So first off this location dropped their franchise of Meet Fresh and is now been rebranded to Coffee27. Most of everything is still reusing Meet Fresh bowls and paper bowls/cups as they transition over on a lazy way. Ordered their signature Ice Grassy jelly named similar to how Meet Fresh had it. The grass jelly is still very good, with large colored mochi balls on it. The bottom ice is still nice and sweet but a bit different in texture than the Meet Fresh dark ice. All right other add ins like jelly and boba is missing. Still a great dessert and would still come here for it. Fruit shave ice has been completely phased out :( and the owner wants this to be more of a coffee place. I don't understand this as there are so many empty new coffee shops around and places like Twinkle Tea, Molly Tea, Cha Express, and 7 leaves already full this void and have much of us loyal to them already that there really isn't a room for another coffee shop... Service with Diana handling both ordering and making the orders was awesome and see her getting overwhelmed with just apologizing and trying to explain to transition to so many disappointed customers that ended up walking out is very discouraging. I do hope this place improves and does something different to draw people in but at the moment they will have a uphill battle. Give them a chance though as it's still a good place to kick back.
I've never been to a more lackluster Meet Fresh or cafe or even franchise for that matter like ... barebones give us NOTHINGGGG Literally half the menu isn't even able to be ordered but they can't even take it off the kiosk and you have to reference all the notes + signs before you place your order because it being on the kiosk does not mean it is actually available !!! And you HAVE to order at the kiosk they won't take your order in person!!! The girl working there was actually so unfriendly like I am sorry that your management is doing a terrible job and you have to deal with everyone's questions ("hi sorry so does that mean XYZ is unavailable? Can ABC be substituted for DEF?") but these are valid questions given all the signs and everything going on! Also she THREW spoons onto the tray my friend was holding like ... that was so unnecessarily rude ?? The food was fine but ... service and management is NOT it !! Handle your inventory better and don't take out your frustrations on your guests!! No taro paste, no taro anything, no crystal boba, no mochi q, no mochi in general, no mango... just so much is unavailable and those ingredients are BUILT INTO the sets when you try to order! I'm the type that doesn't skip dessert. But I'm an old lady that needs to watch her blood sugar. So when I saw this beautiful Pudding & Q Mochi Milk Shaved Ice, I opted for 50% sugar It was so good! The sweetness of the milk in the shaved ice wasn't too sweet, which is just want I wanted. The mochi definitely had the QQ factor. They had a bouncy chew. The larger Q mochi consisted of a brown sugar mochi, which is basically boba, and a regular one. They were sweet, so it paired well with the less-sweet shaved ice. The mini Q mochi didn't taste like anything, so they were there purely for texture. There were also almond and caramel puddings. The almond pudding was reminiscent of haupia. And the caramel pudding was basically a flan. Though, it did have coffee notes. The melon jelly was a little sweet, and also brought a different chewy texture to the dessert along with the crunchy coconut flakes. And on top was a scoop of vanilla ice cream with caramel. This dessert was truly a feast for the eyes and stomach. Despite this dessert looking large, it was actually the medium size. It definitely could feed a party of 4, so it was plenty for a party of 2. We couldn't finish it. We were there late in the evening, and there were signs everywhere about the unavailability of the bubble waffles. The employees even taped a sign on their backs! We were there a second night, and even more dishes weren't available. So it seems it's better to get there earlier in the day, unless they're having inventory issues. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a very large space with ample seating. And they have large screens where you can check your order number[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It can get pretty noisy, but that's part of the vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I hope one day to get their waffles.
Tried a new Meet Fresh location, and enjoyed our experience as always. This one is located in the front corner of the Hilton, which has underground parking (as well as some time-limited spots at ground level). [[HIGHLIGHT]]I liked the decor of this location, and it is huge.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The staff member I interacted with was very sweet, and helpful, and our dessert (the passion fruit icy) was fantastic. That being said, this also does have all the usual hallmarks of seemingly every Meet Fresh I visit: [[HIGHLIGHT]]On the surface it looks clean, but all the tables are for some reason kind of sticky.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Kiosks that make it overly difficult to find what it is you want to order (Which is why I had to find a staff member - the item I wanted wasn't listed in the section that it's supposed to be in). Menus scattered all over the counter, and this one had a lot of - while very cute and well drawn - signs saying they were out of a LOT of items. And clearly this was a long-term problem, not only because these signs had clearly had time put into drawing them, but also the menus had full sections blocked out with tape. It's just a lot of really simple things that could easily be fixed and make a Meet Fresh experience all that much better.
