Most of the juice bars I've been to are decorated nicely, but this place looks kind of janky so I was a bit sketched out when I walked in. But the servers were really nice and welcoming so that made me feel much better. Naturewell also sells a lot of other healthy snacks so it's also like a grocery store as well. I got an Acai Bowl and checked in on Yelp for a free ginger wellness shot (facemelter). 1) A C A I B O W L If you dine-in, the acai bowl is served in a cute glass bowl, and if you take out it's just a regular paper bowl. I wanted to have this baby look nice for the insta so I dined-in :P The presentation is gorgeous! I mean just look at it, the strawberries and bananas are neatly placed--I could tell the server took time to make it look the way it does. I love that I could pick my own granola--I took the bowl to the granola area and they have 6 options available for me to mix and match. I chose the coconut almond granola in the end because I wanted whole almonds in my bowl for extra texture and because almonds are delicious. The server recommended me to fill about 1/3 of the bowl with granola but said if I want more I was welcome to do so, it just means that my bowl will have less acai. The agave on top was really interesting because most agave on acai bowls are more watery and thus not really noticeable, but this one was THICK. And by thick I mean THICK--like super chewy. I really liked it this way actually! The one thing I thought was weird were the blue berries. The blue berries were definitely not fresh because they were chewy--kind of like gummy candies. For a moment I doubted these were blueberries so I had to double check the menu to make sure they weren't some other fruit, but they were really blueberries...odd. I've never had blueberries that are like this and I didn't really like it, it was weird. Maybe because they were pre-packaged frozen blueberries? Hopefully Naturewell can start using fresh blueberries instead. The portion was also quite small--I had this for lunch and it wasn't quite enough. 2) F A C E M E L T E R This wellness shot is made from ginger, cayenne pepper, oregano oil, and lemon. And I'm not kidding, this is super intense and spicy--in a good way though. After drinking it I felt the ginger burning my throat and stomach. Most other ginger wellness shots don't have the oregano oil, so it's an interesting addition. I didn't taste the oil or anything but I wonder what it's for--added health benefits, perhaps? I saw a sign that says if you give this place a 5 star rating you get a free juice or smoothie, which probably explains why this place has such high ratings even though the items here were just average. I want to write an honest review so hence the 3 stars--overall this place is okay and I wouldn't mind coming back but I've had much better acai bowls else where. read more

This place has some of the best smoothies I've ever had. The coconut kale one is phenomenal. i also had one of the raw vegan wraps and WOW, me and my friend could not stop talking about how good everything was. I tried her smoothie and wrap, and they were just as good. You can literally taste the quality and fresh ingredients! Thank you for using Organic! Big big plus! Also, I love that if you check-in you get a tasty little health shot. So Yum. I would come back to this place but the woman working tonight with short dark brown/black here was very unwelcoming. Upon walking in the store she was laughing with her coworkers but when it came to serving my partner and I her entire demeanor changed. I've had much better acai bowls at many other establishments around the city. I only ordered from here because I needed my food to be delivered The acai bowl I ordered was super runny and way too sweet. And most of it was granola...hardly any acai mix. For the price it should have been a bigger portion and better presented. And better tasting. My friend ordered a vegan chocolate shake and she said it was just ok. It didn't taste like a shake, but more like chocolate milk. Neither of us are impressed. I'll stick to my go to spots. **UPDATE** The owner contacted me after my review and apologized for my experience and offered to redo my order for free so they could have the opportunity to fix the problem. That alone earns an extra star. I accepted his offer & placed a new order a few days later. The acai bowl was better, but I think I just prefer my acai mix creamy vs concentrated & icy which is how they make them here. It's their style and it's not a bad thing if that's your preference. BEST AÇAÍ BOWL - I order the açaí bowl from this spot often before work in the mornings to get my day started right. Always get really prompt friendly service from everyone that works there. Larger selection of drinks than most juice bars in LA, thankful they carry E3 Live, a great coffee alternative. from the moment I stepped in Leo and Max were so friendly and kind. They had the right balance of helping you when you wanted to ask questions and leaving you alone when you wanted to make decisions. They were so generous with samples and so nice! I didn't get to try to Acai bowl (what they're famous for) because I feel in love with everything I saw I couldn't purchase any more food! I did get to sample the Acai bowl and it was delicious! They have different granolas to choose from and they make it with lots of love! I liked that they allow you to customize your drink. It tastes good except for a little bit too much lemon which makes my juice sour and couldn't taste the rests of the veggie and fruits. I ordered the available bowl and was surprised by how small it was for the price. The bowl is also mostly granola on the bottom with a small layer of acai on top with just a bit of fruit to top. -----Update----- I'm not one to hastily change a negative review but I have to say this place cares about its costumers more than almost every place I've been. Within a day I was contacted and informed they are training new people and unfortunately that comes with mistakes. They asked us to give them another chance and when I did the owner himself delivered the drinks which seems super over the top good costumer service. He apologized about the poor quality of our order personally rather than just sending an employee. I was blown away. The vegan chocolate one was too thick and rich for my liking but the Tonys special was great. I even got to try the raved about acai bowl but there was so much granola in it a lot of the granola was dry because there wasn't enough acai. I did love the other toppings though. Overall I'm very impressed with how they handled a very bad situation. ------ Original We made the mistake of spending $25 to get two smoothies delivered to us. They didn't put them in a cooler or anything because by the time we got them it was like a watery juice. It wasn't even that cold. It was like they made it an hour before they brought it and it just sat out. It was after 8 pm too so it's not like it was sitting in a hot car. We got the coconut kale and coconut date. I've had way better smoothies elsewhere but since people seem to love this place it may be because they don't care about their delivery costumers. This place is the best juice place in the city!! They offer more selection than any juice place I've ever seen. They have vegetables, fruits, and roots you won't find in most places. Everything is all organic! You can customize and get whatever you want, with no extra upcharges! The size small is actually very large, its 16 ounces...And its always 5.99... I get organic beef, turmeric, ginger, spinach, broccoli, kale, celery, carrots, and red grapes. And no matter if I add something different to it, nothing gets an extra charge! So DELICIOUS! They even perfectly chill it for you. And the folks that work here are always so nice! LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. I've loved this place since it first open. I haven't been there in a while and got a Smoothie with coconut meat, that would include the popular coconut kale smoothie guys, and it tasted quite different. Come to find out they now freeze their coconut meat. If you're wondering why the smoothies don't taste good anymore it's the frozen coconut meat. We know coconut frozen tastes TERRIBLE! Please change this. Do a taste test, taste your own fresh versus frozen fruit and judge for yourself. That's why minus a star and also minus another star for not using all organic fruits and vegetables. This means smoothies with pesticides, herbicides and fungicides with known carcinogens. Certified organic would solve this. Please do better Naturewell, love you guys!! read more

Another stop on my acai bowl tour... It's a little different, where they hand you a container, you put your choice of granola flavor at the bottom and they take care of the rest. The acai bowl itself is pretty good...the usual: acai, blended with bananas, topped with strawberries and bananas and more granola on top.
