Came back since my partner needed a place to complete some school work and this Meet Fresh definitely does have an impressive set up for anybody who needs a place to settle and work--especially during this hot weather! I decided to try their QQ Mochi Milk Shaved ice and it honestly was pretty amusing to eat! The mochi was soft and chewy--definitely fresh! The shaved ice could still use some work as it's still rough and crunchy textured rather than soft and snowy like I associate shaved ices to be. Either way, I'm giving them an additional star from my previous review for the tasty mochi and the kindness of the workers to get my partner hooked to their Wi-Fi. For anyone who wants to get WiFi, It seems like you have to ask an employee to get into their WiFi! read more

If you want some decent Asian ice cream dessert and don't mind the place not being so clean, this place is for you! Don't get me wrong, a lot of the hole in the wall restaurant are very highly rated. Just ignore the cockroaches and enjoy the taste! There are no cockroaches here at Meet Fresh.. I was just trying to be funny why people say hole in the wall. Good food, dirty venue. Anyways, this location is in the Rivermark complex. Lots of people during busy hours. You make your order through their kiosk. They have a lot of dessert items to choose from. You can get ice cream, boba tea, red bean shaved ice, waffles and many more. The workers still wear gloves and a mask when I went so that was pretty cool. Walked in when they opened at 12:01pm, and was the first to place my order - one black sugar milk tea. At 12:15pm, no drink. The staff said 5 minutes. 12:20, no drink. Apparently the boba was still being made. No communication, no apology, nothing. Just "it'll be ready soon." AT LEAST COMMUNICATE WITH EVERYONE THAT YOU ARENT PREPARED TO OPEN. A simple "boba isn't ready until 12:30pm" sign or communication from the staff would have been sufficient, and I would have saved myself 25 minutes. Absolutely ridiculous and worst customer service. read more

I should have read these reviews before going there. Not all Meet Fresh locations are created equal. If I could give this place zero stars I would. When we came in, 2-3 customers ordered before us. Store was mostly empty. Yet it took over 40mins and me getting upset for then to get me 2x tofu puddings (each containing 1 topping). We will NEVER go to this Meet Fresh location EVER AGAIN! read more

This location is in a shopping center that seems to always be busy. It's located near the back of the shopping center across from one of the exits by Safeway. I've come to this location twice in total. I ordered the black sugar boba shave ice. This dessert reminded me of halo-halo but with a big twist. So I enjoyed the dessert. I wish I could give more stars but I waited what seemed to be 15-20 minutes, I was the only person there! Their ordering system is card or mobile pay only. No cash is actually handled I believe. I don't mind that, I do mind typing in my phone number as it's a huge screen and everyone can see. The ordering wasn't difficult, you had options to add more toppings but once you hit, "add to cart" you cannot edit the order. It was a bit tedious & I was discouraged. There were 3 workers in the front & one in the back kitchen, while I waited for my order, no one seemed to care how long I had been waiting. Just sort of looked and kept doing what they were doing. Whatever they were doing wasn't preparing my order. The shave ice dessert came with a scoop of ice cream, boba, caramel pudding. I added rice balls and mini taro balls. I was a little hesitant to come here when they opened. Once I saw the sign saying that they were building it, I wasn't exactly excited. I went to the one in Cupertino a few years ago and I wasn't impressed. My boyfriend and I decided to go since it's the closest boba places to where we live. They're across from Fantasia, which I don't go to anymore since they're way too expensive. The parking gets a little tricky once the plaza gets busy, but they do have a few quick parking spots on the side that are meant for to-go orders. When we got there, they were very busy! All the employees were working and their prep area looks kinda cramped. You can order at the counter or they have self-ordering screens. We ordered from the self-ordering screens which was useful since we can customize or drinks and not have to worry about it being customized incorrectly. One thing I didn't like is that the wait for our order was HELLA LONG. I've actually been here 4 different times now and each time I've waited at least 20 minutes! They do have online ordering or ordering through their app, but for some reason they still take really long. Another thing that was slightly inconvenient was that the menu on their app is different from the menu inside the store. For example, the store has the custard pudding as an option for a drink topping, but the app doesn't. Other than those 2 things, the pricing is pretty good! We really liked our drinks and even at 100% sweetness, it's not overly sweet. I really like the custard pudding! Sometimes I just get the custard pudding with boba and it's only $2! read more