It was definitely my first time here and I had a good experience here. The desserts I ordered were very nice and nicely presented and tasted good as well. Maybe I will order something else to try, but if not, I might order the same thing. The Boba drink was nice and fresh, especially on a hot weather. The service was well and efficient and accurate. It actually came out fast. Now that's a service!
This is next to a hotel by Atlantic Times Square. This is a huge space with bright lighting, and lots of seating with couches and large tables. There's 2 large ordering screens at the front but you can also order with the staff at the front counter. I did this since it was taking a while with people taking their time to decide. The desserts and drinks came out pretty fast. I got a tofu pudding with taro balls and was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't too sweet at all! It didn't seem like there was much sugar added to the tofu pudding and taro. The only sugar came from the sweet soup. Very refreshing on a hot day!
I like the location as is it's close to the freeway, restaurants, AMC, and supermarket with the hotels on top. There's some 30 min parking but otherwise you will need to walk from the structure. I parked at the 30 min so not sure if the structure is free or paid parking. You need to order from the kiosk. The items on the kiosks does not have a price tag. As a paying customer, I would like to know how much it cost. You can find out by either checking out and looking at the cost or go out of line and look at the front TV waiting for it to change to your item if it's on there. I ordered the Mango sago and the egg waffle in matcha red bean, chocolate and original to go. You need to make sure the boxes are not stacked once you get to the car so the cut out holes in the boxes allows the moisture to escape so the egg waffle doesn't get soggy.Personally I like the chocolate the best. Not too many places have egg waffle so I'm happy a spot closer to me has opened. The Mango sago was overly sweet but still good. However at $12.50+ tax and potential tip, it's quite expensive. I'll rather go pay for a meal or just get a boba drink.
While I must confess a slight preference for traditional ordering methods, my difficulty with the kiosk is simply a matter of personal familiarity. Thankfully, a staff member kindly assisted me in ordering the Icy Passion Fruit Sorbet Bowl Signature, and I thoroughly enjoyed the delightful textural variety. My husband also appreciated the sorbet. I had initially hoped to order a mango shaved ice dessert, as pictured in the window display. I believe the mango-shaped items were mini q? I enjoyed all the toppings, while my husband enjoyed the Sorbet.
I enjoyed trying Meet Fresh for the first time! [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a great place to chat and relax so i would come back here for dessert with friends![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I do strongly feel that $15 is too expensive, especially if the medium is only a dollar cheaper. The dessert itself wasn't that special as well. The toppings were good but I preferred more flavored ice.
First time.e trying out this location, vs the Temple City one. Love it! The staff is super friendly. The portions are huge! Tried two grass jelly specials and a shaved ice. Had plenty to bring home. Plenty of free parking in the attached garage (shared with Holiday Inn). Felt less crowded and not as chaotic as the Temple City location. Will be back!
[[HIGHLIGHT]]Can never really go wrong with Meet Fresh (besides that its usually crowded) but I came to this one after watching at AMC nearby and it wasn't that crowded around dinner time.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered a ice sherbet bowl and it came out in about 2 minutes. Delicious dessert and everything was as I expected. Love that they opened until 11 pm on Friday so was able to hangout until it closed.
I've tried multiple Meet Fresh locations and this one is pretty nice. The place wasn't too busy at night. Ordered a large Thai Tea shaved ice which was seriously huge. Definitely large enough to be split with at least 4 people. I think this is one of the better shaved ices because when the ice melts down, it still tastes like a regular Thai tea vs a watered down dessert. It might be a little sweet to start for some. It doesn't have a dedicated parking lot, but does have a parking structure with some 30 minute spots. The inside is spacious with a good amount of tables. But it might be hard to hear if your order is ready if you sit at the opposite end of the room

