Nice to be able to pick your slice. I asked about more meat options and it was limited--until 2 minutes after we placed order and slices were in the oven, they added pepperoni. Boo. Mom liked her veggie slice and ate the whole snickerdoodle cookie.

I'll always love Messengers. I grew up in Nampa and went probably 3 times a week with various friend and church groups. I moved away several years ago and still have dreams about their pizza (I swear) It's a must to visit Messengers when I'm in town. Dare I say they continue to get better and better. Pizza is insane as per usual, salad bar always fresh and has great options. Truly a staple in Nampa.

I was next-door at PreFunk and from reading other reviews we called and placed an order for a 24 inch NY style Jalapeño Popper Pizza and they brought it to us next-doorl. It was ready within 20 minutes, it was huge, so good and the customer service was excellent! They even brought us paper plates and plenty of Parmesan Cheese and Red Chilli packets. We each ate a couple slices and took the rest home.

Great downtown restaurant with a lot of character! A kaleidoscope of colorful art, wall hangings, lamps, decorative tables, all a bit loud and clashing, which is a fun vibe. The food is generous with a lot of pizza and sandwich types, lots of seating, in a cluster of other nice stores. One of our slices was slightly burned and they threw another one on top of the order to make up for it: huge slices.

Visiting my man in Idaho, we decided to come here for some pizza since he has come here a handful of times in the past and thought it was pretty good and I agree with him ! We got the large slices of pizza.. he had the pepperoni pizza slices and me being more adventurous, I got the jalapeño popper pizza slices. He went with an IPA beer to drink and I went with an organic chocolate stout beer and we added on the salad bar this visit as well. We enjoyed the ENORMOUS slices of pizza.. the jalapeño popper one was definitely poppin' and it had a great kick to it but I definitely recommend grabbing some water as the heat definitely builds up more than you might expect. The organic chocolate beer was simply delicious!!! I'm such a chocolate lover and this was the PERFECT beer for me! Salad bar was expensive however and left a lot to be desired which is why I took off a star. It's an extremely limited salad bar and it was okay but nothing really wowed us or tasted that fresh in all honesty. Had a some very basic ingredients for salad and some bread sticks and that was the gist of the salad bar. For approximately $12.50 per person I expected more. Also the breadsticks were overly garlicky and flies were circling around that area of the restaurant which made it less appealing. We also got another of our same choices of beers to go and another slice of pizza. I got a bacon apple slice to go and that was also a very tasty flavor!! Definitely a cool place with good pizza, decent beer selections and funky fun artwork ! Cute little spot for friends and family to meet up or for a date night. I would skip the salad bar completely next time but I'd love to come back to try the drunken goat pizza which was not available this particular night we went.

I struggled when deciding what to rate Messenger Pizza. I landed on a 4 because the taste of the pizza, quality of service and the unique vibe make me want to go back some day. We had not previously seen a cream cheese sauce for pizza before so we gave it a try. It was ok. I might try it again after I have tried others. The pizza crust was cooked perfectly and had great flavor. I'm not a fan and don't fully understand the soda selection. Cans of Shasta? I'd suggest hitting up Costco and offer some variety. My wife had a glass of wine and thought it was pretty good for the price. All in all I'm not likely to go out of my way to eat here again. If I were in the area I wouldn't be against it. So if you are in the area looking for something different when it comes to pizza, I'd suggest giving it a try.

The food hasn't been as good the last 2 times I went, and the dread-head at the register was quite bitchy. Oh well.

The atmosphere is very casual, metal tables and chairs, bright and cheerful. Even though it appears like a fast food restaurant, there is table service, and that's nice. Payten was our server, and she did a great job of taking care of us. Don't know what it would be like during the busy times. My wife ordered a Chicken Shawarma sandwich, and I got the Chicken Shawarma bowl. My wife liked the sandwich, and I enjoyed the bowl. Nicely seasoned chicken with a base of salad and Safron rice. Very filling, too. Also, their fries are very good. They are seasoned well and crispy, just the way I like them. We will definitely be back. Good, healthy food at a reasonable price, in a nice atmosphere. My only negative is that the AC was on cold enough for both of us to wish we had brought coats.

My wife is a fan of plain bagels and absolutely loved hers. It was soft in the middle. Go on the outside and cooked up crunchy just about perfect. I had the poppyseed bagel which tasted very good, but the poppy seeds had a funny taste to them. It was just an off taste and they were much smaller than most poppyseeds I've seen. Hard to describe the flavor. The jalapeño bagel was great. It could've used more cheddar and jalapeño like Albertsons down the street, but the bagel was excellent. Just little chopped up pieces of jalapeño resident slices. I toasted it with just butter and was very happy with it. Sarah's bagels are a bit less money than Panera Bread and a little more than a grocery stores but if you want to splurge on a bagel, I recommend them Not a fancy place, but there are some tables and it looks like groups get together and have bagels and coffee there in the morning I was in and out quickly and got my bagels to go. Let me start with the pros. The service was incredibly friendly. The food was delivered to our table still hot, which is a huge plus for me. The bacon on the loaded fries was absolutely delicious. The flavor of my prime rib dip sandwich itself was pretty good. Now for the cons. We ordered the loaded fries appetizer for $8 and were both surprised by how small the portion was. I knew the moment I saw the cup of au jus for my prime rib dip that it wasn't going to have much flavor, and I was right. It was more like basic beef broth straight from a can. Au jus is what makes a French dip so good but this just didn't cut it. My husband ordered a patty melt and after just a few bites, he had a strange look on his face. I asked him what was wrong and he said the taste and texture of the meat was unusual to him. I looked at it and took it bite myself and agreed. The only way to describe it is like the patty was made up of ground Slim Jim beef sticks or something like it. My husband didn't particularly care for it and he also felt like everything was over seasoned. When he questioned our server about what kind of meat was used in his sandwich, she couldn't explain what the difference was between his sandwich and what they use in their burgers, just that it was a different patty of some sort. Another con is that all of their salad dressings at their salad bar or in squeeze bottles. My dressing of choice is blue cheese, which doesn't squeeze well from a bottle when the chunks of cheese gets stuck in the nozzle. Not a big deal, but frustrating when you're trying to squeeze it onto your salad praying that it doesn't suddenly explode all over the place. Two sandwiches, one with a side salad substitution for fries, and a small plate of loaded fries and waters to drink was a $50 dinner. As I said at the beginning It wasn't a bad experience, it just wasn't great. For a $50 dinner it was just okay. But I would definitely give it five stars for the friendly service and the fact that the food was served hot.
