This review is for a boba tea I had the hubby order to bring home while he was out. I requested a passion fruit tea with boba and grass jelly, half sweet. The hubby brought the drink home and I was so excited to dive in. He mentioned that there was no way to adjust the sweetness, only ice level, so I was a bit apprehensive about what to expect. Turns out, it wasn't super-sweet, so I was okay with what he got me. I love that they use removable lids - it makes it much easier to add more ice after the car trip home! The tea came with a generous slice of grass jelly and perfectly textured boba. The flavor of the tea itself was fine. I was hoping for stronger tea flavor, but it was more watered down than I had hoped. I keep going back to the boba texture - that alone would bring me back to this place for their drinks. I ordered the new iced Thai tea tofu pudding bowl on the app for 6:25pm. First of all they texted that my order was ready at 6:10pm. Thankfully I was already in the area. So I went to pick it up and it wasn't in a Togo container. It was in the bowl as if I ordered it to eat there. If it's an online app order, I assume it's just all Togo. So I told an employee and he literally just poured it into a Togo container. Mind you, it was already half melted. Disappointed I just left with my bowl. When I got home ready to try to enjoy it, I realized there's just tofu in it. None of the other toppings that come with it are in there. It was supposed to come with boba, potaro balls, sago, shaved ice, thai milk tea, and tofu pudding. It was literally just tofu pudding. Mobile ordered, no items on pickup shelf, so and stood in front of "Pick Up" counter like an idiot for 5 mins while two workers couldn't be bothered to look up or acknowledge my presence. We got the ice jelly shaved ice this time and the ice jelly was very pretty. It looked like translucent stones and paired very beautifully with other elements of the dish. It cost about $14 including tax in general which was overpriced for a medium sized shaved ice. The toppings were red bean, the translucent orange, and mochi balls. The toppings were fine and it had a very earthy taste, but I preferred the mini taro balls. read more

Drinks Herbal Tea Fresh Milk Jin Xuan Oolong Tea with Black Sugar Boba I was a bit disappointed after taking a few sips of the Jin Xuan Oolong Milk Tea with Black Sugar Boba. Hoping for the tea flavor to be a bit stronger, but the fresh milk was a bit much. I ordered 75% sweetness and redeemed the free topping deal via Yelp for the black sugar boba. Surprisingly, the drink wasn't sweet considering the sweetness level that was ordered. The Herbal Tea is reminiscent of the Herbal Tea from 7Leaves and Hong Van grass jelly can, but much sweeter. I ordered 50% sweetness level and still felt it was too sweet to drink. Customer Service The staff was efficient with making the drink orders and friendly. There are 2 self-service kiosks to place orders inside. An SMS notification will alert you when your order is ready to pick up in the designated area. There's plenty of seating areas ranging from small to large tables for dine-in customers. Very casual spot to grab a bite or for takeout. I was craving a waffle and came to meet fresh as I knew it would be a quick order! What's nice is that you can order from kiosk which is super easy. The area is pretty big and there's lots of seating. Its a spot where most people get to go drinks and desserts! I ordered a matcha waffle and my order took fairly long while a handful of others who ordered after me got their orders before me. I finally received my order and said thank you, but the worker did not look at me or say a word or anything... Acknowledgement is super important in the service industry. Kiosk system advertises promotions and specials that you cannot actually order through the kiosk. Not in itself a big deal if the next thing I experienced wasn't the case... Incredibly rude/unhelpful people working here. When it was unclear how to order a certain item from the kiosk, I went to order from the counter. Got the death stare and was asked to order from the kiosk because they were busy, which they were not (only one other customer inside). Told the guy at the counter I was having trouble ordering one of the items through the kiosk and he replied "oh you can't order that on the Kiosk... I guess I can help you in a second...." in a frustrated tone. Looks like other reviews echo my exact experience. Drink came with barely any of one topping and completely missing the second topping. Was almost not sweet at all despite ordering full sweet. Tofu pudding had almost none of the two toppings we ordered and seemed off. After being treated rudely by staff, waiting a really long time for our order, paying handsomely (the drink was almost $10 by itself!) and then at the end of it all, receiving items that were poorly made and missing toppings...