My kids were so disappointed. We waited 40 mins to order, 40 mins to get our order, and they only gave us 2 of the three scoops we paid for. Before their full opening, they should probably train their staff a little better, and reset their ordering kiosks once in a while. They were sooo slow. On the plus side, they have a lot of promos right now, like $1 grass jelly milk tea. I got it half sweet and it was so watered down. Hopefully they get their processes down after all their promos are over. read more

Meet Fresh finally opened in Monterey Park! It is located at the corner between the AMC and Ralph's from across the street. The interior is beautifully decorated, very clean, and with plenty of interior seating. You can order at the counter or the two kiosk as you go in the entrance. They put down your phone number after placing the order at the counter, and you will receive the text when the order is ready. When you finish eating, you place your plates and dishes in the window right of the kiosk. *** It wasn't possible to access my phone internet while I was sitting inside. I got the Icy Grass Jelly Signature and Crystal Mochi & Mung Bean Cake Set. They were good and filling. Can't wait to try the other items next time! read more

Decided to check out the new MPK location, it's nice and bright location with lots of windows and seating. Only a few parking spots in the back, I imagine once the hotel opens there won't be any close parking. Came at 3pm on Wednesday and the $1 milk special was already sold out, would have been helpful if they put a sign up as several people were trying to add it in the kiosk, I left to ask them they told us it was sold out. So people going back and forth trying to figure things out. Ordered the shaved ice with pudding and mochi, but there was no pudding. Guess everyone is still in training so they don't know the menu items...TRIPLE CHECK your orders are correct before leaving. Thankfully I checked and got the pudding on the side. It wasn't even a crowded time so I can't imagine how the weekend will be now that it's getting hot. I won't be coming back anytime soon until they work out all the problems and definitely not ordering to go! read more

I feel like I'm a Meet Fresh super fan at this point so I know which locations to go to and which to avoid. For now, I can confidently say that this location is top notch. The interior, service, and the food were all amazing. I have no idea when this location opened but everything looked brand new. The employees were also very attentive to any needs the customers might have had. Whenever I go to a new Meet Fresh location I always get the Q Mochi and Pudding shaved ice to test if the location is up to par. I was not disappointed with my shaved ice at all. This glorious but delicate mountain of ice and toppings was made almost perfectly but was still very delicious. I'd recommend this to everyone. Parking is behind the building but it's very small so you may have to park on the street or walk from the shopping center next door. read more
I've dined at other Meet Fresh locations, but this was my first time at the MPK location. I last visited on Sunday, 9/1/2024 at around 8:45 PM. We ordered: M(Q) Mochi Shaved Ice $13.75 + tax = $15.16 Order includes: Mini Q, Melon Jelly, Potaro Balls, Q Mochi, Ice Cream Description from their website: "The Q Mochi Milk Shaved Ice is a great option if you love all kinds of toppings! We feature our signature Mini Q (Mini Taro Balls) and Potaro (Sweet Potato Taro) Balls for a taste of our finely harvested taro and sweet potatoes, sweet and chewy melon jelly, and smooth and chewy Q Mochi and sweet and creamy vanilla ice cream." It comes in a funny but not practical shape. It's basically a super long mound of shaved ice with the mochi balls, etc. on the bottom and a scoop of ice cream on top. The shaved ice is not meant to support the weight of the ice cream so when you eat it, everything is falling off - which I do not like lol (esp. if you prefer to be a clean eater). Although there is a lot of toppings, they don't give you too much of everything. This was tasty, however, it is not worth the price in my opinion since it's not that much. This wasn't too sweet and I wish there was a bit more condensed milk. Seating/Ambiance: Indoor seating is available, and the interior space is pretty spacious. This place was crowded, but we were able to grab a seat. The shop was pretty loud from all of the patrons. I didn't really see them come out and wipe the tables, so it was a little dirty when we sat down. Customer Service: Not much interaction since we ordered through the self-ordering kiosk. Overall, my husband and I enjoy Meet Fresh from time to time. However, this place is so expensive for what you get. We may be back when we are craving it, but it wasn't the best experience. read more
The dessert is delicious and great location for tourists and locals. Service is amazing! Their big screen television has three categories: Dine In (green), To Go (yellow) and online order (blue); it's so organized. The ambiance is calm and pleasant where you can bring your friends and family along and have some dessert while you can talk. Also they use coffee creamer that I can have instead their own. Had a late night dessert date with my oldest daughter. It wasn't too crowded and we were able to get a table. The table was sticky. When the employee walked around he was wiping tables but didn't wipe the one we were at. We didn't get our desserts yet, so that was weird. The shaved ice was so good. I am still thinking about it. I got a hot red bead soup for my husband (togo). It was not sweet at all. We originally wanted the boba shaved iced but there was no more black sugar... So that was disappointing, but it forced us to try something else. I also got a q-mochi set togo it was delicious! Overall a great addition to Monterey Park. The location, even though new, is a bit sketchy. You have to park near.the hotel and walk and we saw some odd people just hanging around. A lady dancing to herself and a couple grinding...not something an 11 yo should see. There as security but he didn't do much. Just be mindful and stay alert. read more

