Walk in and order, fix drink while they prepare the food... You can watch your food being prepared. They were out of the bacon carbonara. I had the redneck gyro and grilled veggies. Even though the veggies were cold they were still seasoned well and tasted good. The gyro was delicious. They have upgraded to nice plates instead of the plastic baskets they used to have. There is a casual ambiance with chairs and tables out side sometimes as well, last night they were all stacked up.

A small (seating ~30) BUSY place, especially for TOGO, which is what I picked up. I ordered/paid ahead of time. Had about a 5-minute wait for my food then I was gone. We had two redneck gyros, one with a side of roasted veggies, the other with carbonara orzo. The third gyro was a regular gyro with the cucumber tomato salad as a side. My small complaint I have w with my side, the carbonara orzo. Could've used a little more savoriness to it, as it was missing a little something, not sure what it is. Also it was overcooked but unless you make every side of orzo to order, not sure you can get around that. Either way, a positive experience, I will absolutely return. They have an extensive menu, plus baklava...

First time trying this place out. The service is great! Quick to order and you get your food fast. I ordered the Greek Bowl which is the Greek salad (Lettuce, Tomatoes, Onions, Peppers, Cucumbers, Feta Cheese, Kalamata Olives, sun-Dried Tomato Vinaigrette), but it also comes with hummus,Tzatziki sauce and your choice of protein (roasted chicken, beef-lamb, beyond meat, dolmas(4), and falafel) I went with beef-lamb. Portion - 5/5. you get a very big portion. Plenty of veggies and meat. All tastes fresh. The reason I am giving it 3 stars is because there was WAYYY TOO much tzatziki sauce. My plate was drenched in it. That's all you could taste. Unfortunately it was very overpowering. I would definitely give it another try! Overall, try this place out!

    "Basmati rice"

I actually love y'all food, but OH MY SWEET BASMATI RICE!! I decided to order basmati rice today, because I always get the salad or the orzo salad for a side. Since, I love basmati rice and I cook it often, I was like, "let me give it a try, at this place". When I got home and opened the container, I was like, "no way, is this basmati rice". So being hopeful, that it would at least taste decent. I took a bite and to my disappointment, it was disgusting and raw. I had to spit it out. This was definitely not basmati rice, but some short nasty rice. I just want y'all to do better with cooking rice. I can go teach y'all.

Based on the idea that I'm becoming more health conscious and open minded to try something new, this place was spot on. I ordered the Redneck Gyro Beef-Lamb Meat, Conecuh Sausage, Smoked Gouda and Mozzarella Cheese, Lettuce, Tomatoes, Onions and Cajun Tzatziki the first visit and tasted The gyro- with Beef-Lamb Meat, Tzatziki, Lettuce, Tomatoes and Onions on Pita Bread. Everything was yummy. They also offer several delicious vegetarian and vegan options. The Greek salad was fresh and tasted even better with the added rotisserie chicken. Everything had good flavor, and the prices are reasonable with a side and drink combo. I enjoyed the healthier options used, and the taste of the ingredients were refreshing and rememberable. Double thumbs up!

FUN FACT: MSC, was the first restaurant I visited in Mobile after dropping off our U-haul. We needed something fast, yummy, and preferably NOT a national fast food chain (I mean, a girl has standards-- even when riding shot gun in a moving van. lol)! By way of their redneck gyro, MSC introduced me to the conecuh sausage mania that has a stronghold on Mobile, Alabama! Randomly, Chef Stu of " Sip and Chew with Mike and Stu" was at the restaurant on my first visit and took the hubs and I on a tour through the menu and made great recommendations! (I had no idea back then what a local rockstar Chef Stu was!) I loved the gyros, I'm not crazy about the pasta sides, and the drink machine labels are quite hilarious as well! MSC is a solid, local option for a great sammie!

The pork was seasoned right, and everything worked together the way it should. But honestly, the bread is what sold me. They make it fresh in-house, and you can tell. It's light, airy, with just the right bite--exactly what a banh mi is supposed to be. The spot itself is small, but clean and well kept. It's more of a walk-up-and-order setup, not a sit-down-with-a-server kind of place, which I actually don't mind for this style of food. Just know what you're walking into. Drinks are grab-and-go from a cooler--sodas, water, tea--so don't expect fountain drinks or freshly brewed sweet tea. That said, they do have some interesting specialty drinks on the menu like fresh sugar cane with durian and kumquat, which I'll probably try next time just out of curiosity. great food, solid spot, and absolutely worth the stop. We'll be back.

So glad I found a decent Banh Mi spot in the area…read more The fresh spring rolls are prepackaged, but made fresh daily so they are pretty good. The sandwiches are good, but coming from having fantastic options in Tampa I have to knock them a star for the French bread not being as authentic as I'm accustomed to, and the "butter" (really mayonnaise) needed to be on the sandwich or it's pretty dry. (of course I didn't ruin my sandwich with mayonnaise) The meat wasn't lacking flavor, but it still could use a bit more seasoning and the beef was also a bit dry. Disclaimer: I don't eat pork or mayo so you can take my review with a grain of salt!! They also have a sugarcane drink that you could get with kumquat or Durian. I got the Dorien flavor and it was great. My mom got kumquat and she said it wasn't very flavorful. I'll order a chicken bunny sandwich next time to see if they deserve an extra star or a demotion. Overall, I'm glad that this place exists next to a shopping plaza with more Vietnamese options. I'll definitely be back on one of my trips to Costco when I'm staying in Pensacola.

It was delicious and made with some of the best bread I've ever tasted. I also ordered a bowl of chili, which was hearty, flavorful, and generously packed with beef. We're not usually soda drinkers, but we decided to try the house-made root beer, served in a frosted glass. It was incredible--rich, refreshing, and unlike any root beer we've had before. The kind gentleman who took our order was genuinely delighted to see how much we enjoyed everything and even surprised us with a second root beer on the house, which was such a thoughtful touch. The little market was another highlight. It was filled with unique, wholesome products, many of which are sourced from the community's farms and workshops around the country and the world. It made for a fun and interesting shopping experience. And whatever you do, don't leave without trying the sweet potato pound cake. It was easily one of the most delicious desserts I've ever had--moist, rich, and completely unforgettable. Between the outstanding food, warm hospitality, and unique atmosphere, this was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Highly recommended!

It smells like old mop water has been used numerous times without being changed out. The dining room had crumbs and some paper on the floor. The floor leading to the bathroom was very sticky. The bathroom was clean tho and did not have an odor which is good. M daughter had just taken a 2 hour test and was starving so we stayed. The cashier was very kind and informed us of the oven being broke so no hot sandwiches. We each ordered the pick 2. Mine was soup and salad. My daughter's was sandwich and salad. Honestly, nothing special. The soup was very very thick. Looked more like a congealed soup. I didn't bring it back. I simply didn't eat it. The salad tasted good enough. My daughter had hardly anything on her salad except lettuce. Said her sandwich was messy but good! There appeared to be something going on with the employees. I could hear a couple of them fussing. Meh, it happens. It was $30.00 for 2 pick twos. Seems a bit high for sub par food. There was a lot of parking but it was empty for a Saturday. The location is very convenient especially in front of Target. There are a lot of choices to eat on and near Schillinger Road. I highly doubt I'll be back there. It's a shame too. It was really good when it was good!!
