Came here because we were in the area looking at houses we can't afford. This place has 4.5 stars on Yelp. I was, shall we say, highly anticipating a great meal. The place is small on the inside. A couple tables. This is mostly a take out place it seems. The menu has all the Mediterranean staples: hummus babaganoush, shwarmas, gyros. We asked the guy what was good since it was our first time there and he said chicken. So we ordered a chicken and a lamb shawarma and a baklava. About 10 minutes later, our food was ready and we took it to eat in our car. The chicken and lamb were honestly, both underwhelming. They were by no means bad, but just lacking in flavor. The lettuce that came in the shawarma was not dressed. There was a sprinkle of sumac on it but it would be much better if they actually dressed it with salt, pepper, oil, and vinegar/lemon juice. There was I think a slice of tomato and some hummus on the bottom but you couldn't really taste it. The lamb especially did not have the charred flavor that I like in my shawarma meat. It was plenty tender though. The baklava was baklava. It was super sweet and the dough was crispy. I haven't had a bad baklava. The prices were average for the area. Chicken shawarma was $9 and the lamb was $11. Our total came out to around $25-30. This place is ok. I probably wouldn't go out of my way to come here, but if I lived really close, I might come in occasionally to get my Mediterranean fix. Not sure how other people are giving it such high ratings. read more

I'd like to try their gyro next. - Babaganoush is good and hummus is creamy. - Greek fries- pass on this, not enough feta and the fries were soggy. I like my fries crispy. - Pistachio baklava. We ordered the chicken shawarma sandwich and Greek fries and both were amazing! The chicken in the shawarma was cooked so tenderly and each bite was bursting with flavor. We've had Greek fries plenty of times elsewhere and Mediterranean Grill seems to have the best garlic sauce consistency so far. All their dishes are priced just right which makes this place even better. Aside from the lamb shawarma plate ($13.99) everything is less than $10. They also have amazing sides such as lentil soup, dolmas, and babaganoush. The service is fast and I was relieved to see that the workers maintain good handling with food preparation as I saw them wash their hands and don gloves prior to touching the food. We went here for dinner after a couple of years. The new owners are awesome. Very friendly and welcoming. We started off with the Greek fries. The portion size was HUGE and they were absolutely fantastic. I couldn't stop hogging them. I got the Chicken Shawarma Plate. This is definitely one of the BEST I've had in the city. A very generous portion of very juicy, tender and flavorful chicken on some delicious rice with a perfect side salad and some warm pita and hummus. Doesn't get better. My wife got the falafel wrap while my friends got the cauliflower wrap and the falafel plate. They were all really good too. The owner was really nice and brought us some dolmas on the house and they were really nice too. Overall we genuinely loved the food and the service. The place is small but absolutely packs a punch. I've been looking for a go-to Mediterranean spot since I moved to the Eastside, and I think this one may be it. Located in a small strip mall on Bel-Red, this place delivers what I want when I have a craving for shawarma. I've visited multiple times during COVID and have ordered the beef, chicken, and lamb shawarma plates. Each plate comes with a protein, rice, a small greek salad, hummus, and pita bread. Definitely a complete meal with each plate! The meats have always been tender. Not the most tender meat I've had in my life, but they're definitely soft when you bite in. The sauces that are used to cover the meat and rice provide a herby, savory element as well as some textural contrast, and the Greek salad gives just enough acidity to cut through the meats' fattiness. The pita bread always is warm and fluffy, and I love how you can essentially create your own gyro by stuffing your pita with the other components in each plate. Pricing is pretty reasonable given the amount of food you get - you should expect to pay roughly $15 for one person. From what I've seen, there isn't a lot of space inside for tables, so I wouldn't recommend dining in with a large group. And though the strip mall is small, I've never seen parking to be an issue. I think people sleep on little gems like this one, but this is worth it if you ever have a craving for Mediterranean cuisine and want a casual meal. read more

I love this place - I have been coming here for many years! The food is consistently delicious, very accommodating of vegan/vegetarian options, and very friendly staff. My favorite is the Mixed Veggie Plate - it comes with a warm, fluffy Pita on the side as well as Hummus, Baba Ganoush, Rosted Cauliflower, and Falafel over salad. I also do enjoy the Falafel Sandwich. Coming back from Morocco recently, I was craving some middle eastern food and Mediterranean Grill did not disappoint. Ehh, my overall impression of this place was good but the food just wasn't that great. I ordered the falafel plate via Uber Eats twice (actually didn't realize I was ordering from the same place- but they had the shortest delivery time). The food was packaged and presented well. Came with rice (bland), a side salad (perfect), hummus (just okay) and a warm pita (good size). I wish this dish came with a tahini sauce. Between the bland rice and the falafel being kind of dry, it was hard to get though the entire meal. Overall, this tastes like mall food- not bad but not very flavorful or memorable. I might order this again if I'm desperate for a quick lunch, but I'd definitely add a side of tahini sauce to hopefully add some flavor and moisture. read more

I've been here a few times for chicken shawarma and the food has been good. The restaurant is a little odd just because it's in this weird nook and the kitchen seems bigger than the area where you eat and a. Few times I've been in here it is hot as hell temperature wise thought my face would melt off. The food is good but I usually get it to go most of the time also they have kids there all the time whenever I've been there and they are doing some type of job, which is cute and all but hope they aren't really working there since they are young and the vibe for me is off.