This place opened just yesterday so we had to check it out. I love Meet Fresh and am so happy they opened one closer to me. I love the interior design of the space - very clean, high ceilings and welcoming design. The space has many seatings areas that feel like their own booth to enjoy a drink and shaved ice and talk with friends. We decided to try something different today and each ordered a drink and a mochi shaved ice. Their mochi never disappoints! It is sweet soft and chewy, and so delicious! Their shaved ice is also delicious but not as good as their signature of course! I got their Jasmine green tea and it was perfect! My friend ordered a drink and didn't like it and the servers were happy to help her change to another drink. This place gets very busy, so if you happen to come during a rush be prepared for a short wait, otherwise I'd highly recommend if you're looking for an authentic taiwanese shaved ice & drink shop. read more

Of all the other Meet Fresh that I've been to, this one ranks easily at the bottom for a few reasons. Their grand opening was messy - to be expected - with customers out the door and orders backed up by nearly 30-60 minutes (sorry for the hardworking staff). The poster on the door mentions a BOGO deal, but upon using a magnifying glass or squinting, there's text about it being limited to the first 200 customers. Many customers even by closing had asked about this. There were signs near the kiosk of no grass jelly, but the items were not blocked off on the kiosk. When customers ordered those items, they would get "backlogged" and the wait time was infinite until the customer inquired and got it "substituted." The pancake machines - thankfully no candid pictures - had seen better days. Changing grass jelly to shaved ice, I noticed that the dessert was mainly a few toppings on mounds of ice. After the first few minutes, that ice may taste bland as water, so make sure to ask for some condensed milk, though when pictured it sounds a tad unappetizing. Overall, the staff are friendly, but it's going to be a while before I consider returning to this Meet Fresh location. The only plus is that the staff are super nice and welcoming; I'm excited to see how Meet Fresh improves in the coming weeks. read more

New Meet Fresh in MPK. Located in the same plaza that is also shared with Holiday Inn. They share parking which we had no trouble finding. The service was quick and we got what we ordered in a timely manner. Its self service - you order at the kiosk and wait for your number to be called. read more