So happy that this opened up in my backyard - download the app and order before you arrive, as long as your orders are in before 6:30pm. Note also that for this location, they are only currently open Thur-Sun. The menu is extensive, but I will get through it all... for now, here are the initial impressions: 1. Signature Ice Grass Jelly Grass Jelly is a rooibos tea based jello and they give you a big lump of it, along with what looks like two dozen choices for toppings - and you can have it served with ice or hot! I believe I chose boba and lychee jelly to accompany the jelly. Next time I'll get red/mung beans and/or sesame rice balls. 2. Boba Tofu Pudding The pudding flavor is not pronounced, so don't expect what they normally put in pudding drinks. It's more subtle, yet still refreshing. 3. Oolong Milk Tea Good, not noticeably unique or outstanding. I would not come here just for boba drinks. 4. Sesame Mochi Packed beautifully, but I thought the outside was dusted with an aroma and flavor that resembled coffee grinds more than black sesame. On the palate, any sesame flavor was muted, but the gooey center is where you finally discover more pronounced flavors. Meet Fresh is always just OK for me, regardless of the location. They have a gigantic menu that can be a little overwhelming but you can explore the different options by using the self-ordering kiosks. I randomly craved a cold treat that had sago or mochi and decided to try the Mini Q Coco Sago Drink (summer menu). This drink has a lot going on in here...it's visibly about 50% toppings, but felt like 80%. It contains sago, mini taro balls, and taro paste which really got in the way of the overall drink, I felt like I kept drinking the paste more than the milk. I probably won't order this drink again. To counter this complex drink, I also ordered their simple boba milk tea. The tea was delicious! You can instantly notice the roast-yness of the tea and the boba was soft and chewy. read more

I've been to Meet Fresh plenty of times but this is my second time at this location. It's smaller than the Cupertino location but there's still plenty of booths and tables to sit at, and the layout is very similar. I always get the shaved ice and this time was no different. There were maybe 3 other customers in the place at the time. I could see the workers...and after 10 minutes and no drink appeared at the pick up counter, I went to ask about my drink. Worker says...its been ready. It's at the front counter. What???? Apparently pick up counter is for food only. Would have been nice to have been greeted and told how they operate. I didn't expect huge portions. Taro sago dessert beverage was just right to my low sugar tastebud at $7. Total was just a bit over $13 combined. Choose from a variety of teas, boba milk teas, fruit teas, sago desserts, egg waffles, ice cream, mochi snacks, and more. Typical Asian dessert menu. It looked and felt very organized inside. Free water self service and trays available at the top counter for dine-in. Return trays at the middle section/open slot window area with sink for hand washing and trash bin available. Clean job. Customers are low key folks. Not too much happens here during weekdays around and after 12 noon. Peaceful and quiet. Good customer service. Sit wherever you want. No lines. Self kiosks for ordering or go to app. I left very satisfied today, so yes, I do plan to revisit again. Lots of public street free parking weekdays. Not crowded. Love this location. Came in and ordered on the self kiosk. We got the ube paste boba and the brown sugar milk tea along with a choc chip waffle. My friends got ube soft serve too. Overall everything was really delicious. Store was clean and lots of indoor outdoor seating. We were kind of annoyed they didn't call us and we had to keep looking amidst conversation to see if our orders had come out. But other than that it was a good experience. Eating shaved ice brings back happy memories of eating shaved ice in Taiwan on the hot summer days. I got the Taro Paste Volcano Shaved Ice and the combination of ingredients is pretty good. Taro paste is a new thing apparently. I used to get the large shaved ice with big chunks of taro, mochi balls, and red beans but they don't seem to offer that option anymore. Probably a cost factor. The taro is offered as an optional extra topping but I would have to get like 5 extra orders of taro to reach what they had given me before. Ive come here many times with my boyfriend and his family and generally have a pleasant experience but on this past Sunday it was different. The store looked busy which was cool I love seeing a business thrive but the young man at the counter was really rude. We saw a customer ask for help in using the kiosk but the young guy told her to use the kiosk in a less than patient tone. I ended up helping her with her order. Then we asked if we could order at the register. Guy was rude to my boyfriend and dismissed it as they were busy. NO you weren't because the big group got their food while us and this woman were deciding what we wanted to order. Our order on one of the shaved ice bowls was wrong as well but I was annoyed with how we got treated that I didn't even want to bother with the young man or the woman helping him in correcting it. read more

I was intrigued by the seasonal almond soup bowl that was advertised on the menu and I'm glad I tried it! It's super tasty and perfect for the colder winter months. I'm normally not a fan of a bunch of toppings, but all the flavors/textures go well together. It has a mild sweet and nutty flavor. The only things I have noticed is that it's inconsistent with how many toppings you get. The first time was mostly just liquid soup, but last time there was a decent amount of toppings. The Signature hot red bean soup contained plenty of goodies including 2 sesame rice balls (delish), taro pieces, taro balls (2 colors) and boba (aka tapioca) in a thick (not too sweet), well-simmered blended soup.
