, and consistent. I can always count them for a high quality meal at a decent price with fast service without rushing me to the bathroom haha. In my opinion, the freshest tasting meat will be the Korean kalbi, barbacoa, and the carne asada. The fish tastes too fishy and the chicken is kind of bland for my liking. This place is very simple and clean. I love the food here for 3 reasons. Simplicity, consistency, and the fact that it's one of the only taco/burrito spots that doesn't ruin my stomach if you know what I mean. I wish they had another location near my house because I'd be there every week! My weakness, the bulgogi tacos! It's sweet, beefy, and DELICIOUS all around! You get three tacos in one order which is enough to satisfy hunger. You can also add some salsa which you can take from a mini fridge. I think they make them fresh because they look like it. The service is okay. Nothing worth remembering but I'm a fan of the ambiance and pretty much everything in the menu. I have yet to try the juice they make but upon check in, you can get them for free. I was a little too late to redeem mine so I saved the voucher for future visits. ME GUSTA ME GUSTA TACOS! Some people may point out that Me Gusta Tacos is not authentic Mexican food. This is true, but that it does not sway you from experiencing these deliciousness tacos. I ordered the 3 tacos for $10 deal. They have a great variety to choose from; a more traditional choice like carnitas to a fun, fusion choice like the Korean kalbi. I decided on the pork belly banh mi, the carne asada, and the kalbi. They were all delicious! It was a close race but I have to say that I enjoyed the banh mi the most-- what a mouth watering combination with those pickled veggies and the cilantro! UMF. I also had a bite of the California burrito ($9). Instead of usual fries you find in a cali burrito they use tots which is fine with me. The tacos and the burritos are served with non-GMO tortilla chips (oh hey, fancy now). When you dine in, you can go to the little fridge off to the side to pick up your own salsa bottles. There are three different kinds to make sure that everyone in your group is happy. Talking about things that make me happy-- they also serve breakfast all day long! I know I can't speak for everyone, but I can have a breakfast burrito ANY time of the day and my tummy will be happy! The next time I'll have to try the side order of corn. I love me some elote! They serve agua frescas ($4) here. During my visit they had pineapple, watermelon, hibiscus, and strawberry lemonade. Make sure you use that Yelp check in for a free agua fresca with your meal. Sofa, beer, and wine are also options on the menu. And you can't leave this place without trying a churro ($3)! They have cinnamon sugar, Bavarian cream, and caramel. These are filled churros. For the sake of trying something different, we went with the Bavarian cream and the caramel. My favorite of the two would have to be the Bavarian cream-- it was like a churro and a donut had a baby. The caramel one was alright, but it was a little too sweet for my liking. Also note that this place has great service! The guy that helped take our order was friendly and even offered us samples to help with that important decision making. The food came quickly and he even made a trip to our table to help clean up our table and throw away the trash. To end this review with a "I'll be back" would be an understatement.