I accidentally ordered my meal for dine-in, but I told the staff that I wanted it to be to-go. The male staff member told me I had to use a small box for takeout. I explained that the portion was large and asked why I couldn't use the regular to-go box. He said if I wanted the to-go box, I would have to pay extra. I asked him if there's a price difference between dine-in and to-go orders, and he said no -- but still refused to give me the to-go box unless I paid. I don't understand why I should pay extra for the box when I'm already paying the same price for the food. This is not just $5 order. I don't get it why is so cheap for giving the TO GO bowl!!! read more

I really wanted this place to be good. I grabbed a couple items from this spot but sadly it did not impress. The service was fairly quick and this isn't a review on the customer satisfaction but the taste of the items I am not sure if it was because we showed up right before closing but everything lacked flavor and sweetness. Their Boba itself is really good. The place itself is beautiful and looks relaxing to hang out in. Hopefully my mind will change after trying their shaved ice or mochi/mung bean cakes. read more

Place was spacious and clean. Decent amount of tables and chairs for sit in. There was limited customer parking in the back, slotted for 30 mins. Just enough time for a pick up order and not sit in imo. I ordered in app., and my order was still not ready after the estimated completion time. I waited another 10 mins for my order to be completed after arriving, total time 25 mins. Didn't seem too busy either when I arrived. There is no cash payment. Order is through a kiosk or on app. No ordering waffles 30 mins before closing time. They offer free wifi. I ordered the herbal grass jelly drink with extra grass jelly. Idk how much standard amount of jelly would be, but it didn't seem like a whole lot of jelly for the extra cost I paid for to get 2 extra toppings worth on top of the standard amount that already comes with it. Tasted as you would expect a grass jelly drink to be. Jelly was more on the softer side vs firmer texture. This was actually the only drink/dessert place I could locate that sells this. I also ordered matcha red bean waffles. It tastes amazing while still pipping hot. Mixture of soft yet crunchy edges. Would definitely order that again. read more
stopped by here again bc I rlly wanted smthg cold and meet fresh was closest shaved ice place to my house. I literally told myself in the last review that I would nvr come here again bc of how sweet and expensive this place is but haha here I am and boy should I have listened to my last review because genuinely was and am SO DISAPPOINTED. I literally feel like I got scammed. I accidentally pressed Togo for my shaved ice order and tell me why the Togo size is literally a 1/3 of the size of the medium sized shaved ice u were to get if u ordered for dine in. like that absolutely insane to me bc I literally paid the price to receive the portion of a medium shaved ice. it's upsetting as a costumer to pay a whopping $19 for a literal serving bowl of shaved ice. Also I asked for a 1/3 sugar bc last time it was so sweet. and tell me why they literally gave me 100??? like it feels like they got my size and sugar messed up bc how r they giving me 100% sugar and a third of the size I ordered. my shaved ice was practically 75% sugar and 25% shaved ice, and the ice was basically melted when received bc it was drenched in sugar. alsoooo I ordered sesame balls and grass jelly on top and paid and extra .75 for the jelly and 1.25 for the sesame ball yo receive only 2 balls and half a scoop of jelly??? this is actually so upsetting. NEVER EVER COMING BACK HWRE AGSIM bc I am so dissapointed by meet fresh' quality and service. if u are not gonna ask actually follow the preffered sugar level then why ask? read more

I come here quite often and pretty much order the same thing every time. Usually there isn't any issues however my shaved ice order yesterday was not sweet enough and also came with too much ice. That wasn't the issue, the issue was my order today. I ordered my usual, pudding shaved ice and they completely messed up on my order. Not even sure what they gave me. The shaved ice had no pudding and random mochis thrown inside. It's really not a huge issue but I pay $17 for 1 dessert and can't even call the store to let them know they messed up my order? It's frustrating, I've tried contacting them via phone on multiple occasions and the phone never goes through. What's the point of even listing a phone number here if it's not a working number? I ordered almond soup with added taro balls for takeout. About 10 minutes after leaving and getting in my car, I opened it to drink and realized there were no taro balls at all. The store's phone is unreachable, so I can't contact them for a refund, and I'm already on the highway, unable to turn back to resolve it with the store! - Renew the review 12/30 8:56pm Two days later, I returned here to address the issue I encountered previously. The store manager was very decisive and offered me a new drink, making it in front of me to ensure it was exactly what I wanted. I'm truly grateful for their proactive handling of the situation. So, I'm updating my review to reflect this experience, and I hope their service continues to improve in the future! read more
Busy place! Definitely so since it's the middle of summer and shaved ice hits the spot. It's pretty popular so definitely a wait, but worth it if you want some unique Taiwanese desserts. Relatively big spot with tables. Worth getting it to eat in instead of take out since the shaved ice is massive! Worth sharing!! I got the Taro Shaved Ice and the Grass Jello. Very nostalgic for me as I grew up eating the "canned" version of it while this is made fresh. May not be everyone's type of dessert, but worth a try if you're feeling a bit adventurous and want something other than ice cream! read more

