We went for dinner on a Sunday evening around 6pm. The place was pretty full but we were seated quickly. The service was excellent and responsive. We had our appetizer with in 10 minutes of sitting down and had our pizza show up as we were finishing with the appetizer. Our server was incredibly attentive and had the forethought to put our daughters mac and cheese order in to be served as soon as it was ready with out being asked. We were in and out in under an hour. I was also very impressed with the effort put into getting local (really, really local, like Mustang Sally and Ono in Chantilly) breweries on tap. Several of my coworkers have been here for lunch or dinner and the general consensus was that they seemed to have worked through a lot of their growing pains post opening. Not sure why we haven't tried this place sooner! It is literally down the street from where we live. Came on a Saturday night, thankfully not much of a wait. Our server was really nice. We order 2 pizzas, one for the kids and another for my husband and I. Also ordered pretzel bites. Everything was so good! The crust on the pizza...definitely makes the pizza. And they don't skimp on toppings either. Would love to try their salad next time. Love the atmosphere. Really reminded me of a Santa Cruz, CA vibe. Super chill. Absolutely awful. I left the restaurant and already have heartburn. The pretzel lights they advertise are basically dough balls, there is nothing pretzel about them. My thoughts on the Loaded Potato The loaded potato draws a strict line of what can, and what should be. It comes with a multitude of flavors, but not all of the flavors work well together. You end up with a blend of rich creaminess, chunky potatoes, salty bacon, and sour sauce. Each on their own would be delicious, but when you combine all the beautiful colors life has to offer, you end up with black. You end up with a taste that pleases too many taste buds in the mouth: an overflow of flavor. Soon after the first couple of bites, the problem becomes clear. There is just too much going on. It no longer becomes a delicacy for your mouth. Instead, it just turns into a warzone. All the different flavors colliding in your mouth, competing to be the dominant taste you get to enjoy. The moment the food reaches your stomach, all you feel is pain. Your body's only response is to get rid of it. The brief taste of mediocre pleasure is replaced with the destructive bowel movements filled with agony. The loaded potato is only for those with the strongest of stomachs and the lowest of standards. All in all, the loaded potato is pretty good. Would recommend. read more

The manager Malachia was fanstastic. I ordered the funky q chicken with and paid an extra $5 for double chicken. When I got the pizza there was hardly any chicken on it. Literally there was no more than a single small piece of chicken per slice, with some slices not even having any chicken whatsoever. I was pretty disappointed, as the place is always packed with great reviews and it's pretty pricey too, so I was expecting a much better pizza. Anyways, I called the store the next day and spoke to the manager Malachia, who had provided excellent customer service and refunded my order along with an apology. He was very kind and attentive so that is why I am giving this restaurant a 5 star review instead of 3 stars. I love that this place has vegan and gluten free options. Our server was really nice. In the kitchen something was going on though. We waited over 30-40 minutes for an app. The kitchen apologized but they must be slacking in there because people who were seated way after us got their food much faster than we did. I've been to mellow mushroom numerous times, but this was my first time going to this location and I'd have to admit, I loved it. We went on a Saturday for lunch and even though there were a good amount of people there, we still had decently quick service. All of the food was excellent and we got everything exactly how we liked. The best part of our experience though was definitely our waiter. Even though one of my friends was never ready to order and was wasting his time, he was still patient with her and allowed us more time. Also I ordered light cheese on my pizza and after we got the pizza, he checked with me to make sure it was light enough for my preference. We had a great time there, especially because of our waiter, who was patient, but also would laugh and make jokes with us, which made it even better. read more

I am updating my original review based on my experience last night. If I could separate my rating I would give 5 stars for the food and 1 star for the service. Our server seemed less than enthusiastic to be there and made the mood uncomfortable which was completely opposite of our first visit. I ordered an expensive margarita and got a glass of what tasted like bottled mix you get from the liquor store, GROSS! It also took almost 20 minutes for us to get the drinks so we didn't bother asking for a new one. We never saw our waiter so I couldn't ask to speak with a manager and couldn't seem to find one when I went to the restroom. The bathroom was very clean and the people at the front door are very friendly. We love the pizza but may try the Herndon location next time. read more

Was very impressed with the quality and size of the pizza. The crust was delicious and I could not even eat the whole pizza. I'm giving this location four stars because it was clean, friendly, had good service, and my husband and I both liked our food. We checked in and got the free pretzel bites with beer cheese and both agreed it was very good. He also got wings and said they were good; I got a thin crust kosmic karma and it was delicious, and he got the buffalo chicken regular crust and said it was very good. The staff is clearly extremely inexperienced. I had the longest wait I've had in my life for a burger. It was about an hour for our group's pizza and about fifteen minutes more for the burger. To give you a frame of reference, we played an entire game of Ticket to Ride on our phone and then looked around and wondered how the food wasn't there yet. Came here on a Wednesday afternoon . Wasn't busy at all. I got my pizza long before my friend got her salad AND drink. Our server said it was her first day on the job and had to ask other people about certain questions I had, although she was nice and trying her best. They also messed up my pizza somehow, I asked for a large and they gave me a medium. They offered me a smaller pizza but I just don't see how they messed my pizza up, or why it all took so long.
