I'll keep this review nice and simple. Well without the nice part because I really have nothing good to say about this juice bar. I really wish I could give this place zero stars for customer service AND quality, but that's not how yelp works. I definitely had high hopes in this place considering the almost 5 star with over 300 reviews. But dear lord, Wow I have no idea how this place stays open. To keep it short, I got 2 drinks. 1 of which was a strawberry smoothie I believe and 1 that I hand picked myself, which ingredient I can add. (That's pretty neat, I guess I can give this place 1 star for that much) Strawberry smoothie: I can make this better and more tasteful at home with my eyes closed. Price: $6... I don't mind paying $10 if I have to, but I would've been better off going to a Jamba Juice. 2nd drink of my choice: I picked a couple of healthy vegetables. I think it was kale, ginger, apples, and something else I can't remember (very basic ingredients that can't go wrong in your juice) and this employee basically made it with 2 WHOLE GINGERS that made my throat burn. I then confronted her as I couldn't even take another sip and she approached me saying they always put 2 gingers in all their juices. Hm... I found that a little funny. But I didn't say anything. I asked her for some recommendations on what I could put in my drink so it was at least edible and the two girls working were not accommodating at all. They completely ignored my statements and I feel rather appalled and disgusted. I will never be back and I suggest you don't try either unless you would love wasting about $13 to throw your drinks away in the end. To the management: I came in on June 17th I believe that Saturday. I hope you find your rude employees because 1) your juices are not rather pleasing. But 2) ultimately I couldn't swallow that they were rude. Not sure about you guys, but I can overlook bad food/ drinks in this case. I was pleasantly surprised with my experience at Naturewell. I am very particular when it comes to juice places as I am afraid to venture out of my comfort zone (jamba, juice crafters) and whine up spending 10 dollars for a juice that taste like grass. My wife and I ordered two juices, one was really good and the other not so much. As luck would have it I picked the coco kale which tastes like grass mixed with dates. My wife on the other hand got this amazingly refreshing smoothie with pineapple and berries. I haven't tasted anything like it and I have been to a fair share of LA juice spots. The thing that stood out at this shop was having the option to select and pour the granola of my choice. They had about 9 diffident options and I went with the strawberry granola. The consistency of the açaí ended up being really good! Toppings included blueberries, strawberries, granola, honey, and coconut flakes. My boyfriend and I shared a single açaí bowl ($9.50). Problem with that is that nothing is "perfect" as they try to do too many different things. I came for the poke so that will be my review- 3/5: music is too loud, confusing menu, not great for eating on location, fish for the poke had a lot of fat and not enough scoops for the price ($8.99 2 *small* scoops). So she gave me a tasting cup , I scooped a tiny bit of granola went to smell the flavor then pour it in to the tasting cup. But before I could pour it in the tasting cup the owner yellled at me & i mean SERIOUSLY YELLED AT ME. Saying quote " DON'T DO THAT , DON'T SMELL OUR GRANOLA THATS DISGUSTING, YOUR DISGUSTING." Me and my friends all thought he was joking but he proceed to yell at us and say we were gross so we walked out and will NEVER go to that Naturewell again. I give this place a 0/10!!!! read more

Juice was good, but long wait. Only one employee working. We used the Yelp check in for free shot and she tried to deny it by saying it was for another location and not redeemable. When I showed her the address confirming I was at the correct location, she didn't seem too happy that she had to honor it. So in return, she charged me $1 extra for a medium drink even though I ordered and received a small, and she charged me $1 extra for my boyfriends 1oz shot. This place was fantastic! The smoothies tasted like I had gone to the farmers market, picked out my favorite fruits and veggies, and blended them together in a Vitamix to make the perfect smoothie just for me. Super fresh fruits and vegetables! And the acai bowls...heaven in a cup! For starters, you get to pick your own granola for the bowl from a wall with 10-12 different types of granola and then they have wonderful ingredients to boot. The choices of smoothies available was good, and it's nice that you can include a wide variety of fruits and veggies. The smoothies were pretty good, but not as good as I would have hoped given all of the other great reviews I'd seen. I had to wait a long time to pick up an online order, as they only had one person working the counter, both taking orders and making smoothies. The drinks, however, were pretty underwhelming, especially for what we thought was a "five-star" place. We've actually been to the other Naturewell location in Silver Lake, and thought that one tasted a bit more flavorful. Their smoothies aren't bad, but they're not great either. We've tried three drinks here and I think we'd both agree that Berrylicious is our favorite. The store was also very clean and carries a variety of other healthy snacks. It's definitely not a bad place to come. However, I stand by my two-star review because the integrity of this business is questionable. Personally, I think a business's Yelp score has the ability to greatly benefit or harm that business's success. I feel bad for any other nearby smoothie places that are following Yelp's terms honestly and not seeing the same results as this place because they're not "cheating the system." As a small business owner myself, this really bothers me. If they take down their "free drink for a five-star review" offer, I'd change my mind about this location. I wasn't sure what I wanted so a very nice employee made me a delicious protein shake for my post-yoga treat :) The smoothie was the perfect consistency and not too sweet. I'm not sure what is in it exactly but I know it was made with hemp milk and spinach. It was so yummy. After we checked in, my friend and I got a free facemelter shot. I've only been here once and it has instantly become my #1 juice place in town! When I walked in the other day, I was warmly greeted by the staff. I had just come down with a terrible cold and was willing to do everything I could to bust it out of my system. However, I'm still a juice newbie and had no idea what to order. Luckily, one of their employees, a super friendly employee, Cindy, was eager to listen through all of my ailments and quickly stir up a juice (it's called "The Hulk") tailored to my sickly needs and dietary requests, mine being to go light on the ginger since my taste pallet does not agree with anything stronger than ginger beer. An extra shot of something bumped up the price a bit, but still didn't hit the almost frightful prices of some other juice establishments, which shall remain nameless.