A new Meet Fresh has finally opened in Monterey Park, and I saw this yesterday after seeing it on Yelp! Due to the limited size of the parking lot, parking can be difficult to find. There are many spots throughout the large, spacious Meet Fresh where you can enjoy the desserts. It appears that there aren't enough employees to take your orders; instead, you have to use the kiosk, which has an excessive number of options; selecting what you want may take up to ten or fifteen minutes. There may be a queue and a lengthy wait. From June 1, 2024, to June 6, 2024, Icy Grass Jelly Signature is on sale for buy one, get one free and from June 4, 2024 to June 10, 2024, Grass Jelly Milk Tea for just $1. read more

Pretty good, I loved the chewiness of all the components and they are generous with the tapioca pearls. They have a lot of space inside and is nice for large groups. Wasn't a fan of the taro (very grainy texture) and I wouldn't recommend doing takeout because they are stingier with the amount of ice that they give you. Pretty slow service read more
Went to the new location & it was packed. The ambiance was well lit & newly decorated. Tried out the Q Mochi Milk Shaved Very yummy, I loved the black sesame mochis & wish they had more of those! All the various mochis were perfectly soft and had a nice satisfying bounce to them. Perfect sweet treat & shaved ice was refreshing.This is perfect for 4 people. We were 3 girls and had a little bit leftover. Service was faster than most times considering they are known to take a bit, I came close to closing hours. The workers seem kind of tired though, but it is understandable, as it is bustling and busy. read more
I LOVE MEET FRESH!! almost as much as i like ateez. i customized a bowl and the servers were really nice and answered my questions about the menu. the taro balls grass jelly shave ice combo will never not hit. i did get a dirty spoon which they replaced but i'll be asking for the disposable spoons in the future. i hope a meet fresh can open in indiana soon read more
Meet Fresh has always been my go to when it comes to Taiwanese desserts. The ice is similar to a snow cone consistency which I don't mind and the syrup they pour on tastes similar to winter melon. My favorite part are the taro balls, black sesame balls, taro paste, and tapioca. I love texture in my food so I really enjoy this dessert with the crunchiness of the ice, chewiness of the taro balls, and the thickness of the taro paste. At the end, when you are almost done with the dessert, it turns into a cold, dessert soup when the ice melts down, it's delicious! The ambiance of Meet Fresh locations are usually clean and have space where you can sit with your family and friends comfortably. One complaint I have is that the service is not the best. I think the service is a bit slow and I find myself waiting for my order for a long time. In addition, the locations I go to they only do orders at the kiosk, so you can't actually ask questions or request something different if I were to talk to the worker. But overall, this is a great Asian dessert spot and you should definitely try if you want something unique. read more

I ordered a wintermelon tea with mini ball 50% sweet, and even asked the cashier to make sure it was half sweet then add extra water. Despite that, the drink was extremely sweet -- I couldn't taste the wintermelon at all. The taro balls also tasted noticeably different than usual, different shape, not chewy, fresh texture like other Meet Fresh locations. I've been a big fan of Meet Fresh and have visited many locations, but unfortunately, this experience wasn't up to the usual standard.
